Lovely ambiance, great friendly service, real ale and superb food. What more can you ask for? Oh yes, reasonable price and they have that as well! Great find and we have already booked our next visit!

Very quaint and friendly. Superb service. Freshest for breakfast. Creamy scrambles...the way they should be. Top quality bacon....cooked to perfection. Thumbs up for a top pad!

We were staying in Upton and visited the Old Anchor pub, where we enjoyed puddings that had been made at this establishment. On leaving the pub we decided to find the shop in order to buy puddings to take home. Delicious homemade steamed puddings are available to buy from the shop or online. The puddings are all made on site using traditional methods and are big enough for 2 people to share. Currently they are £3.60 each or three for £10. We bought 3 of course and our only difficulty was choosing from the huge range available. They freeze well so no need to eat them all at once!
