Nice quiet place to have breakfast/lunch

Lovely little cafe with delicious takeaway options. We had our wedding nearby and needed to cater for 25 guests the morning after. The team at Poolbrook Cafe were able to ensure we could offer our guests some tasty bacon or veggie sausage sandwiches (including a gluten free option for 1 guest) in the morning. They even opened the kitchen on the Bank Holiday Monday morning to cater for us. Fantastic, can't recommend enough. Thank you!

Great food in a busy little cafe! Outside seating fur summer and heated for winter. Lived my large breakfast! With the Malvern Hills close by it’s an idyllic location to stop and relax!

This cafe has charm, cosiness and the staff are super welcoming. We loved the simplicity and well thought out decor and we felt at home. This cafe has a specialness that makes you want to go back again. We especially liked the array of mouth- watering cakes displayed on the counter, the menu with plenty of choice, the quirky touches of ceiling hooks - a remnant from the past of previous use as a butcher's shop and the facility to buy local honey. All so memorable and with a distinctive character. This cafe is one of Malvern's secrets waiting to be discovered; a must-go-to place for coffee / lunch.

The breakfasts are gorgeous, the cakes are delicious and the coffee is beautiful. My favourite place in Malvern, well worth the visit, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped here this morning on the way to Three Counties Showground. Perfect spot for a delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. We arrived before the official opening time but were warmly greeted and quickly served. Thank you so much!

Found this on Google maps when looking for a coffee stop, very pleased that we did. Delicious cakes and very friendly staff. Unfortunately we don’t live locally or we would visit regularly.

The first thing you notice is the warm service. Always a welcome greeting with a smile. Their breakfasts are mouthwatering, just like their cakes - all homemade! Check this place out!!

We had a lovely breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.

A covered area outside at the front is very convenient for dog walkers and muddy boots; there was also the offer to put the heaters on for us. A warm welcome and a good cup of coffee. We enjoyed our visit thank you.

Stopped off for a spot of lunch at the Poolbrook kitchen and very glad we did, they have array of freshly made sandwiches, and jackets and home made cakes, coffee's and milkshakes what a delightful cafe well worth a visit if you in the Malvern area!

This cafe really should be on everyone's radar - caters for all tastes - food is all homemade - sit inside or out. The breakfasts are delicious. Homemade cakes are yummy. Freshly baked SourDough bread. Today weather so warm, highly recommend their iced coffee. Supporting local business. Covid rules in place. Drop in or book ahead via website. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Poolbrook cafe is just delightful. I have had many a cooked breakfast eaten inside and the quality never fails. The sourdough bread is the best ever. As for their afternoon teas, well they are amazing. During lockdown myself, friends and family have all enjoyed such a treat. The Victoria sponge cake is a particular winner but everything is faultless. I would highly recommend you try this gem of a cafe if you haven't already. Alison and her team will provide all your dietary requirements as nothing is too much trouble 😊

Anyone who knows me well knows I love Poolbrook Kitchen and Coffee Shop and for good reason.....Great atmosphere, friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and above all fab food!!!! It does not matter what your tastes they cater for Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free diets. They even do Afternoon teas for the winter days...with bowls of gorgeous homemade soup! Take a trip you will not be disappointed.........!

I adore this little cafe, I would recommend booking ahead if you want to sit inside, although they do have some covered outdoor seating. Food is wonderful; freshly cooked and quality ingredients. They do a lovely vegan breakfast, a few vegan mains/lunches as well as vegan cake and a range of plant milks. Very homely and welcoming, with great food, would highly recommend.

We booked the day before in case the cafe was busy as this was a Saturday 26/9/2020. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. We had the vegan breakfast with tea followed by carrot cake, all the food was very good so we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There was a good menu and we look forward to our next visit.

Popped in to have lunch with my Mum who has been sheltering. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and cuppa. Will definitely go back again.

What a treat, High Tea!!!! Wonderful homemade sandwiches with freshly made range of fillings, savouries, cakes and scones! Beautifully served on tiered cake stands and bone china. A great cup of tea also served in bone china...which as we all know makes the tea taste better, especially if you point your pinky to drink it “proper”! Lovely weather to enjoy the outside seating with a view of the Common. The only issue……..there was too much food and we had to ask for it to be boxed up to take home! Staff could not be any more attentive to our needs despite being busier than normal due to “Eat Out and Help Out” offer. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Poolbrook Kitchen and Coffee Shop never disappoints!

I order my lunch once or twice a week in advance from here, usually Halloumi Salad and a sneakypiece of delicious homemade Victoria Sponge,I work from home, so forces me to stop. Lunch was ready, asked for a takeaway latte, they were busy, but happy to wait, took no less than 5 mins and I was on my way home again. Passionate about supporting local businesses and this one is no exception. Thank you.

During lockdown . . . . takeaway Vegan Afternoon Tea for 2 was very good. Enjoyed very much. Finger sandwiches, cakes and scones all good.

We ordered an afternoon tea for six to celebrate a lockdown birthday with select friends. As expected there were finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and a selection of cakes. All homemade and delicious. We stretched it out to feed seven and two goodie bags. Easy to order and very responsive to messages. Good value too. Can't recommend Alison and her team more highly.

Just had an amazing breakfast. Staff were happy to swap out some items, so had scrambled eggs (cooked fresh in pan and not microwaved), Gloucester old spot sausage, black puddding, bacon and sourdough toast. Absolutely gorgeous when washed down with some lovely coffee too!

Lovely little cafe which is super vegan friendly, about 4 different plant based milks to go with the really good coffee!! And they even have a dairy free vanilla frappe mix which is amazing! For food I had the vegan smokey bean chilli off the specials and my friend had the vegan pancakes, you can’t even tell they don’t have egg in?! There’s also vegan cakes available too and plenty of other options on the breakfast and lunch menu! Fully recommend if you’re in Malvern and looking for a veg (and dog friendly) cafe :)

Really enjoyed a lovely ham and cheese toastie on Sourdough bread which is made on site every morning. It is available to purchase to take home too!! The coffee is very good too! Would definitely recommend!!!

We often stop here on our dog walk for breakfast, or pop along for lunch, as we are nearby. It is good quality food & often has unusual things, which are all tasty. Good prices and lots of new stuff on the menu regularly. Cakes are great too! Love it.

Breakfast range from £4.50-£9. Lovely full english and great breakfast sandwich. Hash brown was delicious. Flat white needs practice but was still good coffee. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Great local place.

Delicious brunch!! The locally sourced blended coffee was enough to make me return then the food confirmed it, it is a gem of a place! Alison is so welcoming..adding an extra sparkle to this jewel!

We had an excellent lunch here, with delicious freshly baked sourdough focaccia bread (with tomatoes), and incredible vegan flapjacks. The coffee was also perfect, lovely service and warm sunshine!

I regularly visit Poolbrook cafe for breakfast or the odd treat as I live close by and am never disappointed. I went for lunch today for the first time and it was spot on. Great ploughmans with a selection of local cheeses to choose from. A really friendly cafe would recommend!

Newly moved to the Malvern area and have been trying different independent cafes. This is easily the best. Not very attractive from the outside and small, but there is seating outside too, and you can park. The food and coffee are great. Fresh, very good quality ingredients, beautifully cooked. Often 'specials' so there's some variety. Plus, homemade cakes. Not rip-off prices either. Alison the owner and her assistants are all very pleasant and welcoming. A small business well worthy of success.

I have been going to this cafe since it has opened, delicious cakes, fantastic breakfast, great lunches, lovely coffee. Everything is home made, service is great. Nothing is too much trouble. Alison the owner is warm and welcoming. They run Supper Clubs, well worth booking onto, they have a theme every month. They are soon about to start a Pudding Club.

Had a lovely lunch. Food was fresh and delicious in such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Great for Vegan & Gluten Free choices too. I'll be going again soon.

Been here with my dad twice already and couldn't fault anything. Service is quick and atmosphere was very friendly. Would definitely recommend the breakfast options and cake !!

Have enjoyed coffee, breakfast and cakes several times now and have never been disappointed. Everything is high quality and freshly made. This really is a wonderful place that offers plenty of options suiting all tastes. It has a cosy feel and friendly staff and I love it.

Very disappointing! Pre ordered as we know service is slow however it still took 35 minutes to make two sandwiches. We paid £19 including cake and half of the fillings we requested were missing. Colleagues had visited earlier in the day and also had mistakes with their orders. Won't be ordering again

Super friendly atmosphere, fresh coffee and lots of local charity events held. You can tell the owner is passionate and isn't in it all for the money. Altogether a must visit in the malverns. Dog friendly aswell with bowls of water outside.

Warm atmosphere and great home made food in cost neighborhood cafe. A bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the diversion.

A great example of why you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. It doesn't have the exterior or interior design appeal of a big brand trendy outlet but that is more than made up for by the wide selection of food including vegetarian and vegan options. Food was tasty, prices are very reasonably and the staff friendly. Was surprised by the quality and standard. Would go back again.

Supper club meal was excellent as usual with a selection of interesting and tasty starters, and yummy deserts. All the food was good quality and well prepared. My husband particularly liked the pheasant. The service was very friendly and efficient as usual, and the atmosphere welcoming and lively. We will have to try the breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea when we can manage to get there as reports have all been good.

The home of the artisan breakfast, cooked to perfection. Locally sourced ingredients to a glorious full English. One could wax rhapsodic about the fried egg, which looked too picture perfect to eat but which was, of course, swiftly eaten. The bacon was unlike anything you will get from a plastic packet of a chiller cabinet in a supermarket aisle, and the sausage was perfection.

This is a genuinely friendly cafe with home made food which is really delicious. It is ideal for lunch or a morning or afternoon snack, and a good place to stop on the way to or from Peachfield Common on the slopes of the Malvern Hills.

Cozy cafe with brilliant food made with the freshest ingredients. Owner was very nice to let me work and made sure I was able to connect to the wi-fi. Young lady who works there has a passion for healthy food. Loads of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on offer in addition to British favourites. Water bowl for the dogs at the front door is a big plus!

Wow. First visit was to make a delivery, smelt the food and ordered a carry-out for the office, which did not make it back, that good.Now been back many times, always excellent service, always freshly cooked with an extensive selection. Very easy parking, slightly off the beaten track, but if on the way to the Three Counties showground, stop, and stock up and if in Malvern head for Poolbrook, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely sandwiches and very helpful for gluten free and egg free mayo.

10/10 for food and staff but portion sizes are a bit small
