Nat was great she works hard and makes sure you have all you need , would defo come here again and eat . Breakfast was lovely

We have been going to the Radford for years, but our last visit was very disappointing, while I appreciate the road works are really affecting them You can’t make any excuse for the poor amount of meat served .After purchasing 2 carvery’s the gammon was removed because it had just gone down to 2 kgs which then allowed them to re use the next day leaving just the Turkey, so my friend decided to have a burger which he then had to wait for. I don’t mind Turkey so decided to carry on with the Turkey, what a mistake, the chef who served me could have done with a razor rather than a knife trying to give me the minimum amount he could, in hindsight I should have asked for my money back but we where out for a good night and went out of our way to get there due to the roadworks so I just thought suck it up as I can honestly say me and my family have been here hundreds of times over the years and never had a bad meal. Hopefully someone will take this in a either tell people before they buy there food or make sure you have sufficient meat to give people a decent portion and be less concerned with making sure the meat doesn’t go under 2 kgs so they can use it the next day.

Got to say I am very impressed with this place we all just rocked up and there was a few of us, we were all sat together and our food came together, I had pizza which was very nice. Highly recommend

We know there’s loads of road work around that area where the Radford is but we’ve not had a carvery for ages do went for a treat glad we did the service was 2nd to none as always the food was piping hot and gorgeous thank you all it was worth the drive

One bar maid when there’s a que Take out orders o er run the standing in que paying customer Served a slice of fat asked fir more beef ! To be told it’s done by weight ? I didn’t want 6 0z of gristle ! Won’t he going back it’s getting worse ! Yeats we’ve eaten there . N now spend more time in a que than at table . N that picture is the fat n you can see a tiny bit of beef !

Shannon was excellent she made sure me and family were looked after, would highly recommend this restaurant and bar area.

We have been coming here for about a couple of years and the food is always great and tasty. A very clean and friendly place. We would gladly recommend this to hungry weary travelers.

Carvery was great, good value too, all the staff were friendly, especially Mario, who looked after us all very well and had a laugh with us too.

Great breakfast and would like to mention how wonderful the staff are there. Trinity, Jamie and Lucie. Very attentive especially trinity as she remembered the extra milk for the coffee from the last time I came in. And from the general feel this is not just for me. They appear to have a very good rapport with their customers.

Very relaxing atmosphere on a Monday evening. I had the beef carvery, the meat was very tender and the veg was cooked perfectly. The service was good and Jacob that served me was very polite. I will be visiting again!

We when in for a carvery and 3 for £9.99. We order 3 portions of the spicy prawns at 16:48 and it took them over 30 mins to get them out to us. I had to go up and ask for them and they took another good 5 minutes after that. The food was horrible and overcooked, we didn’t complain as my father is type 1 diabetic and he needed food. We then went up for the carvery, when I got up there they had forgot to put the Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes in and there was 10 min wait on them. The gravy and cauliflower had run and they didn’t fill them up until I had to ask. The food was warm and not hot. We didn’t want to complain has we had a really good day. But the food was really bad and we were very disappointed with the pub. The toilets were just as bad, there was no toilet paper and the soap dispenser was completely broken.

Excellent food , always very tasty can’t help but clear the plate ( clean enough to put back in the cupboard) 😃 Mario gave excellent service

Great breakfast buffet, come here often for food but the breakfast today was amazing...plenty out on deck ready as we were a table of 10. Thank you to all the staff, especially head chef Jay for the lovely food and Nat and Sally FOH.

The carvery was spot on, and the service was excellent. Especially the young lady on the bar I’m sure her name was Shannon. She didn’t rush us on ordering our drinks and even had time to wish us a good day.

Fantastic staff, really looked after us, nothing too much trouble. I messaged ahead to let them know we would be visiting with my granddaughters who are autistic asking for a table in a quiet area of the restaurant which was free when we arrived. We booked for festive menu. But all had to order at the bar, they didnt have one of the main starters then when the starter came the were missing the rolls with the soup the sauce and dips with the mushrooms.. which we had to chase and then they came after most of the family had finished, then no warning to all the family members that had ordered carvery, and the one family member that had ordered the burger it came and then had to sit alone for 15mins while the rest went to get there carvery.. the one veggie carvery that was issued was so dry and tuff it couldnt be eaten…it wasnt great at all, we were all very disappointed with our meas! then we were asked with the Christmas puddings would we like brandy sauce or custard, all ordered brandy sauce! Then they all came with custard. While we were eating the server came and asked who would be paying the bill and said thay all the staff had be arguing to which one would be taking the payment from our table? But the server said make sure we shouted her so she would get the tip.

BBQ Hawaiian Pizza was ordered. Pizza was perfect and very tasty. Thank you to Chef Jack for preparing and baking that for me. Unfortunately there was no Fish and Chips available for Dad today but he enjoyed his Gammon Carvery as a consolation. Two happy customers. 🍽️ Thanks Radford Bank staff!

Lovely service , Megan was really accommodating and kind , got us seated as quickly as possible. Food was lovely and drinks served quickly. Me and my friends had a lovely time as usual and would 100% recommendation on a Sunday!

A lovely welcome from Shan, Meg and Natalie. Great service from Maria and Tish. The best burgers made by Jack from the new menu (which is fabulous) and as always a lovely friendly atmosphere. Micha has a great team working for her. This is always our go to place, even though we don’t live in Stafford any longer. I can’t find any fault with the food, staff and service and I would recommend to anyone who wants a lovely meal and to feel welcome to pay them a visit. We had our Christmas lunch there last year and we’re already booked in again for this Christmas. I would find it hard for anyone to find any fault or complaint when coming here for food.

Went here for Sunday carvery, they got the children's meal wrong to start with then bought out another meal with about 5 chips on it...when I asked for a few more the staff were rude! Compared to how good this pub was years ago its gone downhill a lot! I will never return!
