We stumbled into this location while taking a stroll around the city. We made the wise decision to try Rad pizza! The staff who assisted us was courteous and friendly. Ten stars for the pizza! Rich in taste, the foundation is flawless, well-done!

Surprising. Very good pizzas. The dough is light and it cooks well. The pizza oven is working perfect cause the pizza has that crispy under which is great. The toppings are fresh and they do Vegan/Vegetarian options too. Staff are cool. The service is good. Drink selection needs improvement.

Best pizza I have ever eaten, so good after my first I immediately went back for a second! They really love and care about what they do and it shows. The dough was light and airy with just the right amount of char from the pizza oven. The sauce had a lovely freshness and was made from real San Marzano tomatos and the cheese was generous but not so much so that it made the pizza greasy or heavy. The fries are nice and crispy and really well seasoned too. The addition of a vegan pizza was a nice touch too and wasn't just lazily replacing the cheese with a vegan cheese.

The best pizza i ever had.The dough is really light and soft and cooked in a wood oven which gives an amazing flavour to every pizza .Service was excellent and there was no waiting time at all .Also the environment was really friendly and i am really glad to choose Rad Pizza Shop for having a proper Italian pizza experience .I recommend this shop to everyone and i will definitely choose it again in the future

Love Rad Pizza, it’s definitely my go to pizza place at both Spark and Angel on the Green. All the staff are lovely and accommodating, but Jam especially is amazing and hugely knowledgeable. He clearly thrives as a pizza chef and it shows. A credit to the team.

Went with the kids recently and we all loved it! The pizza was delicious, highly recommended, and special mention of Jam who was great with the kids. Keep up the great work guys!

Had some stunning pizza at Rad this past weekend! Everything was cooked to perfection and the pizza chef, Jam was great, helping me decide what to order and even brought my wife a blanket whilst we ate! Top level service!

Unreal pizzas are Spark from Rad Pizza the other week - amazing dough and crust, lovely toppings and great atmosphere. Spoke to Jam the pizza chef who told me all about their process, which was really appreciated as a budding pizza connoisseur myself! Will definitely visit again A++++

Rad Pizza shop is THE place to go for lunch. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food was prepared really quickly. The prices were fair for the amount and quality of the food received. Speaking of quality, the pizzas were perfection, a good ratio of cheese and sauce and a good spread of toppings, base was cooked well and was nicely thin. There is a wide range of choice available, including 8 base pizzas with addable items. The food was piping hot when it was hand delivered to the table and definitely lived up to expectation. Would recommend for anyone who eats pizza and is looking for good food in York. Thank you Rad Pizza!!

All the toppings fell off, the centre of the base was so thin it couldn’t hold anything. The chef must have just have kept on rolling the dough. The pizza did taste ok hence the 2 stars but when you have to individually eat the base then the toppings that slid off the base separately then it wasn’t so good. Won’t be ordering again

Visited Rad Pizza as they had vegan choices so ordered a Marinara and vegan Capriccosa. Absolutely banging pizza, fabulous base and toppings and perfectly seasoned.

order food from here today took 45 mins to get had to go up and ask what happened to the order they said never got the ticket but could see on the tablet when it finally the dough was raw and the toppings just slid off never again

The Pizza, Staff and Venue were a 10/10. The pizza was fresh as they come and tasted great. Only thing I could say needed improving is the crispness of the pizza, once they have cracked that it would be the ultimate pizza spot !

I visited Rad for the first time today (May 2023). We sampled the Margherita and Funghi (with Prosciutto) pizzas and they were amazing. The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. Will definitely be coming here again.

Pizza was not tasty, too much fat and not cooked at all, it also took a very long time and is now in the toilet never again!!

Great pizza! I went for the butternut squash special. Took a while to get our food, but to be fair, Spark was abnormally busy and it looked like there were a lot of Deliveroo orders coming in. Would recommend giving it a try!

I feel sad when I opened it. It was very burnt on top and underneath near the crust. I can taste bitter in every bite. The fills were salty.

Simply the best du du du du better than all the rest. Can’t get enough of this place, nicely priced, quick delivery and the combination of flavours on top of the silky, bodacious dough is sensational. Giving me them good vibrations for real. Highly recommend
