What a lovely place to go for lunch. The food was very tasty and the staff were lovely. We had the pasty’s with salad and chutney and a cream tea and I can honestly say it’s the most generous portion of clotted cream Iv had in Devon. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

As a regular, service and quality of food is usually very good. Last visit however was disappointing as despite it being one of their quiet days we had to ask to get served. Then the lemon meringue pie/tart I had was very disappointing as at £5.50 had very little lemon in and a layer of sponge which simply didn't work

A massive thankyou to you all for the seemingly effortlessly going above and beyond!! Firstly, for so very kindly accomidating us just after normal hours, I'm sure you won't want me publisize this fact too much, but it speaks volumes on your level of customer service you promote. Elli was brilliant in her handling of my request and managed to get you all on board. The cream tea was perfectly, I just can never remember whether in Devon its cream first then Jam or the other way around as we do in cornwall? We could have stayed for hours as there was so many other delights to try and taste, perhaps another time.. You are all lovely people and I will be activily spreading the word accordingly. Simply a must place to go even if you aren't actually going into South Molton. Thank you so much A&E (not the emergency services)

I previously gave the cafe a sparkling review. Went in for a takeaway away coffee and was charged 50p extra for a small amount of oat milk. The price was not shown on the board. I pay the same amount for oat milk as dairy...50p is unreasonable, especially when added without advertising the price

Nice coffee but unfriendly staff, who felt the need to get the vacuum cleaner out while we were trying to enjoy our drinks.

My husband and I are regular visitors to this excellent cafe whose staff are amazing, and the selection of cakes is fantastic........... as are the savoury offerings. Fabulous scones (though I'd plead with Rachael to stop adding a sugar crust to them as it is quite unnecessary) and very generous helpings of clotted cream. Great ambience.

I stumbled upon this amazing little place, during a lunch break from work to meet my Dad. All I can say is that I absolutely love it here. I’ve not stopped raving about it since. The cakes are all so fresh and look amazing with a wide selection for you to choose from. I had the Jaffa cake, we went half’s, the portions are huge! I also had a savoury tart main which was out of this world, delicious. Staff were all so polite and friendly and the Tearoom itself is so cozy with a really beautiful interior. I’m really happy I found it! P.s; the flat white’s are amazing too. Thanks guys 🫶🏼

Food was ok, nothing special. Small portion for the price but tasted ok. Stuff weren’t friendly though, they weren’t rude but it’s like they found customers an inconvenience. Tea was nice.

A small local bakery and cafe serving wonderful pasties and a devon cream tea. Lovely place to retreat to on a rainy day. All home cooked with friendly staff.

What a lovely cafe! They’ve got everything absolutely spot on here. Even the ’lowly’ side salad had thought and care put into it - delicious mix of leaves, grapes and yummy dressing. All the food was simple but classily done without undue fuss. Service super friendly and quick and the bread and cakes (though not sampled by us) looked fabulous. Great atmosphere, couldn’t fault it.

Bought some delicious bakery goods, but I'm here mostly to post that I had simply the best tasting cheese and onion pasty I think I've ever had. It was hot, cheesy, the potato flaky and delicious and the pasty perfect. If I'd known how good they'd be I'd have bought them all... had some other nice cakes and good granary farmhouse loaf - when I'm next in the vicinity I'll be sure to go back there. The place was jumping with people having lunch and the atmosphere was really good.

Excellent establishment, very kindly had a whole room almost for 9 of us. The breakfasts we all had were amazing, tasty, plentiful. Great choice of teas, drinks, all hot drinks had lovely tea caddies. The ladies were all very helpful, accommodating, polite, just lovely. They kept passing us with their hands full of baked goodies ready to display, so tempting and delicious looking. Do pop in, or pre book, if they do that! hope to visit next time we're in the area.

Recommended this place for coffee and cake. Great service, great food and drinks with a good atmosphere. Knocked a star off because we were sitting near the kitchen and saw cooks placing flans or tarts from the oven onto a trolley to cool down , then other staff placing trays with customers dirty crockery and food from the tables onto the same trolley.

We always struggle to get a decent vegetarian lunch for my wife, but Rachael's really set a new standard. The butternut squash and chickpea salad was nothing short of stunning. And the cakes really are the perfect accompaniment. 100% recommended.

This tearoom was absolutely superb! You won’t regret popping in here. The staff were really lovely and the platter was great! The food is locally sourced and excellent quality. All freshly cooked so takes a few minutes longer, but worth the wait. Good value.

Stumbled across the cafe when we arrived in Ilfracombe and needed coffee. Quaint and characterful and clearly has it's regular customers. Coffee was good and hot but the homemade Eccles cake was amazing! The other treats looked good too. Coming across The Naked Cake cafe was the best thing about Ilfracombe which was otherwise, tatty and very down at heel.

Lovely modern roomy lodges in a beautiful location. Breakfast choice was great, cooked breakfast very good & piping hot👍 Pub food also excellent, quick service, good choices. Most staff helpful & friendly. One member of staff who greeted us on arrival wasn't welcoming. Only a couple of minor things- rusty toilet roll holder which spoilt the rest of the very new bathroom & the shelf above sink is in the way. Suggestion - small fridge, there is room. Mirror near plug sockets. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Four of us popped in today and we were glad we did ! Looking through the window showed it was full but a table of four had just got up so we sat in their seats :) We all had the Breakfast at £11 each. Couldn’t fault the meal at all, plenty on the plate and locally sourced. Really good selection of coffee, tea and fresh orange 🍊 juice. Highly recommended Get a seat and order at the counter. Very pleasant polite service as well. Seating outside. Well done 👏👏
