We ordered 2 coffees and they forgot about them. The barista kept staring at us while we sat down and waited for our coffee. We needed to go and tell them what we ordered and show them the bill that we paid and ordered. The place was not that crowded at that time. Coffee was average at most.

Discovered this great little cafe by accident and stopped in for a quick snack and coffee while sightseeing in Edinburgh. It is located right at the main bus stop for sightseeing buses and for Waterloo Place. We found service, food and coffee / hot chocolate to be very reasonably priced and quite good. After our first experience, we stopped in several more times - location, price and quality were a combination we greatly appreciated.

Just got back from a weekend in Edinburgh and we visited this cafe 3 times in 2 days as it was that nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the selection of sandwiches were slightly different to what you'd see in Costa for example. I had a chorizo and cheese seeded bun with tomato, rocket and a type of smokey mayo and it was absolutely delicious. Next morning I had a breakfast roll and it was freshly cooked to order and tasted so good. I'd definitely go back if I were ever in Edinburgh. Highly recommended

My wife and I decided to have breakfasts at Rabbies’ Cafe in Edinburgh, prior to our day trip. While it was bustling, the guys behind the counter were friendly (particularly Aussie Peter) and worked magnificently to serve everyone prior to their heading out on the road. Commonsense says if you are departing at 9.15am and you are requested to be there by 9.00am, it is probably worth getting there at 8.30am if you want to be fed. It is not a place where you can expect to sit and have a leisurely breakfast. If you want that do it at your hotel, this is a fuel stop, get in, get food, get out and hit the road. In saying that we arrived at 8.00am, ate, sat, and also took the opportunity to chat to a number of other travellers. Great start to a wonderful day and recommend it for hat it is.

I think calling this a café is a bit of a stretch. It's more like a convenience store. The food that they did serve was just ok and there was hardly anywhere to even stand. We got there 45 minutes before our tour and we had to stand the entire time. I would have eaten at my hotel, but I was afraid the service would take too long. The fact that I had a so-so crossiant and coffee and had to stand the entire time is the reason I gave such a low rating. There was not much on the menu that I would have eaten and it certainly wasn't cooked there.

We had four different tours booked with Rabbie's and made a point to stop into their cafe each time before boarding our coach. The fast service, good prices and convenience when you are waiting for your tour to begin make this a great place to start your day. My favorite was porridge which came with a wide choice of toppings. It was creamy, delicious and really filled the hunger gap before the first lunch stop on any of the tours. With a flat white coffee or Americano, you are all set to begin a wonderful day with Rabbie's tours. Lots of options, hot and cold, many yummy baked treats, along with a good variety of hot and cold beverages. Friendly, fast service, but this is not a large cafe so be prepared to stand at a central counter if busy, After the main rush of morning tours departs, however, there is ample space at the small tables.

Steht nirgends. Also am Tresen bestellt. Es dauerte 50 Minuten für "fast food". Alles etwas klebrig, keiner hat gefragt, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Fish u Chips waren naja, Burger war ok. Insgesamt so gar nicht unser Ding.
