Fantastic chippy,great people,fab fish and Chips, nicely set out restaurant lovely people who serve the tables,just a good all round restaurant we love going there

Since the renovations and the opening of the restraint, the guys still manage to delivery quality food in great surroundings. Keep up the good work and would recommend that everyone tries fish and chips from here at some stage in their lives !

We used the take away last night and bought two lots of fish and chips. The chips were literally amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal but struggled to finish all of the food as there was so much! We will bd back very soon but will share one meal between us. Highly recommended

Good service by young friendly young ladies, food fresh and plentiful. Did what it said on the tin and satisfied the family.

Used to visit this chippy quite often when it was just a take away, and was always good, but visited not long after they expanded to a restaurant, ordered two large chips, two large fish and mushy peas, the peas only come in one size, small, and they charge large portion price, got the food home and was gobsmacked, the large chips were well, a handful of them and the large fish were insultingly small, the only redeeming thing about the place is that they didn't quibble when I took the food back and ask for a full refund, I can understand prices going up slightly when a business tries to make it better for the customer, but doing that and reducing portion sizes is basically just ripping your customers off.

I would thoroughly reccommend this. Perfectly cooked and served fish and chips in clean, pleasant and simple surroundings. Can't wait to go again.

As always John Dory’s Quorn (Previously Quorn Catch) delivered quality fish and chips, both in the restaurant and also as a take out. There may be a slightly smaller portion but the use cardboard boxes is a great change. Instead of getting home with the take away and having to peal the meal off the paper, it’s now fresh and not wet/sticky. The restaurant is very nice and now you can even have a beer or wine with your chips which is novel! The OAP deal is brilliant value. Great work guys and would certainly recommend to anyone to try.

We’ve used this as a takeaway both before and after it moved from next door. I think to charge an additional £1.50 for sides such as mushy peas is wrong (equivalent of a small pot) Bread and butter is another £1. It’s nice food, but not cheap. It’s a shame as the restaurant and service is very good but our “extras” added over £10 to the bill for a table of 5. Rothley also has a restaurant and the sides are included, chips are bottomless and you get gherkins....all in the price. Please review this as it lets it down and makes it once in a while treat. Strangely it also doesn’t have a telephone to book a table, you just turn up. We didn’t have a problem getting in but if you did, I’m not sure you’d return. As a takeaway the portions have shrunk significantly since it moved.

Amazing fish & chips along with all the normal alternatives. The two brothers come from a great family fish & chip shop which I used to travel for in Loughborough however they are now set up in our village. They have just opened a restaurant to the shop which we are yet to try however I know from looking it will be good - well done boys great job.

Very nice set up with the restaurant at the back and the take away in the front. However the portions have reduced dramatically and paying £1 for a small pot of curry or peas really. Tried them twice since they opened 1st time the chips were cold and under cooked and very small portion in a cardboard box. 2nd time the portion were still very small. Not really value for money. Sorry will be going back to Shelthorpe as they still dispense proper portions at a reasonable cost.

No more queuing on Station St for your fish & chips - the new location just next door is much larger. It has a nice big serving area and a spacious, attractive restaurant. They have only just opened but this promises to be a great destination eaterie in the Quorn area. The fish is good as ever and the staff friendly and efficient, but now you can eat in comfort while enjoying a drink as well.

With efficient and friendly service, spotlessly clean facilities and an excellent quality of food this I cannot recommend this fish and chip shop highly enough. The only downside is that due to its popularity you do sometimes have to queue, but trust me - the short wait is worth it!

Fantastic quality fish cooked to order so it’s always hot when you get back home. Chips are spot on as are the pies. Likewise the service is fantastic, always made to feel welcome. Consistently superb!

Always delivers the best fish and chips we have had, after trying many chippies in the area. It’s a firm family favourite and would certainly recommend. Parking available in the village and looking forward to trying out the adjacent fish and chip restaurant when it opens.

Food is always hot and freshly cooked. Superb chips and fish in flour not batter is my choice and is superb. Can't wait till the restaurant is open in Spring. A great take away.

I have my fish breaded for health reasons, and it’s always really crispy and delicious. Best fish and chips around, regularly drive past three other fish and chip shops to get here. Can’t wait for the restaurant to open! Keep up the good work boys x x x

Great Fish and Chip shop in the centre of Quorn, always good freshly cooked food. The loyal customer base tells you all you need to know. Excellent.

Place was very nice, looked clean and posh inside, staff nice and friendly, however portions not massive, also a little greasy. Have had nicer chips from other places, not sure if I would return.

Always enjoy placing my order, as I arrive (this is the normal practice if you are ordering the starred items on the menu, such as cod, cod roe, etc). The fish is so freshly cooked, in a wonderful batter and is truly delicious. I have been numerous times and this family run business is professional and convivial, offering true quality. The portions are very generous and I find that a small fish and small chips is enough for me. Fridays are extremely popular where the queues can be longer, but the service is slick and efficient! I like to try other early evenings, so that I can get my hands on the best 'fish and chips' that bit sooner!

Having had fish and chips from here since they opened, I can honestly say that we have never ever had anything to moan or complain about in relation to the food we have had. Every meal has been great and think we have ran through...

Perfect fish & chips served with a smile. We had the cod which was fried on arrival - only a few minutes wait but worth it. The chips were equally as good.

Called in on the way home from a long drive and it was a welcome find. I'd heard good reports about the chip shop in Quorn but had never tried it. Crispy, tasty batter... beautifully cooked fish and perfect chips. Very quick service with no wait required which was great. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely be visiting again when I fancy a chippy night!

Found by accident when The White Horse was full.Good chunky chips and nice tasting,meaty haddock.Would visit again.Just needed more salt and vinegar.

I look forward to fish and chips here every time I visit Quorn ... it's become a ritual ... the fish is always so snow white and juicy and the batter as light as a feather ... as for the chips ... so plentiful and more-ish ... portions are very generous

I don't live in Quorn any longer, but when I'm visiting family I always pop in for the best fish and chips around, plus the guys are really friendly and professional

The guys here have done a great job to provide such high levels of service and quality of food in what is a simple meal.You will not.... I repeat, you will not find a better choppy in Leicestershire. Well worth a diversion to make a visit.

I absolutely love this place, I'm fussy about chip shops but they are doing something very right!It's just a shame they don't deliver as I now live in mountsorrel with a baby and don't drive! Whenever we do get fish and chips though this is the first place we think of.

If you want what can only be described as 'historic' fish & chips then there is only one place to head to in the Leicestershire area.Consistency basis of good fish & chips and Quorns Catch does deliver consistency.Driving by without stopping to try should be a criminal offence!Keep up the good work lad!

There is very little,to say other than how good the fish and chips are from here. The regular sight of a queue out of the door says all you need to know.

There is a fish and chip shop in the village we live in but we make a special trip every time to Quorn Catch as it's just so much better. I don't feel like I need to say anything else, no other compares.

Food has always been pretty amazing, great communication, lovely staff. Every time I have fish it seems to be dry, I would certainly return but I will pass on the fish

Pop in here regularly and the foods always great. Two chaps that run it are really friendly which makes you want to come back. It's really clean and modern which also makes you feel happy that your food is well cooked and clean.

Best fish and chips around run by two top fellas who know how to engage with their customers. Food and service excellent. Couldn't ask for better.

Usually top quality fish and chips, but for the second time in as many weeks we have been served fish from the dinnertime session. Will ask for fresh next time. Advise you do the same.

Fish & Chips 'aint cheap anymore but here they are, at least, pretty good. Fine for a quick and easy meal on those odd occasions, particularly when 'battered lightly'

What a shame. Wanted to enjoy The Best Fish and Chips ever, but was left feeling it's has more to offer. Have tried several times since and although improved slightly, still not the best I have tried. Might be the oil, not sure, but it has put me off for now. Please experiment, with batters and oils.

Had a craving for fish and chips so headed to Quorns Catch as they serve quality. My fish was freshly cooked and the chips were crispy and delicious. Even though I had a small portion there was plenty to share with a friend and my dogs. Well done guys.

I've been getting fish and chips from this place on an almost weekly basis for about 12 months now, and I've never had a less than excellent experience. Fish is always fresh and delicious with a light crispy batter. Chips are good, and service is always friendly, organised and prompt. Very well run, I would highly recommend, surrounding villages don't compare.

We ordered Saturday supper for 16 people. The order was correct, the food was hot, had been freshly prepared and they even helped to carry it to our car! The portions were large and the fish delicious. I'd rate this highly and recommend it as a place to get your fish and chips.

Nick and Dros always friendly in Quorns Catch and make you feel very welcome with every visit . Nothing is ever too much trouble to them in any combination of order you give to them! Keep up the great work!

I have been in the village all my life and my friends from all over to to eat and drink. Something for everyone with a lovely park and little shops.

We have lived in the village for 20+ years now and whilst it has changed through the this time, it still is a great little place to live and bring up a family in. People still greet you with a "Good Morning" when you see them in the street. There's loads of good eating and drinking places and also a good selection of local produce shops.I won't go on as the village is already at bursting point and would hate to attract more people as the amenities wouldn't cope lol

After trying no less than four beers all of which were so cloudy you could not see through glass any of them so ended up having a glass of wine....! Maybe cleaning the pipes might help eh.!!!!You cannot blame the barman or the waitress.......

I live in quorn and have done for 16 years. It's changed a lot and over the past few years it's got worse with all the big housing developments swelling the size of the village and bringing associated problems. The pubs attract huge crowds during the summer some rowdiness but could be worse. Having said that for the size of the place it has excellent amenities. 7 really good restaurants a few great pubs a brilliant convenience store doctors and a post office . It's still and only just surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely walks. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else
