We just happened to park in St George's Quay car park and stumbled across QSF and decided to have lunch before we went to the Maritime Museum. Warm welcome on arrival and we were lucky to get a table in one of the booths. The waitress said that they had only just started opening for Saturday lunches. Nice glass of house white wine and my husband had a bottle of local Lancaster beer. Lovely salmon salad and enjoyable hake with a seafood risotto. The starter was half price and selected mains were £12.50 which represented excellent value for money. Sadly too full for dessert. We had no idea at the time that the restaurant was #1 on TA and we could see why. Would definitely return if in the area.

I went here with my friend and I was not disappointed. The staff were lovely and very attentive. It was nice that we were given fresh bread and butter when we sat down. The offer is that certain starters are half price and mains are £12.50. it was quite busy so I think people were taking advantage of the offer as QSF is usually a place to go as a treat as it's quite pricey. The fish cake to start and the hake were both amazing!! My friend had the garlic bread to start and it was a very generous portion. Very nice place

The Brasserie

21/07/2019: As relative newcomers to Greek food we were delighted by the quality of our meals and the wine on offer.
27/06/2019: We shared a Meze dinner. We had the meat Meze, around 19 dishes. Coming out at around £40. In the end there was a lot of food so be prepared if you want to go for it. Highlights were the houmous, beetroot salad, mince in vine leaves. Pork skewers. Beef stewed. The restaurant is small so booking recommended. Lazarus is a charming and appropriately attentive owner.

The Lunesdale Arms

10/06/2019: Booked a table ony a few days in advance but were fortunate to be able to get in, at 6:30. The menu was appealing and the vegetarians in our party did have several options to choose from. The Scotch egg with black pudding in the coating was served soft and was deliciouse.Mushroom pappardelle was also good - not too much pasta so the ratio of sauce was just right.
07/09/2019: Friends of ours live locally and had recommended this restaurant after a couple of recent visits. As a result a group of 6 of us enjoyed a lovely evening meal.
