Quite Simply French in Lancaster

The food used to be so good here. Not any longer. Small portions at a ridiculous price. Also very very small Sunday roast dinners. Staff nowhere near as nice as they used to be. Much better restaurants!!

I have been coming to QSF for almost 20 years, for Dinner in the evening and the occasional stay over, and also for many Sunday Roast Dinners. Rob, Lowra and the team are so accomodating, and the service and attention to detail is always exceptional. Great menu choice and wine list in the evenings and his Sunday Roast Beef is awesome. When I am visiting Lancaster with my Mother she would be devastated if i took her anywhere else. I cannot recomend this Restaurant enough... superb !!

The food was good, but don’t get the prawns. They were pretty awful.

Ate at the restaurant. Great service, very helpful and accommodating as they put us on a ground floor table with disabled toilet access. The food was fantastic as well, all 3 courses were delicious.

Once again i am very happy with my service and food from your restaurant, everything about this place is spot on, the atmosphere is very relaxing and warming, the staff are very welcoming and polite, and the food is delicious. Absolutely beautiful rooms, service fantastic and the food is gorgeous. had the lamb shank with mash and kale, it was to die for. Will definitely be returning as one night wasn’t enough 💕

Wonderful to have a meal in the restaurant again, we really enjoyed our visit, ambience, food and service all top notch. The new decor and layout to meet govt guidelines is comfortable and stylish, hope to be back again soon.

First visit to QSF since my 60th birthday meal in October.Not disappointed!.Same high standards from Rob and his young team.Not even Rob playing with the fire alarm could put us off!!We had the sausage,chorizos and asparagus as starters.First class presentation and quality.Followed by the beef casserole and Guinea Fowl with dauphonois pots.A real culinary treat for a Tuesday evening in Lancaster!No room for puds but great espresso with cognac.A thoroughly enjoyable occasion.Will need to book soon for a follow up looking at the reservation website availability in the coming weeks.Rob mentioned he had two no shows the previous evening costing him financial pain and disappointment to would be diners trying to get a prized table!!With Rob sending both email and text reminders to punters this behaviour really is inexcusable.Keep up the good work Rob.Dave

A real treat to be able to go to arguably one of Lancaster's finest restaurants. It's a beautiful venue in a gorgeous location, the food is sublime, the waiting staff are friendly and accommodating and it's an absolute joy to visit. They even laid on a balloon, table confetti and a sparkler for my daughter's birthday.

We were really disappointed we are still in lockdown as this time last year we went here for a meal for my partner's birthday treat as we do most years. We ordered from the takeaway menu and was really impressed with the quality of the food. Just a shame we didn't have the lovely staff to serve it to us.Would highly recommend it. We both had the tartiflette which was chicken, bacon, mushroom, and potato in a cheese sauce with herb crust to start that was so tasty. Then I had the lamb that was so tender it just fell off the bone and I always love the dauphinoise potatoes and the roasted veg and my partner had the lobster. We both finished off with the sticky toffee pudding which was so yummy. Mmmmm. We even had two little chocolate-type truffles for after with coffee. Very impressed with it all. Can't wait for when it reopens again and we can go for the squiffy menu.

I've avoided QSF for many years. A couple of visits many moons ago where I ended up with food that was so over-salted as to be almost inedible left a (literal) bad taste in my mouth. Similar observations from friends over the years tended to reinforce that those initial impressions.Wind the clock forward and after a year of on-and-off lockdown my tastebuds were craving something new. So it was with trepidation I decided to give their take-away menu a whirl.The order for my partner and I was halloumi fries, pork belly starter, pork loin steak, lamb shank and Dauphinoise potatoes.Delivery to the boot of my car was quick and painless. On unwrapping I wqs impressed with the portion size....no-one was going hungry that night!. The halloumi fries were perfect, though a little more garlicky kick in the aioli would have been appreciated. The pork belly with supposedly crispy crackling was almost large enough to be a main course. The pork was nicely cooked, though I think that a stronger flavour pork was needed to stand out against the puy lentil casoulet. Perhaps wild boar or dial back on the lentils? The crispy crackling wasn't and was much closer to something that originated in Fort Dunlop, unfortunately.The mains were superb. My partner had the huge pork loin steak on a bed of savoy cabbage. It really was a lovely dish. My lamb shank was cooked to perfection and was everything that you could ask for from slow-cooked meat. Rich, decadent, unctuous with a wonderful mouth feel. Terrific! Finally, the potato Daupinoise was also superb.Overall I was impressed with the flavours, presentation, quantity and overall experience. A little tweak with the starters and this would easily have been a 5 star review. Finally, it looks like a good effort has been made to make sure the packaging materials are recyclable. Well done on that point!

Had a fantastic takaway meal for valentine's night. Food was really nice. Well packaged and arrive hot.

It’s not the same as being in the restaurant, but our take-away experience was excellent. Efficient collection- the owner, Rob, placed the sturdily wrapped dishes in my car boot at the appointed time, and the food was piping hot on arrival at home. Moroccan crab fishcakes were substantial and tasty, with subtle spices. The bouillabaisse was a hearty and toothsome fish stew, containing great chunks of salmon and white fish, mussels and a large prawn. The broth in itself was quite delicious. No room for a dessert, although the little chocolate bombs went down well! Thank you QSF for staying open for us- something lovely to look forward to and to experience, whilst we’re in lockdown.

Well thankgod in dark times!!!! The food was nothing but amazing, I could not recommend QSF enough to put a smile on your face, lovely starter followed by a stunning main... washed down with L&P.Thank you Robert and the staff Captain Roy and lieutenant Carli.

Each year we like to start our Christmas celebrations by going to QSF on Christmas Eve, but sadly the local Tier 3 restrictions meant that we were unable to do so this year. So we ordered a take-away - and we were absolutely delighted with it! Picking the meal up at the restaurant was easy-peasy, and the food was all warm and secure in sturdy cardboard boxes.. A mixed charcuterie starter, main courses of beef brisket and duck and a clatter of mince pies to finish with - all uniformly excellent and stunning value for money. We couldn't fault it! Thanks, QSF, for starting off our lock-down Christmas so well!

As we are in tier 3 and there is no where to go we decided to book takeaway to collect from QSF. It was beautiful.It was placed in the boot of the car and we drove sedately all the way home.We were not disappointed with the food. It was everything I have come to expect from QSF. So tasty. My mouth is still watering from the lovely food.What a treat for a Thursday. So happy we tried this. We definitely recommend this if you are unable to book in due to Covid restrictions.Thank you QSF

Treated ourselves to a wonderful Sunday lunch by click and collect. The meal was perfect, excellent tender roast sirloin of beef with the trimmings. All made even more special by the brilliant service. Hoping you'll be able to open properly again soon, but we will be ordering again soon.

As we are in lockdown we decided to book a takeaway and was not disappointed with either the cost or the quality. I had the Duck and my wife had the chicken, both of which were cooked to perfection. We also both had the cheesecake which as expected was lovely. All in all a lovely meal well packaged, we will definitely be ordering again.

We stayed in one of the QSF gorgeous rooms to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We also opted to dine in the restaurant on the evening of our special day and were not disappointed! Lovely food, lovely wine, lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. The best meal we have had in the UK for a number of years. What more can I say? We will be back when we are in the area for sure.

I’m really pleased to say that my wife and I have just finished a wonderful Sunday Lunch courtesy of QSF as part of their book and collect service under Covid rules. It’s always great to be able to support our local businesses but this came without any downside.The whole arrangement worked a treat, the food was super - very tasty and plenty of it. Certainly would recommend others to use this service in these difficult times.

We have been a couple of times before so when we got a rare Sunday of together we decide on lunch at qsf as always from arrival to leaving nothing is to much trouble and all COVID-19 rules were followed and explained also it was nice to see our son who is one the chefs thank you all for another memorable lunch

We ordered Qsf to go for Sunday lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious. Collection was quick and easy and everything was well packaged and ready to be served at home. It was brilliant to be able to have fantastic food at home with no effort! We will definitely be back!

Great food served in a relaxed environment by courteous staff. The wine list was very good to accompany an excellent menu. Probably an oversight on our part but we ordered a side of fries not realising our main came with dauphinois potatoes. Definitely recommend for quality food and drink

We have been having Take Aways from QSF since they started offering them earlier this year. Very easy pickup. So we have enjoyed restraunt food in our own home at the weekend. Excellent.

We love QSF and have been coming to this restaurant for years because of the great food and atmosphere. Our most recent visit was somewhat different due to Covid. We have eaten out at a few different places during the pandemic but QSF shone with very efficient and safe systems; track and trace when walking in, sanitiser before you entered the restaurant, tables screened off, guidance from staff (you get the gist). Well done QSF!

I have been visiting QSF for some time and it’s been such a shame to see how COVID has effected local restaurants like QSF , however they have adapted into a takeaway during lockdown and it is fantastic ! Restaurant food at home , it was easy to order and collect . It was hot and so tasty , literally amazing ! Please think of local restaurants during this time and give QSF to go service a try ! You will not be disappointed !

The best restaurant in Lancaster. Helpful, polite staff. The food is DELICIOUS. Theres a great selection of wine and liquers. Its one of a kind. The menu is quite unique and very different. We had a great time and we shall go again. Robert has done a great job since taking over. This is the place for a serious dining experience.

Tried the new take away for Covid. Wonderful meal beautifully cooked and presented for home consumption. Starter, main and desert. A wonderful treat. Easy collection with prompt service. Well packaged food.

My partner and I treated ourselves to a meal out at QSF for his birthday after 3 weeks in self isolation and before lockdown. It was also our first date out in months! We are so glad we chose Simply French; what a meal! Fabulous service by all and smiles all round. We felt very safe with the procedures in place for Covid; very well organised and carefully thought about. Well done! Decor is fantastic. We had a lovely table with birthday balloons, which was a lovely touch.Cocktails were amazing, especially the classic French 75 & espresso martini. Garlic prawns, Mussels & Steak. Our favourite restaurant in Lancaster and the food never disappoints. We enjoyed a great Wednesday night meal - Morecambe bay moules followed by steak, frites and salad for £20. This, in our opinion, was very good value. The restaurant feels very safe and food is beautifully presented. Staff are always pleasant and go the extra mile.

Booked this restaurant with rooms as a treat for my husband on his birthday. I let the restaurant know in advance and asked for a nice table( knowing that this is not guarenteed). We are not local, and as such opted to stay overnight. I chose the Ashton room. We arrived in good time to a very pleasant welcome, and we were given a pass for the car to be parked behind the hotel. We were shown to our room, with the very modern and convenient key code entry. We were also given a lovely bottle if prosecco to welcome us. Nice touch. On entering the room, we found a plate with two brownies and " Happy Birthday" in chocolate on the plate. I gave to say, I am not normally a fan of brownies, but these were truly delicious,and would give Paul Hollywood a run for his money. That was a really nice touch, as I wasnt expecting anything to mark his birthday. The room itself is superb. Set on two floors with views overlooking the river, a huge tv, nespresso machine with pods, a writing desk, an led sensor mirror, mini couch and armchair, toilet shower and large sink. Then the upstairs, complete with little led lights leading up the stairs, a bath, another huge tv and comfy bed. Dimmer switches, electric blinds...they've thought of everything. The meal. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection with dauphinois potatoes and red cabbage, husband had smoked chicken soup to start , followed duck. He ordered spring greens as well, but as the portions were excellent we didnt really need them. They had also sat us in a lovely booth as requested, decorated with stars and a balloon, again another nice touch. I couldn't decide on which dessert, but I opted for the " cafe gourmand" I think that was wat it was called...this was 3 mini desserts with coffee,simply delicious. A mini creme brulee, choc brownie and cinder toffee and choc ice cream, wow. Fantastic. Went to bed very content and full. I also had a lovely virgin french martini as I don't really drink. This morning we had a lovely breakfast sat by the window, and all food was delicious. The service throughout our stay was spot on.Attentive but not intrusive. I would definite recommend this place for a cosy,tasty meal and if you are planning a drink or two, push the boat out and stay the night.

We stayed for my partners 30th and the room was amazing. We went for dinner and that too was amazing, the best steak I have ever eaten! Will definitely be back. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and went above and beyond to make it extra special.

What a fantastic small river front restaurant serving fantastic food in a new atmosphere and with excellent staff.A little bit of happy hour joy between 5pm and 6pm with (some) half price starters and very small discounts off even fewer mains. Lovely fish cake starter and a cheese one I can’t comment on. Then a lovely fillet and (an even better) duck breast. Both with a combo of fries, dauphinois, asparagus, broccoli and parsnip. All delicious. Would have loved dessert but “substantial meal” rules earlier in the day made that impossible. Accompanied with a lovely sparkling French wine.Very, very good.

We had 3 rooms booked DBB for the day of my sons wedding. We were well looked after throughout, very friendly staff & nothing too much trouble. Due to the covid restrictions our tables had to be spaced apart but the staff had decorated them with balloons / candles & glitter, it was fantastic. Our waitress was great looking after all of our needs throughout, fantastic service. The food was very nice & we all had a great time

Great value for money on the early bird deal - although this does seem to have been brought forward even earlier due to the 10:00 curfew.Background music reached the end of the playlist - had to highlight this to staff as an evening without music does loose some of the ambience!Social distancing measures have been implemented very discreetly and one would think they had always been there if you hadn’t visited the restaurant before.Great selection of alcohol, including some fantastic champagne options.Probably the best place to eat in Lancaster!

1st class food, people and location, Lobster, fillet steak were excellent. The combination of feeling safe and relaxed was perfect. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary so special.

I have been with my wife a number of times over the years and I am always pleasantly surprised with the high level of consistency regarding the quality of food and service. We always receive a friendly welcome from the staff and both enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant.Can't wait to return.

What a fantastic experience myself and my partner had at this hotel/restaurant.The staff made us feel welcome from the second we walked in, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.The room was beautiful, the food was delectable and the service was second to none.We WILL be staying here again.

Good sized portions - we were planning on three courses but could only manage two! Quality of food was excellent.

We had the chicken & bacon gratin & charcuterie platter for starters. Mains lamb Bourguignon & pork fillet. All of it was delicious. Especially the pork and dauphinois potatoes. Very friendly staff. Lovely environment and atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.

Hand santizer at the door as you enter. Screens around the restaurant are discreet and look like decor. Staff all wore visors as PPE around the restaurant. Fresh bread and water provided on the table. Price of a glass of large large wine were in between £7.50 to £9. My sauvignon blanc was £7.50 and very tasty. They sell a good variety of non alcohlic drinks including low alcohol beer. I had the Smoked chicken bacon gratin to start - Potatoes, caramelised shallots, cheese + herb breadcrumb crust. Good portion , beautifully cooked chicken, crispy bacon and a beautiful cheese sauce. Side salad a good size and tasty. For the main I had coley fillet - Sweet chilli orange butter sauce + fricassee of steamed greens and char grilled tiger prawns. Fish was beautiful, the sauce was a bit like a broth and was very tasty , I asked for a spoon so I could have it all. The tiger prawns you have to de shell but they were so tasty and you are given a towel to clean your hands. The main came with dauphinoise potatoes, they are beautiful and you dont need a lot of them as very rich.Half price on starter so £4.25 and £14 for main - this is in between 5 and 6pm only. The food and service was incredible throughout. Could not fault it. Just to note as I know QSF are known for their lobsters and oysters that they are not currently available on the menu.

We went the day after lockdown was lifted (July the 4th) It's a great place to eat and to stay. Terrific evening meal, superb rooms and breakfast too. Easily the best meal I've had this year.We'll be back as soon as we can.

Visited Monday before 10pm restrictions applied. Our booked table was ready when we arrived. Tables had screens between but being clear didn’t feel hemmed in. Restaurant was busy which was nice to see. Food was very good and nut allergy catered for. She was advised against a dessert she would have liked. We had an enjoyable evening and will visit again when in Lancaster.

We had dinner and stayed over at QSF at the first opportunity once it reopened (substitute trip for France LOL). The staff, food and room were all fantastic and to top it off we didnt even realise that there was a package deal on. A nice touch to have a bottle of fizz in your room on arrival. We will definately re book here.

As always thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous dinner and had the added benefit of staggering upstairs to a lovely room. Beautifully designed and super comfortable. Staff extremely attentive and friendly- really cannot be faulted.

Firstly can I just say WOW I love the restaurant more now than I did before QSF made the changes – I am so impressed at how QSF staff had everything running very smoothly and that’s amazing to feel normal in this crazy world.Thoroughly enjoyed a few cheeky pomegranate fizz cocktails before we ate. My salmon was amazing – in fact all the food and wine was scrumptious.

The title of this review says it all about this place - its a hidden gem.Myself and partner booked the night away and we stayed in the Ashton Suite. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our room.The room was probably one of the nicest places i have ever stayed in - it was on two floors, lovely river view, spacious, clean, massive comfy bed and i even got to watch the football in the bath! We booked if for my partners birthday and they had made her a brownie with a birthday messsage.We then dined in the restaurant in evening which again was outstanding - excellent service...the food was delicious. When reading or writing a review on a place on tripadvisor you are always looking for a negative however there are no negatives on this place and i would recommend it to anyone

Had a wonderful meal to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The welcome was warm and inviting, the service was excellent and the food was beautiful. It is a meal that we will never forget and we will 100% be returning to try some different dishes!!

Absolutely lovely restaurant, great French music, lovely staff. I had the snails and steak, both of which were cooked to perfection, along with a lovely wine list (including some very nice desert wines). Three glasses of wine (one with each course) and food somehow came to under £50!!! Incredible value, go now.

It was lovely to be able to get back to QSF, and the Covid measures made us feel very safe. I have visited many restaurants around the country since re-opening and this is the one that I felt safest in. Plenty of space and screens between tables.The food, drinks and service were great, as always.

A beautiful restaurant and boutique hotel tucked away on the picturesque Lancaster quayside . The area is steeped in history and perfect for a walk and explore. The rooms at QSF are stunning, luxurious and comfortable. The food is out of this world. The service is superb and it’s not wonder this restaurant and hotel have won award after award. Highly recommended

It was few weeks since I visited this restaurant during the “new normal’” & since I’ve been, I can’t stop talking about it. Firstly I had an excellent meal & I’m never disappointed. The service even during these times is fab. Well done everyone. If that’s not enough it’s the restaurant I rate as best at Covid safe procedures. Even sanitiser on the table. Not only have they made it Covid safe, the restaurant had been refitted & its looks lovely & Covid stylish. It’s my top restaurant to visit in this area.

I was really looking forward to my Sunday lunch and decided to go with the beef dinner, even though I’m not keen on very rare beef. However, we were given the choice of how we wanted our beef which seemed strange. After our starters we waited nearly an hour for our main course. When it came we couldn’t cut through our roast potatoes, the centres were soft but the outer skin was hard. The beef was ok but looked as if it might have been cooked individually. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt and the veg looked like frozen veg. I had the ice cream desert with honeycomb and the honeycomb was burnt too. However, our companion who had fish and sorbet said it was good. Maybe it was just a ‘bad chef’ day!

Delicious food with an excellent range of choice that even gave the vegetarian/gluten free member of our party of four a choice. We had a very relaxed time and felt very safe. Thank you for such a pleasant evening.

I was dropping my daughter off at University the following day so we decided to have a lovely evening out to celebrate. Given the recent restrictions and current situation it had to be a treat but delivered safely. The restaurant Is small but perfectly formed, with beautiful plush booths and plenty of space between them A warm and cosy atmosphere with welcoming, friendly and helpful staff and patron. Our food was beautiful, we really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend the restaurant, it would be perfect for couples or intimate family dinners.

I’ve just returned from a great stay at QSF. From the friendly welcome on arrival, every aspect of our visit was amazing. The beautifully furnished Ashton suite was so stylish and comfortable, and every facility provided. Even Champagne.We enjoyed a special celebration dinner. The food was perfect, good ingredients make good food and the chef here knows how to produce delicious dishes. We really enjoyed our evening. This restaurant has a lovely ambience.After a great nights sleep, our breakfast was also excellent, great selection served by very pleasant waitress. Thank you to the team. We had a great time.

We can not fault QSF !! The meal was cooked to perfection...the staff were attentive...social distancing and cleanliness was impeccable...As for the room ...all I can say is BEAUTIFUL.....thank you QSF for an amazing experience !! We will be back !!

My absolutely favourite place for date night in Lancaster. Quite simply squiffy nights are good value for money but you miss out on a nicer menu available on other nights.

Visited for the first time since Covid although we had take away meals in the early pandemic days. But nothing beats going to a stylish restaurant, being waited on and served wonderful food. As mostly vegetarians we sometimes struggle but not on this occasion, the cauliflower soup was silky smooth and flavourful, the puff pastry tart with Mediterranean vegetables was cooked to perfection and the cafe gourmand dessert, which we really shouldn’t have eaten, was just luscious. Had to walk home to pretend to be virtuous.

We decided to visit 'Simply French' for an early dinner, I must say we were impressed. Unfortunately all good restaurants have suffered due to the Covid 19 closures but when things return to normal, I would have definitely go again.

We have dined at QSF many times and the food is always great. In these difficult times the staff have made a successful effort to make dining a pleasant and safe experience. They are always welcoming and attentive. The meal was well worth the visit and we will have no issue with returning.

Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Really enjoyed all our meals, clear measures put in for covid but didn’t hamper the experience at all. Will definitely be back.

Great sunday lunch. Went to celebrate birthday. The roast beef was perfect. Just the right stage of pickness Crispy roast potatoes and tasty gravy. Yum yum.

We booked this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and we had a table booked in the restaurant. On arrival we loved the location but noticed the front door was boarded up. Check in was smooth and quick and we were shown to our room Gillow. The room was stunning, the furniture, trinkets, cushions, chandelier etc. There was literally nothing to fault.We arrived at the restaurant a little bit earlier than we'd booked but our table was ready complete with balloons which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and professional and our orders were taken quickly. Starters arrived and they were delicious- frogs legs & chicken with bacon gratin. Shortly after our mains came - fillet steak & pork loin, I'm not really sure why but we were disappointed it was clear the quality of the food was excellent but somehow it just didn't taste as good as it looked. Breakfast on the other hand was perfect and we had the window seat which was great. I would like to try the restaurant again as it is so highly recommended and perhaps we were just unlucky on Friday but I'd probably look for one of their DBB deals as otherwise it is expensive. Overall a fantastic a nights stay in a beautiful room.

A very popular restaurant so make sure you book well in advance. In a nutshell, we had a good table, good service, good food and drink. And that all added up to a very good night.We arrived early so we could enjoy a cocktail at our table before ordering our meal. Thankfully our table was free to allow this but if it hadn't have been, there was always the pub next door. Our gin martinis were nicely made and served. I had mussels to start, my partner French Onion soup. Lovely, both of them. We decided to have a more expensive wine than usual and chose the Sancerre. It was worth it - nicely chilled and placed on ice for us. Lovely flinty flavour, a nice wine. I opted for the Colley fish and my partner had the salmon. The Colley was served with a very flavoursome light broth, packed with finely chopped vegetables. It really was tasty and the fish was light and flaky. Served with perfectly prepared potatoes dauphinoise.The menu was not extensive and indeed they had run out of chicken but not a problem. This seems to be the number one quality restaurant in Lancaster and is in a lovely riverside setting.

Great staff, great setting and simply superb food. I will definitely be back. I would say its the best restaurant in the region that I have eaten in.

Well worth a visit with top quality cooking guaranteed.We had the assorted meats to share as a starter which left us ample room for mains.I chose the Casserole/beef bourginion and er`indoors had duck-both historic!!Absolutely no room for dessert.Very adequate Tempranillo to accompany.What made it even better,Boris sponsored our evening which cushioned the bill.We added a gratuity to the bill on our card and was very impressed when our server told us that Rob,the owner pays the appropriate taxes to ensure they get 100% of the tip!!Bravo Rob.

We had a great room which was delightful. Our evening meal delightful and the dauphinouse potato terrific. Breakfast was the best we have had anytime before or after covid. Long may they continue to provide such excellence.

We booked for a bank holiday treat and my friends had been before but me and my partner hadn't . Oh my goodness me it was absolutely world class. I already want to return and eat again. The staff we're extremely helpful and very pleasant. They we're very accommodating with my gluten free diet and nothing was a problem. The food was very well presented and so flavoursome. ..

Oh what an absolute delight. Best meal I have had in a very long time but not only that;the service was impeccable. The french lady who served us was very attentive and knowledgeable. She couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be going back.

Felt very safe, good distancing but retaining atmosphere.The staff were all really nice, friendly efficient.The food was excellent, started with a spicy fishcake, very nice. Main course was lamb bourguignon, fabulous, rich, plenty of lamb really tasty and so so filling, could hardly move when we had finished.Will definitely be returning soon
