Queens Arms in Barnet

Arrived just after opening time on Saturday. Polite staff and enjoyable drink

Under New Management, Lucie Dallas. Queens Arms has only recently reopened and there will be no food until the kitchen is completed whenever that happens, hopefully soon and wish them the best of luck 30 September 2024.

I think we picked the wrong day to go! By 9pm the bar staff called last orders. Within half an hour our group were the last people still there, with the staff watching for us to leave. It got so uncomfortable that we all soon left too. I gather the pub is changing hands soon, and building work will start in September to enlarge it. A ad end to the evening.

Went to this pub for the first time Sunday with my young son and his friend, from walking in I was made so welcome by the landlord and all the locals, for the 6 hours I was there I had an absolute blast. Fantastic food and service second to none. What a credit to Barnet this jewel of a pub is. Thanks for the memories and see you all soon. Bertie holmfirth

Very pleasantly surprised by this pub! Inside it's really nice and bright, the staff were very welcoming, and it doesn't stink of beer. There's 2 good quality pool tables with tap and pay options (who carries coins these days?!), a dart board, and big screen TVs to watch the sport. Haven't tried the food yet but likely will next time I visit.

Excellent neighborhood pub near the cinema. The elderly play bridge, the young darts, the hearth burns. We recommend the macaroni and cheese and the Guinness. Suitable for the whole family.

We went on new year’s eve without pre booking. Firsly we were charged double as we did’nt prebook and that too without and receipt and secondly we got a seat at a farrr corner where the live music was not audible at all! Good thing is we got the food faster and we got a large tv screen, even though it was showcasing boxing whereas we entered the place to enjoy the live music!

We Visited the "Queens Arms" during our city trip though London. We had good food and a few nice beers and the staff was rly friendly. Next time when im in Barnet, i will visit you again^^ Greetings from germany

Nice bar, meals are moderately good

First time here, catching up with a friend. It's next to the Everyman cinema so convenient. Nice atmosphere - groups of older people playing cards which was nice to see. Lots of outdoor seating. Had a quick bite to eat which was fine. Pool table and several TVs available to watch. Excellent customer service.

Excellent pub had a sunday roast and watched the football, Very good for parking and we was looked after very well by Jamie

Lovely pub. Came here to watch football and have lunch. Great food, my partner had scampi and chips, I had veggie burger and chips. Both lush. We ordered the waffle and ice cream for dessert. Although it tasted nice it was very hard to cut. I gave this feedback to the bar staff (politely) not expecting in return. The barman thanked me and said he would feed back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later, we received a replacement dessert. The waffle was beautifully soft and delicious. Great service, lovely pub. Next door to the equally lovely Everyman. Do an early film then lunch.

Only let down was I was given a wine glass that had lipstick on it. Some of food was a little over cooked. Staff were lovely 😍

Popped in for something to eat before we headed back to the Midlands. Very friendly and clearly well run. Great service. Lovely burgers! Just what we needed for the end of our day in Barnet. We’ll see you again another day.

Another great meal, 24 of us went, every one enjoyed their meal service great, staff great and very helpful and friendly. Prices very good would recommend this to anyone definitely. Thanks for a great time

Everything is great - the location is very good - the inside of the bar is very clean, the hygiene is friendly, the staff is friendly, the burger is the best burger I have eaten in London, it is very successful - the drink prices are affordable, you should definitely visit

I came here for the first time when England played France in the world cup and I can not praise the service enough :) Jamie the manager was exceptional, he made me feel really welcome and when i was waiting at the bar for a drink he served me even though he was trying to host other people as well, he was always around to make sure that everyone was happy and that everything was OK. I'll definitely come back again especially if Arsenal get to a final :D thank you Jamie for your wonderful hospitality :) I will be back again for sure #Arsenal4Life

Jamie and the team at The Queen's Arms never fail to make you feel welcome and go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be. We've been coming in off and on for 10 years as a family, including on Christmas Day for a pre lunch drink and it's a special pub. Food is always big portions, hot and hearty, and service is always with a smile. Support The Queen's Arms if you can.

I enjoyed my visit to the Queens Arms which is located nextdoor to the Everyman Cinema. The staff, including the landlord, looked after us well. The pub hosts various events such as comedy nights in am effort to entice people out. It's a McMullen's pub and it was a shame the only had one cask beer on. However, this was kept well.

Me, my friend and my dog stopped here for a food stop whilst walking the London Loop. Staff were absolutely brilliant, couldn't have been better, so helpful and friendly.

Best pub in Barnet!!! The service was amazing, when I arrived the kitchen was already closed the gentleman behind the bar allowed me to get from the outside and eat in the pub. Plus they have a game's room including 2 pool tables and much more! live music, free parking... Owner and staff are very friendly!

Nice and clean, with friendly staff and a good choice of food. It's wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet. It's got a huge television which was showing a football match when I was there.

Was a tad quiet on the Friday night I went in but loads of space to sit and have a drink. Good selection of drinks on tap and plenty of outdoor seating in good weather.

A nice little boozer near the Everyman Cinema for a pre film drink or there's a Curry house near by too. The atmosphere was chilled & the lady who served our drinks was friendly & professional. All the staff here are friendly & make you feel welcome!

A nice spacious pub. The menu is small, but what was served was enjoyed by all. Very attentive staff & parking around the back. Oh, & cinema next door.

Stupendous service on a busy champions league final night. Shout out to the main man Hugo for making my night.

One of the best pubs you could visit. I've been to the Queen's Arms to play pool, watch the Euro's final with a large group of lads, to play cards, to have dinner with mum and dad, to sing my heart out at karaoke on a Friday, to quiz on the first Monday of every month and to watch the comedy night the first Wednesday of every month, and I've also brought lucky young women on dates to this fine establishment. It simply does it all! To top it all off the staff couldn't be more polite, attentive, helpful, and welcoming. Megan and Shane are stand out favourites of mine, always up for good banter. The governor Jamie isn't too bad either (if he didn't support Chelsea he'd be perfect). If you haven't already the Queen's Arms is well worth a visit.

We were staying locally for a few days and came across the Queens Arms, we were immediately made to feel welcome by Hugo, so much so we decided to stay, eat and have a few games of pool. Great food for a fantastic price. It can be quite intimidating going into a pub when you're not a local but we were made to feel really welcome, so much so that when we do venture back to visit London, we will stay in the area again and re visit here. Thank you Hugo.

Came here with friends for my 30th (two days before inside service was allowed). The team couldn't do any more for us from being available to take orders straight away, to giving out blankets, to making sure all guests were as dry as possible while they themselves were getting drenched by the rain! Even though all the team were great, Shane was the standout who made sure we were all having a great time. My fiancé was even kept happy as they had an outside TV to watch the football! The Queen's Arms also offers a selection of cocktails, 2 for £10 and a shots list!! Great food too!! Would highly recommend!

Extremely friendly staff. A few of us popped in after my mums funeral, and whilst none of us were drinking as we had to drive, they couldn't have made us more welcome.

Lovely, cozy pub with a caring atmosphere and friendly barstaff. Cheap prices for beer and food is excellent. Place is nothing short of what a traditional British pub should be. I will be returning and I implore the rest of you reading this to experience this place.

Easily the best McMullens pub in Barnet, and the only one that bothers to stock that brewery's Hertford Castle and Strongheart bottled ales.

I have only be here once so i really can't be that much of a critic. Opening up for lunch and they didn't have much but what we did get was great. 1 chicken curry meal one chicken burger meal and a desert

This is a really nice chill out spot. It has outdoor seating located at the front of the pub so you can drink, eat and watch the world go by. The food is lovely - complements to the chef, and the staff are really friendly and attentive. As the evening approaches the music comes on, karaoke commences and the atmosphere is still warm and welcoming. I'll be back! :-)
