Today I was served by a very nice young lady (Ashu) I want to say thank you for the Cortado that she prepared for me, it was very nice.

I was quite disappointed with my experience here. I came in really happy as I always do - I always make a big effort to be a kind and warm customer that brings a smile to the workers. But I felt the staff, one worker in particular, was not very kind and left me feeling a bit disappointed with the service. The space is quite nice and cozy, but the tables are all very wobble and feel a bit old. I enjoyed the Greek Yogurt with granola, but the americano wasn’t great. I would have been quite happy if it weren’t for feeling like I got the cold shoulder from the staff.

Bad customer service I just faced, no greetings.

I been there yesterday and think never come back anymore. I know i come back or not , it not big problem or big deal. But just want to say: The staff so VERY VERY rude , unhappy attitude with customer at the first minutes, straight away give me feelings so uncomfortable. i not come there and take your free drink. So at least trainning yiur staff a bit better than how they are now. We not asking anything for super services, just STANDARD.

Place is ok. Some sitting area inside and outside. Service not very friendly and slow a lot of a time.

I believe the staff work hard. However, the customer experience is not good at all. The staff never say good morning. Their manners are off and they have zero level of dealing with people. Every day is another situation that doesn’t go well. Please train your staff better to be happy and welcoming to customers and make them feel like it’s a good start to the day coming into Costa just like every other Costa.

The toastie bread was not toasted on both sides and when I sent photographic evidence of this,Just Eat refused to refund me anything saying the food was still edible.Very poor service both from Costa coffee & from Just Eat.

Been there for the past 4 years now. But since they change the staff everything went down!!! The staff are rude and the way some of them making the coffee is sooo bad! The queue is always longggg. I have seen staff members went to the toilet with their aprons couple of times it’s disgusting and disappointing that the managers didn’t say anything or training the team!!!!

Haven't been here before, first time today. Wanted to redeem the free cake reward they give for your birthday, Claudia (I think) was lovely and wished me a happy birthday and was kind despite it being busy

Wide variety of options to eat and drink. A lot of inside and outside seating.

My wife and I had a black Americano & Flat White a couple of days ago and it was the best coffee we've had for a long while. Definitely the best in any Costa and way better than Starbucks. Good comfy cushion seats by the windows too. We told the staff but adding it online obviously helps visibility.

I asked politely to use the toilet and then ended up having to explain in front of a large queue of people that I had disabilities because they said no to letting me use the disabled toilet, I have three disabilities, they were rude and it was degrading, disgusting, perhaps some disability awareness training and customer service training would be of benefit, I had a hidden disability lanyard and a hidden disability badge on my rucksack

Their service recently has become poor. I have been going to Costa for 5 years. But this outlet here has absolutely rude staff that carries an attitude of 100 pounds. Advice that the employer should’ve given to the most humble people working there-You get paid for that job do it with all your heart.

They should update the online openings hours , they are not matching whit the ones from the window and make the people going there in the morning and realize that is closed and have to wait another hour.

This store is at the best location and have very favourable opening timings. The ambience is good with well maintained washrooms which is passcodes protected (i.e., it’s only for the customers). The food and drinks are decent and the barista’s are not so well trained and tend to be a bit rude sometimes. I have encountered few trainees who were wondering with the till options while taking orders. (which is very fair as they too need to learn and serve) But there are a particular baristas who can tend to be a bit rude and unprofessional. I have been here numerous times and I wish to continue so as I live around here.

This is first time going to the Colindale Costa the manager was so discussing, i usually order coffee at costa and I'm happy I never order milkshake, it was first time, i didn't have idea milkshake is hot, i told her could you change it please i like to be cold but she said i need to pay for it, it's disrespect to the regular customer.

My experience was extremely horrible. The staff was extremely rude. They really need to learn how to speak to their customers. If the manager is reading this, please teach your staff to be more polite.

I am not sure about other branches, but this costa doesn't provide salt, pepper or ketchup that can be added on top of any sandwich, wrap or panini. (which according to me are such a common and basic ask)

I ordered a coffee. And I've received a cup of milk. Absolutely ridiculous!

I have not been in here once and have the staff be friendly. Always moody and not smiling. Today, I went to pick a drink and while I’m saying my order the staff is not even listening or making an effort to understand what I want. The Costa closest to me is closed and so I came here cos it’s the next closest. Not coming here again, pay your staff better or give them a better work environment.

The bacon role was over cooked and rock hard

Staff really rude. Service incredibly slow and the when serving told ‘not now’ when ordering and the when waiting for coffee, one waitress barged past me to get into the kitchen, could just ask….

Terrible customer service. My husband and I were told to leave over an hour before closing time for an ‘event’ which looked like it was just family members of staff without their children. Very rude and dismissive.

The wifi wasn't working, and the staff had some attitude issues.

The staff here are lovely. Quick and friendly service and valuing repeat customers. 2 black-2 white guys! ;)

And unfortunately it’s Wi-Fi always does not work.

On Thursday evening, I was served by Christian with a warm smile. He had lots of time and patience. As well as a great attitude and hospitality. A lovely face to see at the local Colindale branch. Thanks once again!

Drink are always cold and half empty

Friendly staffs Good food Great ambience (have option to dine-in inside and outside) The only thing I didnt see is any sign about pet allowed/friendly inside the shop however its allowed in the premises like outdoor dining.

This place has the potential as it is the only coffee shop with great outdoor and indoor seating options in Colindale. However, staff always talk among themselves (foreign language and very loud), they are not welcoming and do not care about customers at all. As a result, soooo slow serving. The food counter has lots of flies. And they are on the food as well! The food area is stinky and dirty overall. What a disappointment for Colindale with the high potential.

Staff are rude and struggle to communicate in basic English. Constantly getting orders messed up and confused. Would be fine if the staff were competent.

Not enough staff, always really chaotic behind the till leading to longer waiting time, poor quality of coffee and sometimes wrong drink served.

Hit and miss on getting your order correct

This place used to be good where staff was well trained to make quality drinks. Recently, new staff are not trained properly. Drinks are not meeting the taste, no quality for the money. The staff don't know what is extra hot always my drink is like warm like warm water its tasteless. They also lacking knowledge of green bean when corrected they don't like it. There's no smile or greetings when serving customers. I understand new staff need time but lack of proper training and if continue it will not change the way they make the drinks.

Ham cheese toastie was very small not much filling for the price. Coffee OK.

Staff here used to be good. I came in at 8pm and asked for a salted caramel Frappe and was told no because it was late (they close at 9pm on a Sunday). 10 minutes later the same server made two Frappes for someone else. Complained and got a free Frappe. All customers should be treated equally

Toasted sandwich didn't have much filling in it for the price. Was not hot. Coffee was OK.

Extremely rude! I went to request for a coffee a couple minutes before their opening time and was told to “Go away”. Nobody wants to start their morning on such a happy note.

Friendly and helpful staff who looked for fresh Belgian cookies for us, which we really enjoyed with our hot chocolate and flat white coffee. 😋

Surly staff, stingy Too Good To Go bag

Went there this morning, I ordered a small cappuccino and asked 2 times for chocolate on top, I got medium cappuccino, very bad made, like boiled milk and no chocolate. I am now out of 4 pounds and the coffee in the bin. Never again!

Despite recent events. Is Costa, it does what it says on the tin.

Today, I went to Costa in the morning for my regular iced coffee. However, I accidentally ordered a Caramel Latter instead of an Iced Caramel Latte. When I received my order, I realized the mistake and admitted it was my fault for not being clear enough. Despite this, Maria, Marius, and Amy happily changed my drink to an Iced Caramel Latte without charging me any extra money. Marius even said, ‘WE WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR MORNING COFFEE.’ It was such a nice gesture, and it’s evident that they care about their customers a lot. They went the extra mile today. Thank you again for all your hard work and for bringing a smile to your customers.

Andreea served me and was unfriendly and unwelcoming with an attitude. She didn’t acknowledge me, say hi or even smile when I approached the counter. Not coming here again, workers are always cold. 29/07/23.

All orders were fine except the cheese toastie which I ordered but I received the ham toastie instead. And I am a muslim I don’t eat ham, I call the shop but no one picks up.

Honestly, I go there because there is nothing else in the neighbourhood and bartenders are nice and gentle... but oh boy... the coffee is almost always burnt and everything else is basically tasteless and sugar less and I'm no sweet tooth...

One star off because the brownie was missing from the order

This is my third cup of coffee in the last week which has been leaking from the bottom. Half the cup leaks on my desk without me noticing till I lift the cup. Have this sorted and get rid of your new cheap cups.

Food was late, had large blocks of ice in the cup and spilled all over the place so did not get what I paid for; nor could I enjoy it!

The wording "hot" chocolate should give the staff a big hint, so please stop serving it up tepid. I had a chocolate orange that was so lukewarm I was able to down it in a minute. Perhaps you can get in touch to explain why this is the second time it's been pointed out on a review. My second visit today - realised I couldn't see the drink choices behind the servers because of my sight disability, none of them helped me. They looked baffled. Make yourselves disability friendly at this branch.

I ask them for takeaway hot chai latte and I turned to take one juice for my child and the staff called my order rady when I out of shop and drink asip from it was cold they sell me some one else leftover😡

I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Order was wrong, staff were unable to understand English well, & a hostile environment in general.

Not the best Costa I've been in to cramped even at quiet times no atmosphere and the toilets are disgusting

A decent size shop with plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and hardworking. The toilet were clean. Did not eat on this occasion, but there is plenty of choice. As I have since discover, Costa charge 45p for oat milk. A bit expensive in my opinion.

Missing seven pounds worth of items and frappe was spilt / wrong too. Very disappointing service.

I was pleased with the behavior of the workers in the cafe, they were joking and laughing with the customers, and this is a wonderful thing.

Staff very Rude! Asked for two drinks, and serving lady huffed, and rolled her eyes! Then 5 minutes later, ordered another drink, and she huffed again!!! Turned around, and started speaking her own language to her colleague, very rude! There was no cinnamon stick in my tea though it should be according to the description. Horrible!

Cake portions are very small for the price charged. Also it is very unfair for those who have milk allergies and have alternatives like soya etc, are charged more! Costa please do something about this.

Whoever made the frappe need to be trainers again! It was like I was eatting my drink and it didn’t taste like a normal chocolate fudge brownie mocha. And the salted caramel was too watery!

i have visited this location multiple times however today,01/04/2023 was a disgusting service. the whole caffe is romanians who do not understand anything you say to them. there was multiple occasions when i asked for oat milk and was still given WHOLE milk. i popped in with my mum to get a coffee at around 11am and the stuff were rude, unhelpful and just looking miserable. i used to be a shift leader in caffè nero and that is unacceptable. Didn’t call out our drinks, no smile absolutely nothing. i regret wasting money. i also got some percy pigs and the lady said no and i thought she said that to me but as usual, conversing in romanian in front of customers.Fighting at the till because they can’t communicate. it’s so embarrassing.AVOID

Updated: The problem with students taking up all the seats and sockets has been solved, by removing almost all sockets... So you will only find some at the entrance. Being a local in the area, I can tell this is one of the few places that have their own Wi-Fi, without blocking ports. Staff changes every once in a while, but overall they are not rude or disrespectful. Don't expect them to wish you good morning every day but they get the job done, that's the important part, they are fast at serving. The tables arrangement is quite weird and uncomfortable for customers who walk by, but I suppose they just want to take the most space as possible. There is a cozy sofa area at the end.

Great place, quick service and wonderful coffee

Check your coffee when you buy there. Today my order was incorrect and instead of a medium Late I received a small, when I told them that it was wrong instead of making me a new drink they just put the small drink in a medium cup and topped it with hot water. Not only did I nearly burn my mouth but it was watery and disgusting! I returned and gave the drink back, no apology or anything from the person who made the drink, instead they said we can make another drink as if they were doing me a favour. I kindly refused and will not go there again as this attitude is not the first time as I was a regular.

I needed code to use a toilet... Which didn't work anyway.

Food was dry and cold. Delivery man was very nice and on time.

The staff doesn't have the good will to solve the doubts of the costumer and it seems that they don't have the patience to attend to the public. Coffee doesn't meet the chain's standard and it feels like they're doing you a favor.

One of the prettiest Costas I've been to. They have very nice interior design, low and normal chairs. Not many couches. Good selection of food. They serve babycinno.

Ordered a cheese tomato toastie through uber eats. Was sent Ham and cheese. Can not eat meat. Hot chocolate also spilt everywhere.

Very bad customer service it was pouring with rain diana unlocked the door and didn’t open it. The staff don’t say good morning and has a very bad attitude. None of the staff have been trained well none of them offer a good service if you compare with other branches this branch is a big let down be prepared for a bad service
