Quality Hotel Coventry in Coventry

What a lovely beautiful gem. The rooms were cosy, spotless and a nice size. The reception staff were very efficient and polite. This is my second stay and will visit again. I truly recommend for a 3 star hotel. One of the nicest places in Coventry

Great value for money, clean room and comfy bed and convenient as there was a room we could stay in with our small dog. I will use this hotel again when in Coventry.

Just stayed overnight and what a pleasant Hotel! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are warm and clean and recently refurbished and the food is great value and delicious. I cannot understand why anybody would leave a negative review!

This is a cheap and cheerful place. Suitable for what you pay for. Poor maintenance telephone was not working in the room drain was not free flowing so showering with water accumulating at feet level. What was surprising we had to pay for parking too. Breakfast was not value for money. The bare minim um was offered compared to other establishment but charged the same price. But it did the job as needed some where near the business meeting I had.

Stayed for 2 nights with work. Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Dated carpets and decor, no wardrobe, just a shelf to hang clothes on. Feels like lower budget (with the greatest respect) than a Travelodge but at around twice the price. The room at the front of the hotel was directly facing the dual carriageway which was about 20 metres away. That plus the poorly performing double glazing had the effect of every car whizzing by feeling like I was sat on the hard shoulder, such was the noise level. Paper thin curtains did nothing to blockout the noise or the near 5000watt street lamp shining directly into my room. The paper thin walls did nothing to deafen the noises from guests in other rooms or in the corridors. Consequently I had a very poor night's sleep and woke-up feeling terrible. The restaurant was poor, the menu very limited and the decor and atmosphere was depressing. I felt the need to get out of there quickly or I may never leave. Felt like I was on death row. I found myself staring wistfully and longingly across the dual carriageway at the Windmill Village Hotel directly across the road. The people; smiling, happy to be there, enjoying their time, content, peaceful and appreciated and in nice surroundings. 'Sigh'. I stayed here for two nights. After the first night I even considered leaving and paying to go somewhere else at my own expense, just so I didn't have to suffer again this awful place. The hotel feels unkempt, unhappy and unloved which is how I felt when I drove slowly away...

Recently stayed at this hotel, big car park, lovely staff. Clean room, comfy bed the only downsides were how hot the room was - heating was on in the room even tho it was the middle of June, window does not open enough to provide sufficient airflow, the saving grace was the fan in the room which we had on all night. Room was slightly dated also however nice and clean and all amenities worked fine!

Rooms all recently updated, clean and faultless, everything works as expected. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food is exceptional, menu changes a bit daily for some variation. Stayed a few nights now for a few weeks and can’t pick fault. Perfect for a no frills couple of nights

Stayed overnight here while on my trip with caladonian travel, it was lovely here great staff great service and beautiful 3 course meal

I saw better rooms at construction sites and this claims to be a 3 star hotel. Rooms was old, smelly and half of the sockets didn’t work. Bathroom was the worst - it’s a wet room with no shower walls, so after 5 min shower EVERYTHING is wet and you need to stand on a water covered floor or on a pile of wet towels. The bathroom itself is dirty and the water pressure in the so called shower is non existent - probably because higher pressure would mean water would spray on the walls and the whole room would be wet. The shelf is a risk hazard that is badly installed and all my items fell into the sink while I was brushing my teeth - I had to clean everything. No electrical sockets in the bathroom, no proper shampoo or conditioner and what is classified as soap and shower/hair gel is served via badly installed dispenser that are another risk hazard. I’m now reporting this place to our travel agent to makes sure it’s taken off of the list of approved accommodations for our company. And they dared to charge over £100 for this filth. Unbelievable

This is a reply to the 1* review left by MARK COCHRANE....You are a LIAR, you NEVER stayed at the Quality Hotel in Coventry. When you were supposed to have stayed there, the hotel was closed for renovation, in fact it has been closed to the public for two years. You tried to stay there but was told, very politely that it was closed so why are you leaving FAKE reviews. We have been using this hotel for over 10 years for our annual Veterans reunion. The staff are wonderful and friendly, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and very well decorated. The food is all cooked fresh and very tasty. The menu is extensive and the breakfast is something to look forward to. I hope people read this and realise that your actions in giving your FAKE review that you were acting vindictive. You must have a very sick mind to stoop so low as to try and ruin a great hotels reputation.

After reading other reviews and seeing the 3 star rating, I had my reservation about this hotel, so I thought I would make my judgement after my stay. The room (50) was spacious with good amenities, even had a trouser press, which is rare in hotels with only a 3 star rating. There is also an iron for shirts and other items. The room was cleaned every day, again I was very impressed with. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help. The breakfast had a good selection, fruit cereal, continental, and cooked to order full breakfast. The restaurant is spacious with a personal layout, the menu does lack a great choice, but what is available is great for a quick bite. I would definitely stay here again. My only gripe is you do have to pay for parking overnight £5 it's a small price to pay for this Hotel. Thank you for the nice stay. 5 nights.

Have just had a fabulous weekend at the Quality Hotel Coventry, we were here for a near by conference, staff are so nice and helpful, can't do enough for you, had a lovely meal in the restaurant, quick Uber to the centre, clean room, will definitely come again, manager is a lovely lady

Was a regular user of this hotel until i got refused booking as they have filled up the place with illegal immigrants

I was at a wedding there with my partner & family, it was fantastic from our arrival, through the ceremony, all throughout the afternoon & evening, the staff were very friendly, helpful & professional, I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding venue

Nice cheap but clean hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfirtable beds. Clean linen. Good location on A45. Good car park.
