Without doubt the most delicious food in Brum…. QBox is an absolute winner, Dan’s talent is out of this world. Highly recommended. Travelled all the way to Harborne to try this place out due to all of the good reviews. Arrived here at 3pm and the shop was shut, despite the sign in the window and the online opening times being until 5pm.

Dan is so talented and to get Michelin style food for a reduced price and the quality of food is amazing. Try it you won't be disappointed and you can dine in now too.

Unreal Hangover Chicken Burger. Tasted amazingly fresh and the flavours were amazing. Definitely recommend!

Dan is awesome - so welcoming and friendly. We've had everything from choco cruffins to fried chicken burgers from him, and everything has been incredible. Dan is a lovely guy, often throws in a free dip or dish for free. We recently had the pastrami sandwich and fried potatoes - incredible - we couldn't wait and ate everything in M&S car park! Honestly couldn't recommend more, love that our dog is welcome to come in and wait with us! I'm definitely booking Dan for our wedding catering!

Always walked past this place and never exactly knew what it was. But a whim visit to this ‘fast fine dining’ takeout left myself and partner talking about QBox the whole day later. We each ordered a ‘cruffin’ and loved that it was made to order, not to mention super delicious. The price point is also amazing for what they’re offering. Cannot wait to properly try their fried chicken burger and the rest of the menu. My only criticism is that the shopfront is somewhat confusing and I worry it puts people off from finding out what’s inside. I don’t mind having this secret gem on my doorstep but it’d be a shame if it didn’t get enough business.

Probably the best food I've had in a long time and they do vegan and vegetarian options. But omg the cruffin is just amazing. Super gourmet. A bit pricy though but I think it's worth it.

Very good food served in this restaurant. The open kitchen offers a very nice view on preparation. Products are fresh but missing a bit of balance for the cheese balls. A few seatings inside are available.

Best Food in Harborne! I just bought my wife a desert from XBox during the Harborne Carnival and she said it was the best dessert she'd ever had. We've eaten from here on a few occasions and we're always met with a big smile and brilliant service.....as well as great food!

High-end cooking without the usual high-end furniture. Top-level chef skills and top-level ingredients.

Such amazing food. Brilliant menu choice. The chicken is something else. The Sunday lunches are also incredibly popular, we will be returning for them. Do buy a sourdough loaf, they are excellent. Hot chocolate is always a delight from here too: home made marshmallow!

I'd take a picture of the food but it was so thoroughly and utterly delicious that we ate it immediately upon sitting down. Q-Box won't be around forever - it is far too good to be confined to a single storefront on Harborne High Street. Go in and meet Dan and the team now - eat their food while they're still the ones preparing it instead of hopping across multiple stores training people in Q-Fu. It's by far one of the best take out experiences you will have and it's a great way of introducing children to foods and vegetables that they might be otherwise reluctant to try. Q-Box elevates the familiar to the sublime (try any of their fried chicken and potato based meals) and manages to turn less common takeaway foods into comfort food (the beetroot salad is a standout for example). Dan and the team are truly sticklers for details and committed to constant improvement. Anything I write now will be outdated in a month or two because they will have an even better version of that food by then. Whenever you stop in, whether it's just for coffee and a pastry, lunch, dinner, a loaf of bread, or to take a look I promise you'll be utterly delighted. My partner is a voracious eater with tastebuds second to none. She has literally said, "I dislike tasting menus, like Simpsons, because you can't eat enough delicious food fast enough". I cannot get her to slow down for a meal. When I brought home Q-Box for lunch today, however, she did in fact slow down. "I wish I had longer for lunch so I could savor this food more." What did we have? Salad - Beautifully presented, perfectly dressed. Made me reconsider beetroot. Potato and Leak Soup - You won't find anything that outclasses this in a sit down restaurant. Combined with fresh sourdough and butter, its a true powerhouse. Fried Chicken Sandwich - As a southerner from the US, I now have to go back and ask how he's made this. Stupidly good. Makes you realize how poorly people season their chicken batter when you taste each individual element (chicken, dresssing, bun, sauce, and seasoned crisp batter). Potatoes - You won't be able to go back to french fries with fried chicken after you've had Q-Box potatoes Brownie and Cruffin - It should be illegal for someone who cooks so well to also bake so excellently. If the vape store ever goes out of business they should just open up a seperate Q-Bakery next door. There are not enough reviews of this place because people are probably too gobsmacked by the food to remember to review it after they've eaten. Well done Dan & Team - keep up the outstanding work.

Fantastic food - had the chocolate filled pastry cubes (can't remember the exact name) and a loaf of bread. Both amazing! Had a great chat with the owner - very nice guy. Highly recommended.
