Punjabi Dera in Waltham Forest

I have been Dera so many times, but they have closed and changed to a different shop! I’m very sad..

Lovely traditional food and the naans made to order in their tandoor. Great range of curries and kebabs.

This place literally does one of the best curries, grill, bbq and even breads! We go there atleast twice every monght and thoroughly enjoy the food each time. we've tried almost everything on their menu and it's all great! the palak, biryani, mash daal, mix grill, and lahori fish is to die for! and the prices are the best! for so little money we can eat soo much very warm and welcoming staff

When going to Leyton Orient, I often meet friends here before the game. Having sampled pretty much most of the menu, I can state that I have yet to here ant complaints as the quality of the fare is nothing short of excellent In addition the prices are very reasonable and the staff are both friendly and most prompt with their service even when full. Bravo!!!

If you are a curry-lover, try this place. It's a small, simple take-away style place, kept nice and clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. I always choose to eat here when I'm in the area;- no restaurant formula style curries here - home-style cooking, each curry tastes different. Sometimes it's hard to choose... they also cook punjabi spiced fish to order, and the naan bread is made freshly by hand for each customer. Added bonus; it closes at 1a.m.! Wish I lived nearer, I'd go more often!
