Elachi in Waltham Forest

I live nearby and had been meaning to try this place for a while. We ordered a takeaway tonight of Lamb Shank Biryani, Trio of Chicken, Vegan Curry and a Garlic Naan. Wow - we loved it and the flavours blew our socks off. Lovely bold Indian flavours with lots of layers, not just hot. And it was more food than the 2 of us could eat, so a very nice lunch for one of us tomorrow too. Compliments to the chef!

5 star restaurant! Not only is this my favourite local restaurant this is probably my favourite restaurant for food! Just everything about this restaurant is great! From the owner, staff and always the best food! It never disappoints it’s always great every time! I always go with my husband and two children and the owners always make us feel welcomed and go above and beyond. Honestly I could come here once a week if I could! Definitely the best Indian food local and also in London in my opinion. I know there are other Indian restaurants that try and do it differently or a la carte but it’s never as good as this place. The quality of the food was poor , around just bearable . It’s clear they are trying to save money at the expense of food quality , would have been better off with beans on toast .
