Home cooked food... and good food... no fancy plates or anything but really tasty food. Ignore any low ratings as they are not being fair

Best punjabi paratha and somasa in Leicester.

Took out some sweets yesterday because we came to see Diwali festival in Leicester from Oxford. It was big mistake to choose this shop as Gulab Jaman and Cham Cham were fully dry and expired plus Milk cake and Gajrela did taste like lemon. Will never go back and will warn friends about this place.

This is quite simply the very best vegetarian restaurant in Leicester. The pani-poori, saag and makki ki roti, chapatis and vegetables are the best I have ever eaten in the UK. The owner, Sudhender Sudhir is a lovely man, knowledgeable about the culture of India/Pakistan and, when his wife is in the kitchen the food is noticeably better as she does not use as much oil as the hired chef does.

Disappointing thali and daal. Unsure about saag as couldn’t eat it as was so highly spiced. Couldn’t taste the spinach or potato. Not the quality I usually receive here. Will go to other Punjabi restaurants in future. 😢

Authentic and great tasting Punjabi food. This is a very friendly family run business that serves the best homemade tasting Punjabi food in Leicester, by a long shot. Not too much oil/ghee like most Indian restaurants, just good spices and great cooks! The menu is good, a wide range of dishes available for different tastes. Food was served fresh, and we didn't have to wait long at all! 8 of us were served with no problems. Tables, cutlery and bathrooms were clean. Friendly, quality and tasty food and a clean environment. 👌 And topped it with sugarless Punjabi sweets, they told me after they are sugarless! I had no clue!

Friendly, clean. The food was OK but not as good as other vegetarian restaurants in the area, and not as good as other Punjabi restaurants in Leicester.

The curries here taste so much more home made than the gujarati run tiffin place options around ...brilliant aloo gobi and daal really tasty and wholesome and the aloo parathas are better than homemade!!

I pre-ordered 100 samosas for a party. They were ready for collection as arranged and were very good. Great value too.

Nice place and nice food. Have eaten in and had take aways, never had any problems. Favourites include samosas, alloo prontih and lassi.
