45 min wait for order. In end got refund, they couldn't even get that right. No apology for wait. When we asked where order was after half an hour waiter left to check and never responded,

Visited last week with friends from scotland.Great food lovrly surroundings lovely frienfly staff. Will defo return whdn next at Southport.

Visited with husband and friends last week from Scotland. CARBONARA was to die for. Fajitas and baked potatoes were excellent as was the staff and the service. Will return on our next visit to Southport

Called for early lunch/late breakfast. What friendly staff and as good a breakfast as anywhere. Freshly cooked, locally sourced and well presented by friendly staff. Very clean and will become a regular place to visit

We stopped for lunch with family had burger and popcorn chicken and fish and chips was lovely friendly staff

Ordered so called homemade steak & onion pie with mash. Eventually got a tiny shop bought pie with pile of burnt onion and some sort of meat. Didnt get mash got chips. Told take back bring what I ordered. By the time it came pie was finished. Wasnt told they dont take cards my lartner paid cash. I would have told them to shove it. Service was very slow

If it wasn't for the slow service this place would be ideal. Reasonable price, good selection, clean with friendly staff.

This place is very reasonally priced , food was freshly cooked and arrived promptly , quite a good amount if choice of things like burgers, breakfast , chips, toasties, jacket potatoes , cakes, coffees ect...there was vegetarian options too and I think I saw children's portions on the menu too ....the place was clean , the lady owner who served us was pleasant but if she is reading this then please get a sign out front or some advertising to let people know the place is under new management again after a bit of a previous bad phase by some previous short term owners and hopefully some of the old customers will return and see that your offering a good little place to eat and drink .

We called in here today April 26th and got talking to the new owners who had literally taken it over a couple of days ago ' so its worth noting the awfull reviews from march don't appear to be related to the current owners ' anyway the place seems to have been freshend up and o have to say was spotlessly clean everywhere I could see ' the menus got a fairly decent variety on it including some veggie options and Quorn options ' so a bit of something for all tastes ...we had a jacket potato with beans which was tasty and plenty of it and also a cheese toastie on quality brown fresh bread with a little side salad which was also lovely and fresh ....the coffee was nice and overall I can't fault it and I would say it's good value ....it was quiet when we went in but I wonder if thats down to the previous negative reviews of the interim owners ' the new owner here seems really nice and I'd say definitely give it a chance we did and we found it a very pleasant lunch
