Prosperity in Havering

Stuck in between my guest's teeth, Had to wait an hour just to get food. Noodles came burnt, chicken was extremely dry, Overloaded onions and mushrooms in my order, Food had unimaginably disgusting smell when opening the containers/tupperware. A refunded has been submitted through Justeat.

The food was lacking flavour, sauces seemed watered down and our chowmein noodles arrived burnt. Unfortunately won't be ordering again as it was a disappointing meal.

Family take away last night, none of us enjoyed it,!!!

Beautiful food & great delivery

Arrived super quick and hot. Delicious chicken noodle soup and curry- really juicy bits of chicken and the soup had great intense flavour. Singapore noodle wasn’t claggy and had a great kick Delish

The delivery was delivered to the wrong address and was actually left outside the wrong address, after not receiving an answer from the door bell. The driver then returned to the restaurant to phone us and tell us that the food was on the doorstep. After checking outside no sign of any food, because the food had been delivered to the wrong address, ever though nobody answered the doorbell. As a refund offered 10% refund.

Great friendly delivery. food very hot but unfortunately it wasn't the best chinese I've had. Will go back to my normal chinese take away in future.

Food was hot and tasty, maybe lacking a bit of spice but I’d rather too little than too much. Not a massive fan of their crispy shredded chilli beef. But apart from that it was nice. Bonus that we ordered on Tuesday and they weren’t busy so it came 15 mins early 👌🏽

The food was awful! Went to the shop to ask for a refund, the woman came out from the kitchen and started shouting at me accusing me of lying . She told me do not ever come back to this shop again, we do not want your business.

Second Chinese takeaway in this area that I ordered chicken fried rice and received chicken boiled rice After I ate my meal I rinced my plate in cold water and it was completely clean with no oils presant whatsoever The chicken was very tasty but very sparce and I appreciate the two peas that the chef incorporated into the dish

Was meant to arrive at 19:15 and its now 20:18 and still no sight of the Chinese. First attempt at using them and the last! I have requested my money back! Will go back to my usual, reliable Chinese in future!

The soup containers were melted and deformed. Looked like from a microwave. Soup was all over the rest of the food. Other things were not sealed properly. Have requested a refund for what couldn't be eaten. we had a lot if cleaning to do before we could get at what was edible. By the time I'd taken the photo's that were requested and cleaned off the soup the rest of the food was cold anyway. I'm not prepared to chance microwaving anything as it's pretty clear that it already has been.

This was my go to chinese takeaway but last nights meal showed a real dip in quality. I dont know if they have a new chef or new management but with thin sauces an overbulking with onions and a real cheap feel to the taste i wont be ordering from them again

Terrible, terrible experience! Food over an hour late, then stopped answering the phone so I had to go down to the shop (only 5 minute drive away). Guy in the shop just told me to request a refund, didn't seem bothered at all! Will never use this restaurant again and will probably cancel my Just Eat account if they insist on having this quality of restaurant on their books. Never again!

My order was wrong when it arrived, I ordered veg curry but got some spicy mushroom dish/soup ? instead, still ate and enjoyed it...but not my curry :(

Food arrived 1 hour 30 mins early, I was in London and ordered the food for 8pm which arrived at 6pm when I was not home. I called the restaurant about this and they was not helpful in the slightest, they said they would reheat the food for an hour and half instead of cooking fresh for my time required or providing some sort of discount for the wrong delivery time on their behalf. The customer service was shocking and I would not order again.

Portion size was good for one or to share. Tasty ingredients. We've ordered from Prosperity a number of times and because we can guarantee that we will enjoy the food.

The food was prepared as requested with extra hot/spicey pepper. I am very glad the restaurant not only read but followed my instructions, though ribs could do with more meat on it than cartilage & fat. Happy with the service.

Disappointed with items delivered. Chilly beef was so bad that we could not eat any of it. It was so over cooked that co7ld not bite it, bend it or cut it. Normally it’s really good. Curry was nice except not much meat because of excess of onions, Chips although were hot and not bad the rest of bag appeared to have been cooked and 5hen warmed up as they were very tough. Can’t afford takeaways often as pensioners especially since every thing is so expensive now. This was a special occasion as my son and his daughter had visited us unexpectedly hence ordering takeaway. My daughter lives next door and orders from you so credits she can use please. Non greasy, feels like a healthy takeaway

I’ve been using prosperity for a long time and unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down hill. The recent order of egg fried rice was all stuck to togethe and cold, my beef dish I couldn’t chew as it was so tough and cold, the chicken in my noddles was cold. You don’t even get free prawn crackers now unless you spend £25. I don’t think I’ll be using them again I’m sorry to say!

This was by far the best Chinese I’ve ever had - and I’ve tried many!! Food arrived early, piping hot and tasted delicious. Will defo be ordering from here from now on!

Ordered a fair amount of food for the 4 of us and it arrived piping hot and 10 minutes early. Really tasty and well priced.

Egg fried rice was very bland and plain ...tasted like boiled rice. The prawn were delicious. Will order the prawns again

Loyal customer, ordered through Just Eat as usual, but this time used a voucher I was given, received a text saying cancelled, and taken my money. Ring up to ask why was cancelled and they said they don’t accept vouchers?? Well don’t use Just Eat to selll your food then!!!

Lovely food, always arrives really hot and very tasty! Pre ordered for 8pm and it arrived at 7.56pm so can’t say fairer than that - really enjoyed our take away, thank you!

Superb food..hot and flavoursome

Beef and bean sauce, egg fried rice was ok. The chicken was tough and hard to chew. Which spoilt the whole meal. The vegetables were good. The singapour noodles were ok, but the chicken was also unedible. Very unlikely that I will order Chinese from Prosperity again!

My food arrived late and cold 30 mins after the latest delivery time . My son in law put in an order from the same address 15 minutes after mine and it arrived 20 mins before mine .. I was given £3 back off my order which I won’t use as I will in future use Uber eats .. poor food poor service poor delivery time
