Wow. The breakfast!!!! Stunning and without doubt the best I have had ANYWHERE. So many good reviews , I thought I needed to try it. Certainly didn’t disappoint. I had the XL as feeling peckish. Really good. Can’t wait until the next time.

Excellent Cappuccino and bacon bap for both of us, quick service with a smile and we could sit outside with our two dogs. Will call again, thank you.

Visited here on a few occasions when staying at a hotel nearby and I have always been keen to recommend this cafe to others. After visiting earlier this week, I won’t be returning. The hygiene in this place is abysmal, not helped by the immediate sight of a staff member smoking in the doorway when we entered the car park, who then entered the kitchen and began cooking without even washing his hands. Poor attitude from the chef to both the customers and more shockingly, the other employee. Such a shame as this used to be a great place to grab a quick breakfast and watch the planes take off/land.

Such a friendly cafe that is Haverfordwest’s best kept secret. Very accommodating in with any variation of the dishes you want, fantastic portions and very good value for money.

I visited on 16/8/22 and had a long wait by the hatch for someone to take my order, there were two guys working, one was cooking and the second was clearing up some damaged milk cartons in the main back-chiller, which I think is sited outside the main building. Accidents do happen, the guy clearing up was under pressure but was extremely polite and kept my informed of how long he would be, which was fine as he was so friendly. The guy cooking however was very grumpy, barking orders at the other guy and completely ignored the customers waiting. He could have stepped in for a minute or two to ease the pressure on the second guy (who was taking orders/cleaning tables/making drinks/waiting at tables and I presume washing up as well). It ended up being nearly ten minutes before I placed my order, the food however was excellent and the waiter guy was fantastic (yes I tipped him), in my opinion from what I witnessed, he is undervalued and should be treated/spoken to better. One concerning element was the presence of a few tea towels lying around which seemed wet and were very dirty (they were over and above the towels used for clearing up the milk) - they need to go and single use paper towels should be used. The menu is stuck on the side of the main drinks fridge by the hatch and people in the queue have to squeeze to the front of the queue, look at the menu which is at the front of the queue then squeeze their way back to where they were (and then probably forget what they want to order) - crazy method - print a few off and laminate them so they can be seen easily! In summary: this has the makings of a fantastic cafe, the food was excellent, the guy serving was faultless in his manner with the customers - they need to sort out a few logistics and the guy cooking needs to realise where his 'bread is buttered'.

Remember this is a cafe and the rating is for it as a cafe. Very friendly staff and the food is good. I had the chicken katsu to try as it was a surprise to see it on the menu. It was very good. It is strangely relaxing and calming to have lunch at an airfield with the occasional plane landing and taking off.

Walked in one afternoon just before 3pm and the cafe smelt of smoke and grease. It’s basically a bit of a canteen place. Two staff were cooking through the kitchen latch but saw me standing there and one managed to see me...but just ignored me completely. After still standing like a lemon eventually one of them snapped at me that they had little food left and made it clear they were soon closing. Not a hint of pleasantness or Pembrokeshire hospitality. I live two hours from Haverfordwest but still come back to my home town. But guess what, I know where not to go next time!

Although many eat breakfast-style meals, I often choose meals like Beans-on-toast; or Steak & Kidney Pie. Both are excellent. Matty (the cook) listens carefully to customer preferences; meals arrive quickly piping hot. In suitable weather, outdoor seating is available. Parking is very convenient & free.

From initial greeting to leaving the service and food were great. The young man taking our order was friendly and efficient. The food arrived , delivered by another member of staff, who was also friendly. Food itself was hot , tasty and plentiful. On leaving the same young man that took the order wished us a good day.

Welcoming cafe in the main airport building by the Control Tower. Unfortunately we were late in day when they were closing up, so could only sample cold drinks and snacks, but the staff stayed open for us and we were able to sit down and enjoy our refreshments. We will definitely return to sample the full menu.

This has always been our favourite place for a breakfast but the last time we came the man serving spent the whole time being rude to us. Will not be returning.

All six of us had a full English,we go there about 2 to 3 time's a month, and the food is always spot on, can't fault it,the place is clean friendly staff, and very relaxing place,see you soon from the old burgers motorbike club in X hands

The middle aged woman with long dark hair should not be allowed to deal with customers!!! She is so rude, her attitude is appalling. To make matters worse I over heard her calling a customer some rather vulgar names!! The food how ever was fab maybe just employ new staff

Called in for breakfast, the standard breakfasts are amazing so much food. 2 bacon and sausages, egg beans, mushrooms, tomato, fried bread and toast and a cuppa. All for £5-50. All cooked as we like it. Lovely thank you.

Well well well how an earth do this type of establishment survive ! Customer Service is and has always been priority in any business. From the moment we walked into to this place it felt extremely hot, muggy and dirty.The greeting was a grunt off a young girl who spent more time on her phone than working.We placed our order no thank you whatsoever and the kitchen well if you can call it a kitchen, everything microwaved pre heated or deep fried! Thank god we had simple food as the food which was being out out was fit for the bin. Owner ::: Get yourself new staff and a bigger more up to date kitchen.Reminded me of Faulty Towers.All kitchen staff were soaking in sweat 4 people in an 8 x 8 room with no ventilation. Mmmm health and safety issue there surly

The staff were beyond rude, especially the young girl with dreadlocks, and when I sent them these messages via FB I had a thumbs down from them! Shocking how they treat customers. Will absolutely not be going again.

I come here from time to time but I’m less inclined to after the most awful woman behind the counter. I was stood waiting to be served for a good few minutes, there was no one else there, in this time I had the time to over hear her and her colleague scrolling on their phones and saying the most awful things about someone on her social media, ‘she annoys me so much because she’s so ugly’ was one phrase. When she finally clocked me stood there, I asked if they took cards and the response I received was a mean faced expression and a point blank ‘no’ like I was inconveniencing her by asking. Never again, what a shame!

My partner and I off to St David's for the day feeling quite peckish mid-morning so turned on to this airfield advertising a cafe. First impressions were small and quaint, but boy "O" boy what a breakfast and in such an idyllic and peaceful setting. So glad we found this, food fresh: 10 out of 10 Tea fab and service helpful and extremely polite.... My partner and I highly recommend this little spitfire of a cafe :) :) no pun intended lol

On visiting for a brunch, whilst working and supporting a person. On asking for a menu to the young lady I was told that there was one stuck to side of fridge. Asked if I could take it down to go through menus with client was told “NO” Explained that I would be quick and put it straight back. Chef entered kitchen she told him that she had told me “NO” to me taking the menu he replied that as long as I was quick it would be fine. The young lady continued to to speak to the chef in a negative manor while in ear shot. The food was really nice.

Desperate for pit stop after long journey, did u turn to come, not disappointed. Great value, food cooked on hot plate, so not greasy, lovely outlook, outdoor seating, will come again.

As a regular customer I was extremely disappointed with my service I recieved today. The lady behind the counter was exceptionally rude. Previous to this incident we have highly recommend this cafe to others for 7 years. Sadly as the food has always been lovely but due to the poor service we won’t be returning.

I was frozen solid after a cliff walk at Newgale. TripAdvisor reviews looked great, and being a retired Royal Australian Air Force Flight Lieutenant I just had to go and see an airfield Cafe for myself. Do not order the XL breakfast unless there are 4 of you to eat it! It was huge and DELICIOUS. Well done lads. 5 Stars!

We were looking for a good place to have breakfast whilst on holiday and found here and saw good reviews. You wouldn’t find it by accident and from the road the sign isn’t inviting. It isn’t obvious when you drive into the airport area where the cafe is as it is inside the terminal building. Small cafe but very clean. Good prices and great sized portions. Really well cooked and freshly cooked. The chefs were friendly and obviously took pride in what they do. Would highly recommend!

I was flying out of the airport so we had breakfast before departing. Great food and good prices. When we landed back the roast dinners looked awesome.

Even the standard breakfast is big, I've been back several times this is a down to earth small cafe, but the breakfast is rocksteady GREAT!

Such a friendly laid back airfield with an all day breakfast worth the visit alone. Everything you want in a Welsh breakfast mercifully without laver bread. Despite being a card carrying Celt I have never found adding something with the texture and taste of sandy salty undercooked fertiliser bags to my breakfast to add value.

Called in for quick meal after shopping and ordered a breakfast although nearly 4pm. Good sized portion served up promptly with mug of tea. All reasonably priced with polite service. A good locatiom for plane spotters as good view out onto the airfield runways.

This cafe is super friendly, easy going and the food is fresh and yummy. We went for Sunday lunch with a choice of chicken or beef, they are not shy with their portions we left with very full bellies! Definitely going back there.

Service is fast from a tiny busy kitchen adn the food is of great value. Small seating area so it can get crowded at popular times such as Saturday morning when flyers will be visiting.

Definitely the best breakfast we had this holiday. Funny little cafe in a small airport. Standard breakfast was delicious as was the sausage sandwich. All cooked fresh while you wait. Coffee was yummy. Toilets were clean and you could see some little planes. Thought about not putting it on here, it's only small and so lovely we wouldn't want to get there again and find it full!! people were lovely.

Good value food served without fuss. Plenty of free parking. Good Cafe food served fast and efficiently, child friendly and able to watch planes coming in and out whilst eating

Good food-Sunday luch looks good too. The only problem with eating here is that ventilation is very poor and the cafe can get very smokey and can be a bit unpleasant at times.

Busy little Cafe at Withybush International Airport :-). Friendly staff who will cook your breakfast as you like it. No complaints regarding the what was cooked. Table condiments were clean even the sauce bottle tops were clean with no dried on sauce. Will visit again.

Having a snack or breakfast there is like going to a cheap cafe, but the food is very good. Not knocking that. The actual restaurant area with the service hatch is very basic and could really be a lot cleaner. OK for a snackbar level .. but the food is good.

A great little cafe situated within the terminal building at the airfield. Good views across the airfield. Do an excellent all day breakfast which is freshly cooked. Good for other meals too.

Fancied a roast for weeks and Propellers do Roasts Every day! Beef dinner was HUGE! And so tasty! Couldn't finish it, so took it home in a box :) would definitely recommend

Didn't even know this place existed till I was taken there by a couple I was building for,what a breakfast,I couldn't do much work after it as I was stuffed,the staff work tremendously hard to feed the many ppl that eat here?definitely recommend this place for food especially if you like a good old fry up

Went for breakfast here, we all decided on the standard, my daughter doesn't like a few things on the standard, not a problem they swapped them for what she liked plus extra toast? The bacon was cooked perfectly,everything else was lovely? Plus tea and toast such a bargain. The staff are lovely and friendly such a pleasure to visit Propellers. Whilst we were there a couple came in looking for the Spitfire museum,which used to be near but has moved into Haverfordwest. The lady behind counter took the time to write out directions for the couple even down to where to park? That was lovely to hear! Well done guys on your food, service and helpfulness. You have to give it a go. We love their breakfasts and we will try lunch menu soon? They do a roast dinner everyday, plus loads of other choices. We will be back!

I just had to do a review today for propellers cafe as we Popped in for breakfast. The staff are always happy and smiling even when they are clearly busy. The food is always cooked to order and is always fresh and hot, and at a good price. So If you need good food in pleasant surroundings with friendly staff look no further than Propellers Cafe

Visited the cafe on Sunday, May 9 - amazing food - Mum had the steak and kidney pudding and said it was the best she had ever eaten - she should know as she is 85 years of age - the team of girls cooking and serving were such a well organised, happy and hardworking bunch - nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smileKeep up the great work girls and see you again soonJonathan & Stephanie

They cafe serves an excellent breakfast and roast menu and is popular. The food is good and the portions are not mean. There is the added bonus of being able to view the comings and goings at this small regional aerodrome.

This cafe is small but cosy, also has eating area outside looking out to runway. Large choice of food from All day cooked breakfast to Sunday lunch. Service was good food delicious and reasonably priced.

The food is very nice no matter what you have fried it's not greasy good choice on the menu its a very popular place it gets very busy at dinner times it's quite small but it's lovely in the summer time you can sit outside and watch the small light air crafts come and go

we have been here twice in the past month. the first time we went we arrived at about 1pm and as expected very busy had about 5minutes to wait but great service great price for the food. the biggest selection of breakfast filled the stomachs of the men I was joining for breakfast. worth the wait and price

When we articles at the cafe we were with mixed thoughts about the service we would be getting.However we were absolutely stunned with how pleased and accompanying they were, the service was outstanding with the food being even better. Don't worry if you don't like sausages or bacon you can ask to swap something for another thing.Only thing to let the experience down was not seeing a plane take off.Other than that outstanding.

Splendid little cafe at the Haverfordwest Airfield. Easy parking, friendly staff, great prices and tables with a clear view of the runways (which are not overly busy it is fair to say!). We enjoyed an excellent late morning breakfast and the menu also offers meals ranging from ‘with chips’ through to a daily roast. Propellers is a cafe - don’t expect anything else - but they do being a great cafe really well! Recommended to fellow TripAdvisors if you are fancying that treat fry-up in an unusual setting!

Good cheap cafe food cooked fresh to order. No complaints about good, service or cleanliness however there are no toilets. You have to pay to use the ones in the showground or there are free stinking ones near to the go carting.

We flew into Haverfordwest Aerodrome mid afternoon and by the time the rest of our party arrived (7 other aircraft) it was almost closing time. However the staff were great, making cups of tea for us and chatting, even though they needed to close the cafe. We felt so welcome. We only had drinks but would happily go back again to try the menu.

Went today on the recommendation of friends, was NOT disappointed. Food tasty, quick and filling. Used to go to another café every week for breakfast. They are no more. We are propeller fans forever now. Only one downside,(if u can call it that) would prefer tinned tomatoes to fresh but that's a personal choice.

I have to give this place 5 stars as it's the only place I have found that sells Turkish delight hot chocolate. My wife loves Turkish delight and when she's happy I'm happy. The waffles are great too excellent to share with someone. I also took my dad here so he could watch the light aircrafts whilst having a cuppa outside.

The cafe is small and the food pre-cooked, but its fast service and the food is fine. If you want a breakfast its a good place, if you want fine dining, super attentive service and frills don't bother.

We first tried this cafe when my husband went for a flying lesson, and have returned several times since. Yes, it's a small cafe on an airfield serving no frills food, but we've never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and polite, and there is a great view over the runways. The food is relatively basic, but always well cooked and tasty.

Have had breakfast here lots of times and its always been great ,saying that at these times i have been in need of a good dose of fry up styled food ,ie hungover , starving after a fat free week or just got my greedy head on. The menu is a little hard to read and the conversation is not always flowing probably owing to the fact they are kept busy by the constant flow of customers ,they have always been polite and attentive even when asked to swap things around (prefer toast to fryed bread) I think the ticket system aka tesco deli counter works very well, no confusion and you can sort of track your order by counting down to numbers till its your turn .They dont only do breakfast, lunches aswell and i think even sunday lunch altho the breakfast sorts me out for most of the day On a dry day you can even sit outside and watch the goings on at the airport .At the end of the day its a cafe no frills just decent food well served at a great price if you want a waitress and egon ronay to flambay you a free range wilderbeast truffle your in the wrong place , i say well done .

I'm surprised by the previous ratings because we went today and it was very poor.The good bits... ahh, umm. yes well, now the bad bits.Two youngish girls behind the small counter busy talking barely acknowledged us. The menu is laminated to the side of the counter. Everything is precooked and kept "warm" (I use that term loosely) in a bain marie type hot plate which doubles up as the serving area, except for the fried eggs. You order and are given a ticket. A few mins later they scream out your number for your food, Then again for your drinks, then again for your toast.There are no paper serviettes and you help yourself to cutlery. On the plate was a dollop of globulous stewed orange mush that apparently were baked beans. A few thinly sliced totally blackened and over cooked mushrooms. two rashers of bacon with more salt then the dead sea. Two extra value extra cheap sausages, fried bread with more grease than John Travolta, A fried egg (free range apparently) that was burnt on the bottom and raw on the top ( I really must try to learn that new cooking trick) and a semi cooked tough tomato. My wife had to leave some of her breakfast, and had I not have had a heavy cold, I would have done the same. There was tea and coffee recently spilt on the tiled floor. I looked in amazement as the girl who came to clean a table just walked through it literally splashing it around, making no effort to even avoid it let alone clean it up.There is a good side. You do get free repeat food ... about 30 mins after leaving it will repeat on you all day leaving you feeling heavy and greasy.This small cafe is situated within a terminal building. Which is rather ironic as I think many breakfasts like this would be precisely that. Terminal.I do think this is one of the worst breakfasts to date and, the only time I have left a 1 star review marked as terrible.

Situated just off the A40 at Haverfordwest Airfield this café is an ideal stop when travelling to catch the ferry to Ireland or just on a day out with the family. Good portions of food good value for money. First Class coffee. You can sit outside on a good day and watch the aircraft or enjoy a view towards the Preseli Mountains. Always call in when passing for a coffee and something to eat never disappointed. Staff are always helpful and a friendly smile.

This small cafe at Haverfordwest Aerodrome is nice, and they sell good coffee, and an excellent cooked breakfast. There is a view of the runway. This cafe is very popular with the locals.

My husband and I calledIn for a breakfast mmm lovely, we had the standard it comes with tea or coffee and was cooked nicely 2 each of bacon and sausage, beans, mushrooms,tomato, egg, fried bread and toast! Go up and try it yourself, topped with watching planes taking off lovely!

For basic food and midday roasts this place can not be beaten. Pleasant staff, quick service and piping hot food - what more can you ask for. Very reasonably priced for a decent sized Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Nice home made puddings also. Give it a go - we will certainly be returning.

Agree with the above reviewer. Excellent breakfasts, biker-friendly, good value. Sitting outside and watching the antics of the sky-pilots on a summer's day is a bonus. Nice friendly staff, too.

A great cafe to start your day from. On Withybush Airfield, Haverfordwest. Used by Withybush fliers and anyone else. We use it as a great starting point for day out on bikes. All day breakfasts, roast lunches and much more. Can be busy and you may have to wait for a seat. On nice days the doors are open to out door seating area right by the visiting aircraft hard standing. So great for watching all sorts of aircraft come and go.Cafe is clean and has good toilets. Plenty of parking.
