Great old traditional pub. The pies are really good

A Proper Pub with lovely friendly staff, owners and customers. The pub has plenty of interest on the walls, shelving etc and in this day is rare. We had fun joining in on the friendly quiz. We also played darts and pool and were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be visiting next time we are all down there and want to try the lunch menu out. Cheers and many thanks to you all.

Another great night with Dave Scott and his amazing dancing wife Lisa and again on 28th September 2024. This guy fell asleep listening to the juke box music he can alive later to the live music.

The way pubs used to be. Cracking place great value drinks and food. Highly recommend despite the location. Please don't be put off as not in the main Pembroke Dock street.

This is a nice looking pub with ample parking and plenty of outdoor seating. The atmosphere is lively and the bar is somewhat cozy. Unfortunately we didn't stay to sample the beverages, it was a bit too lively for me but lets be honest that's entirely a me issue hehe. I recommend trying for yourself.

My favourite pub in Pembrokeshire. 2 pints and the best pie I have ever eaten for a £10.

We came for lunch with 8 of us and this lovely pub was very accommodating, the food was amazing and so reasonable in price, we all had a great afternoon

Just nipped in for a pie and a pint and it was lovely! I’m not sure if they are made in house or locally purchased but the pie was really tasty. I will definitely be coming again when I am local.

Extremely disappointed with how the female that was working last night, as I was visiting this pub last night with a friend at 11pm when the pub was still rather busy myself and friends asked for some drinks and she replied "I haven't seen you drinking in here all night so I can't serve you" instantly she turned around and rang the bell calling last orders, of course I asked if I could order a drink as she was calling last orders and she refused, extremely disappointed and will NEVER be returning there again.

Great all round real pub - had everything: good beer, friendly people, fair sport coverage, a few eccentrics… Cheers!

Great little authentic pub with local characters!

Best place to stop pre or post ferry trip. Highly recommend the toasted sandwiches, wished we had also ordered chips as they looked so good on our neighbours plate! Friendly staff and a proper traditional pub.

A really friendly locals pub, made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent. Locals gave us plenty of tips for places to visit while here on holiday.

Great traditional free house pub with a wonderful atmosphere, just as you enter Pembroke Dock, with a fine beer garden and home cooked food. Landlord owned and operated for more than 40 years.

Fabulous traditional pub with a great atmosphere and reasonably priced beer and great staff. They don't do pubs like this anymore.

A pub which atmosphere needs to be felt.. as soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and although not huge its cosy and perfect for a relax or a knees up depending on which night you go (personally we like Sunday evenings as its a quiz) The owners rich and Michele are just awesome and when not flat out interact with people visiting which gives it a feeling that you are home or in your own local.. Huge range of ales and food is top notch Well worth a visit x

I had some pub classics and sat outside The food was good just pub classics ham egg and chips, curry half and half, and some kids food. The beer was cold and wet and the locals made you feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and chatty I have no complaints other than the chips could have been better.

Excellent pub open at proper times and full of happy locals. Just what a proper pub should be, memorabilia adorning the walls, great staff and happy hour at 4 on Tuesdays.

We heard good things about this pub so I thought I should pay it a visit for lunch with my partner while I was down in Milford. Loved it so much that we have been back several more times for lunch & evening drinks along with friends and family 😃 Food is very good quality and quantity at a fair price. Although I'm a Londoner, I was made to feel like one of the family, it might be 250miles away from me but this is my "local" and I visit every time I'm in Pembs.

Loved this pub, Got a very traditional feel about it and a good vibe/atmosphere, no 'chain' pub could ever replicate that. Food was great, steak and ale pie with chips! 👌

This is a friendly pub offering a variety of good value pub food. There is a good selection of drinks, including well-kept real ale. There is a lot of local memorabilia and a strong local following. The reverend James beer was very well-kept.

Great, delicious food for a great price. Friendly service and good location when driving by by car. Lots of parking spaces and nice garden.

What should I say.... You have to visit it. The staff was very kind and helpful. After more than half a day on the coastal path I was really thirsty. My orders where delivered promptly and wit a smile. After 18 miles of walking on the coastal path iz was like coming in your local pub. When I met the first customer, the biggest Rangers fan I know, another customer came over and invited me to a pint. I am sorry but I forgot his name. I felt so welcome, it's a place like home.

On holiday in Pembrokeshire for 2 weeks, first visited the pub for a lunchtime meal, liked the place so much went back 3 more times and took friends with us. Some pubs you walk in to and everything goes quite if you're a stranger, like a wild west saloon, not this pub - as soon as you walk in you're family 😀 Food is good quality at a sensible price and the drinks are priced competitively for the area. I live 300miles away, but will be going back there when I'm in the area.

Young female bar staff left me standing for 20 minutes to be served and very rude. Im a tourist so she chose to serve locals first who came to the bar long after I'd been standing there.

Pub is tiny, but on a sunny day the beer garden is top.

Just wish more pubs in this area served food after 2 :30 rather than complain about lack of business.

Wonderful warm welcome from the hosts and the regulars. Surprisingly busy for a midweek lunch time but that added to the atmosphere. Had a lovely cold pint of Staropramen and a natter with the locals at the bar. Smashing!

Great place with unique old style look and warm and friendly atmosphere, met many lovely people and made a new friend who we nicknamed spiderman , oh and not a bad pint either would recommend dropping in for a pint . If I'm back in the area working I will definitely return.

I've eaten lunch in here twice recently. It's good straightforward food, not fancy, good value. Staff are cheerful and organized.

It's a lovely pub, with lots of character, staff are really friendly, food was great and plenty of it, the beer, just as good, highly recommended, will certainly visit again.

Staff are always polite and attentive here and service is always good . I love how the pub has regular customers who welcome you with open arms and make you feel extremely welcome. There is a good choice of meals on the menu . I had a cheese burger and my mother had a omelette both meals were substantial and piping hot . Certainly good value for money . To be honest I prefer to support local establishments as you get good service and I would certainly recommend here to everybody Thank you

Girls behind the bar good as gold. Regular flowing beer so tidy. Wide variety of lunch meals. You won't go wrong for a pint and a lunch big or small. Good location if you're visiting or passing through too.

I had been looking forward to visiting this place for seven months. Unfortunately the evening I visited I was given very slow service, food would be over an hour because there were two lots of people on their way who had booked ahead, and barfly everywhere. Will try again in a few months. The beer was well looked after at least.

Just like to say how rude and unfriendly the staff were at this pub. Called in today for a drink and was spoken to like children. We sat for 1/2 hour waiting for our order to be taken which never happened and ended up leaving still thirsty. Absolutely shocking service. FIRST AND LAST time ever.
