Propeller Bar & Kitchen in Bromley

Went here for breakfast on recommendation from friends, my partners eggs Benedict was lovely , however ordered additional items that never came , I had the American Pancakes, 1 of my pancakes was uncooked so all the batter just ran out . Ordered a side order of bacon which they forgot so had to remind them and that was slightly undercooked. The fruit was delicious, as was the cream and maple syrup. Staff need some training in customer service . It could be amazing as the menu is lovely, but needs polishing. Would we go back , yes as always give places a second go , maybe go for lunch next time .

Went for a sunny lunch however, service was terrible, it took 20 minutes for them to come over and ask what drinks we wanted and then another 15 minutes just for a Diet Coke and lemonade. Not once was we asked if everything was ok and waited so long to pay the bill we had to go up to the bar and ask. The food was just average. Extremely disappointed considering what potential the pub could have.

Restaurant was half empty and very understaffed. A lad aged about 12 working as a waiter. Service was terrible. Food was average, served up with a real lack of presentation and was very basic. Seems they have rebranded but the menu is pretty much the same and food quality just as lacking as before. I had the lamb sheesh which was five small cubes of lamb with a load of chips. Mistakes were going on all over the place and this place will not last if they carry on like that. Felt sorry for the staff, obviously a family business but need more help and a much better chef and quality of food.

Myself and a friend went for dinner. The food was lovely, I had lamb shakil the meat was so tender. The lady that served us was very friendly and polite. I would definitely go back.

We decided to stop here for lunch as we were passing by and so pleased that we did! The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the decor is lovely and modern. The food was delicious and excellent value for money - we could not fault it. My partner said it was the best lamb shish he has ever eaten, the lamb melted in your mouth. I would definitely recommend the feta and spinach parcels - delicious. During conversation my boyfriend had mentioned it was his birthday and the staff surprised him with some baklava and ice cream complete with birthday candles - a lovely thoughtful touch! We will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.
