Prince of Wales Inn in Lincoln

Being service by the bar staff Amy really highlighted our night as we had gone for a personal bottomless brunch and she was quick with the service and so friendly. I’ve never known someone to give the atmosphere she brought she made us feel special and made the night that so much better

Me and my friend went for a bottomless (which we have been for many) but we were sat by Amy who made the whole experience feel so personal, at one point the football came on but Amy made sure me and my friend were okay with all the football lads around us, she definitely deserves a promotion, our bottomless was made all the better because Amy was having a laugh and a joke with us she is genuinely such an asset!

Siani and Ellie for our bottomless brunch work so were both brilliant, highly recommended!

Some money obviously recently spent on decor, fixtures and fittings - and food offerings seem well received.However, of the many beers on offer, not a single British ale, or bitter to be seen….Not even bottled. A sorry state of affairs if you ask me.

We went at 2:30 on a Thursday. The service was fast and both the girls that served us ( siani and Clara) where polite and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Food was great. Would definitely go back

A lovely welcoming pub, the pizza was lovely.

Charged £17.50 for a pint of mediocre beer, a g&t, a pint of lemonade and a glass of water. I was told, when I questioned this, that 80p had been added to each drink as it was a bank holiday. WHAT??? I was also told, when I questioned this, that all the other Lincoln pubs did this. Not true! Next door pub, certainly did not! Very cheeky!

Came in for a little light bite with a friend. We just had a bowl of chips each and put the world to rights. Nice and quiet for Friday lunchtime just how I like it. I’ll want to come back and try something again as I had to leave after a short time due to an urgent family matter. But I was very happy with what I ate.

Great bar, Amy (barmaid) is a hero! Couldn’t recommend enough

Really nice Pub, initially disappointed as they had no Cask Beers on but found a decent selection of IPA’s so not a complete disaster Only issue was the Gents which was minging, stank of stale urine and put us off stopping for another pint as the prospect of visiting the gents again was too much

We had a very good shared lunch.

Really disappointed with food tonight. Had pizza( would think you couldn’t go wrong really…) and nachos… basically nothing fresh, everything felt like it was out of a jar or tube. Even ordered smoky beef as an extra on nachos- sure it was Puckle out of a jar. Very disappointing but expensive!

We had the bottom brunch the food was really tasty, the drinks were good. Sunny and holly kept us going with drinks, we were never sat with an empty glass. They were also so accommodating, we where 25 minutes late to our booking and they still allowed us to have our full time on a busy Saturday, which we appreciate so much

Having been here for brunch a few times before we have always enjoyed the experience, in fact being a local that has since moved away, I've always really enjoyed returning, as the place holds many happy memories for me. On this most recent occasion I cannot say the same and will not even be giving a rating! On arrival we were directed to our table by a very pleasant female member of staff. On an adjoining table was a group of eight or so males who were having a good time but were incredibly loud to the point where we were unable to hear ourselves. We kindly asked to move but were told, due to the time of day and the day itself, that wasn't possible. What followed was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and we were actually told that we would have to leave for daring to raise a point and it was intimated that we were being unreasonable, due to it being a Friday, it was five in the evening, not nine or ten. It was even stated that due to the group paying out lots of money the staff would not be asking them to be slightly quieter, It was if we didn't matter! We are all for people having a good time but this was something else! We retained our 10 pound deposit and left, whereupon we continued our evening in The White Hart Hotel, Tower and ended the evening with a gorgeous meal in Ole Ole, the local tapas restaurant with fantastic customer service in all, unlike the Prince of Wales! I would like to add that if the powers that be, read this review, the female who presented herself as the manager really needs to be re-trained, as she was the worst of the lot, absolutely terrible! Due to this awful experience we will never be returning and will make it known to others to enter at their own peril!

Mediocre, two chicken dishes that were microwaved, salad that comprised a handful of lettuce leaves, poor pub grub, really disappointing after reading some of the reviews

Over two hours for our food to arrive .we had a table booked at 5pm. Food was dry and cold. Would not feed the food to my dog. ordered porn star Martini had to ask for the prosecco shots. Glasses were not full. Will never return food was revolting but was so hungry we just needed to eat stuff! How you can call this food is beyond a joke. Has totally spoilt our evening.

We went for bottomless brunch on Saturday. We had a great time. We had a bit of a lag getting our drinks to start but they made up for it! Jemima, Amy and holly were all brilliant though and couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the food as well!

Usually not the type to complain or leave a negative review but feel like this is needed. Sat at our table and ordered food and drinks for myself and my partner. Food arrived after 30 minutes and I had to ask for our drinks, we were the only people in the pub so the wait seemed long especially for drinks. The food arrived and it wasn’t good, my partner ordered the mac and cheese which was barely warm along with all of the food that arrive. This came with some small pieces of break that was rock solid. I ordered a bbq burger with very little bbq and this was also barely warm. The bun was stale and had to leave the majority of the meals. Was asked if we wanted condiments in which I replied ketchup but this never came. At least I did get a generous serving of ketchup in my burger (see picture)

Looking for a great bottomless - look know further. Amy, Tom and the team were incredible and looked after us from start to finish. Great selection of drinks - the best food choices and generous portions too!

‘Event pricing’ is in operation every time Theirs is a special event which means they hike your the prices- so we were charged a whopping £6.90 for 2 x halves of Moretti lovingly served in Carling glasses! (£5.70 in the Tower Hotel for the same drinks and in the proper glasses 3 minutes away) Make you own kind up

Came here for my Birthday Brunch on a weekend and it was a blast! The staff were amazing and making sure our drinks were all topped up and made the experience magical 🥰 Special thanks to Jemima and Amy who delivered excellent service! Standard pub grub, easy to order from the app for table service. The wings were decent and ideal as a lunch light bite before heading down the hill into town

Lovely vegan food choices here! Great service, nice atmosphere. Only feedback I have is that I found the burgers slightly small for the price, however they do include chips, and also on the app it doesn't say that the burgers come with chips, so ended up ordering extra.

Another off day it seems. Needed more staff. We were told the change in menu and cocktail choices didn't incur extra charges yet they charged 5 pound extra per person at the end. Seated at a lovely table. Nice decorations. Flower Hair bands were a nice touch. The flowers in the cutlery smells horrible I'd suggest not to smell them.. we didn't get our first drinks for 20 mins into our time and was left waiting for drinks throughout. The food was ok. Probably on par with weatherspoons tbh. The place was lively. And it could of been a brilliant couple of hours. It's being with your friends that make it fun. Just a shame they didn't have the staff. 1 cocktail waiter and 2 waitresses wasn't enough.. once they get that sorted they could have a very nice bottomless..

Mia was a star, the food was amazing, the drinks were sometimes a bit slow but it was busy, this is my birthday present and I want to do it next year too!

Went for a bottomless brunch with my partner, i previously worked in a restaurant for nearly a year as a waitress where they offered bottomless so i understand how the industry worked. I genuinely felt like sandy and the waitress that served me and my partner in the first part really focused on customer service, they both gave us a great experience and would (and already have) genuinely recommend a bottomless here to anyone looking for somewhere to go. The walk up steep hill was completely worth it, many thanks to sandy and their co worker from 4pm-5 on Sunday 11th, really hope your manager appreciates you being on your team.

All food is good. Staff is a bit dissapointing, but after a few beers you either want to kill them or Kier them ;)

Caught them on an off day where they were very short staffed. Service was very minimal and I saw two other tables leave without ordering because they gave up. I ordered two sides as a snack and the portions were very modest and not worth the price imo. I can imagine service being better on another day, but a lacklustre kitchen to boot was not a great combination.

Charged twice for a round of drinks - app order didn’t go through but the payment did, I was told to reorder and the payment wouldn’t clear from Pending, but it did. I’ve called and emailed several times this week, phone goes straight to voicemail and no response to my emails.

It wasn't for me. Staff were great, location is great. The wait for our food sadly wasn't worth it and the noise level was off the chart. Very busy so clearly popular with many but not us. Have read mixed reviews so may return on a less busy night, in the hopes we're we just unlucky.

Absolutely excellent from the moment we entered the pub to when we left! Amy was amazing and kept us topped up with endless drinks. Food was good and the atmosphere was friendly and cosy. Would most definitely go back and recommend their bottomless brunch to all! We were there with friends for a long overdue catch up and this was the perfect place to do it! A very pleasant pub, not the cheapest in the city but clean, tidy and pleasant atmosphere. Didn't have anything to eat but the chap next to us did which looked good and a decent size portion.

A nice enough pub, but outrageous prices . I wanted an aperol spritz as it was a lovely day to sit outside. The lady who served us said it was 2 for the price of one , but only wanted one and usual price for one is between £7 and £10 . The price here is £14 !!!! This is for one !!!! So yes you can get 2 for £14 , but just for one . Be warned

We know quite a few of the local academics and they like it here. It was our second visit and we enjoyed both. Friendly and helpful staff and the atmosphere was good too. A broad clientele and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves and generally mingling in a friendly way. As it should be in a pub, no doubt.

Most beer gone, and what was left was phenomenally expensive. Tried to order food but told they were out. Staff was new and didn't know anything. Best go somewhere else

My partner and I came here for a bottomless brunch as it was the only one we hadn't tried in the Lincoln area. The pub opens at 11 and the booking was also for 11, so it seemed a little gogogo. Although it didn't affect the brunch time as it got adjusted for when you got your first drink. It's a very nice pub with a lot of character especially for a chain, the food was nice and came out quick. We had a burger melt for the meal which was very tasty and a good size. The drinks on offer were one of the best I've seen for bottomless brunch, from several different gins, beers, ciders, cocktails and you could upgrade on that too. All in all it was a very nice brunch and the servers were quick on the drinks, there is always somebody around to ask if you need a top up as the place does get very busy, especially on a Saturday.

Me and three friends a went for a bottomless brunch this Saturday. Everything was five out of five, the food, the atmosphere, the drinks. It was steam punk in the bail, so we was worried the drinks wouldn’t be free flowing. But the service was amazing. Big shout out to Amy who kept topping our drinks up. We shall definitely be returning.
