Went here on a Saturday night when there was a blues/rock band playing live. Good mix of people in. Good selection of beers at reasonable prices. Helpful staff.

I’ve meant to come here for ages. Popped in with my mum and her little dog. A really lovely lady working behind the bar who has a dog. Great welcome. Good atmosphere. There are lots of lovely original Victorian touches to the pub. I’ll be back.

Very very nice place to be for a quiet drink with friends, and a nice lively to be in the evenings and weekends. I know the landlord personally, and when no busy himself takes the time to talk to you. Staff are friendly also.

What I would call a Drinkers pub. Friendly welcome from the Landlord. Dog friendly, so handy if you've just come from a walk along the beach. Has Sky sports if you want it.

Nice fair sized boozer, great for sports fans and the locals are pretty accommodating. Pool and darts .

Used to be an old fashioned pub with a slightly rowdy atmosphere now it's a pub used by serious drinkers with language and behaviour to match. Not for me.

Poor within 2 mins. Some toothless idiot told me he was in charge pissed turned out to be the landlord! Very poor beer as well over gassed. But all ways fun if you fancy being abused place to come. Also loads of drug users! Oh and if you are disabled take a look at my picture.

Good, proper locals boozer. Recently refurbished tastefully. Landlord and barstaff always friendly, helpful and with a welcoming smile.

Excellent atmosphere and a good pint... Shame when they call last orders and have to go home...Nothing else to do...then lol
