Best curry in the cotswolds! Fantastic food & service, Abdul was great & looked after us well. Chicken naga & meat thali are definitely recommended.

Amazing!!!! Best Indian we have had in a while. Would 100% visit again & bring others with us. Service was 10/10 very efficient. Food was unbelievable and fairly priced.

We always find an Indian restaurant wherever we go. This one did not disappoint. The only reason for 4 stars was the table we sat at was small. There was a party of 14 in that night which may account for the slightly cramped conditions. The food was amazing though and we have chosen this place as our last night in Stow meal. Can’t wait.

I booked online and received an email confirming the reservation but when we arrived they didn't seem to know we were coming. We were put at a table that had takeaway food bags on which they did move explaining that we would be moved when a table became free. There was at that time 2 tables free although one was filled very quickly. The other one stayed empty all the time we were in the restaurant. We sat at this very small table squashed with our drinks while waiting for other people to finish so we could be moved. Eventually we got seated and had our food which was delicious as always. We won't bother going to the restaurant again to eat but we will get takeaway from there instead.

Big family get together, 14 curries ordered, plus lots of side dishes, one had to be Gluten free, the chap who took our order was friendly & knowledgable of the ingredients,and we felt reassured, restaurant phoned when order was ready, and it was ready in 45mins! Superb food, piping hot, great portion sizes , and not a single dish was missing or wrong, the level of spice was spot on, and the side dishes (sag paneer Bombay aloo and onion bahji) were awesome, highly recommended

This was our second visit to this restaurant, the first being five years ago. I'm pleased to say it was just as good as we remembered. The nan bread is the best we've had! Food is plentiful and tasty. Nice busy atmosphere and attentive staff. Will definitely return on our next visit to the Cotswolds!

Great little restaurant in Stow. We were staying in a neighbouring Hotel so it was an easy walk. Busy place! Lots of locals calling for takeout, always a good sign. Service excellent, food lovely. Highly recommend.

We came here for a meal on a lads weekend away, it was around 9:30 on a Friday night and they managed to get us a table. The food was fantastic, fresh and spiced just right. Service was great! I would recommend the Prince of India if you are in Stow.

I confess I didn't know that Bangladesh wasn't part of India, and I didn't appreciate ahead of time that there would be some subtle differences between Indian and Bangladeshi food. Having said that, we were totally happy with our meals. We were walk-in customers on a Sunday night. Fortunately, we were there early enough because the restaurant was totally full a half-hour later. Note for the future: make a reservation! The food was tasty, and the service was friendly. We had Chicken Tika Marsala and Rogan Josh - both well-spiced for our liking - and were well balanced with some Raita and nan bread. Only negative was that it is a small restaurant and it got really warm with all the customers there.

The place does not look the best in and outside but the food quality was exceptional. Chicken tikka shaslik, chicken madras, chips and a gorgeous cheese naan was all amazing. The server seemed miserable but maybe that was me but we pay for quality food and it was worth every penny.

Food was outstanding. The Naan was one of the best I’ve ever had. Server was great and the waitstaff had great recommendations. If I was staying here longer I’d eat here several times!

The food and menu is excellent and in their own right deserve a 5* review. Faultless on that score. However a restraint is judged on much more. The inside is stuck in the 1970’s, is very tatty and in need of urgent refurbishment. The chairs, tables and carpet must be 30 years old, the decor tired and it’s been badly let down by this. Real shame.

My boyfriend and I ate here for my birthday meal and the staff made it extra special. The Prince is a regular stop for us when in the area. Food and service were up to their usual standard and, as others have said, tables are now well spaced and all staff wear masks. The only feedback I would give about the COVID measures is they hand everyone the same notebook and pen to provide your contact details. This has then been handled by multiple customers plus your details are visible to everyone else. It didn't put us off but some people might be more concerned.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Service was also first class. We had popadums to start. I enjoyed chicken tikka Masala while my husband had chicken jalfrezi.The quality of our meals was first class. The chicken was beautifully cooked. The decor is lovely with bright tapestries on the walls. Staff are kind, friendly and efficient. We have fantastic Indian restaurants where we stay in Central Scotland but this Cotswolds jewel beats them hands down.

I have been in Lockdown for 11 weeks, the Prince has been closed since the law said restaurants have to. But tonight they reopened for takeaways and for the first time deliveries.. It was great to be able to phone up and order a delivery, brilliant service as usual, delivery was prompt, was good to see our favourite waiter Younis again, but mostly the food food was delicious snd was still hot as in heat and cooking! Beautiful Mushroom Madras, Onion and Chilli rice and Mushroom Madras, good price as well, Cant wait for next week week when I can get another delivery . Wonderful to have them back.

I attended with my wife on a saturday night. the restaurant was busy but a table was provided after a very short wait.I had a Shahi Bagra, a mix of chicken, lamb and prawns in a medium curry sauce. It was well flavoured and well cooked.My wife had a mixed thali comprising of tandoori chicken, kebab, meat boon, sag aloo, rice and nan bread. This was very tasty, a huge portion and very good value. The restaurant is dated i it's decor but in some ways this is charming. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. A great little restaurant.

No habíamos estado en un restaurante indio durante mucho tiempo, así que pensamos en probarlo cuando estuviéramos en la ciudad.Como ha dicho otro crítico, es como volver a los años 80 pero no de mala manera. La comida es muy buena y las porciones son buenas, no dejarás hambre, los sabores son perfectos, aunque las barcazas de cebolla podrían haber hecho un poco más de calor. El servicio fue bueno. No dudaría en volver cuando en Stow.
