It was worth it. There was live music.

My visit here on Sunday evening ended a brilliant weekend in London. Great live guitar set and keen, attentive and friendly staff. Would recommend and will be back.

I like the live music in this pub. The food and beers are very delicious. The service staff is very friendly and cooperative. I feel very well in this pub.

I went on a weekday at night and had a beer, the staff's attention was very good and they gave me a chance to try the beer before buying a pint. The atmosphere of the place was nice because there were not many people and there was a man singing and playing the guitar doing covers of popular songs from all decades. I didn't eat any food in the pub so I don't give it any rating.

We had a good afternoon with beers and dinner. A duo livened up the place. Very good by the way, the girl had a beautiful voice and the guitars came out very well. They sang what the audience requested in the purest British style. The food is average, the beer could be improved, but everything together very nice. Very reasonable price

Excellent pub with live music from Thursday to Sunday, with 4 courses of food that are nothing out of this world but you can handle lunch or dinner. Quite a variety of beers and friendliness at the bar. A little higher in price if you compare it with other pubs but it's fine for having a few beers and a fish and chips if you're in the neighbourhood. There is a guy who speaks Spanish at the bar, in case you are too lazy to speak in English hahaha

This was our first meal out in London. Funny experience, that was easily resolved. Small menu, but tasty food. Hot and tasty food, just the thing for winter dining.

I was very disappointed with your Fish&Chips. The knife struggled to cut through the dry batter, fish was as dry. I live with ADHD and I didn't have a courage to complain to the bar staff. PLEASE check your kitchen, this wasn't worth my money. I tried to call 3 times, left you a message.

I went to other pubs in London but I kept returning to this one. The staff, the pints, the food, the entertainment, and the atmosphere are all excellent. I was a tourist who met locals and made friends quickly. You seriously want to experience a real London pub, visit this one. This American will be back. PS, try the bangers.

Loved this pub, we stayed nearby so it effectively became our local😂 lovely atmosphere and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Estoy trabajando en Park Lane y nuestro hotel está cerca de Queensway. Vamos al Prince Alfred y es bastante tranquilo a las 18:45 horas, pero un buen lugar. Pedimos comida, pero mi pedido es un poco tarde que los demás para venir a la mesa y muy amable y generosamente me ofrecen bebidas gratis para los cuatro de nosotros y luego mi comida sale considerablemente más grande de lo que esperaba. ESE es un gran servicio al cliente. No tuve tiempo para cuestionar la tardanza, el personal lo sabía y lo hizo todo bien. Gracias gran personal y gestión. Muy recomendable.

I was in London for a few days, and several nights I went to the pub and I got a huge surprise, a very good atmosphere and phenomenal service! Greetings to the waiter who told me that he was studying in San Sebastián from the Galician who was there a few weeks ago! Highly recommended site! I'll be back!

Came for a few drinks. Lovely local kind of pub.

Went there on a Monday when there was no live music. The ambience is OK, but a little cooler than other pubs. The landlord was - although it wasn't overly busy - a bit stressed but extremely friendly. The food (burger) was very tasty and the fries in particular were exceptionally good (I ate the ones my wife had left over straight away).

An awful experience here last night. Had a pint after visiting my favourite restaurant in Queensway. A staff member came to my table and asked me to leave citing that I had taken pictures of someone without their permission. I had lost my phone earlier in the day on a bus so didn't even have a device to take photos. The staff member said that there was more than one complainant and stated that he chose to believe them. A totally bizarre allegation and I challenge the pub to look at their cctv and if they saw me in there with any kind of camera device I will donate £1000 to their preferred charity. I felt discriminated against, very poor service and an apology is owed.

What we liked most was the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff, the normal pub food at London prices.

Classic London neighborhood pub. We visited it by chance because we lived next door and fell into live. We liked it and went the next night too as we found out it has live 5 times a week. Great musicians and the crowd joins in and sings along. It's worth it if you're in the area to discover how the locals have fun. The shop is self service.

It’s a great place to hear live music 4 days a week, Thursdays to Sundays. The Steve Young duo on Sunday October 14 was excellent. They sang and played the violin and guitar and lots of the patrons joined in. A fun time! The bar doesn’t take cash so you have to use your credit card. This was my first visit and I didn’t order any food, just had one drink.

Poor. Waited 1.5 hrs in an almost empty bar for an over cooked chicken pie with overcooked fries and the worst mash potato ever. Just not good enough.

Ollie very kindly took a last minute private booking for me after my original venue let me down. 80 people 7 days out is no small feat, but Ollie and Will were phenomenal, nothing was too much trouble!

Popped in for a drink before dinner. Very friendly staff and a clean bar.

They didn't accept us because we were Italian, I went with some friends and we politely asked for beers, the owner told us to leave because we were Italian. What bothered us is the reason behind this refusal. 4 quiet friends who simply wanted to end their holiday in London sipping a Guinness. Last evening ruined. I would like to point out that my friend who was thought to be drunk is actually a teetotaler, which makes the air of prejudice that reigns in this pub even clearer. (Being Italian, our English was not native, but it would have helped to have a little more patience in trying to understand that customers were having difficulty communicating.) And when we asked about why we were kicked out of the venue, you asked security to make us leave. All with an air of absolute tranquility on our part and prejudice on your part Prince Alfred of my boots.

Had a very tasty meal in this pub. There is a deduction for the fact that tap water was served instead of still mineral water and the live music was far too loud (you couldn't have a conversation).

Great pub with live music 5 days a week. If you like cider you should try "Inch's" there. Many different types of beer and a very nice atmosphere. Mostly mixed crowd. Were there on two evenings

I came in yesterday with my mom and her best friend for their first lunch in London. They’d just arrived that morning and mom was a bit down since she’d broken her foot a few days before. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience for them. The entire staff were so kind and helpful and the food was SO good! Also, the seating is so cute, with comfy couches and chairs all around. I’m not in this area often but when I am, this will definitely be on my list to return to!

The steak pie dinner is what I'd describe as being a typical London pub counter meal: tasty, filling, and exactly what I was after to accompany a pint of Guinness.

We stopped by here for a quick drink before our dinner and we liked the overall experience. We would have ordered a snack but it seems the pub only has like 4 items on their menu that are nibbles, leaving us with few choices. The floor was also slightly sticky where we sat. Nonetheless there was nothing that would stop us from ever coming back as the beers and service were good.

Dopo una serata con amici per festeggiare l'ultima serata a Londra, abbiamo pensato di bere qualcosa insieme, peccato che una volta entrati , dopo aver esclusivamente chiesto se potevamo prendere delle birre e una coca cola, é stato innanzitutto risposto che il sottoscritto era troppo ubriaco per stare nel locale (il che é divertente perché sono astemio). Dopo aver cercato di chiedere spiegazioni abbiamo detto che forse era perché parlavamo un inglese diverso essendo italiani, la risposta é stata una risata fragorosa in faccia e ci é stato detto "no Italians no" . Non sappiamo se non accettassero italiani o altro, ma fatto sta che siamo stati costretti a concludere la serata alle 22.

Non ci hanno accettato perché eravamo italiani, sono andato con degli amici e educatamente abbiamo chiesto delle birre, il proprietario ci ha detto di andarcene perché eravamo italiani. La cosa che ci ha infastidito è il motivo dietro a questo rifiuto. 4 amici tranquilli che volevano semplicemente concludere la loro vacanza a Londra sorseggiando una guinnes. Ultima serata rovinata. Non mi sono mai sentito cosi offeso in vita mia.

Great local pub. Cold beer, good food and eclectic decor, but homely as well. Cannot rate the staff highly enough. Were very friendly to a visiting Aussie!

A pub with a quiet atmosphere, good and abundant food, although perhaps with few options. It caught my attention that they asked about food allergies. The service is fast and friendly. Ideal if you are in the area and want a safe bet with availability without the need for reservations.

Waited quite a while for our food. And it wasn't great, wasn't bad either, but for that wait I wished it had been better and the nachos were quite a small portion. The line music was nice, but we were in the back with a wall blocking the sound and it was still very loud. The staff was the best part of the place, they were very nice.

Nice place but poorly organized (today anyway). I've spent days trying to reserve a seat for the footy today. Not possible on the website and nothing in their emails to subscribers. When I walked in the guy says "sorry, we don't take bookings on the day of the game". Since I only flew in last night I couldn't do anything else. Pretty bad form guys

Literally the worst, most dry, least flavorful fish and chips I've ever had in any country. Absolutely inedible.management comped us a couple of free drinks, but still hungry so making our way to Taza kebab shop by Bayswater tube station who never let us down.

Typical London pub with live music after a certain time, children cannot stay in places that sell alcohol after 9pm, we had dinner at 8.30pm we tried fish and chips and sandwiches, everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended if you are staying in the Queensway area

We came for live music at 8:00, assured by the barman it would be on. After five overpriced pints and two mediocre meals we left after 9:00, with no music in evidence.

A very lovely location with great views, good fish & chips, and fresh flowers at all the tables. Staff was very nice and you could easily get someone's attention. Only complaint is that the cottage pie seemed a bit microwaved in how the heat was distributed.

Lovely and cozy pub in Bayswater. We really enjoyed when we went there. This pub is so big (2 floors) and sometimes they organize live music concerts, we had great time playing board games as well. Highly recommended
