Prima Donnas in Bromley

Incredible local restaurant. Atmosphere and quality of food is so good. We really are spoiled having this local gem. Beautiful place

The surroundings are superb. The service you could not fault. They have a comprehensive menu, something for everyone. We were not rushed, and werr able to leisurely pick our way around the menu.

Have reviewed this restaurant well in the past. Last night didn't match up. The first course of prawns didn't seem to correspond to its description on the menu - more like defrosted small prawns still clumped together as they would have come out of the frozen packet. The risotto was salty and oily - nothing like a risotto should be. Is your chef sick?

We just wanted a casual lunch with the family, we have been here many a time food service and staff are top notch. This time we went they had to cater for a gluten free and dairy free diet they were outstanding nothing was too much trouble I was super impressed! Thank you as always

We had a take away from Prima Donna after realising they provided such a service. We were apprehensive as to whether the food would be hot and how a takeaway would be presented. In fact we need not have worried, and had a wonderful meal, hot , generous portions and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend. I have not eaten in the restaurant itself but am confident it would be good. I have given four stars only because I think the food should have been in one of those domed boxes. Will definitely be using again.

Went last night and after quite a number of years and I have to say I was extremely disappointed! Party of 6 and straight off the service was poor. Glasses empty and not offered another drink, even to the point one of us had to go to the bar to order drinks and there was no one around. Main courses were mediocre, and not worth the price tag. The worst plates were the beef stroganoff (with minimal meat) we had to question it with the waitress, and she ended up bringing extra. I had the veal and the meat was so thin and small, they hid it under half a plate of sauce and half a plate of over salted fries. I questioned this too and the waitress said “sorry, that is the portion”. It’s not a place I would be rushing back to, which is a shame as it’s always had a great reputation!

Nice restaurant and the waitress was really sweet good service but the food average at best I had the steak my friend had the lobster I had a chilli chicken starter which was greasy and lacked flavour very rowdy customers who were allowed to torment and insult the other guests poor management

Wonderful service and consistent food at Prima Donna's. Varied menu, always something for everyone, nice food and service with a smile. Always busy so come early.

I used to be a regular diner here before moving out of the area. A chance to revisit when back in Bromley was a great experience. Restaurant has always had a great reputation, and they didn't disappoint at this dinner. An extensive menu with many different dishes, including some vegan options for those who are interested. Set menu - 2, 3 courses, and a full a la carte menu. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was wonderful.

We had a lovely Lunch with our family (Grandaughters) and Partner, very good service, nothing too much bother. Food excellent, Staff and atmosphere both great. This is my favourite restaurant in the area.

A trip to Prima Donnas is always a special treat for us. The food is always nice and there is plenty of choice. The pornstar martinis are the best I’ve had. There is a good wine list. Our last two visits we have had the chateaubriand. I like the fact you get some fresh seasonal vegetables to balance out a lot of meat! The staff are attentive and always so welcoming. We had a lovely date night.

What a great spot for lunch or dinner. We are over on holiday from Australia and catching up with the Flynn family for lunch was the order of the day. There were 5 of us and having round as well as rectangular tables made our odd number of diners work perfectly. We all ordered different meals and all had 3 courses, great food, well cooked and well presented by attentive staff made our dining experience exceptional. At £246 for 5 people seemed very reasonable we had wine, prosecco and coffees. Highly recommended.

Sunday Lunch just got better for me, they now do one of the best Vegan Sunday Roast dinners, 2 vegan roasted cutlets , with roast potatoes, good variety of vegetables, vegan gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding if asked for, plenty of everything on the plate! Good service all the time right through to desert and the last coffee, Well done Prima Donna's.

My daughter and I had dinner at the restaurant on a Saturday night. The service was fine - nothing outstanding. I had fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, expecting to have the sauce in a little jug so I could add it as I wanted it. The meal was presented with the steak swimming in the sauce - really off putting. My daughter had a paella main course which had so much pepper it was almost inedible. To top it all off it was massively over priced. We certainly will not visit again.

Never had a bad meal here and today was no exception. Set menu for Mothers day but plenty of options to choose from. We oped for tradiational Roast which was piping hot and delicious. The restaurant was a little cramped and it was a little comfortable due to lack of space BUT its mothers Day so to be expected. Staff were their usual helpful self and we left very happy.

Came here for a pre mother's day family lunch, food is exquisite, particularly recommend the seafood linguine which is gorgeous, bit on the pricey side but very much worth it for the incredible food and service!

Had 4 beef roast beef dinners to take away - the food was great: big, big portions, huge Yorkshire puds, loads of roasties and veg, everything was hot and extremely tasty. Would highly recommend.

Ayer recolectamos una caja BBQ (38) que contenía suficiente carne (hamburguesas, solomillo, alitas de pollo, salchichas, chuletas de cordero y una guarnición de costillas de cerdo) para alimentar fácilmente a 4 adultos con un apetito muy saludable. Entre los artículos se encontraban 2 hamburguesas para adultos y 2 para niños; ignore el hecho de que dicen que son de tamaño para niños, pero ciertamente no lo son. De todos modos, nuestro segundo almuerzo del domingo se recogerá a las 3 pm y si es exactamente como el almuerzo para llevar del último domingo, ¡entonces nuestra supuesta dieta "reductora" estará lista para otro fin de semana! ! !

Hemos estado perdiendo nuestras frecuentes visitas a Prima Donna debido al cierre, por lo que decidimos probar su servicio de entrega a domicilio hoy para el almuerzo del domingo. Nuestra comida fue tan perfecta como las que siempre hemos disfrutado en el restaurante. Pedidos telefónicos amigables y eficientes y nuestra entrega llegó exactamente a tiempo.Ambos pedimos ensalada de tocino y aguacate, seguida de costilla de ternera asada. Nuestra comida llegó muy caliente y bien presentada y nuestras raciones eran muy generosas. También pedimos un par de botellas de excelente vino tinto, aprovechando la oferta de un tercio de todos los vinos. Gracias y enhorabuena Prima Donna por brindar un servicio impecable y excelente comida en estos tiempos locos. ¡Esperamos volver a cenar en el restaurante pronto y disfrutar de su maravilloso Lobster Thermidor!

We had a takeaway from Prima Donnas and to be honest the food was so good we forgot we were at home! I had a rabbit and gnocchi dish and hubby had the chicken tagliatelle, absolutely delicious. The rabbit was so tender... we also had a profiterole dessert and a brownie, equally delightful ... all delivered to the door, seamless. We will definitely be ordering again but of course can’t wait to visit once lockdown ceases. Great work during these weird times

We have frequented this restaurant for over twenty five years and due to these crazy times we are in right now, we couldn’t have been more pleased to have had a Sunday lunch roast beef. Perfection as always, so proud of you guys to be able to ‘serve’ as you do and do so well. Thanks again Marino, Patrick and the family. In such difficult and unprecedented times it’s good to support our local businesses. Last Saturday evening my wife and I ordered a takeaway delivery from our local Prima Donnas restaurant and it certainly lived up to our expectations. They are offering a well chosen delivery menu - we both ordered the avocado starter and the cod fillet main - both excellent and really enjoyed! We also enjoyed a superb New Zealand Pinot Noir from them - they are knocking a 1/3 off all wine ordered from their list.Thank you Patrick, Marino and your team for having something to look forward to at the end of our weeks during such uncharted times and hope that you have the support in what you are doing during this period.I also note on the website that Prima Donnas is offering a 50% discount at this time for the amazing NHS workers - bravo to all !

Just wanted to let the community know that we used their takeaway service on Sunday 5th April - it was fantastic and the same great standard as usual and can only recommended to all. Obviously a smaller menu but still plenty to please most. Well done PM - keep up the good work and hope to see you soon PS - it's important to support our local businesses particularly in this worrying, strange and somewhat bizarre situation we all find ourselves in.

Roast beef Sunday lunch delivered to our door during this difficult time of lockdown. Ordered at 12 for a 1.45 delivery and arrived spot on time. Meal was delicious. Support our local restaurants to keep them going.

Just had a lovely meal delivery the food was great and lovely and hot. We ordered at 2.30 for 7pm and it was bang on time, and a bonus bag of fruit and veg. Thank you to our favorite restaurant we were having withdrawal symptoms. Great job! Let’s support our local businesses.

Unable to open to the public due to isolating restrictions, Prima Donnas offered a delivery service to their customers. We phoned our order through on saturday evening and selected a delivery time for mothers day. The food arrived on time and hot. It was beautifully cooked as always. Thank you so much and well done. We are happy to support our local businesses where ever and when ever we can.

This may be our last trip to our favourite restaurant for a while given the current situation with the Corona Virus. Sadly our friends cancelled be were determined to enjoy our celebration. The staff were excellent and very understanding. Each one of our threee course meal was well cook and very tasty. With 175 m glass of wine plus coffee for under £50 in total how can you beat it! They have now started a home delivery service to keep the business going. They have my support!

We wanted to go somewhere local to enjoy a bottle of good wine and some oysters. We’ve lived down the road for 25 years and have dined here many tines. Tonight was just perfect. A cosy table for 2, a bottle of bubbly, half dozen oysters followed by a bottle of red and half dozen Rockefeller Oysters.

Have visited restaurant several times over the years found good service and food, but obnoxious diner was disruptive to other diners and disappointed waiter or owner, who were aware of disturbance to other diners took no action. Over priced , dated old fashioned restaurant that needs a total revamp. Menu confusing, too many choices on menu. Staff irritated if u complain about anything. No apologies all very rushed. Gordon Ramsey would liven this place up! Its living in a time warp . Messed up our order some of us served and finished our meals before others got theirs. Very unprofessional and chaotic when busy. Much better restaurants around. This is one to avoid in our view.

We visited Prima Donnas (for the early sitting) on New Year's Eve and enjoyed an excellent meal. There was a good choice of food that was well cooked and nicely presented, the service was prompt, the staff cheerful and efficient. A good end to 2019 and a good atmosphere to get us in the mood for 2020. Cheers!

Went on Christmas eve. Tried several times to find the menu online. I telephoned Prima Donna they said they were working on the menu. Any way wasn't available before we arrived. The menu for 3 courses was €50 believe me it was no at all inspiring. Service was okay. They couldn't even be bothered to put Xmas crackers on our table detail does matter. My son had to speak to a member of staff regarding the men's toilet needed servicing. What is happening to you Prima Donna. I will never go back again.

Visited this restaurant with my family over the Xmas/ new year period. First visit for myself and the children. Was very impressed with the size of the portions, children’s burger and chips would have been enough for an adult. Fish cake with poached egg was delicious and the mains were very nice too. Desserts were lovely especially the creme brûlée’s.

Enjoyed pre Christmas Sunday lunch here on two occasions this month,once with friends,the other with family. Food & service could not be faulted with the staff going out of their way to make both visits very enjoyable & memorable

Always a good meal here whether it be midWeek or Sunday lunch. Good service and staff happy to attend to every need. However can get a little noisy and this is only through people talking. They need a bigger venue or less tables!!

I have reviewed this restaurant previously (please refer to it) and am delighted to say that it has maintained its extremely high standards on each occasion that we have been there.

Visited a number of times over the years. Food is good; atmosphere is generally good. Just a pity it was - as always - very noisy. That’s due to so many people having a good time in a small space, gradually all talking louder and louder over see other. Can’t anything to be done to dampen it?

The food here is consistently good, very rarely is there something to complain about, and if there is they will try the utmost to fix it. Also they will change dishes to you liking if necessary I.e change the type of potatoes, or veg that comes with the standard dish. Have been going there for over 20 years.

Visité ayer para almorzar. 3 de nosotras, las damas que celebramos mi 50º cumpleaños, fue una decepción total. Optamos por los menús del almuerzo. el día con puré de carne de res Mash al igual que fuera de la nevera microondas y empujó en el plato grandes trozos de puré frío? Lo llamaría papas nuevas, rancias y frías. De nuevo comí schnitzel de pollo con puré, gran trozo de papas duras y duras como la roca, no el puré cremoso con mantequilla y esponjoso que esperaba que nos devolviera, no solo eso tuvo que salir corriendo para llenar el estacionamiento El medidor en la piscina de WW nunca más se quejó ante la administración de alimentos reemplazados, pero ni un gesto de buena voluntad ni siquiera tomó 3 refrescos de la factura muy decepcionante

No ha sido por un tiempo, así que estaba ansioso por esta visita. Todavía me pareció un lugar razonable, pero no tan bueno como solía ser. Esto se reflejó en la cantidad de lugares vacíos, un viernes por la noche. Cuando fuimos a reservar, queríamos 8 - 15 pero le dijimos que no fuera 8 - 30, pensando que estaría ocupado. Muchos espacios vacíos y muy poco ambiente No había pan y aceite de oliva complementarios como antes, creo que siempre tuvimos esto antes, y aunque mi entrante era bueno el plato principal de ternera en una salsa, la ternera estaba cubierta con la salsa, y muy pequeña porción de vegetales. Si bien no condenaría el servicio que fue atento y bueno, por su buena relación calidad-precio, el plato principal fue decepcionante, y ahora estaré buscando ir a otros lugares para probar como resultado. Siéntelo muy normal, como solía ser.

El almuerzo del 16º aniversario de bodas no estaba seguro de qué hacer, no quería ir demasiado lejos en el almuerzo, pensó Prima Donnas, no había estado en mucho tiempo.

12 de nosotros visitamos Prima Donnas para una fiesta de cumpleaños número 60 el sábado pasado por la noche. La elección de los platos fue excelente junto con la excelente calidad de la comida. El servicio también fue muy bueno, con toda la fiesta al mismo tiempo.

I have driven pass this restaurant many times and have never tried it as I was told it was expensive. Only when a friend suggested that we should go their for lunch did I find out it had an excellent fixed price menu. The food was excellent, the service first class and the bill £22 plus service which included an excellent glass of wine. What more can you ask for! So we keep on going as the fixed price menu is also offered for dinner during the week.

I have been here in the evening for Christmas dinner with my friend and also with clients for lunch and both times the service was really good and the food was excellent.

I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. We went as a large family party last Sunday and we all chose from the set 3 course Sunday menu. The options were excellent and varied to suit all tastes. The food was delicious and as a rare treat in restaurants these days, the desserts were all hand made, not your usual catering buy-ins. Excellent wine list - the Finca La Colonia Malbec is divine. Outstanding value for money. I don't know how they make a profit! The service was faultless. As a plus, this is a wheelchair accessible restaurant with an an accessible toilet. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I should have left after we were seated on the hottest day of the year but instead we stayed! We had expected the restaurant to be air conditioned and comfortable but instead temperature were up in the 30Cs! All the doors were open to the outside. We enjoyed the food but it was much too hot and others were feeling the heat too. Personally I think the doors to outside should have been shut and if people wanted to go outside that was their choice. We won't visited again during the hot weather.

Not been here for a while, never really got what everyone seemed to say about how good it was. Personally I always found the food average and overpriced, although the atmosphere was always lively. We decided to give it another chance, it had been a few years. Sorry to say it just doesn't come up to scratch. Waiters are unsmiling and unfriendly, but efficient. Special prawn starter was just salty and sauce was tasteless. Sea bass main was nice, but the side of fried zucchini was soggy in the middle and over salted. Mini assiette of Italian desserts was thrown unceremoniously onto the table so the limoncello jelly flopped over into the other puds and laid on its side looking sorry for itself. I would love to give this place a thumbs up, I'm always in favour of giving a local restaurant a good review but sorry Prima Donnas, we won't be back. It's a shame. And at £70 a head, it's not worth the money.

Dont pay cash for meal service harge waa added on as normal for restaurant but then they took another £8 when questioned they said didn't have any change !!

Lista de vinos extensa y razonable. El principal problema es la venta ascendente. 3 para el pan! Usted esperaría pan con moules marinier, pero eso le costaría 3 extra y tendría que pagar por la mantequilla que no quería. Para colmo, cobraron 7. 50 por unos 25 ml de lbv puerto. ¡Lo intentaremos de nuevo en otros diez años!

La última vez que estuvimos en Prima Donnas fue en gran medida un menú italiano. Si bien todavía hay un sabor de esto, ahora hay mucho más, especialmente pescado y algunos buenos platos picantes. Los precios no son baratos pero la comida es abundante.

¡Guauu! La comida era estupenda. El servicio es de primera clase: asistí a una gran fiesta aquí y no podía fallar en absoluto en el servicio. Los cócteles eran tan buenos. El almuerzo del domingo fue delicioso, los espárragos y el jamón de Parma estaban deliciosos. La coliflor servida con el asado es crujiente y suculenta uno de los mejores trocitos. La carne fue cocinada a la perfección. Ojalá fuera local para nosotros, pero lamentablemente no.

Lo clavé de nuevo. Hace más de 20 años fuimos y un menú muy variado fue perjudicial. Ahora, un menú perfectamente dimensionado y variado que parece permitir calidad sobre cantidad. Hemos estado para el almuerzo el día de la semana y el fin de semana, la cena entre semana y el fin de semana. Ni una sola vez ha sido sorprendente.
