Prezzo - Ringwood in New Forest

Last Friday I had a best Gorgonzola burger with a nice flavour and preparation,juice burger and truffle fries also delicious we really recommend it

What a gem this place is. Service was first class. Food and drink were excellent. Atmosphere was so nice too. Free nearby parking a bonus. Beats paying Bournemouth parking charges to get to BH2.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Prezzo Ringwood last Wednesday , and I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our server, Lorraine , was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and make excellent recommendations. The food was simply outstanding - I ordered the Gorgonzola burguer, and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and exciting, and the presentation was stunning. But what really impressed me was the attention to detail and the clear passion that the entire team has for delivering an exceptional dining experience. From the chef's creative touches to the thoughtful touches throughout the restaurant, it's clear that Prezzo is a labor of love. I've been to many restaurants, but Prezzo Ringwood stands out as one of the best. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious dining experience. We can't wait to come back!

Easy access in Ringwood town centre with close parking. Pleasant reception and service with excelent food. I never feel that I am in a chain as service is individual and personal with good food. It would be nice to se a return to your excellent Risottos. Will call again.

Ringwood Prezzo is fantastic- staff always smiling - food excellent lovely atmosphere.

This was buy one main get the other for a pound. Starter, Garlic Bread. Piece of pizza dough not cooked enough so doughy and not particularly garlic.. Main course meat lovers pizza, cold, not cooked well and doughy. 5/10 at best. Not nice Main course Knocki with sausage was very good Desert, vastly overpriced for two small bits of ice cream a bit of cream. £8.75!! So overall not going back and will go to Pizza Express where we should have gone, 100 times better.

Prezzo as we like it ! Very polite and welcoming staff. In spite of being overworked...only 2 of them to man the seating, the orders , the service etc ... These 2 men were really trying their best for a pretty busy sitting ! Our food arrived quite quickly, hot and delicious. The place itself is a bit ...squashed and dark but the atmosphere was good and jolly !

My daughter & I love the Prezzo burgers - we arrived after 2pm for a late lunch. Very tasty meat with separate sauce. 2 delicious burgers prepared perfectly with a generous portion of French fries. Lorraine was a friendly, efficient waitress. Prezzo in Ringwood is great & can get really busy in the evenings. Best to book a table for special occasions. It's worth checking their special seasonal offers. If you have a diner's card like Tastecard or Gourmet card on your phone, tell them when you arrive. Non-alcoholic drinks available are limited. Could do with Ginger Beer, sparkling Elderflower, Pelligrino's full range of flavours, a variety of flavoured Slimline Tonic waters.

Waited a while to be seen at the entrance and for a table, despite booking. Not overly friendly from the older gentleman serving. The ladies were fine. Food was quickly delivered to the table. When we came to the pay the bill, I was using the blue light card discounts/voucher and they clearly didn’t like this. I had everything I needed and yet they made me log into my account in front of them to see it for themselves. Their attitude to this was not good at all. I was just an inconvenience to them. Not professional and very abrupt. Ruined the evening actually.

Very good service ,we were asked several times by staff if everything was to our satisfaction. The food was excellent and the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere.

Really enjoyed tonight's meal , full of flavour and such amazing staff. Really welcoming. But most importantly the price paid for food was well worth it. Will be back, we had lasagne and the new lobster an crab ravioli which was just yummy and wanting more , will be back soon , thank you very much , really lovely restaurant .

Very busy on a Saturday and waited a long time tomordwr and foos to come about 45 mins before food came. I think fully booked and short on staff . Wait 10.mins for dessert menu by which time we got the bill and left. Pity and the new food was very good and they were just so busy. They worked very hard that night

Visited Prezzo, Ringwood, we had vouchers for 2 for 1 and free bootle of presecco , we were told we could use only one?. We decided on 2 for 1 , we wanted 2 X Tre carne calzones, we wanted to change one from side salad to fries, we were told that we cannot change, we have eatan at Prezzo all over the country and it's the first time in 10+ years this request has been refused, we feel it is" VERY MEAN SPIRITED " of the waiter, We won't be eating in future at PREZZO !!!! We have given 1 star as we think this is appalling service

Very poor service tonight , booked for 7 pm got our starters at approx 7-45 pm .When our starters were taken away we were told it would be a wait for our main meal it arrived at 9 pm . Restaurant was very cold we moved table as was by the door . Had the crab pasta ,had to hunt for the crab and it was very watery .The lasagna however was very good

Pleasant quiet stop off from our journey. Our meal was the best we’d had in a Prezzo (and we’ve had many). Service was friendly & efficient and our food was served promptly. Highly recommended.

Diabolical customer service. Booked bottomless aperitivo on Thursday at 8pm and it allowed me to book. On arrival we were told it’s available to 5pm. Waitress was ever so polite but manager didn’t bother to speak to us or apologise. We showed them terms&cons to prove on website it was listed as Thursday all day. Not listened so just stood up and left. Will never return. Disappointed and disrespected is an understatement. It was my friends birthday….what a shame!

We've been to several Prezzo restaurants over the years. This is by far the best one we've been to. The service was attentive and friendly, and very accommodating to our 2 year old. The food was so tasty and as a result, for the first time at ones of their restaurants, we managed to finish both of our mains. Cannot fault this restaurants and it's staff. Highly recommended

From free parking directly outside, with a friendly genuine Italian welcome, to delicious hot food, I sincerely recommend this restaurant in a lovely old town with interesting independent shops. Recommend the Antipasto sharing starter, Spaghetti Carbonara and Crab/Lobster Ravioli, all excellent tasty dishes, plus Italian Lemonade drinks. Well done Prezzo. 👏🥂

Upmarket pasta and pizza restaurant, nice meal selection, smartly decorated and surprisingly large capacity. We had a great meal here.

Beware if you have any special dietary requirements!! It took over 20 minutes of going back & forth to the kitchen to keep checking what I could eat. 3 times I was told a dish would be ok to be told 5 minutes later that it did in fact contain an ingredient I was allergic to!! Finally I settled on grilled chicken, chips & salad. To say the chicken was dry was an understatement, had to ask for a sauce so that it was easier to chew. The final nail in the coffin was a £30 bill, an unappetising meal & 2 pepsi’s (£4.25 each)!! Come on Prezzo, you can do better than this 😡

Was given a complimentary voucher for a bottle of prosecco by Prezzo for my birthday and was able to use Tesco vouchers for our meals so it was win-win

Food was all delicious and piping hot, no negatives at all from our table of 9. The lemon meringue pie and biscoff cheesecake were the perfect ending and pleasant and efficient service too, thank you.

This is the prezzo I would go to in the area. Nice food and staff.

Just home from a wonderful evening here. The food was delicious, great service and our lovely waitress was so kind and patient. We were a group of 10 and were perfectly accommodated. Highly recommend… we’ll be back 👍

Food was good and well presented. The staff were pleasant too. The venue is rather dark however, especially in the front area by the dark brick wall. We could hardly read our menus. Spotlights pointed towards the pictures on the wall, leaving our table in the dark! Candles on the table would make the atmosphere much better and give a warmer feel. I ordered Diet Coke but was brought Diet Pepsi - entirely different drink. I was asked what I wanted to drink before I'd looked the drinks menu so I should have been told when I ordered. Would definitely prefer non-mixed toilets, a real no no for me. My companions didn't like that either. We had a long journey so had to use them before leaving but it's put us off returning, even more than the lack of Diet Coke! The plus side is that you know what you're going to get if you're familiar with the Prezzo menus. Unfortunately we didn't see the set menu choices until we were on our way out. A pile of them were on the shelf but we weren't offered it which was rather annoying.

Welcoming venue! The team were spot on service was excellent as was the menu and really great food. Clean and today and thoroughly enjoyable!

Decent food and good friendly service. No atmosphere as I was the only person in the restaurant unsurprisingly for 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Haven't been to Prezzo for a while and hadn't realised how expensive it has become. £7.25 for a pint of lager, £4.25 for a Pepsi.

Really enjoy prezzo, adore Italian food and had a wonderful time. Food good value, atmosphere very nice, candles and intimate. Cozy with quickly delivered food.

Unfortunately, we chose an evening when there was a party of over 50 children. Long wait for food - not waiters' fault possibly not enough chefs! Wonder why took so many other bookings when restaurant aware of the large party.

Food was fine, reasonably standard Italian. Service was unbelievably slow, unresponsive and we were made to feel unwelcome. Wouldn't go back here.

Had a takeaway the gluten free pizza was very good and the service excellent.

Came here early evening for my birthday meal, was fairly quiet, but beautiful restaurant inside and lovely atmosphere. I ordered the ham and mascarpone cheese pizza, which was a large size, very well made base, and loaded with a very generous amount of a large variety of different toppings. It was incredibly filling and tasty and therefore very good value indeed. Both the waiter and waitress provided outstanding customer service throughout. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly attentive and very polite. A truly wonderful evening in every way!

Highlights 1) Plenty of free parking around the restaurant during the evening 2) the waitress was bright and cheerful. But oh dear the downsides 1) three out of four main courses overcooked 2) negligible salmon in a salmon dish 3) overpriced 4) last visit at the price-point they think they are serving at.

Seemed a little overpriced for what you actually got, somewhat small portions, although very tasty food, a shame, as it wasn't very hot either, served on cold plates and had slightly undercooked ravioli pasta. Basic meal had no vegetables and sides were extra. The starter also had frozen sun dried tomatoes but that was rectified. No time to complain further as we were on a schedule and could not have waited any longer. Restaurant was quite busy but not packed. Pizzas looked better. Without a discount voucher (which are usually readily available) the food seemed relatively expensive. Somewhat disappointed to be honest as other restaurants in the chain have been better. Would go again though.

Overpriced, reheated food. Starters were nice, mains not so good. Prezzo seem to over price their food knowing that you'll have a voucher to hand.. service was good however. It would just be nice to have freshly cooked dishes. I'll go back to lovitaly next time...

Lured back in with a voucher we were very excited for our visit. I was really dissapointed to see that they do not accept cash, especially these days where people are tending to deal in cash to help with budgeting during a cost of living crisis. I paid just shy of £18 for a prawn risotto which was wet and tasteless. I had the chocolate and cherry sundae and hurt my tooth when I discovered a cherry pit. Service was good but the food let it down. I just felt totally ripped off.

We came for a family dinner out, the food was lovely and prompt (I swear the food is better here than at other branches I’ve been to) but the service made the meal. Charlotte served us and was incredibly attentive and friendly - particularly helping us when we were complicated when ordering and we changed a meal with no fuss and with such speed after there was confusion about the order! Thank you Charlotte, you’ve been lovely!

Booked using the Meerkat voucher. Greeted at the door shown to our table as if we were royalty - you’re not a customer you’re a guest. The food was superb our two grandchildren demolished their 3 course kids meals. Highly recommend.

We visited on a Friday evening as we were staying locally. The restaurant looks small & it looks like ot os closed from the street but we went in & were greeted by friendly staff & a table was provided quickly. It was busy but staff were attentive & the food was great. My son loves a prezzo pizza.

We went for dinner and waited too long for our food to arrive. I ordered Calzone which was only warm and not piping hot as usual. My granddaughter found a bone in her chicken burger. We told the waitress and when we received the bill they hadn’t deducted the cost of that meal. When l asked the waitress to deduct the cost she told me it had been. I paid by card but then asked the manager about it and she agreed we shouldn’t have been charged for that meal. She said she couldn’t refund on my card and would need to make a bank transfer which l declined and said the refund should be made on the method of payment, my credit card. By now my patience had been exasperated. She phoned head office but then decided to give me a cash refund for my granddaughter’s meal. Such a saga due to the waitress not handling the situation properly, possible a training issue. We shan’t be rushing to return although we have been regular customers for many years.

Really nice derives from Luciana. Lovely and polite throughout, quick service despite being busy and food was nice. Cleared our table quickly and checked on us a lot. Good experience and will definitely return

What a delight. After finding most of the local eateries poor on service (walked out of three other places) or not serving food, I stumbled onto this Prezzo. An exceptional meet and greet, had a drink and table water within minutes and a delicious Chicken Rigatoni followed by a Honeycomb Smash Cheese cake. This was exactly what I needed after a rubbish afternoon. The restaurant was spotless. Every member of the team was on the ball, polite and kept the place immaculate. Thank you very, very much.

Definitely a cut above similar chains. We were hungry and shared a couple of starters plus mains and a salad. Everything was really tasty and the setting was nice. I loved that they have an option of vegetarian hard cheese. NB other Italian restaurants, parmesan is never vegetarian.

My first visit to the Ringwood branch since the sad closure of the Wimborne branch. Not disappointed and it brought back memories of when my late wife and I regularly dined after attending the church opposite

I had the pleasure of dining at Prezzo on Father's Day with my family. We were all very impressed with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Lorraine, was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. She also made sure that our drinks were always full and that our food was cooked to perfection. The food was absolutely delicious. We all ordered different dishes, and each one was better than the last. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauces were flavorful, and the desserts were decadent. The atmosphere at Prezzo is warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a rustic Italian style, and the lighting is dim and romantic. We felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout our meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Prezzo. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal with excellent service. Special mention to Lorraine and Luciana for handling the busy Father's Day crowd with such grace and professionalism. They made our visit truly special.

I have eaten here several times and will continue to do so. The food has always been good in my experience and I have never had a bad meal. My only criticism is that it is becoming a bit expensive, but then again, isn't everything!

Visited on a Saturday at 3pm. Fully aware no chef of waiter wants to serve anyone at this time. Surprisingly, the reception was impeccable, service great and food above standard.

I luv going to Italian restaurants in Prezzo I would recommend that kind of service and its warming to meet up with friends and Carers it was lovely to be together plus also nice to have family inviting too, the food was absolute divine it was tasty and very delicious so I give them 💯 to invite us so thank u soo much and have a Happy Christmas too u all and Happy New Year.

Been here over the years and always been very good, however the last two time have been a bit disappointing. Last night the food was very good, however the service wasn’t especially the young man who really didn’t seem interested. A young lady service us drinks and she was friendly and great but then we got the man again and he just seemed not bothered. We had no check back during our meal to see if it was good, which is was but would have been nice to of checked. When the bill came it is the first time I haven’t tipped which I felt bad about but my family persuaded me not to, especially as apart from handed me the machine he didn’t say anything! Perhaps he was having a bad night.

Great food and great service could not fault anything

I rarely left negative review about restaurants but I feel I have to for this one. My daughter and I went there last Sunday. She ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and I ordered Crab and Lobster Ravioli. The service was slow, the atmosphere was so so. When the dinner finally arrived, my daughter commented this is worse than her school lunch (she studies at a public school where we pay £3 for lunch!) mine one was so awful (strong fishy smell, Ravioli wasn’t even cooked) that I have to send it back. The waiter was kind enough to ask me to order something else which came quickly. I replaced my order with Prawn Spaghetti which was nicer. Tomato source does taste like ketch up though - it’s unusually sweet. The next morning, both of us woke up with an upset stomach….. It literally was the worst experience I’ve ever had…

I couldn’t find anywhere to eat in the town until I found Prezzo. The lady at the reception was very welcoming and she kindly gave me a table for one. The food was delicious and looked very appealing. I had 5 star service from Summer who was so lovely that I wish all waiting staff were like her. She was attentive, kind and always smiling. All waiting staff should aspire to be like her. What a lovely lady! If I am ever in the town again I will definitely pop into Prezzo :)

Always very lovely staff and a warm welcome. Food always comes out fast, hot and delicious every time. Will continue to return time and time again as have never had a bad experience or a less than perfect meal.

Our first visit to Prezzo & we were looking forward to trying their vegan options. We ordered the ‘chicken’ and roasted peppers pizza. The base was ok. But for £15 it was a total let down. There were only six slices of peppers on the pizza, large and awkward to eat pieces of vegan chicken. The presentation was appalling - it wasn’t appetising - just uninspiring. Prezzo should be offering more vegetable options on their vegan pizzas. Why not offer a vegan vegetariana? Not every pizza needs a meat substitute on it. The waitress was excellent but unfortunately her service was taken over by a male who had no passion at all for his job and was not at all engaging with customers. Not impressed.

Good food but getting well pricey now. Pizza served on plate gets cold quickly.

It’s such a shame that the food in Prezzo Ringwood has deteriorated. As another reviewer remarked, it always used to serve perfectly average food at an average price and the atmosphere and service very good. Now the food is expensive and not very good. We were a party of eleven for an early evening meal. Two children’s meals. The pizzas were dry and not much topping. In an Italian restaurant???? I had chicken Marsala. It came with three or four spinach leaves and crispy fries. Should have had new potatoes and veg and would have been ok for the price. The children’s pudding consisted of some dry bits of bread ( or pizza?)to be dipped in chocolate sauce. Neither could eat it. Having said the food wasn’t good I have to say that the staff were lovely and worked hard. A cake I had left with the kitchen staff was brought out with candles lit and the birthday girl was thrilled. The ambience of this restaurant has always been and still is very good. We hadn’t been since before lockdown and now so disappointed with the food. I gave the three stars for the staff.

Went to Prezzo for a change - we usually go to Pizza Express in Christchurch. The ambience of the restaurant is definitely better at Prezzo but still welcoming for children. The service was also good, the waiter was very attentive (my wife dropped a fork at one point and a new one arrived within 10 seconds... in many restaurants it takes 10 minutes just to get a waiter's attention! The main problem was the dolce e piccante pizza which was very disappointing... the base was fine (albeit a little small) but the topping covered about half of the pizza - 7 salami pieces and 3 very small pieces of n'duja sausage... contrast with the calabrese pizza at Pizza Express which is a wonderful combination of flavours. I wouldn't have minded so much but at almost £18 I would expect something a little more special. So I am afraid we will not be returning any time soon, even though the Prezzo restaurant is a much more pleasant environment to eat in.
