Prezzo - Peterborough in Peterborough

Mi esposa y yo hemos estado en algunos restaurantes Prezzo en todo el país, incluyendo el de Peterborough. Hoy ( 29 / 10 / 24 ) mi esposa reservó una mesa para nosotros y dos nietos pequeños. Llegué para registrarme delante de los demás, se me mostró a una mesa y se le dieron los menús, así como se le preguntó sobre las alergias alimentarias. A la camarera se le habló de una alergia a los lácteos y a los frutos secos de los nietos, pero nada más se acercó. Cuando estábamos todos sentados, se tomó una orden de bebidas que tardó una eternidad en llegar. Mi esposa preguntó sobre lo que estaba disponible para alguien con alergias alimentarias y esta camarera no pudo responder. Otra camarera se acercó a la mesa y nos dirigieron al código QR del menú que trataba de explicar lo que se podía comer. La elección no fue muy inspiradora, particularmente para un niño de 6 años. Eventualmente hicimos nuestros pedidos que incluían entrantes y tuberías. Los titulares llegaron por los nietos, los nuestros un poco más tarde. Pasaron unos 15 minutos después de terminar los arrancadores antes de que se retiraran las placas. Planteé el problema del mal servicio a una camarera especialmente porque ahora estábamos teniendo una larga espera para el plato principal, solo para que nos dijeran que había problemas de personal y solo 3 personas en la cocina. Respondí con: ‘Estoy a punto de salir’, lo que no fue respondido. La red finalmente llegó y era bastante mediocre en sabor. Sin entrar en detalles, el servicio (estuvimos en el restaurante durante la mayor parte de 2 horas para el almuerzo! ) la calidad de la comida estaba bien. Mi esposa y yo no volveremos a este Prezzo en el corto plazo.

Salimos a Prezzo un jueves por la noche. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente y amable. Las opciones de comida eran excelentes. Tenía la lingüina de cangrejo y para empezar teníamos una tabla antipasti para compartir. Las carnes eran frescas encantadora burrata buenos panes planos frescos. Realmente fue una comida deliciosa en un entorno encantador. El chef David era muy servicial que también estaba sirviendo, ya que tenían poco personal, lo que no afectó a nada. Sin duda recomendaría ir aquí a comer.

Reservamos el día antes del Día del Padre y nos sorprendió gratamente que nos pudieran acomodar, aunque a las 12 : 00 de la tarde. Cuando llegamos el restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío, pero para cuando nos fuimos era una historia diferente. Lo que creí que dificultaba nuestro servicio a medida que avanzaba nuestra comida. Una amable señora nos sentó y nos dio nuestros menús. Unas cuantas máquinas después pedimos y los entrantes se sirvieron rápidamente y todo el mundo estaba contento con la comida. No hay quejas hasta ahora. Esperamos unos 20 minutos y nuestros platos todavía no estaban despejados, así que apilamos nuestros platos al final de la mesa para indicar que estaban terminados. Una vez despejada nuestra mesa, esperamos otros 30 minutos hasta que nos sirvieron la red eléctrica - había una mesa grande al lado de nosotros que nos quejábamos de la espera de su comida. Nuestras comidas principales salían en goteros y gotas, la mía era la última en salir y me decepcionó muchísimo, era muy acuosa y carecía de cualquier tipo de condimento. El resto de nuestra fiesta también se sintió decepcionado por la falta de sabor y sabor de la comida. Pedimos los postres como queríamos, nos gustaría no molestarnos. A £ 7 - £ 8 para un postre esperábamos porciones mucho más grandes y mejor presentación. En general, una ubicación perfecta justo en la plaza principal con una bonita zona de estar fuera, pero nos decepcionó la comida y la velocidad del servicio. ¡No nos apresuraremos a volver!

Increíble restaurante italiano Fue una experiencia maravillosa, tuvimos una experiencia muy agradable El tiempo y la comida era increíble. La mejor comida italiana que tuvimos desde Italia. La hospitalidad era increíble también. Gracias Tsvety por su hospitalidad y maravillosa sonrisa. Realmente recomiendo este restaurante si quieres probar la increíble comida italiana.

The initial 1st initial bill completed by the evening manager was incorrect by £10 extra than it should have been (£48.40), due to the 2x desssert not taken off the final amount, due to QR code sent Prezzo via email and presented before ordering dessert, but the one pint of beer subtracted which shouldn’t have been. The 2nd revised bill, now the one pint of beer was added back on, and only one dessert was subtracted, when after the initial 1st bill, it was pointed out to the evening manager shown for the 3rd time that evening that both desserts at £7.95 should have been subtract front the bill and not just a single dessert, being an accountant, I even written on the bill that it should be no more than £48.40 (1st bill £57.30, 2nd bill £56.35), it was a evening outing to celebrate a specially occasion, which was ruin, at the thought there were 10-12 other customer in pairs during our 2hr at the restaurant, and it clearly appear a deliberate overcharging tactic after highlighting the issue twice, totally disgusting behaviour of the manager, as even the male waiter confirmed upon seeing the free dessert QR code, it was final rectified at the 4th attempt, 10/12 customer every 2hour, on an 8hr shift clearly amount to a health margin mark up, customer definitely need to be vigilant on the final total bill, overall the service, food, alcohol, waiter and waitress were faultless, unfortunately same can’t be said about the manager who appeared to do the final bill for every customer.

A fantastic time at Prezzo Peterborough, mena & Paula are so lovely, nothing is to much trouble, food good , just want to say thank you for making my sister's birthday really special.

Waitress could not be less bothered if she tried. Group of 8 out for birthday celebrations and this was rather poor. Pizza so dry and hard, chicken burger tough, garlic bread never arrived despite asking twice if it was coming. No one offered second drinks. Awful smell of drains too. Would not return.

So I requested a table for 3, waiting for my daughter and friend to join me. The girls arrived 25 minutes later, i still hadnt been offered a drink. We ordered and service was fairly swift, 20 minutes. My daughter had the carbonara. It was in an oily sauce, nothing like the creamy sauce we've had previously. The meat was chewy and not very nice at all. There was no lasagne available in this restaurant, so the friend ordered a pizza which, to be fair, was ok. The waiter was rude and looked annoyed that I double checked he'd written down decaf coffee, I was then bought a standard coffee. The waitress was lovely though. We won't be returning, there are plenty of restaurants in Peterborough with far superior food and more importantly, far more polite staff.

Asked 3 times for a kids menu after waiter kept coming up to take our order. Had to ask 3/4 times for the drink that was left off. Peach Bellini I had and glass was half full. I had chicken, prosciutto and sage. Sauce was meant to be white wine sauce. It was just yellow water no thickness to it at all I nearly lost it off my plate when I took my plate from the waiter.

Mushroom and celeriac risotto was basically a bowl of rice. There must have been two mushrooms max, chopped really small. Very poor value for £15

Food was plain and basic. Mains didn’t look or taste cooked. All was like warm at best. She brought the mains out whilst we were still eating our starters. Wasn’t happy so she said she’d take it back but being concerned about how it would come out, didn’t bother. Not enough room on the table for everything so we had to put starters on main plates. Chicken very chewy, barely ate any of it. Even the chips were poor. Pasta dish was child size portion at adult size cost. So called mixed salad was just leaves with a bit of cucumber and tomato. Wondered when we walked in why it was quiet when everywhere else was vibrant. Turned out everyone else knew the food wasn’t good. Had to find more food when home as still very hungry. Will never go to another prezzo.

I honestly regret choosing this restaurant . Haven’t been here for couple of years and was expecting to have the same great experience as before , oh well what a disappointment! What has happened to it ?! Sad looking and tasting food , not worth the price . From 5 stars dropped to 1 . Family of 4 paid over £90 and sadly this wasn’t worth at all . Restaurant understaffed , they also forgot to bring the dessert . Won’t be coming back .

We ended up at Prezzo as this was the restaurant our daughter chose. We hadn't made a booking but it was no problem to the young lady behind the bar. We all ordered starters, one was their new Chicken, Orzo & Cannellini Bean Soup. My daughter said it was delicious however the orzo and cannellini were missing from the soup though "the chicken made up for it". The OH's arancini were delicious (according to him) and my calamari were too. The chicken Caesar salad looked good though the daughter said there was a little too much dressing - I suggested she should ask for the dressing on the side in future. Both the OH and I were very happy we ordered the regular sized pizzas, he had the salami pizza while I tried the goat's cheese and roasted peppers pizza. Great pizzas, thin base and plenty of toppings. Tonight (Tuesday - 02.08.23) there were only two members of staff serving customers and the restaurant was getting quite busy when we were leaving. Instead of having these two members of staff practically running around the restaurant, taking orders, making the drinks, serving food, producing the bill, etc it may be an idea to have someone specifically behind the bar, customers always need a drink even if it's just tap water. Even though both members of staff were very busy they were attentive to the customers. I agree with others who have said Prezzo is pricey so it won't be a place we go on a regular basis even though the food is good, unless we have a voucher ;-).

Enjoyed a tasty fish dish whilst my partner tried chicken with spinach in a tasty sauce. Main concern was the price of the drinks. Small bottle of non alcoholic beer was £6.00 a bottle, which we felt was a rip off. As we had a discount code the food was value for money. We have been many times before but sadly today was shocking. All we could hear was heavy banging of plates. We made a complaint and the staff member just ignored us and walked away. Two minutes later you could see the chef banging the plate on purpose and staff laughing. Absolute shocking. Also food was poor.

Stopped for lunch, had a friendly welcome and was able to choose our seat. All our food was delicious and service was great. Would return.

Mariusz from Peterborough filled in at our local Prezzo, it was so busy with just him and one other member of staff. He worked his socks off and made sure there wasn’t a long wait for anyone and remained calm and polite throughout. Thought he deserved a mention.

With our voucher for a free bottle of wine we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch of pizza and lasagne dishes. Both were very tasty and served by friendly staff .

Very good service and food is nice but the pice is a bit too much, if I haven’t got Tesco voucher, I won’t go there, such a pity the food is good. They charge £20 for my friend chicken carbonara. Service is spot on

Our starters took ages to come out. The deed fried mozzarella (clearly from a packet) was frozen in the middle. We asked for our mains straight away instead. The wait for these was ok but my husband’s pizza had a small strip of metal on it. The manager got another one done when we told her but this one was barely cooked.They were clearly short staffed in the kitchen, not helped by the big Deliveroo orders we saw going out. The front of house staff did a good job though. And our son like his child’s pizza.

Unplanned lunch for two on a Friday afternoon.Starters, calamari and prawns in a tomato and chilli sauce. Prawns dish bit lacking in taste and could have been warmer in temperature.Mains, chicken, bacon and avocado salad and Chicken burger, both tasty.Not much atmosphere and only a couple of tables occupied. Really bad customer service from a rude manager when explained that a draught was blowing in on me all night. Manager did not offer another table completely ruined a night out and food because cold really quickly.

The service was ok, the building is reasonable and welcoming and they are definitely dealing with Covid as safely as they can. The food on the other hand is just so bland and boring. My starter of “CRISPY FRIED MOZZARELLA” was not crispy and was like a kids meal in regards of flavour with a big pot of tomato sauce. The main course was just as bad. I know this is a chain but there are others that do it so much better. We won’t be going back.

My wife loves coming here but I find the price is a bit too high. It may just be myself however everything seems to take the same. I must say though that really stands out and whenever I am forced to come out with the wife is usually I only order as you cannot find somebody there anywhere else in Peterborough

Delicious pizzas - in my opinion best in Peterborough. Fresh and very good ingredients. Staff very attentive and friendly. Service was quick and easy. First time back after the lockdown, will be back again soon!

Went on a Wednesday and pre booked online before visiting. Hand gel on arrival and well laid out for distancing. Quick service and friendly staff. Great food and absolute bargain as menu is half price (except alcohol) during August on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Will definitely be back.

Our experience of Prezzo has been mixed. At the top end has been Newmarket which is fabulous, to the opposite extreme Eccleshall road Sheffield where we didn't even get to go in.Well this was definitely one of the best.All staff were amazingly efficient. Great experience.

Usual Prezzo menu. Does not disappoint. Staff friendly, prompt service. Food was good and well presented. Good drinks menu, cocktails good. Nice decor, good atmosphere. Worth a visit.

We had a lovely date night at Prezzo. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was hot and tasty and the wine was chilled. My only complaint would be we were near to the door and it was a bit clinical up front and lacked atmosphere. I had the GARLIC BREAD WITH BALSAMIC ONIONS & MOZZARELLA to start and it was very tasty although the way it was presented was poor. My fiance had the ITALIAN HUMMUS which was served with lots of pitta and he enjoyed very much. For mains I had the TRE CARNI CALZONE which was well presented and hot and tasty. My partner had the CALABRESE BURGER which he loved. Overall a great visit.

One of our favourite places to eat in Peterborough. Might be because not a lot of places offer burrata cheese. Service is always fast and friendly.Although after our visit on Valentine’s Day I was left a bit disappointed. Everything seemed rushed, pizza was more oily than usual and nothing felt like Valentines day. This didn’t put us off though.We will definitely come back.

My husband, myself and 2 grandchildren visited Prezzo on a very busy December lunchtime. We have been on many occasions, and can honestly say the food is always very tasty and well presented. We also had a voucher, so the children could have 3 courses for £1 each.

Noisy, busy, bussling place. Not relaxing, more vibrant. Prezzo Peterborough is doing a roaring evening trade, and deservedly so, if you just evaluate the food offering. We had their custom burger (good but not special), and the mealball pasta (which was amazing, full of flavours and very original). Deserts were also to die for, with the honeycomb crunch and the chocolate ball brownie coming up trumps.

Lovely catch up with friends made better by a good meal and atmosphere in this Italian restaurant. Service was good and selection on the menu plentiful. Well presented and tasty.

We were there to celebrate our grandson’s 18th birthday. There were 12 of us with him. Drink orders took a while to arrive. The staff were very busy but maintained a positive,friendly attitude. Orders were eventually taken. There was a delay of nearly 30 minutes before the starter arrived. The food was very good. Very wide range of high quality Italian platters was exceptional. Again a lengthy delay before desserts were served. The whole meal lasted three hours. That was not in fact a problem as it was a family gathering and we enjoyed a good chat.

Went for lunch with family members, three of whom were aged 6 and under. Staff were terrific and obviously working hard to make the whole experience enjoyable. Service was quick and food was well cooked and delicious. Great children's menu with three courses and drinks for under £4 and the whole bill including drinks came to just over £70 making this a reasonable meal out fro large family groups. Seriously cannot fault this place and the surroundings were extremely pleasant and clean. Also light versions of pasta and pizza around 400 calories.

Ordered the large veggie pizza and only got three Olives on it. When brought to the attention of the staff, a small bowl of olives was delivered to our table.

We entered the restaurant with high expectations but a positive outlook from all of the positive things we have read about.

Visited on a Monday evening. Glad I booked earlier in the day as it was quite busy. Order take quickly but had to wait quite a while for our drinks. I had the Calamari and then the Calabrese Burger with a Citrus Cooler Mocktail from the £15.95 Summer Menu. Calamari was nice and not greasy. Burger was ( for me ) very filling but the fries that it came with needed more cooking and were greasy. The Citrus Cooler was lovely though. The rest of my party had Margherita pizza ( nice if a little bland), TRADITIONAL LASAGNE ( that was lovely) and POSH PEPPERONI ( which was very large). We had dropped in a birthday cake earlier in the day and they were nice enough to bring it at the end of our meal with a candle and wished us happy birthday, a lovely touch, thank you. Would defiantly visit again. Top tip; book in advance.

Greeted warmly by a nice staff member and as asked if we would like to sit inside or outside. We went outside and were taken promptly greeted by a huge rat which made us run for cover. It wasn't a big deal for us as we were outside after all so these things will happen. Very impressed that a worker immediately came out and washed and scrubbed the outside though. One item forgot from our order but when reminded this was delivered immediately and taken off our bill. Only gripe was the very small Polish lady clearing tables who was smiled at by myself and my friend and once again glared at us with a cross face! How she hangs onto her job amazes me! Would make this my regular if the customer service was consistent

I've written a couple of reviews about Prezzo in the past, so I'm not going to go over the menu etc. again. I have two little moans, and a lot of praise.

My friend and I went to prezzo on a. Very Busy day, they was a Tom Jones concert in Peterborough that day so It was extremely busy but the service was excellent the food was delicious and staff worked their socks off I was very impressed, I will definitely be going back soon

Went with friends as part of a 50th birthday week celebration. All had starters , well I did once I reminded the very loud server that I was still waiting on mine as my friends tucked in to theirs.

We are frequent visitors to a Prezzo whenever we are out and about and always find the service and food excellent.

We had a voucher and visited Friday. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the food was very nice. A decent range of pizza and pasta with salads and risotto, I would visit again.

This restaurant consistently delivers and is a firm favourite of ours in Peterborough. Thanks for another good meal.

Reasonable kids menu for 6,75, and good pasta dishes for 10-14 pounds. Pasta portions are not small, but not too big either, so some entry or salad is suggested. Our only complaint was that the service was quite slow, at least with us. It is not easy to have children seated for so long waiting for each course... We spent more than 1 1/2 hour overall, while in most places we are ready in about 45 min.

My friend Matthew, his lovely girlfriend, Maria, Sam and myself visited Prezzo last Saturday. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. I have a very MINOR niggle and that is the size of the 4-seater tables. They are, to me, a leetle bit small when you have four plates, at least four glasses and bottle of Pepsi/beer/bottle of wine, wine glasses, menus, and other bits and bobs, ie. table decorations. BUT, this is, as I said, a very small point.

The restaurant is cheerless, drab and dull with no atmosphere whatsoever. There wasn't even a small flower vase on each table with a single bloom. The starters were both lacklustre and at nearly £7 each were overpriced. … a few dry small mushrooms with a nondescript stuffing and a bowl of mayonnaise presented with a bedraggled lettuce shred was poor and calamari was no better. The main course were either over spiced--in the case of the lobster and crab ravioli or under flavoured as in the stodgy chicken and asparagus risotto.. what they did have in common was that they were both overpriced . So why didn't I complain... when taking a friend out to lunch who is recovering from a stressful illness it's not appropriate to create stress in that situation by complaining... my friend did comment that the ravioli had too much heat which ruined the other flavours. We were waiting for coffee orders to be taken but it took so long that we gave up and had coffee elsewhere. The only redeeming feature was that by using my Tastecard I didn't pay the full cost of over £40 for this disappointing food. I shall not be visiting this restaurant again or recommending it to anyone. I have had many meals in Prezzo King's Lynn and been much more satisfied that I was today.

Everything very well presented and tasty.Special mention for the Cabria Burger.Best burger I have ever had,and I’m 63! All elements of the burger were top notch.Would recommend to anyone.

Just had lunch here with my son , starters humus and mozzarella in bread crumbs was amazing , I had penne with salmon and it was to die for , my son also had a pasta with Gorgonzola n chicken , he really really enjoyed it , we did not finish our meal as the portion was sooo generous , service was 10/10 , Lubica the manager is hostess with the mostess and definitely loves her job , our waitress Paula was amazing too ! Overall it was very enjoyable visit and we are looking forward to return very soon

Had a family meal last Sunday, sorry to say the portions are definitely smaller, pizza was crying out for toppings to cover the base, 4 prawns in a pasta dish,cold chips and burned lasagna around the edge, not up to the usual standards we expect from Prezzo’s, The Manager and the staff were fabulous as usual, so chefs please get your act together and give us customers the best food you can as our experience on Sunday was poor,

Incredible food at great price, had one of the best meal with my wife. For sure we’ll be coming back!

It’s a long time since we have been to any Prezzo restaurant so we called in by chance for lunch. We were shown to our table as soon as we went in and given the menu. We decided to have just a main course, a risotto and a pasta dish. They came soon after. The risotto was tasty and the pasta was ok but nothing special. Service was good.

We was served by a very polite and happy lady , food was outstanding throughout . The service was prompt and hot on arrival and pudding was to die for great place for family and friends will defo be going again

Slow service overall. However, food arrived 5 minutes after ordering. Beef ragout pasta looked and tasted awful...

Had a lovely family meal here on Sunday, good food well presented and served with a smile. Great atmosphere too and great value for families

We were in town and decided to drop by here for lunch. The restaurant has a strange layout inside, comprising of a series of large rooms which seem to have their walls knocked through. As for food, we ordered a couple of Pizzas, the plain margherita and the margherita royale - which was a larger, crispier pizza with more gourmet toppings. The plain margherita turned out to be very plain. The royale was definitely the better of the 2, although not great. To finish off, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding, which was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was sickly sweet, before you even factored in the ice cream.

We went for a friend's birthday meal a few weeks back and had a nice evening. The food was good and the service was as well despite it being a busy saturday night.

I have visited Prezzo in a number of different locations. I have always found them good value and this was no exception.

Attended a works leaving meal and food was served quickly and was tasty. Politely requested the waitress slice our pizza as we were sharing some dishes but she refused and said I had to do it myself and promptly handed me the bluntest pizza cutter ever made!Disappointing feel to it after that,

Good food and service. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming but we did need to wait to order desserts as the restaurant got busier. The waiter who took our dessert order seemed to be really confused about everything but we got there in the end and the overall experience was good.
