Only reason being there was for my grandson wouldn't go back unless it was with the children you know kids.

Really nice Nandos location. Service good, food was tasty and hot!

We popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday - the food was good and didn't take long to arrive. The service by all was great (although, our server Callum, in particular was excellent) - very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

The staffs are so welcoming ,went there for the first time and I and the kids loved it . The food was good too.

We always enjoy our visit weekly.

Family evening out at Nando's! Had a great meal at Nando's, the staff were friendly and helped us find a suitable table that could accommodate my wife and I with our nearly 2 year old daughter. The food was great, it came out fairly quickly despite the size of our order, the only gripe I had was a lack of menu choice for little ones! My daughter is nearly 2 and there are only certain things she likes to eat, therefore I kindly asked to swap some of the child's menu items to accommodate and they were unable to do so. Therefore I had to spend a bit more to buy standard adult size sides (Mash & G.Bread) as they couldn't help unfortunately!! Anyway, that didn't ruin our visit and I would definitely go back as it's a great family restaurant!

Best Nandos I have visited, staff are amazing everytime we go

I've been here several times now and I always have a great experience. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is always fresh and delicious. Tables and toilets are always clean. The managers clearly take pride in their job. I always appreciate how kind the staff are when I visit with my family.

Not a pleasant dining experience - the delivery window is open and closed more than the hokey cokey shakes it all about. Food took 45 mins to arrive, and was then cold. Don't pre pay is my advice! Not even particularly busy 😕

Good Manager who has set good hygiene standards in the restaurant. Clean tables and clean knives and forks (do hate restaurants where utensils have not been properly cleaned!). Chicken and chips was superb!

Disgraceful treatment to my disabled grandad today. He is an electric wheelchair user, and Was told he wasn't allowed to park it in a certain position. This is obviously fine but staff offered no other alterative. We then requested to sit close to the toilet and again were told this is not possible. This restraunt is not disabled friendly.

After doing a little Christmas shopping my son decided to treat me to a nandos lunch , from the onset we were greeted by very young gentleman who took is to our table . Another gentleman / staff member who’s name was Sam was particularly helpful asking us if we needed any other condiments etc and was generally a very nice polite happy smiling person , lovely experience particularly this time of year , would definitely have lunch there again and recommend to family abd friends !

It was the best experience due to service of all staff especially Alana who was very professional and friendly. I updated order 3 or 4 times she did not mind, was very helpful and understanding.

The app said cheddar cheese and I got a sacrificial slab of cheese from the 1600s that had no flavour and was as slimy as a ghost from ghost busters. I'm pretty sure it wasn't cheddar but other than that it was pretty good.

They've got the softest ice I've ever had.

Our first cheeky Nandos. The food was OK, but not inspiring. I ordered a corn on the cob side at £3.75 and got just one! Did the same in a pub a week ago and got 2 for £2. The staff were nice and helpful and overall a good experience.

Our starter was delayed by 30 minutes but the manager who’s name was Bruce was so apologetic and offered us a free desert as a kind gesture

Quick update: Open and serving indoors. Very safe, well spaced and clean downs after every service. Please support our hospitality industry. Nando's is my staple. I have eaten here so many times that I have lost count. Originally from South Africa, this gem mixes Portuguese peri-peri with succulent, grilled chicken. It is always best straight off the grill rather than take-away. It's exactly the same every time, at every Nando's. I know wherever, whenever, I am guaranteed a great meal. Love it.

Ex Nandoca here. I know... I know... The food is always good for sure, but what really stood out here for me are the people. Staff seemed enjoying themselves and genuine. I've definitely had felt home , the restaurant was surprisingly clean lol. So well done team , they deserve praise . You guys nailed it

Slow. Over 35 mins wait. Nearly missed the film I'd booked. It looks like takeaway deliveries get a higher priority than customers in the restaurant.

Very disappointed! all orders are arriving without any sauce. Our last order, the food didn’t even arrive and delivered after waiting for 1h. It’s very frustrating, they couldn’t reach the person that was delivering the order. they refunded us but not even offering to re-deliver the order!!

We were in Newbury for an appointment and thought we would try Nandos Newbury, and glad we did. So much nicer than our local ones in Reading. Really nicely laid out, polite and helpful staff and the food was really good. Would easily recommend.

Awful customer service, messed up delivery too… called up as we have vegetarians so couldn’t just eat the wrong order of food, and they were awfully rude and didn’t say sorry, just sent us on a maze, 30 minutes long of email links to get just our refund, they refused to send us our actual order after it all…

No fireworks, no dramas. Food is pleasant, service was pleasant. Just lacks soul.

I am very much dissapointed in Nandos in newbury with deliverooo as my order was not delievered to the address and the rider was lieing As he refused to call me while i was working in hospital. This incident happen today at 16:35 where a rider claimed that he deliver my food but he didnt even enter the reception to deliver the food. This deliveroo are bunch of thieves that want to eat people food. The rider didnt make an effort to call me, he claim he was waiting for me for 8minutes and went with the food with no effort to come to the hospital reception . i called deliveroo that i am happy to pay for the food to be deliever Again they said nooo and i later called Nandos and the manager said they cant help me. So i wasted 35 pounds to buy nandos and deliveroo claim that my food was trash in the bin. My advice guys dont use deliveroo with nandos they are bunch thieves that eat people food and take people money. So they claim i cant get a refund and i have to do 12.5 Hours shift without food. Be warned everyone.

This place is now contributing to the decline of the shopping centre. It still gives great service, but the food is lacking. They had very little on the menu in stock. No coulslaw or hummus The staff that used to cook the chicken on the grill don't seem to have the passion, and this is now reflected in the results. Soggy chicken skin is not nice. Sauces available were all blocked. This is a real shame as it used to be the best. A real disappointment.

This is a Lovely Nandos. The staff and manager were amazing. Everything was cooked so nicely and was piping hot when the food reached the table. The manager personally came over to ask if everything was ok, which it was. She was kind enough to help me sort out my Nandos app on my phone when ordering the food. The wings were cooked to perfection and were mouth watering. Keep up the good work.

The get you to order with an app that doesn't work. So you order your food, they take the payment and the order won't go through. So you have to pay again at the counter. But apparently we'll be refunded in a few days. Don't tell people to use the app if it doesn't work!

Don't bother ordering from Nando's, you'll never eat. Ordered from them via the Nando's app, get the message saying the food has been delivered only no knock at the door and no food is here. I call them up and they say the driver took our food to the wrong address. When asked if we can get our food re-ordered and delivered to us asap I'm told "oh we can't do that, but we can offer a refund within the next 5-7 days". Meanwhile I've got a starving family waiting for food that was never going to come. Disgusting customer service and incompetent delivery drivers. Never again.

Have been to this Nandos twice. First time was about 4-6 months ago! And had unbelievable service was the first time eating out since covid. We felt welcomed by the entire team & staff Second time, the staff were again the same unbelievable level of service food was absolutely incredible, Manager was amazing and went above and beyond. We've been to alot of nandos all across, and the team at newbury has something different about them, if you ever have the chance I strongly suggest visiting you won't be disappointed. Cannot wait to come back!

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. The staff were very friendly and kind and we were able to have a laugh and joke with them like we were old friends. It was nowhere near as crowded as other Nandos restaurants that I've been to, but still didn't lack any of the ambience that one would come to expect at a Nandos restaurant. It is a nice easy location to find just underneath the Vue cinema, in the Kennet Centre. The parking is nice and easy too. Would thoroughly recommend. And if you don't already know, nandos make the best chicken for a UK restaurant chain. Feels like your in Portugal 😊 5 Stars well deserved!!!

We went here as a quick meal stop and we're on a tight schedule. The food was easy to order using the app. It arrived quickly and tasted great. A good place to go for a quick burger type meal.

Typical decent quality Nandos. Visited twice this month after long gap. Not sure the menu has quite enough options to have us visit more than 4 times a year.

Today I went to Cinema and so we decided to have lunch at Nandos, Staff - Bit Bossy not polite as expected Ambience- Good Food - 1 Star .. Dish order Chicken Pita. Taste wise chicken rubbery cold and Not juicy at all and some weird watery sauce insde pita made all the bread soggy. Presentation is not upto mark for price.

Visited today around half 2. The reason I am making this review is to praise a boy which welcomed us in and asked for our preference over which table we’d like to sit on. He was extremely polite, gave our little one colouring and made sure everything was okay. He does seem like someone who would be extra nice and manage complaints really well. I have never come across someone so polite, welcoming and approachable in any nandos before. Not sure of his name but he’s tall, sort of young and was serving today. 3/8/22

I visited Newbury from London on Easter with the family and had a great experience in the Nando’s Newbury.. It wasn’t very busy so we didn’t have to wait long. The interior didn’t disappoint as usual. Our host Matt was exceptional in the service he provided and the kids liked him. He also recommended some places for us to visit while in Newbury which was really helpful . Shall definitely visit again.

1st time back for a while as it seemed to be going downhill, really happy to report its great again. Hopefully it carries on.

Always loved nandos, this one was just as delicious as they usually are. Friendly staff and speedy service are always a plus. Will definitely be returning again soon.

Cracking Nando's with all the usual menu options (except the frozen yogurt machine which was broken) Good range of veggie options surprisingly for a chicken place. The brownie was rather dull so my recommendation is the chocolate cake which is rich and moist. Only minor point is you can't book for a large group and we had to wait for a table although I could see space available.

We’ve been ordering food from this Nando’s for a good 4 years now, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill over the last couple of months. I ordered a takeaway order and walked to the door at the allocated time. It took 10 minutes of waiting to be seen, even though multiple staff members saw a line of people waiting, but were chatting and laughing with random people who weren’t in uniform just walking behind the counter. Eventually I was greeted by someone after staring them down and I told them I was collecting an order I had placed online, so I was told to wait by the counter. 5 minutes later a different staff member asked what I was there for, so I repeated that I was collecting a takeaway order, so they went to the counter and asked what I’d like to order…. So I repeated myself for a 3rd time that I was COLLECTING an order, the food was handed over and I walked home. Turns out that the chicken butterfly was undercooked anyway. But I was so frustrated I just decided to leave it. I would have understood if it was a busy Friday night and the place was packed. But it wasn’t, it was a quiet Monday evening. Just get it together guys.

I love nandos but unfortunately this restaurant in Newbury is a shambles. Everytime I've been I always think they'll have improved but unfortunately not. I'm currently sat waiting for my order 20 minutes after being told it would be ready (1 hour since ordered), staff are not rushed off their feet and don't seem to show any interest in urgency, lots of joking/laughing as well as bad language in range of customer's prompting another member of staff to suggest being quiet. I SEE YOU MATT.

Nandos newbury!! You have taken £40 from an 18 year old girl who works hard for her money and for an order she never had. You claim the money has been returned and IT HAS NOT!! Last time I was in nandos you had half the menu missing.... What is even wrong with you. I have made several attempts to contact head office. Absolute disgrace and you should be utterly ashamed of yourselves!!

Lack of chicken pieces or full chicken and the chicken breasts are less than half the size of regular ones. Not worth the value asked for.

First time visiting in ages. Quickly seated, food was quick but rice was solid in the dish and came out dish shaped!! (definitely reheated or microwaved). Had to stand up to get servers attention for drink refills on a quiet night too!. Overall quite disappointed as the Oracle Nando's that I visited recently was much better food and service. Think I'll travel the extra to avoid this Nando's in future!.

Came here post lockdown so there's various measures in place that somehow make it feel not quite like Nando's of old, but that's to be expected. Queuing and ordering are done via QR code and smartphone. There's no self-serve drinks or ice cream anymore, and all cutlery and sauces are either already on the table or bought over to you. Food was tasty, service was very good. Prices were downright reasonable.

Been here quite a few times. And pre covid service was great. But my recent visit was not so pleasant, as we had to order via the app. And after several attempts it did not work.so we were allowed to order manually. Quite a nuisance. Will not be rushing back anytime soon

Late Sunday dinner (19:15) with my two favourite people, only waited 10 minutes to get seated, food was good and everyone left happy.

As a regular at this Nandos, I am absolutely disgusted in the quality, quantity and delivery of my order. I always order from this Nandos but tonight I received stone cold soggy chips, not sure where the peri salt was? A wrap filled with 2 small cunks of chicken,missing its extras of haloumi, chilli jam the works... which had been paid for. No sauce... Might as well of sent me a wrap and let me make my own filling at home. I've asked for someone to contact me regarding this. This isn't the standard I am used to from Nandos. I could accept a delay in delivery (30 minutes over and above the said time) if I received quality but the order has ended up in the bin so I am waiting for someone to contact me.
