Food was all cold. No cheese on bread. Despite ordering cheese. No sauce on any of the pastas

Portion sizes are terrible for the price you’re paying for it, and it’s pretty average food. Not worth the money you pay for it.

Family Birthday meal, service was OK, food not bad , however £17 for a small portion of lasagne with no side salad or chips, just a lonely lasagne, not priced for regular visits. Will be a while before thinking of going back .

We’ve been here a few times now The place is very clean The staff are very friendly There’s a large selection on the menu an I’m sure there will be something for everyone The calzones are very nice but the side salad is a lil disappointing just like they have opened one of those bags from Morrisons Nothing special The only thing that lets it down is value for money Other than that you kinda know what to expect

Made to feel like VIP ,food and service was excellent and good value ,our seating and table looked out onto the river Mersey ..will be back again .

Waited ages to be sat down despite being half empty, ages to take our order and then after 45 mins they’ve come over to say they can’t make what we ordered for our 2 year old with a dairy allergy. They haven’t even started making the other food items yet. Manager now asking for chef to “push it”. Horrendous. So disappointing.

the food quality was not worth the price, the garlic bread was placed on pitta bread and was £7.50 roughly, the carbonara was cold and the ham was hard as if it was packet ham, not worth the £15.75, the pasta was cold and of very poor quality and barely any chicken, not worth the £15.95. I would not recommend eating from this restaurant.

Came with family for the wife's birthday nice meal and decent service

Just ate here for the first time. Food was lovely adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids had a 3 course meal for free. Staff really attentive and manager was lovely. Will definitely be back !

Ridiculously expensive for a tin of spaghetti and a chicken snitzel! £114 for 4 people with one drink. The place was empty. I wonder why!!!

I have celiac and have had a few absolutely delicious gluten free meals here. The pasta is like 'the real deal' and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. My partner also very much enjoyed his regular pizza . The prices are quite steep however, so it's the kind of place we only visit from time to time.

Restaurant continued to move delivery time out by 10 minutes every 10 minutes. Awful.

Quick service - great food @ still hot

Absolutely awful. Ordered 2 carbonara, received 1.. burger was burnt to a crisp, no fries with the burger and no sauce on it either as advertised, food arrived literally open! bags where not sealed so not sure if the driver has just taken some of the food or the restaurant has missed it off. Either way a total waste of money! Don’t bother ordering from here

We were straight in and seated without any wait. The staff were friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The food was good and served in what felt the correct amount of time for it to be properly prepared. The only downside is that it was a little pricy, so maybe check the menu beforehand

Delivery person was friendly and professional. The food delivered was as ordered. The food took two hours to be delivered. The time on the app for delivery kept changing and getting later and later.

Great value pizzas with the current January offer. Staff very helpful and friendly, good service.

We go here anout 6 times a year. Prices have gone up and food quantities have gone down dramatically in recent months. It is hard to justify it now, there are much better value places out there. Great staff, but probably our last visit for quite a while.

We walked in and waited by the door approximately 3min last night. The restaurant wasn't busy. Three members of staff looked at us, however no one came to us, or even acknowledged us, so we walked out. Unable to rate the food, we didn't get that far 🙂 I wasn't expecting someone run to us straight away, staff was serving, however not to even acknowledge the customer or tell the customer that someone will see them in a moment is very bad customer service.

We visited New Years Eve and the restaurant was really busy. The service was great, every member of staff was friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The food was gorgeous, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

We had a lovely meal on Christmas Eve. Attentive but not obtrusive wait staff, lovely food, friendly atmosphere. And all just a 2 minute walk from our hotel. A return is definitely on the cards when we are next in New Brighton.

We had a Bottomless brunch for our works day out! Would highly recommend . The staff where brilliant. The Brunch consisted of different choices of great food and plenty cocktails and beer .Was well worth the reasonable price and would definitely do again !!

Ok visit, enjoyed a couple of drinks, some garlic bread to share (nice) chicken carbonara decent portion but sauce not particularly creamy and a ravioli that was quite a small portion but was soon cold to eat as the dish was cold. Didn't feel like a £60 meal and had better food at the Cheshire Oaks restaurant.

Brilliant food and great choice of gluten free options.

Food was OK but is overpriced for what it is. We got put in a corner and seemed to be forgotten about. Sat waiting for too long in between courses. After finishing we were waiting for over 30 minutes for the bill, after asking multiple waitresses who then forgot again. Advertised as “kids eat free” even though we were charged for the kids meal. Will not be returning again.

Don’t go if you don’t want to be food-poisoned!One of the worst experiences I’ve had! The lady who served us was extremely unprofessional but that’s not the worst part. The food and drinks were quite bad for the price but especially the chicken and pepper with rosemary I couldn’t even eat it. At night after that day, I woke up violently vomiting for around 2 hours until I literally had nothing to vomit and was hurting extremely badly. I also had a fever and couldn’t move so I’ve not left the bed for the entire day, I will NEVER return so BE AWERE!!

Served quickly by friendly staff. Food was hot and tasty and decent portion. Dessert took longer than main to arrive but was a good size when it did arrive. Only 3 stars for atmosphere as restaurant was empty due to being 21:00. Would definitely visit again.

First time very very nice, we now share food now, it was enough for us two, we had the two corse meal we profiteroles and coffee to finish, we will be back on Saturday to pick from the big choice of food .Ron & Sue.

Food was amazing props to the chef however the service was quite bad, I believe they tried hard but I just don't think there were enough staff to cater to everyone.

Myself & my two friends came here for dinner on a Sunday in June as it’s one of the few places that caters for my friend’s many allergies. Usually the experience is good but I have no idea what happened on this day, it’s like everything that could possibly go wrong did! We were seated quickly by who I assume is the manager (she was wearing her own clothes) which was great. Our drinks order was taken promptly and the drinks came within about 10 minutes, nothing to complain about. The same manager came over to take our food order, which apparently is protocol when someone has allergies, and that was that. Half an hour later we were sitting there with empty drinks as everyone else around us got there food but ours was nowhere to be seen. We called over the manager to ask where our food was and she said she would go and find out for us. She returns with a huge list of food items they had run out of, including chicken, beef and pasta! We couldn’t believe it! As it’s an ‘Italian’ restaurant, literally everything has chicken and pasta in which was, in fact, the majority of our orders. By this point it had been about 40 minutes and we were starving so we ended up changing our order to a bowl of side chips and garlic bread each. We weren’t thrilled but just wanted to eat so that was that. Another 20 minutes passes, and still no sign of our food. We called over the manager again as she was walking around the floor and she said she would go and check again, returning saying (and I quote) it’s just been done it will be out soon! Great. 15 minutes later and the food still hadn’t arrived. In hindsight this is the point we should have up and left. A waitress walked by us and assumed we were waiting for the bill, and was shocked when we told her we still hadn’t had any food! She went to ask the kitchens what was going on and returned apologising, saying the kitchen had lost our order somehow and hadn’t even made our food yet! We were baffled- hadn’t the manager just told us it was ready and about it come out? So had she lied about that? Finally the food arrived and it was fine, the usual standard for this place but the service was absolutely appalling! Especially considered it was a Sunday, about 5pm which isn’t considered to be peak hours and the place was half empty! We didn’t have to pay for our food but still, probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant and I’ve eaten at a lot of places over the years!

We've been here numerous times and we're never disappointed with the food, always lovely and great choices. Daughter is coeliac and this has great options, even a garlic bread which is normally hard to find for her. Lovely meals all round. Good atmosphere. Only downside that continues to bug me is they don't accept cash. If the food wasn't that nice, I'd give my business elsewhere.

We were at the restaurant today just for lunch. Manager greeted us and offered table. We were ready to order with in 3 minutes. But after waiting for 18 minutes someone took our drinks and food order. Drinks arrived within 4 minutes that was good. But was started came within 8 minutes after we ordered it’s was okey, but our main course arrived in 27 minutes even after finishing our started. Our daughter felt a sleep. Then finally dessert just as kids ice cream. 15 minutes. Come on. There was only 7 table with guest not much busy. Few table had issues. Wish staff could have done more better or more multitasking.

We love coming here the food is delicious and the staff are amazing it can get bit noisey but nothing is too much trouble we just love prezzo xxx

No avocado in the salad as advertised, tomatoes a weird colour and for the price was awful.

Located amongst competing restaurants, Prezzo stands out because of its' modern, clean design and mix of booths and tables. Team were very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and efficient = perfect combo!

I had a nice experience at Prezzo Italian Restaurant. The pizza and fries were very good, and I really enjoyed the food. The ambience of the place is pleasant, making it a nice spot to relax. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made our visit even better. The only downside was the waiting time, which was a bit longer than expected. Overall, I think it's a good restaurant, and I would recommend it for a tasty meal!

We were shown to a table, given 2 child menus and 2 adult menus, despite the fact there were 3 adults and 1 child. We waited 15 minutes and no one arrived to even take our drinks order. We had a hungry child with us, so we left without ordering. Dreadful service.

The staff were really friendly, the service was really quick, the food came out in a timely manner and was well cooked and delicious. Our server was Jenn, I feel like she may have been a manager, and she was very polite friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend eating here if you are in the New Brighton area.

I used to really enjoy coming here, but sadly the food and cleanliness have gone downhill as of late. I think most of my party didn't enjoy their food (which was very slow arriving - understandable this time, as we weren't the only large table, but it's been an issue on quiet nights too) and my fusilli with Devon crab was very dry like it had been sitting out, the crab didn't taste at all fresh and it wasn't particularly tasty overall. Instead it was just extremely spicy, which I don't mind in a dish where it makes sense but here it overwhelmed everything. The toilets were a mess with soaked floors, too. The staff were lovely and as helpful as they could be but the place seemed understaffed! I think next time I'd prefer to try one of the other restaurants in that area of New Brighton.

Bottomless brunch was excellent, service was attentive, well worth a visit

Came in today around 5pm. Was greated and sat quickly. Little one was given a kids menu that can be coloured in with pencils. Kids menu is starter main and desert off the kids menu for £8.50. Starters were all really nice, esspecially the garlic bread with Mozzarella that we all shared. Mains and deserts were all really nice sized portions (slighly on the larger side) we ended up having to take some away in take out boxes so we have meals for tomorrow :D. Servers were all really nice, esspecially Ash who was asking how we were doing and checking in we were all good. Didnt forget anything we asked for and was making sure all was okay for us. She was really good with the little one also. All in all couldn't really fault it. 4 1/2 people for £120 including starters, mains, deserts and 2 drinks each. Thank god for student discount aswell.

Good food but service a little slow. Would recommend but not if youre in a hurry

We came to prezzo on Saturday the 29th of June, the staff were very kind there was no issue with the service. When we arrived we was told food would be a 40-50 minute wait which was perfectly fine. Our food ended up coming out quicker than this, me and partner both order spaghetti bolognaise, we both thought this had abit of an odd taste to it but thought it may be because of the red wine. The next day after our visit we was woken up early in the morning to be vomiting and very ill.We have been unable to attend our jobs because of this. Unfortunately we will not be visiting here again after our experience. I would also like to add that a suffer from an extreme phobia of sickness called emetophobia, so I don’t often eat out incase it makes me sick. Before eating out I always check the reviews which I have heard good things about prezzo and the only negative reviews was regarding the wait time which I didn’t mind. As I said the staff was lovely and the place looked clean but the food was the downfall. I have really struggled with my experience from here.

Very standard as you would expect from a chain restaurant, personally overpriced for a chain.

The food was plentiful and prepared really well. Lovely textures and flavours. The staff we pleasant and helpful. The location is amazing, right on the water front with a beautiful view of the Liverpool skyline.

We got seated 5 mins after arriving as the table needed cleaning But then it started 10 mins just to take a drink order Having to ask if we could place our food order 10 mins later after that Same with the table next to us Starters turned up Food was nice after being there over an hour . I had to ask how much longer for our mains and drinks had been empty for 15 mins Mains turn up without clearing the starters away first We had eaten most of our mains and drinks eventually turn up Food was nice Service awful Would not go again or recommend The restaurant was half full not like it was busy Oh and it's card payment only if I'd know I would of gone elsewhere Obviously no tip was left and I always tip for good service

I went to Prezzo with my parents for a late lunch on my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better meal experience. The food was excellent, the lady who served us was friendly, amiable, kind and very professional, and even brought my pudding with a candle in! Absolutely perfect afternoon, thank you so much!

I don't often write reviews, but I have to for my experience here last night. What an utter disappointment. We were handed menus and then asked if we'd like to order some drinks. Baring in mind that the restaurant was not busy at all, we still did not have our drinks when they came to take our food order over 10 minutes later. £7 for a pint is rather expensive, especially when there's only one beer on draught, which was watery and not even filled to the rim. Then it was only at the point when were ordering what we wanted to eat that we were told that there was NO DOUGH and no lasagne!!! At an Italian restaurant!!! So no pizzas and no garlic bread! Very disappointing! I ordered a burger which I was reasonably happy with (£20 though which again, is pretty expensive really), but the pasta dishes that the others ordered were midiocre really. Then it came to ordering deserts, where we were told that there was no tiramissu, which again - was what some of us actually wanted to order! So some of us ordered other deserts and we all ordered coffees. Desserts arrived fairly quickly, and the person serving us (who appeared to be the shift manager) "joked" to one in our party "are you not having a dessert? That's terrible behaviour!", to which I thought that there's only one side that's been behaving terribly here tonight - and she would've had a dessert if there was tiramissu available!! For the price I did expect a scoop of ice cream with the cheesecake, so that was quite dry. So anyway, we'd finished our desserts..we sat around waiting for about another 10 minutes before I went and asked [the shift manager] whether they'd also ran out of coffee beans. She asked "no, why?", to which I said that we were still waiting for our coffees. Turned out that the waiter somehow hadn't ordered them. So she asked, "what was it you ordered? I'll do it now and we'll knock it off your bill being as you've been waiting". Anyway, when the bill arrived, I noticed that the coffees HAD NOT been knocked off the bill, but by this point I could not be ar$ed to query it, so we just paid and went. We've always given tips whenever we visit restaurants, but needless to say at this restaurant, we did not tip because we felt that they had done absolutely nothing to deserve receiving a tip. I will never be returning to this restaurant again.

very disappointed, we only treat ourselves to this restaurant on special occasions with it being more expensive than our regular choices and as I have terminal cancer and its my birthday I'd say that's special, however, the calamari starter was missing its dip as were the arachini balls then the pizza twist didn't arrive at all and neither did the extra garlic butter I ordered or the chilli oil for my daughters pizza. Such a pity as I'd been looking forward to it for ages

Me and my girlfriend were in Prezzo last night and were welcomed by Thomas, who done a great job looking after us as a server, he was attentive, always available and was very friendly. He made the night a really nice experience for us and we can’t praise him enough.

An hour and a half wait for a table, so didn't bother.

We entered by accident while passing by and will definitely visit more often. Very good Italian pizza and pasta. Good quality fresh ingredients and tasty crispy dough. Everyone liked it very much. I recommend!

Went on a whim, and whilst the food was okay, it was very expensive for what we got.

Really nice food!! If I'm honest it's probably the best pizza iv ever had!! But it should be at that price. It is quite expensive!! But i will definitely be there again soon.

I love the restaurant but sometimes they don't have things I normally get there, there is a lot of kids that kinda ruin the atmosphere but ofc that's not the places fault, the staff are so nice especially ash

We had three kids 3 course meals and two adults meals. Wasn't happy we had glass bottles of coke but it is what it is. Meals were nice and fresh. The only complaint was we had 3 desserts for the kids two ice-creams and one bread and Nutella. The ice creams came out and the other did not after 10 mins I had to go up and ask where it was, they had to make it so it took another 10 mins to come out. All of them should have come out together so all the kids had dessert together.

As always, dinner at Prezzo was a first rate experience. The staff are cheerful, respectful and attentive. The ambience warm and friendly and the food is always glorious. If you are considering dining out in New Brighton, and if you love Italian food, Prezzo should be your first choice.

The pizza could have done with cooking a little bit more and not as much tomato sauce. Otherwise it was lovey.

Extreamly slow service I placed my order at 3pm and my food came an hour later. I orded a chicken caesar salad I got baby gem lettuce and very dry chicken and a few slices of cucumber. This was charged to me at £14.95.

Jess was the woman who greeted us as we walked in and was nothing but friendly and welcoming. She made me and my partner feel at home and comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. Nothing was too much to ask from her and she went above and beyond. Food was warm, fast and tasty We asked for a window seat as we wanted a view and thats why we’d travelled all this way and that is what we got! amazing service from her (The young lady with the ponytail was also lovely, didn’t catch her name though)

The food was best described as 'ok', no better than that, the service very slow and overall its not a place that we'll be returning to. The service was that slow that we left without ordering coffee or desserts because it was taking so long 🤷‍♂️

Visited the first time on Valentine's day I am so disappointed Ordered Alfredo pasta with chicken was nearly 16 pounds in my plate had just to small pieces of chicken, pasta was a tiny portion and the sauce was watery, taste wasn't good . Coffee is lovely but for food definitely I will not return back to eat a child portion food and not good as well.

Lovely food but a bit pricey for what it is. Nearly £20.00 for a pizza, although very nice, but in my opinion, it is a little expensive, and nearly £7.00 for a pint is a lot when there's only one on offer on draught (poretti). Staff are very attentive and work very hard, which is an excellent thing in a busy restaurant and a real credit to the business. There could be more beers on draught. Did see a member of staff though getting a box of 12 poretti beers out of the stores, which is nearly £5.00 a bottle for 330ml, which is extortion when you can get 12 for under £15 at a supermarket. This being said, the main thing, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The place has a lovely atmosphere with an open kitchen, so you can see your pizza, etc, being prepared, which is a lovely touch. I think some food options could be a little cheaper as they aren't that expensive to make and there should be more beers available on draught. I will say, though, that the cocktail menu is decent. I had an amaretto old fashioned and this was amazing. I would recommend it here as the food is great, but just prepare yourself for the bill as it adds up quickly.

Had a lovely welcome from Leah, duty manager, which made my first visit that more enjoyable . Staff were lovely and food was well presented.

Waiting a while for a driver. App advised that the food would not be prepared until driver arrived. Food must have been ready for a while because when it arrived it was freezing cold. Not the drivers fault. Spent £45 on this order. Not impressed, Prezzo.

We ordered a vegan chicken and pepper pizza and we got a standard one, it was also cold

Great staff who accommodated our huge family gathering and got everything spot on! They had an awesome vegan section too.
