It was on Saturday 8/03 at 6pm and we had my friend Birthday, The waitress was very nice I think her name was Lucia I hope I spelt write, she did help me with my meaun and chosen the dessert. So I would like to thank her because she was so patient with me. The food was good and the drink is the best 👌

I Had the best experience dining at Prezzo in Chelmsford - The service was amazing throughout with attentive staff, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food and drinks were delicious and served very promptly. The restaurant has a great vibe to it, great for families, friends and also work dos. Will definitely be back !

Great restaurant with friendly stuff and tasty food. They have choice for everyone. I had there amazing Bday party and I was surprised when I got dessert for free with candle and Bday song. It was such nice surprise. 💕

The driest pasta in town! Charging £13 for overcooked pasta with little drop of Tabasco sauce, absolute rip-off. How can businesses like this still exist? Disgusting greedy owners should be ashamed of themselves👎

We had a late night, last minute dinner her a couple of weeks ago. We were served by Lwandile and he made our experience. He was so polite, so efficient, so friendly and oh so tolerant. Thank you Lwandile. The food was lovely too.

I was in Chelmsford Prezzo yesterday evening with my family. We had a great time, food was excellent, and our waitress Anna Anna was so professional and fast. She recommended meals, was smilly and friendy. We used the kids special menu and were very pleased with options. We will be back soon! 😊

We had a lovely birthday dinner in Prezzo me and my son. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere and the service minded staff and cleanliness of restaurant are fantastic. I had meat lasagne and my son has children three course meal. We even had a lovely chocolate cake from lovely Caroline Assistant General Manager, who is always so lovely and friendly to us when we come to visit and eat in Prezzo Bond Street in Chelmsford. Had a brilliant waiter this evening! Wanted to comment on it because he was fantastic. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name but hoping with some information, you’ll be able to pass on my thanks. I believe we were sat on table 2, it was 18:00 on Sunday 9th Feb. Our waiter was simply fantastic. Very bubbly and friendly, very attentive and kept checking we were okay. Offered us everything we could have wanted. Food was very nice, but for certain things portions could’ve been bigger for the price, but it’s quite easy to get good deals online for Prezzo, so using one of these made it good value!

Recently visited this restaurant with my family for a celebration dinner. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us to our table. The staff were very attentive, especially with my children, and they went the extra mile by recognizing my wife’s birthday with a surprise cake. The food was absolutely delicious, and we will definitely be back

Driver drove in the opposite direction to my house clearly doing multiple deliveries. Waited for over an hour for my food nearly half of which it was out for delivery. My food was stone cold by time it got to me and I had to reheat everything.

The food was amazing. The experience was spoilt by having everything whipped away the very second it was empty. I don't mean it was cleared quickly I don't think the handle of my fork touched the plate before it was whipped away. Same with all the drinks. I had just a glass of wine left to go and the staff were hovering waiting for me to finish. Decided to time how long it would take to remove it. Seven seconds to get to our table, ask if I had finished, remove the glass and ask if I wanted anything else. Never felt so rushed and uncomfortable. The restaurant was in no way full at all. Loads of empty tables.

Order not delivered. At all. Will not use this app in the future.

Order took two hours to turn up! The pizzas and garlic breads were tough as old boots!

Prezzo is pretty much the same everywhere you go but this is a nice restaurant

Booked a bottomless brunch via telephone, was told upon arrival that I wouldn’t be able to have brunch with a 14 year old child present and mother wasn’t part of the bottomless. Even though I could order bottles of wine with no problem. Wasn’t able to pay cash, was told they were cashless. This wasn’t advertised anywhere. Manager was rude, wouldn’t recommend.

First time at any Prezzo and I was extremely happy. The food was delicious.. My Tuscan beef was soo yummy 👏🏼 and the customer service by GORAN was second to none .. he made us feel as if we were at a high end restaurant in London.. Great Service . We will be back for sure and recommend to others . Thanks 🙏🏽

My complaint is for just eat rather than the restaurant. My order took two hours and ten minutes to be delivered due to ‘lack of drivers’ and the food was cold when it arrived. If there are a lack of drivers and I’m being quoted a 45 minute wait, maybe just eat shouldn’t be accepting any orders. I am requesting compensation as this service was just terrible - especially when I am spending that much money on food and delivery and service charge.

I went here on Thursday 24/10/2024. I had a pepperoni pizza and garlic bread with a Coca Cola, which was delicious. I also had a chocolate cake for desert, (contains nuts), which was delicious. 🤤 The service was highly good. (Amazing).

We don't always have the best Prezzo experiences but we came yesterday for early dinner with friends and kids and it was the best experience we've had with a group Inc small kids, the staff were so kind, friendly, attentive. The food was nice. Overall a great dinner.

Portions were tiny, staff weren't helpful. Didn't give me anywhere near enough sauce for my starters. Then they tried to charge me for more. Food was bland lacking seasoning. Paid £3 for extra chicken and got 5 tiny pieces. The tomato sauce on my child's pasta was by far the worst tomato sauce ever. It just tasted like the cheapest tinned tomatoes had been thrown in a pan with 2 small scraps of carrot in it. Not sure what the point of 2 small pieces of carrot was?? Couldn't of been for flavour, as it just tasted like tinned tomatoes. In summary it was a bad experience and definitely not worth the money. Used to be so much better, what has happened to you prezzo???

My husband and I took our niece and nephews here for a family lunch a few weeks ago and weren't super impressed. The service was especially lacking, our waitress seemed inconvenienced especially if we made a request ( my nephew wanted ice and lemon for his drink and we wanted a picture taken of us together.. nothing too complicated.) The food was mediocre at best, my husband and I had the same pasta dish and thought it was very dry and lacking flavour. Lastly, my niece ordered a icecream sundae and what she got was literally one scoop of icecream. Needless to say a scoop of icecream is NOT a sundae and to call it one is a flat out con. They even forgot the toppings initially and again seemed inconvenienced when we bought this up for correction. The entire meal cost us £90 which isn't exactly cheap for mediocre food and poor service. I suggest going to one of the many other local resturants if you're looking for a decent experience.

Food was lovely, and very tasty. Good portions too. Knocked a star off because the pizzas arrived luke warm (just heated a little in the oven back to temp) although the pasta was fresh and piping hot and one of the best we have had delivered. Delivery was later than expected but that being said we did order on Saturday night peak so not completely the restaurants fault.

It is a little expensive for what it is, but the food is good. Staff are polite and always on hand for drinks, sauces etc. Not the largest choice or variety, and to be honest nothing really jumps out at me when I look at the menu. Avoid if you're after a carnivore experience, but if you like posh pizza's then this is the place for you. Another visit for our 30th anniversary. Enjoyed it much more this time, food was excellent and choice seems to have improved. Cent find any real faults other than the prices. Expensive for what it is but it's still a pleasant experience.

Really great place. I went to check it out on my own to see if it’ll be a good venue for the GF. Going somewhere on your own always attracts eyeballs and dips in service. However, this place delivered excellent food and average service hence the 4 stars.

We went for lunch after my daughter had her braces removed. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and helped with offers and menus. We both had pasta, it was fresh and delicious, good sized portions and we weren't rushed to leave when we had finished. We had a taste card so it was buy one get one free on everything, and I saw another lady paying with tesco vouchers. It really was nice xx

Visited Chelmsford Prezzo for a last minute meal, Well I must say it’s the tastiest meal out I have had for a long time. We had pizza and the veggie mushroom calzone. The service from when we arrived until we left was 10/10 the staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the staff

Always love coming here with my wife and sometimes the wider family. What I like is that it’s the same staff for a long time, unlike many other restaurants which have a high staff turnover and they are friendly & efficient but also discreet. Food is lovely and as my wife is a Coeliac it’s good that they take extra care to avoid cross contamination. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend came out for lunch on a quiet Tuesday. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was honestly the best one I’ve had. It was so delicious! Thank you to the chefs who were working! The service was really good too, thank you.

We always wanted to give this place a try. Tbh, we received good, attentative service. However, the food was mostly substandard for the prices charged. We tried the calamari, fried mozzarella, garlic bread, pizza, carbonara, and crab ravioli. We only enjoyed the garlic bread and pizza. The rest of the food was pretty bland, and for the prices, were a little poor. At £30 per adult for 2 courses, there are plenty of better options out there. Certainly will not be looking to go back given all the nice options we have locally.

Good wasn’t nice was cold and no cheese

My pizza delivery delayed by more than 30 mins, delivered very cold pizzas. Called restaurant and they did confirm driver took pizzas at right time. Please look into this.

They didn't say it was card only until we had to pay so it was very stressful as it was for a Christmas meal

Delivery ETA moved considerably from the original estimate when order placed. When good eventually arrived it was stone cold. Re-heated, ate half and threw the rest away. Disappointed.

At least 16 minutes late and hardly warm. Had to turn the oven on to warm it up. Very disappointed especially when you pay almost £40 for 2 pizza to eat at home.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was highly disappointed. The prices were steep, almost £20 per dish and was definitely not worth it. I ordered both mushroom risotto and spaghetti with king prawns. The risotto was incredibly salty to the point where it felt like I was eating pure salt. When I requested a replacement, they took our shared plates, mixed them together, added water, and reheated the same dish, which didn't improve the flavor at all. Not to be mentioned, the king prawns in the spaghetti were tiny and there were a few bugs flying around in the restaurant. I do not recommend this restauran…!

The restaurant was lovely no fault from them however your drivers didn’t show - the restaurant called us personally and explained everything the driver that came rude and basically threw me my order not good service on your behalf so I would strongly like a refund for this service both me and restaurant tried calling several times and nothing

Food was cold took ages to even get delivered

Staff were slow but polite as expected, king prawn gnocchi came out as basically baby shrimps and the sea bass was soooo over cooked. Never again bring back the old traditional Prezzo!

Prezzo is a good option if you want food that will suit most, reasonably priced and with swift service. This Prezzo has great staff in particular, who were really helpful when my daughter had a unexpected seizure (she is ok) - would highly recommend.

Lovely and great location! Very busy and great service - however surprised we were the only ones dining al fresco on such a warm summer eve!

Stopped off for desert and coffee, I had the biscoff Cheesecake with banana, which was ok but a bit bland, which was disappointing. The cappuccino was an amazing surprise, though I would still recommend it.

Waitress miserable, turned lights out on us, locked the toilet doors. Biggest bugbear they only accept cards. NO CASH 🙄

Tried to ring Prezzo’s twice but got no answer. On third attempt got through to be told my order had been there for an hour and not collected. When I queried why this had not been noticed and asked for help in arranging collection they said I needed to take it up with just eat as the kitchen was now closed.

Midweek evening meal, relaxed, not overly crowded, air conditioned inside. Service was prompt, minimal wait between courses, table cleared quickly, check-back after main meal was served (additional drinks etc), food piping hot and fresh, draught beer served nicely chilled from clean lines. Prices on par with other style restaurants. Review based on restaurant of this caliber.
