Prezzo - Broadstairs in Thanet

Great service , well priced tasty food, meals served by polite & happy staff. We had a table in conservatory area which was very nice.

Staff and restaurant all good but the calzone pizza has shrunk to less than half the size it used to be Was so small and thin with hardly any filling waste time Was almost like a starter or was size of child’s meal No way was this worth £18 Good thing I had an offer on buy one get one free ! Think I would have politely left and gone to chip shop if I had to pay full price

Its been a while since weve visited a Prezzo as the one in Chichester has closed. The prices have realky gone through the roof. The food is nice but now not worth the money. The service here is friendly.

Two of us both enjoyed the Ravioli dishes which was very tasty. We had a a good seat in the conservatory by the window Withnell nice outlook. The service was spot in efficient, friendly and welcoming. We can recommend this establishment

Had the mozzarella and calamari for starters which was edible and quite pleasant. My partner had a meat pizza which he was unable to finish (first time ever) . It was clearly a frozen base with topping sloppily added. It was dry and looked unappealing. At £18.50 it was dreadful value. I had the lobster and crab raviolli which was vile. Tasteless, the sauce looked congealed, tomatoes burnt, one of the worst meals I’ve had in Broadstairs. It was also understaffed with just one poor member of staff and a trainee. The staff were lovely and worked hard, very unfair on them. Makes me think Prezzo’s may be closing soon and clearing out a backlog of frozen food!

Tasteless and should be a shame to call it an Italian restaurant. As a chain they should really investigate in the quality of there food being served. Spent over £160 and everyone’s food was tasteless, cold and burnt garlic bread. Certainly won’t be returning highly refined you go somewhere else for Italian food.

Can't believe we were turned away the restaurant was nearly empty. They told us that there was only 2 staff so they can't serve us so we had to leave to find somewhere else. Not happy

very very expensive very bad quality for a pizza and one fish and two drinks we paid £43 small portions and no taste I do not recommend

2 x salads. One salad with 3 thin slivers of chicken, 4 cherry tomatoes, small amount of rice and handful of rocket barely filled the bowl, rip off at £18. Other salad came with some sort of dry gritty tasteless covering on chicken which was meant to be parmessan but tadted of grit, why not fresh shavings offered.? Will never visit again.

Amazing service from start to finish. The Alfredo is to die for! Perfect location by the beach. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be back

We were with friends and we had pre ordered more than 2 weeks ago yet we were told several items were unavailable. How can that be ? Why weren’t we informed a week before ? It took over 45 minutes before our starter was served which with 3 children in the party was not ideal but even the adults were getting hungry, again it was ordered over 2 weeks before, why such a delay ? Mains arrived and to be fair most seemed fairly happy with their meal, mine however had two very small slivers of dry and in places burnt chicken, a tasteless potato ( have they not heard of seasoning) a huge chunk of cabbage along with a watery, sour gravy ? Sauce ? Not sure what it was but tasted off. Totally unenjoyable ! Desert was nice but should be twice the size as I thought it was a kids portion and certainly wasn’t with the £8. 50. I didn’t see any staff smile and appeared to not to want to be there. It was not restaurant quality food for sure and I won’t be returning.

Awful experience, we were seated at the back of the restaurant and the chairs were dirty and we needed to wipe these over. No issues with the server but the food was awful. We ordered 2 Tre Gusti pizza's totaling £42.50 and there were 6 pieces of chicken on each pizza and both were luke warm at best. The lasagna was also luke warm and not hot as you'd expect so can only assume that our food had been left for an extended amount of time. The Ravioli and burger ordered were also cold along with the chips and whilst these were compensated and fresh (hot) dishes came out half of the table had finished their food before the other half had even received theirs. Mens toilets were also awful. Such a shame as until this experience, Prezzo had consistently been somewhere we would always go but no more. Unless Prezzo drastically improve, I wouldn't be surprised if this became another vacant store front in Broadstairs

Good food, good service and very happy. Booked a table for my son's 13th birthday, we arrived and was seated promptly by Craig who looked after us and made our visit very enjoyable, not too pricey and our orders served quick and hot. Would definitely recommend if you like Italian food. Good size portions too

We visited Prezzo during a recent family holiday. The food was very underwhelming and expensive for what we were presented with. The restaurant has a lovely setting, just a shame the food is not on a par with it.

Where to start ! We had booking ( made online after I spend 20 minutes on the phone with no answer so I decided to go for the online option) for a large group and very last minute prezzo cancelled our table . My family came all the way from London and everyone was looking forward as we were meant to celebrate mums birthday party One hour before the event I received a phone call from Prezzo( strange they do pick up the phone when it comes to ruining families get-together)table cancelled at the very last minute as for a shortage of staff. Excuses? They offered us 50% off from total bill to the next visit! Seriously? I am never going to go back ever again! Disgusted!

They say hospitality is having a hard time but if your looking for somewhere for lunch and they have a sign outside saying " no walk ins" then it's not going to get any better. Went to the place next door and had a lovely lunch

We booked and took advantage of a blue light deal, 20% off and a free drink, drink we had was a glass of wine (£10) and a mock tail (think £8) - Bruschetta came out a minute before our drinks arrived; food didn’t take too long at all before coming out. Pastas decorated very well, very tasty; soon after started to get very busy, staff getting rushed off their feet. Most important part was a massive shoutout to Ethan, despite how busy it was and just after taking an order or two, I asked for the bill- He had a little chat with us whilst sorting out the payment etc and it is super nice to see how much someone enjoys their job and has got enough time to make sure everything was okay whilst getting everything else done. Thank you for making us feel super welcome Ethan!

The location is stunning. Dogs are allowed on the terrace but you cant enter through the terrace ( sign on back menu board). So you go through the restaurant . Only as you enter you are told to carry your dog !! Not a problem as we have a small dog but what a crazy rule , when it would be so much easier if you could enter the back way. As you always used to be able to do. The terrace is totally underused as only the high part is waited on. This restaurant could take so much more money if fully open. On that note, we tried to get in the night before at 7.50 only to be told it was closing. Crazy , but ok ! We love Prezzo so booked for tonight, earlier today with a very friendly male manager. The food was good and tasty but the restaurant has too many niggles to be great. The waiting staff barring the initial member were very friendly. Prezzos prices have really gone up . Its not an exclusive restaurant so stop trying to charge like one !

Poor service , it was a busy weekend with the folk festival on . We popped in at 3.15pm and asked if they did gluten free pizzas , one of the girls was checking then a guy came over and asked us if he could help we said the same , he answered yes and went to hand us a menu , then said when would you like to come in we said now , he said sorry havent got a table until after 8.30 tonight , that was 5 hours later !!! Why did he hand us a menu , and there were 8 tables set up and empty , obviously we would only need an hour. His attitude was very rude and in my view he couldn’t be bothered With a table for two , he was waiting for larger parties. We go to Broadstairs a lot but will never try here again .

Crab and lobster ravioli total waste money . Seven ravioli I got for £18 or what ever it cost I can’t believe they serve up such a small amount and not feel embarrassed. It was more like a stater !!! Pre booked a table for 25th July on arrival was told we could not use our Tastecard as the restaurant is a seasonal site. Sat down and in a friendly way suggested to the lady that seated us it would have been better to update the website before refusing the card. We we met with a shocking answer that we could go and eat next door, which we promptly did. This member of staff needs training or replacing ASAP.

My family brought me here for a birthday lunch. They had requested a sea view and that was exactly what we got! Our waiter Adrian was extremely helpful, friendly and quick. The food we chose was very tasty and hot. I was even surprised with some cheesecake with a candle in and a rousing chorus of 'Happy Birthday'! I would certainly recommend Prezzo's in Broadstairs to anyone whether you book a table or just walk in, they will always welcome you with a smile and hot tasty food!

Sea bass was deep fried, tasted of old oil and not fresh as expected by the sea, Seasonal veg was the same sauce as my daughters on her pasta. School dinner cubed carrots in our sauce very 1970s. Presentation very basic. Also ordered chicken burger and chips, very small portion of chips! The bacon in the burger had also been deep fried. The food was something you would expect from a greasy spoon cafe. Would not return, over priced restaurant looked tired in places wood work, tables and the chairs had hanging material. All in all attention to detail in all areas missing, even the lime in my drink was brown and old.

Not great. Would not return. Starters were ok. All 3 main course were poor. The spaghetti Bolognese had no taste at all. All 3 dishes were only half eaten. The waiting staff did not ask if our food was ok. The restaurant was not busy but the service is poor.

Absolutely awful, waited circa 1hr45 for our mains. Pizza looked anaemic when it did arrive. Over priced, £8.25 a pint🙃

As soon as we arrived, the staff were welcoming and kind. The food was beautifully served and had a great Italian taste. Me and my brother loved our fun and entertaining activity sheets to keep us busy, there was also the brilliant view from the glass roofed room that looks out onto the sea. It was all amazing, but I have to say that my favourite part was the garlic bread. I would highly recommend coming here with kids of all ages to have a nice family meal.

This restaurant blew us away to be honest. The terrace overlooking the sea made us feel like we were dining in the Mediterranean. We really didn't expect the vibe to be quite so lovely and we would return to Broadstairs for this experience alone in all honesty.We came to write this review specifically because of the lady who served us called Gemma. PLEASE Prezzo recognise her incredible service.I came with my husband and we both found her to be one of the best waitresses we have ever encountered. She absolutely nailed the balance of attentive service with a very genuinely friendly demeanour. Even when the restaurant was fully booked and I don't doubt she must have been very rushed it in NO way felt so. I cannot sing her praises enough. She made this Prezzo absolutely blow us away and frankly she needs to be promoted. She is an example to other people in the service industry because of the way she holds herself and interacts, and actually made the restaurant feel really upper class in a good, non stuffy way. Please pass on our feedback because she was just brilliant and a credit to your team. I believe she is based in Canterbury so was only in the Broadstairs restaurant for a month.Regarding the food - it was just amazing - the best Prezzo we have been to,Also as for the person commenting on there being no patio heaters - it clearly says that when you reserve online. I don't think you can take a star off a restaurant review for that.We will be coming again.
