Prezzo in Wiltshire

Terrible! Valentines romantic evening what a joke. Kept waiting over 40 minutes for a booked table. Drinks order taken which then took 15 minutes before being served. Starters we had to wait 45 minutes then main course came out for one and had to wait for the other dish. Hard over cooked chicken. Ravioli stuck to plate. Very poor service and very poor food. Trying to cash in on Valentine’s Day by over booking. Thank you for a terrible experience you have successfully managed to never have our custom again.

Recently Celebrated my wife's birthday in Londons. St Martens, the food and service was fine until it came to pay and use our 50% voucher. Although we're had confirmed with the waitress prior to ordering our meals that we had a 50% voucher which she replied that's fine it will be deducted off the final bill, when it came to payment we were told by the manager that there was a problem with the voucher and the company had a brief earlier in the day making the vouche invalid . We ended up paying the excess amount and the manager advised us to contact Prezzo customer service online. Cut a long story short they said that the voucher we used was the wrong one even though we only received it a day before we actually used it, they sent me a link of the voucher and it was exactly the same as the one I used. So I finally had a refund of the money I had spent on the voucher but was still out of pocket due to the total payment on the night. So basically be aware of any voucher/ buy a gift etc that you use in Prezzo. Personally I will be avoiding Prezzo from now on as the prices are over inflated and also there is a service charge as extra. Just save your time and a wedge of money and get a Marks and Spencer or Tesco meal for 2, believe me they are much tastier and a quarter of the price.

My friend and I went to Prezzo to celebrate our birthdays, we are both disabled, and we were really looked after, by the staff. The food was amazing. We had prosecco which was really chilled which made it more flavoursome, a strawberry placed on the edge of the glass to give a nice finishing touch. We were not rushed, and all the staff were smiling and friendly.

Amazing ! The staff were so so friendly and helpful ! I had spag bol and my boyfriend had the carbonara, his daughters had a kids meal and the other a pizza. We also had sharing garlic bread with mozzarella, food was quick, hot and delicious ! THANK YOU PREZZO TROWBRIDGE ! We will be back

We had arrived early on but had booked a couple of days before we arrived in Trowbridge. We both had the Carbonara , Mrs K as it normally comes and I had the added chicken. It arrived and was plentiful and looked appealing. We also had some garlic bread to accompany our main and it was a very nice evening meal. This was a great evening meal and worth a visit .

Fantastic food, excellent service. We were a bit awkward with ordering and nothing was too much bother... Genuine lovely staff. :)

Came here with my son in half term. Kids eat free with any main meal. His meal was OK. Especially given that it was free. The starter was plentiful and the main was OK. He ate it all. Pudding was tiny. The tiniest scoop of ice cream. We have had fa better portions in other places. My main was spaghetti bolognise. It was disgusting. Can only be compared to a microwave meal. It was watery and cold. I was glad my sons meal was part of the deal as I would have refused to pay for mine if it hadn't been. It was that bad. Probably the worst meal out I have ever had. The staff were pleasant enough but no one asked me how the meal was. A sort of alluf attitude. Overall I would never ever go here again. Frnakie and bennies across the road is far better food for slightly under the cost of prezzo. Do not recommend.

Me and my partner went here for a spontaneous date night. We got a nice welcome and seated quickly. I think then one of the managers served us, we knew what we wanted so ordered quite quick. The food came out at a good pace, however not once did a member of staff do a check back or come over and ask us if we wanted more drinks in which we possibly would have based on how nice they were. Dessert was also nice, but you could tell the strawberries were not fresh as they were solid!

Good variety of dishes to choose from on the set Christmas menu and drinks too. I opted for the mozzarella sticks which was good apart from the cold tomato sauce on the side - slightly off putting. For main my carbonara was fine, fairly tasty but i did have an issue with paying £3 for extra chicken for what was basically a couple of slices! Dessert is normally my favourite course but unfortunately for me it was slightly disappointing, the chocolate cake was quite dry and lacked flavour in my opinion. Service was great however and we were looked after throughout our lunch. The final criticism, which we all commented on, was that the decor didnt feel very Christmassy from where we were sitting. There was the odd decoration here and there but the effort didnt feel made to get into the festive spirit. Overall a fairly good meal, couple of improvements i think could be made here.

Carbonnara was lacking flavour, and had very liitle sauce and was very dry. restaurant would no accept gourmet card, very poor value, 2 drinks, 2 carbonnara and a tirimasu for £65, wont be dining here again.

The food was okay but the service was very slow from the time our order was taken. The drinks were slow even though there was not many drinks the bar staff spent a lot of time talking. We had to wait one hour and fifteen minutes for the food and we never stopped for dessert

Our first time at visiting a Prezzo and it will certainly be our last, booked a table for 3 people due to circumstances only 2 of us made it I can understand why they put us on a table for 2 only on being seated a few couples where sat at larger tables. Quite a varied menu but I believe overpriced too charge £3:75 for basically a can of soft drink unbelievable, we opted for tap water and was expected to drink it out of thimbles. On to the food looked good ok I must say your chef had taken the cooking of a chicken breast to a new level (shoe leather) when I mentioned this to our server she kindly informed us it was due to it being cooked on the grill and there would be no point in getting another one as it would be exactly the same, now myself not trained in the culinary arts have never managed to do this and other establishments I’ve have visited have also not managed to do this, I had the Tuscan sausage on lentils which was ok. Overall an experience I wish I had not experienced, thankfully we had a taste card so the expense wasn’t too bad.

Unfriendly staff. We were sitted by dirty table. Therefore, we asked to move to another table. Food very average and lukerwarm, not worth the money.

Attended a group booking for 16/ 18 people and and told we could not pay in cash. Initially the tables were put together making it difficult for those to access the bench seat to shift themselves up 7/ 8 spaces. The party members had to move the tables to allow access. I went to the bar to order a drink and was asked to take a seat and a waitress would take my order, 20 minutes later I was still waiting. I eventually ordered my meal and asked for water, Cold glasses were produced but it took another 15 minutes for the water to arrive. Some members had discount vouchers but I am not sure if they were able to sort it out with the staff as there were some unexpected restrictions. My meal of Smoked Salmon Penne was very nice but the plate was cold; the meal was hot enough but cooled quickly. Usually when our party goes to other venues we all pay at the bar individually for our chosen meals, but Prezzo produced several copies of the total bill and asked us to identify our own anounts from the total bill at the table with a waitress holding a payment machine. I am unlikey to visit again as the prices are high and wine prices are bordering on extorionate.

Food fine Paid bill using credit card and overcharged by £40. Advised I could either provide my bank details or have a voucher As it was their mistake I didn't like either. Eventually had to provide bank details. Because I made a fuss Rich? Said I was not welcome back. Think he's done me a favour

The food was very average and pricy and bland. When it came to the bill they got it wrong 3 times and not a word of sorry from the manager. Drinks and food very expensive

From arrival to leaving the reception from staff was awful. Firstly there isn’t an option to pay cash. The wait for food was hideous and no mention of this, but was asked three times if we’d like another drink. On the the third time one of three friends I was with pointed this out and the managers response was; They’ve only got one pair of hands and we’d have to wait for our second round of drinks and food. It was pointed out to the manager being a Friday night why isn’t more staff made available. He walked away. A member of staff then was seen using his hands to eat olives from a bowl that was then delivered to customers. Again we pointed this out to him and his response that bowl was for the staff. At the end of the evening a friend did ask to speak to a manager and was told he had just left so she spoke to an assistant manager. When pulling the male staff after eating the olives he blatantly denied it. They did refund a round of drinks, however neither one of us will be returning again. I’d also like to ask Prezzo to rethink their card only option as many systems do go down and there wasn’t a cash machine near, so how will they expect customers to pay once this does and will happen.

Thay wouldn't split a bill between 4 and 6 and It was ridicules thay didn't let us split ther bill..

Very disappointing birthday meal with my husband. The starters were ok, but our main courses (risotto and Caesar salad) were overpriced and decidedly average for what was delivered. My risotto was bland and tasted as though the cheapest ingredients had been chucked in a big bucket and slapped on my plate. Flavourless goop with some cheap Iceland prawns thrown in. For fifteen quid this was daylight robbery. We didn’t bother with a pudding and just had an ice cream at the cinema opposite instead. The place also has as much atmosphere as a works canteen. We won’t be rushing to come back.

As a usual customer I was so excited when lockdown restrictions lifted meaning we could book in to our favourite restaurant! My family and I visited on Saturday evening and it was completely packed inside, granted food took slightly longer than usual but the service was still top notch as usual. Ordered a delivery order - food arrived hot and the packaging really helped to keep the foot presentable. The burger arrived looking perfect! All food was really tasty, and the online offers are amazing value . There was a hiccup with the order but this was resolved quickly. Can’t wait to be able to come in and eat.

So today we visited and when booking the table in instructions/requests I entered we wanted to use defence discount. So when we entered the staff member never said we couldn’t as it shows on the screen to them. We sat at the table to have the waitress attend, mentioned it and she said because it’s Boxing Day u can’t use it. So I stated well we will leave and go somewhere else then. She then said “ok I will honk ring it today for u because it doesn’t tell u u can’t use it today when booking” so the 4 of us ordered and the food was delicious. We then asked for the bill and a different member of staff said no you can’t have the discount. I explained what the waitress had said so they went to check. She then came back and said “sorry no only Tesco vouchers can be used on Boxing Day” well I asked before we even ordered!!! We would have left if we had been told defo no from the start! Absolutely disgusting that they didn’t honour it nice we had eaten! Will never visit prezzo again! Avoid Trowbridge as you clearly get lied to just to get your money!

We love Prezzo... not been to this one before. It was ok. The drinks were nice but they took longer to come out than our food which is unusual. The calamari starters have changed considerably, they were nice but not the norm, like little fat dumpling things instead. The pasta was ok, it was more just tomato sauce and a chilli, no real flavour. We had it a forno and aksed if we wanted cheese on top to which we said yes, but it was literally a dollop of mozzarella, on top of the cheese used to bake in the oven. It was unnecessary and odd. One child had a calzone - it was massive! She loved it though... Waitress was excellent. A lovely polish woman with blonde hair - exceptional table manner and a delight to have waiting on our table. She gets 5* but the food has to bring it down as that is why you go to a restaurant - to eat. Used Tesco vouchers for a cheap night out.

had two very good visits here the first visit was very good i found the 2nd visit not so good i felt rushed to order my food. The food was very nice on both times i had the salmon pasta which i enjoyed however on the 2nd i added king prawns to it which made it a lot more meaty. The children are generally fairly fussy but they managed to get a good meal and they enjoyed there pizza and garlic bread. I think it is sad that there dessert menu is very limited i would like more variety of desserts to choose from. Sadly with having children we had to have dessert in frankie & benny's opposite on both occasions. If i was on my own i would of just skipped dessert but children really wanted one.

Tried the new spinach, olive and mushroom pizza tonight -had high hopes but came covered in rocket which over powered everything- not necessary and ruined it completely. Tomato base also hugely synthetic and overall not enjoyed sadly.

We went here for a lunchtime meal. Meal was very hot and the service from the waitress was fantastic. My only moan would be the price, I would say at the moment in the restaurant business that if food is overpriced restaurants like this will struggle. It wouldn’t be so bad if they paid the staff more money but they don’t!

Went on Monday with the 50% off deal. Restaurant was very busy but service was excellent. The food was great also. The only negative aspect was the dark haired waitress constantly addressing me as "my dear". Made me feel very old and I found it patronising and rude.

Despite a very limited lunch menu and being extremely busy can't fault the service! Attentive and polite really can't do enough . Food was lovely and with the 50% off a lovely treat the dish chicken with mushrooms and garlic was nice but a little bland and missing something! But everything was otherwise nice and will visit again.

I had always thought Prezzo would be a typical food chain with average service and average meals. However, my wife and I visited on a Friday when this restaurant was nearly full and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent in spite of the numbers eating and the food was really quite good!We will return in the future.

My partner and I went here on Valentines night and could not of had a better experience. The whole place was packed with extra tables everywhere, the staff though were so relaxed and professional. They took the time to talk to us and answered our questions on certain dishes and drinks. The service was excellent and the food amazing, we had great cocktails and finished with a salted caramel dessert, I can not praise the staff, service and food enough. Cannot wait for our next visit.

We took our granddaughter to Prezzo for a special treat for her 11th Birthday, she has a dairy allergy, and eating out is a challenge. There was nothing on the children's menu without a dairy content! The adult menu only offered aubergine or chilli king prawn, none of which were suitable for a child. The staff clearly did not have enough training in allergies and struggled to provide her with a meal which was dairy free to her liking, in the end she was offered pasta in a tomato sauce with added chicken. It should have been easy enough to provide something like a spaghetti with meat balls without the cheese! but the staff did not have either the ability or the knowledge to do this. We have eaten at prezzo before without our granddaughter, and enjoyed good service, I feel the company need to take allergies far more seriously, staff need a lot more training and the ability to vary set menus.

Went to this restaurant on February 13th. Food was lovely & especially enjoyed the chilli & cheese dough balls.Although Our meal did feel rather rushed though hardly anytime between courses! When we went to pay for our meal we gave the waitress the cash. She just presumed the change was theirs. We thought this wasn't right! Surely the customer has the right to decide if we want to give a tip or not? In fact we thought it was rather rude.

Had an ok meal here. Pizza was nice and service good. Desert choice was a little disappointing however. Decor is very nice but star knocked off due to the maitre'd having no socks on. Who the hell thinks that is an acceptable look in a restaurant?!

We visited Prezzo using Meerkat 2 4 1 on a Sunday.We have been to Prezzo a few times before and the best way of descibing the service on previous visits would he variable but we have always given the beneft of the doubt and gone back.Following our last visit in November we will not go back to Prezzo as the service was very poor and both pizzas arrived stone cold and both pizzas were replaced, but the staff do not seem to care when you complain.Also if booking a table online there is no real point in filling in the special request / requirements section as everytime we had visited we requested a window seat and our request was only fulfilled when we asked the waiting staff despite there normally being empty tables in the window.

Post cinema early dinner after a great film. Not too busy, good menu and really nice staff. Always reliable and enjoyable

Taking grandkids to the flicks, needed a quick lunch. Prezzo couldn't be more convenient, right opposite. Had perhaps the most delicious pizza I've had for a long time, with granddaughter raving over the pizza dough, as starter with garlic butter, and dessert with Nutella! All beautifully served by Gemma. Pity we're only here on holiday, otherwise would be regular visitors.

So lucky to have Prezzo on our doorstep. The food and service are excellent. We often go on a Monday with a voucher code. Really can’t fault the quality of the food. Pizzas are delicious and I’m quite picky about the dough and their’s is top rate

Visited on a buyagift voucher from a friend. Had a lovely meal and great service by Jorge. He was very knowledgeable with the menu and wine choices, and let me try a small taste of the wine to make sure it was suitable to what I wanted. Service was with a smile and kindess. Food was delicious and warm. We ordered a chicken pizza and a carbonara. The carbonara was a bit bland, but the pizza was lovely. We also had starters (olives, mozzarella sticks and pizza rolls) and desserts (sticky toffee pidding and cheesecake) which were all very nice.

Just wanted to say we have had a lovely meal here today. Visiting from South Wales, Ela split our bills for us and was absolutely lovely throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

I have reviewd this venue before - see my earlier review. Prezzo Restaurant is part of a complex in Trowbridge comprising the local Odeon cinema and other restaurants. It is almost opposite the cinema and consequently very convenient for a meal. There is a reasonable menu, but not special. The restaurant is large, the food is OK, the service is good once you have placed your order, the staff are friendly, but the venue is very popular and as a result very noisy. Parking is available immediately outside the premises and in a multi storey car park nearby..

I live a short walk from this restaurant and we go there several times a year for family special occasions - in this case, to mark the end of the summer holidays (enabled by a 'kids eat for £1' offer).

Really enjoy our meal here. Good value with Tesco vouchers. Huge restaurant and nicely styled. Loved the kids meal. Good quality and value but not incredible in Tesco deal. Puddings a bit sickly for my taste.

An absolutely packed restaurant on Friday night. However, our food was still excellent, and the service as good as always. Love this place, the food, staff and atmosphere have to make it 10/10

Prezzo has a nice atmosphere , especially if you sit by the window, the staff are pleasant enough.

I’ve organise my leaving Do at Prezzo Trowbridge for around 30 people. I must to say that was great choince. Kasia and her team were veary welcoming and everything was just on the top. The food was grate and the coctails are smashing. In case if you are looking for perfect place to organise a party I would rekomend this restaurant. Dear Prezzo thank you again for amazing experience.

Visited here on a Saturday night with 2 friends, we had booked but they were very busy so had to wait for 10 minutes before our table was ready. Service was a bit hit and miss, drinks forgotten, had to ask for menus but after these few hiccups everything went smoothly. Really good food and served quickly after ordering, we had a free bottle of prosecco from an e mail voucher, which we all enjoyed with our desserts.

Excellent value when using the kids eat for £1 voucher! Pleasantly surprised that there are a few vegan options for starters and main courses now, but very disappointed that there is not a single vegan option for dessert! So I had no dessert...:-(

Of the big casual Italian chains - Pizza Express, Ask Etc. - I think Prezzo is the best. The food is not subtle of nuanced but you don’t go to this type of place for that - you go here for decent portions and straightforward punchy flavours at a fair price and Prezzo delivered last night with pizzas which with bases as close to the ones i’ve had in Italy as any I’ve sampled from one of the chains plus nice chunky meat toppings and a carbonara which was hardly authentically Italian but was a big-flavoured treat. Our server was fast, efficient and polite and the voucher kept the price down nicely. Good job.

Seated within 2 mins over coming in, had a choice of tables and where we wanted to sit! Order taken at a perfect time and food came out incredibly quickly. Food was DELICIOUS. All staff were friendly and attentive. Will 100% go back.

Very good food with good presentation, good service and good atmosphere. They provide gluten free alternatives.

I know its not ideal if you have a Garlic and Onion allergy. The Head chef was most diligent about his food he was cooking, in the end he came up with a salad with grilled salmon on it, but I couldn't have the salad dressing because it had Garlic in it.

Buyagift always run a great promo around Xmas where you can get 3 courses for 2 people with a drink for £20. We use them when on weekends away - this was the nearest branch to where we were staying

Very convenient for the Premiere Inn, wheelchair friendly. An excellent extensive menu, Spoilt for choice. Very helpful and prompt service. Well cooked, presented and served. Just a shame about the unnecessary ‘canned’ music.

This was a good evening out with the family. It's never going to win a Michelin Star, but if (like us) you want nice food at a reasonable price you can't go wrong here

Good food as always but a member of staff was rude to my teenage son...she took everybody’s plates before he’d finished reached across him and took his drink that he hadn’t finished and was generally disrespectful but only to him...she was pregnant but that’s no excuse to treat him that way he didn’t deserve it and he often visits restaurants with no problems at all as he isn’t a trouble making teenager

We had not booked, met at the door by pleasant waitress who showed us to our table.

we visited Prezzo in Trowbridge tom celebrate our birthdays and our wedding anniversary. It was lovely. Excellent food, very good friendly service. Prosecco is overpriced but everything else was very good VFM.

After a very long day sight seeing everywhere around we decided to use a voucher which was a gift for us at this fine establishment, i don’t think it was a voucher they usually had but the manager and i checked it out beforehand and it seemed fine, 2x starters, 2x mains, 2x desserts , a glass of wine and a bottle of beer or soft drink.

Fab food, the best we’ve had, and we’ve been loads of times. Good and quick service, great staff and superb food. Rocket salad was ace! We will be back for sure.

I know it's a chain so I'm not expecting Michelin star quality, but blimey it was poor.

Had a casual dinner with my friend. We have recieved very good service from Dominika and other Slovak blond girl. Food nice and tasty. Will be back. Thank you:-)
