'Majid' from the Unit 1 City Rd, Oliver's Yard, London Store was really helpful and provided great service today. A real asset to the company.

They seem to randomly change their opening hours a lot.

The guy handled coins and then didn’t wash his hands and handled my food with his bare hands…

The afro-faced clerk here always has the worst attitude. Since the first time I used this place, he hasn't said a word to me. The other clerks provide normal customer service, but that man's customer service is extremely unpleasant.

Nabil was amazing to me and my coworker, we were charity fundraising and he gave us warm drink and food and was very kind!!

Says it's opening at 6am..but no one cares..customers waiting outside and one even come to let us know they are opening late today..awful customer service.

Pret's OK. Food is OK. But there are waaaaaaay too many of them on the high street (often 3 or 4 on the same street) that they get boring and the food ends up a bit meh. I think of going in but I don't. Boring and uninspiring

A comfortable branch of Pret with the usual foods and drinks on offer. There is usually a seat, even at busy times and the location is convenient for Old Street Station and west Shoreditch.

No working restroom for customers to wash hands… not ideal after a long flight after having touched the banisters on the tube

Mud on salad! Not the first time. You guys never wash it before serve to the customer… very unhygienic!

None of the tables were clean, there was also very little food to choose from when we went there on a Saturday mid day.

Prets in London are a dime a dozen. Especially when you go to the ones in Central (especially during peak hours), you can expect nothing but extremely rushed service and mediocre drinks. I however found that the staff at this location were very friendly and polite - and they made a nice flat white, for a typically grey London day. Thanks for going above and beyond!

I always love the service that other customers and myself receive in this pret! The assistants are always friendly and welcoming, the shelves are stocked, the food and drinks are nice! Can’t complain!

Average Pret, nice layout, quite busy. I'm not sure how frequently the tables are cleaned, but not often enough.

Exceptionally noisy location with the majority of customers talking so loudly it was on the verge of shouting. Staff constantly screaming out the drinks orders, difficult to tell who was trying to outdo who. The worse coffee experience I’ve had in London. Coffee was hot which was a bonus.

I popped in just to get a late breakfast. Busy branch but not like some of the city branches. Had a nice atmosphere. Reasonable selection of products. Clean. I wanted the bircher muesli bowl which they had but all the bowls were half full. I didn't want to pay for half a bowl. If they didn't have ingredients, it would be better to make fewer bowls that were full! I had the five berry granola bowl in the end which was more generous. It was nice but nothing amazing. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Service was good.

New staff member being trained up, they were friendly and efficient as were all the other staff members training them and serving. Very pleasant experience.

Service from Emily is the best I’ve ever seen in any Pret. She takes the time to be friendly and engage with customers and is genuine and funny. First time I’ve ever even taken service into account at a Pret. I’d come back just to chat to her.

Fairly typical Pret but with a large footfall. Hence quite a few staff. While the staff keep the coffees flowing there is an element of repressed chaos as they all get in other's way, both physically and audibly. Good choice of products and we'll maintained.

Brought some sandwiches, small selection, but had the Christmas Turkey sandwich already in July😠

Out of their own admission they cannot make decaf because the machine needs cleaning and they’re not doing it. This happens everyday and i have nothing else to add.

Typical Pret fare, some comfy seats and tends to get less busy than other Pret in the area. Used to be an EAT shop. Staff was friendly, tables/floors could be cleaner.

Not overly impressed with the service - slow. You need an access number to go to the toilet!

What would we do without Pret? Affordable and delicious food and beverages. Free WiFi. Plenty of space and power sockets for ones who need to work. Conveniently located at every street corner

Great location, one of the few coffee shops open early in the vicinity, friendly staff, large branch, and always busy, shuts pretty early and I think its shut over the weekend. people from all walks of life congregate here, early morning its contractors and builders, I forgot to mention that they have tables outside too, during the day workers in the area flood the place, this area is full of advertising and design firms, the area has lots of arty people and hipsters 😄

It's a Pret, you known what you are in for. Fast, fresh and healthy options to eat in it take out.

Used to stop here at between 8 and 9 on a Saturday morning to have breakfast in and to buy lunch to take out. Waste of time now though...seeds often unavailable to go with the porridge and rarely much of a selection of food for lunch to take away. Not sure why this one has gone off now but clearly something is wrong!

They make a nice mocha. It is not every coffee shop that can make a good coffee.

I've never been to a bad Pret, always a great stop for a coffee and a pastry. I will say that I do see fewer and fewer of them with a blender for frappes, and they make a great one. So disappointing

A quick lunch can still be of good quality. That's what I like about Pret A Manger. They have a good balance of price and quality and they offer a big variety of sandwiches, salads, but also warm lunch options. The staff is always quick and friendly. At least at the shops I have visited. Highly recommending it!

The tuna nicoise salad is the best version I've tasted of the pre-prepared variety. The freshly made baguettes are lovely as are their coffee and pastries. This branch had fast service and plenty of seating.

Have now given up on this Pret. Shelves mostly empty day after day after day, no veggie sandwiches available at all this morning, my coffee order wrong two days in a row, staff rude when I pointed this out. Voting with my feet, there are plenty of proper sandwich shops nearby, especially down Epworth street where they're not chains, and do genuinely care about their customers

Like with any franchise, you expect each branch to offer the same food of the same quality, like a good church (minus the molestation). This branch, however, doesn't live up to the standard especially when it comes to hot food. So, if you are really hungry and not snobbish, eat your heart out. If you are prone to 'tut tut' like a classic Brit then avoid the hot food.

Food and service always excellent

Went there first time as had to go hospital opposite and had my family with me. To the female staff in the london pret a manger who made a scene standing behind me of me gently wiping my daughters face and hands off with water of how it is drinking water, I didn't see anyone else making a stupid scene as you did and loudly talking down at me instead of talking properly telling me to go and take my child to the toilet. One word of advice don't ever speak to paying customers like that! Rude, disgusting behaviour by staff and no adequate skills of communication and clueless about where and how far people come. Don't ever stand behind a paying customer unless you want food thrown in your face. Won't be bothering with this place as found a better place who got staff who knows how to communicate with customers and don't make a pathetic scene as well. Pret already got a bad rap as it is and it is time for management to wake up and set training in communication and customer service.

Excelente atención y ambiente. Los precios son económicos comparados con el resto de la oferta en Londres. Los productos son frescos, orgánicos y la mayoría sin conservantes. Una opción sana y rica para un buen desayuno. También tienen sandwiches y ensaladas como para un almuerzo liviano. Muy recomendable.

Food and drinks quality are consistent with pret standards. However staff is what makes it the best in the area. Everyone is always smiling and in a good mood.

Got the 99p filter coffee at Pret A Manger today, was very tasty and great value for money. Nice clean shop and their range of food is great and tasty as well. Will hopefully be back if in the area and looking for a quick coffee and lunch stop. Wifi was also quick and reliable, a great spot to get some work done.

Please don't go here if you are expecting good service Went for tea and coffee for my partner and I was given 2 teas and 1 coffee. I asked for a refund but they tried to offer a pastry instead., then I was told to wait. I waited then eventually got my refund. Sat down wanting to put the experience behind me but a sign that was supposed to be fixed to the wall fell on my head, I took the sign and left it on the counter and told the server that the sign has just fell on my head, expecting some sort of an apology I just got an eye roll from all staff that was working that day. I have put that experience behind me so therefore i won't visit again, but I do wonder if all staff at these outlets are getting the proper training. Obviously not by today's standard's.

My partner and I came in here this morning. First they got our order wrong because the staff could not understand us, I then asked for a refund for the extra tea they ordered but they looked extremely unhappy with this and tried to offer us an extra pastry we decided to let this go and sat in a cosy corner however a sign that wasn't fixed correctly on the wall fell onto our heads whilst drinking our beverages. I took the sign and left it on the counter and told the server that this has just fell on my head. Pret had 3 members of staff working this morning and not one of them offered an apology for this again they looked at us as if we were a mere inconvience to them. I wonder if you actually train ypur staff in customer service because it did not show this morning.

An airy and spacious branch, clean and comfortable with views of a full-on-hectic outside passing show. The usual jiggle of their well-established formula referencing and reiterating contemporary preferences. Reliably fresh, stylish and mostly healthy at a moderate price but showing little in the way of reinvention on a by-now overfamiliar selection. Still go-to dependable but the sparkle muted, the ⭐️ dimmed.

This Pret is quite big with always enough place to sit. The staff always been great with me, I consider it as a very good Pret :)

I used to love Pret, and have been going ever since the first branch opened in St Martin's Lane. However, the standard of the food has gone down at the same rate the prices have increased, so I don't think it's very good value anymore.

I purchased, what I thought, was a chicken & broccoli soup as I was looking for a snack before heading to a meeting. I was disappointed at the amount of chicken and broccoli in the soup and at the prices Pret charges expected a bit more than a Knorr stock cube with some boiling water.

Good sized seating area, perfect for anyone wanting to check emails / get on with some work. Quick service and the usual selection available for a Pret.
