Pret A Manger in Southwark

Welcome stop on way to tube. Nice coffee .. interesting popcorn cake .. rapid turnover of customers.

There is a bathroom but it is mostly used by people who come from outside without consuming and then leave. I would recommend writing outside the door as they do in Italy that the use of the toilet is for customers only. For the rest everything is very good.

Wanted to give a coffee to a homeless man round the corner. Told one of the workers at Pret, Siri, our fantastic barista & she gave it on the house! Incredible service! The secret to living is giving! Pay it forward people!

Got rudely forced out 10 minutes before closing while other people were buying drinks.

Very nice small coffee shop with outstanding service. Hot tasty coffee and you have to try their hot toast, it’s incredible. Manager Gilberto went out and beyond when me and my friend was wondering on selection to help us with choices. What a positive and wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

The thing that caught my eye the most when I came to England was Pret a Manger. I was surprised by the incredible number of stores, as if I was walking and couldn't see Pret a Manger, I could see the next Pret a Manger. I thought I'd try it at least once, but maybe the store I ended up in wasn't very good, and I was disappointed because the coffee wasn't good at all. The opening and closing of the entrance door is very noisy and creates a bad atmosphere. The staff was nice.

Very rude female manager, asking us to leave although we ordered so much food, drinks and coffee just because my daughter ate a doughnut from the borough market. Can’t believe such attitude still exists.

Awful pret, coffee taste like piss. Customer service is rude and quick like they want to rush you off your feet. Honestly. Coffee not substantial. Didn't actually taste like a cappuccino. Asked to stay in, they charged an extra 20p and still give me a take out cup? Weird. Vibes not right here.

Not the best Pret but super conveniently located. Opposite Borough Market and right by London Bridge station - although there’s also a Pret at the station. Arrived and there were quite a few items out of stock. The food wasn’t to a good standard and I ended up switching my wrap for another. The staff were clueless about collecting stars, but friendly enough. Coffee was good though.

I love this Pret! So much personality and finally good to see a place where the people aren't robots! Why can't more Prets be like this??...

Meh, staff didn't know about vegan or gluten free products, toilet was 'broken', the place wasn't very clean clean and general service was quite rude. Big shame.

The guy serving this morning was very rude - tall, blonde, facial hair, slim. I tried to ask where my drink was and he told me off for interrupting him. I didn't - he was waiting for someone to accept their drink. When I finally got my drink he offered no apology for my extended wait, even when I said an apology would be nice. Made me feel upset and angry to start my day. What a shame pret. You used to be good. I used to work for you and love the brand. Not any more.

Great staff however the manager is probably worst I've ever seen in customer service. The only time I saw her smile was when she saw a dog. Perhaps if she likes dogs more than people - career change would be a great idea. I feel pity for her staff as they're always looking panicked as she bosses them around. Lovely blond girl barista and a guy that works there but the manager is incredibly rude. I'm now choosing to go to the bigger pret down the road solely to avoid her and her miserable attitude. Bigger pret has amazing staff, always welcoming and smiling. I'm local and pop in several times a day (love the subscription!) but this woman literally ruins my day with her rudeness and seeing the way she treats staff.

racist to asians. asked them politely in my normal voice if I could get a croissant. Lady responded looking mad and annoyed:”u have to speak louder!!!!!!” Don’t know what the customer did to receive such service.

Pret needs no introduction. They serve good coffee and I like their breakfast bowls as well

Weird manager on 16/04 wanted to kick us out from 5.50pm even though they are closing at 6pm no wonder the Pret in the US are doing much better. Tourists and locals avoid this socalled Pret at all costs.

Incredibly rude female manager. I consistently order from Pret for corporate lunches for my office and she is horrific to deal with. Never wants to help, if you ask her for the food to be delivered earlier than 12:30, which seems like a fairly normal request considering lunch time is from 12:00, she gets extremely agitated and will blame it on being short staffed. I've heard this excuse over and over but it just sounds like she is overwhelmed with the responsibilities and time management is not her strong suit. I have consistently asked Pret for our chosen store to be Tooley Street as the manager there is incredible, always going above and beyond and will try and help where possible. The manager from Borough should perhaps sit in and watch how customer service should be done, because frankly that is a skill she just does not possess.

I'm only giving a one star to discuss how rude the manager (lady) is. I do think the staff work really hard as I go there every morning but their manager is really rude and she literally came out today to shout at the barista in front of everyone! I'm sorry that I did not say anything but I will support you next time!

This pret never take order for cold drinks... Its been a year I subscribe with them never they allow me to give my cold drink... If ask for cold drink same dialog for one year " ice machine got problem can't serves now" 😏

With so many pret stores, in London Bridge, this one is clearly the only disorganised one.

The manager here is SO MEAN! haven’t see anything like it. She’s humiliates her staff in front of customers. I feel so bad for them. She was really rude to me the other day too. Really horrid grumpy lady 24/7

Very bad staff. Manager was extremely rude to me. They always look miserable. Wanted to buy an apple and they were all old, wrinkly and soft?! surely you replenish your apples and fruit ???? Overall terrible experience - only thing that was nice was the coffee as at all prets.

Worse pret ever. They are unable to keep the staff and the manager is extremely rude to the staff and sometimes to customers (from minority ethnicity black/South Asian and Arab). Now I understand why the staff is always panicing. Ps: it take them a couple of time to get your coffee right even if you are a regular for more than a year.

Went to spend £7 and tried to pay with £10 note. Refused to serve me because I only had cash to pay and they did not have the cash to give me the change. CASH! Absolutely disgraceful.

Sandwiches are half filled. Bread is dry. That is really a piss take. I have tried calling 3 times, someone picks up the phone then hangs up straight away. Awful customer service

This branch was open on sunday in the city where as several other branches were closed. Right beside london bridge station so perfect if using the tube. Food/drink same as all other branches.

Fast service, clean friendly. Good choice of food. Lots of space.

Many options, also for vegan and vegetarian people. Perfect when you are on a rush and need to have something quick.

Good place to go for a pre-work coffee, full of friendly staff who work with a smile. I knocked one star off as the music is too loud and too rubbish 😂

They always seem to forget to make my coffee and actually have to ask me what i ordered. This has happened way too many times now with people just walking in getting their coffee (same order as mine) before me. These guys have made me late for work too many times now, and the Pret down the road is a million times better with better staff and quicker service. Also my latte never actually tastes the same and half the time i don't even get a full cup, theres normally way too much froff

Grabbed a wrap& sandwich &2drinks at the the end of a very long day. Still had a good choice&nice to be greeted with a friendly smile
