Worse KFC branch in the UK, extremely rude and disgraceful staff. The entire branch needs to be closed down and the staff needs to be sacked! They are not fit to be working a customer service role, if they speak to their customers with such contempt.

Absolutely delightful visit.The staff at the front were wonderfully warm and made us feel properly looked after from the moment we walked in.

I had a very disturbing experience at KFC Borough High Street. I discovered a foreign object in my food — something that should never have made it past even the most basic hygiene or quality checks. I’ve attached a photo for reference, because frankly, words don’t do justice to how unacceptable it was. I raised the issue immediately. KFC claimed to have conducted a “thorough investigation” within less than 24 hours — an unlikely timeframe for a genuine review of a serious food hygiene issue. I followed up with an email to express my concern and received no response. Instead, they offered a £15 voucher, which I refused. I’m not looking for handouts — I want accountability. The experience was enough to put me off ever eating there again. If this is their idea of high standards, I dread to think what goes unnoticed. This isn’t just disappointing — it’s a potential health risk.

The staffs were very quick and efficient while my order. The wings were hot and freshly fried. Store and toilet was clean too. Will definitely visit this branch again :) Heads up to the staffs!

I ordered Zinger Burger Box Meal with 2 Hot Wings set and medium-sized chicken popcorn. I would say the fried chickens were extremely small. They were just like a little big bigger than a baby fist 😀 I was shocked since the KFC fried chicken in Malaysia is way more bigger than here. The staff at the front desk was not welcoming and she even forgot to give my gravy 😀

Having worked at a different kfc previously as a manager and knowing the regimental standards KFC demands from their employees I was shocked to witness the catastrophic scenes from my visit on Thursday afternoon around 4pm and had I had been the ROCC I would’ve of shut you down. From a customers point of view, the floors were in need of a clean. There were no clean tables in the restaurant, I had to clear the rubbish off my own table, i asked one of the two guys on the front counter and they gave me sanitiser and blue roll, to clean the table myself (From a H&S/ COSH pov that’s crazy). The lobby was over run by delivery drivers at one point, waiting there for orders but no one was actually eating anything from the restaurant. Whilst I waited for my food I sat and observed everyone working, if I could spot even a whiff of the duty manager I would’ve called them over and of informed them of the nightmare of ship they are ‘running’. My order was given to another customer and vice versa, specific food hygiene procedures were not being followed in the kitchen such as improper use of red aprons etc. When I got my food, it did not come in the grease proof box it was supposed to and was all thrown into one paper bag. They charge a considerable amount more than my local KFCs , you would think that means the labour budget would allow you to staff the place well enough to operate to the required standard. I will not be eating here again anytime soon, and if the franchise/ area manager reads this I would probably recommend having a good look at the management within this store if any, and working out where the problem lies here.

It is clear and obvious according to your reviews but, if manager is sooo unprofessional and doesn’t give a two crap about customer service, just close. Anyway you failed with managing this branch.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was by far the nastiest and dirtiest "restaurant" I have ever eaten at. The worst thing was the toilet, which was so dirty that you were afraid of getting sick just by entering it. I would absolutely advise against eating there.

The estimated delivery time is an absolute joke. KFC is by definition supposed to be fast food and Just eat must have sufficient data to provide more accurate estimates than this. not the first time I've had this. very upset. additionally there was supposed to be free popcorn chicken with the order which didn't come!!!

The staff are incredible rude and most of the time ignore customers. they spend more time talking to each other in their native language than giving customers their whole attentions and doing their job properly. Today they forgot my 8 wings from my party bucket and they are not answering the phone. I do not recommend this branch AT ALL! Such a shame the Old Kent Rd branch shut down.

The food was alright and Sadly the worst toilet I've ever been to. No paper, tissues thrown on the floor, toilet peed all over. When asked if the disabled toilet could be opened the asian girl explained they didn't have the key, I explained my toddler needed the loo and there was no tissues also and she pointed out at the napkins in the Counter. I honestly felt like throwing up my food. I've been to so many kfc branches and this toilet is by far the worst! And very disappointing staff don't care when you tell them the toilet needs cleaning and paper. Will not be dining here again, lack of hygiene.

The worst experience of my life at this KFC. The staff was extremely rude. They were not welcoming at all. Every thing that we asked that denied staright away as like we asked them for toilet soap the lady(Sushmita) told us that we don’t have soap. After that, we ordered food. They served us extremely bad quality food. The burgers were cold and not properly made. There was no difference in fillet burger and zinger burger as you can see photos. The shift manager was seems like gangster as he was starring us all the time in very angry mood. The manager should teach the team. The lobby was very worst as we sat there about 40 minutes but no one came to clean the lobby.

Delivery was very good, driver followed instructions very well but the two hot wings were missing from my order.

Worst ordering experience. Ordered during work lunch break via the self-ordering machines. Payment was approved and I received a receipt and order number so I waited for my food. After about 15 mins I asked where my order was, and the manager checked and said ‘it didn’t come through’, shouting and raising his voice at me. I proceeded to show him my receipt, order number as well as my bank transaction, but he just kept repeating that it didn’t come through to his system. This is ridiculous and they didn’t even process the order again for me. I just had to leave with no food and 25 mins wasted, oh and no refund. Just because you are a huge chain, doesn’t mean you should ignore customer service. Will not be going back to KFC again.

Really disappointed here. I ordered their BBQ chicken meal combo and only after opening it did I realise it was cold. The food tasted like it's been sat there for a while too. I wouldn't recommend going in late at night as they'll probably just give you what they have on the shelf rather than make it fresh. Understandably the staff are probably not getting paid much but as customers we deserve more. I paid nearly £14 for a meal for one and the soft drink was flat too. I'd defo check your meal before accepting it. Try better please guys. Update: Kfc did make an attempt to resolve the issue after reaching out, however if I do return I'll aim to be a bit more cautious and check my food instead of blindly assuming their standards.

The Chicken was old and cold. Chicken Wings disappointing The Buffalo bites drowned in orange sauce. Not nice. My Burger was the same cold and far too much sauces. KFC isn’t what it once was. No napkins. Sadly I will not be ordering anymore.

Dined in. Lady serving couldn't understand when we asked if they served an unseeded bun. Got wife's order then had to order mine after because she didn't understand I wanted a fillet tower meal! Tables were dirty, asked for a cloth, she said not enough staff to wipe tables, handed me some sealed hand wipes which when opened were so old they had dried out. Toilets unisex smelt of spilt urine and were far from acceptable. AVOID.....

I recently dined at kfc and was extremely disappointed. The food quality was far below expectations. The a bucket of chicken and sandwich was bland and undercooked, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price.Unfortunately, the poor food was not the only issue.
