A male member of staff was really rude.

I waited a long time and saw that my friend got her drink first and people who ordered much after me getting their drinks as well. I asked the staff about my coffee and they were incredibly rude and replied with "it's coming" and "we've already handed one out". I got my drink 1 minute later however it was lukewarm and not hot at all. Horrible customer service and very rude staff. The worst pret I've been to in UK by far.

Popped in while visiting the area. Great swift friendly service, savouries were scrumptious, sweet cake was amazing and the coffee latte was hot. Clean tables and great atmosphere with music choice, could quite easily watch the world go by all day.

With the subscription pret is great value for money without not so much, the refreshers are really nice but not worth the cost if not paying for club pret monthly

Ghastly cuppa - served tea bag in with milk until I objected. Second cup cheap taste.Looks better than it tastes. Avoid.

Being late on a Friday midday is not a surprise and wouldn’t keep me from ordering again.

Ordered from Pret many times, this time, they called to say one of the items was out of stock, I selected another item and they gave me a free croissant to say sorry. Thank you! 😁

Felt like they were doing you a favour serving me at my last breakfast visit, however probably a bad day generally good here.

A very solid experience overall. The buttered croissants were probably the best I have had for a while. There is, however, not much seating but that is not much of a problem.

Delivery perfect but not Prets usual quality. Food looked rather wilted and sorry for itself which is unusual for Pret

Found it quite expensive for a coffee and hot snack. Almost £9! Nothing was labelled at the time so had to ask what things were. Found the food pretty tasteless which others seem to of found. Also my latte tasted of vanilla.

Tasty and prompt. Only real complaint is that recently a lot of their breakfast stuff is unavailable.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my anger and dismay regarding the disturbing service at PRET QUEENS ROAD. At around 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday 25 January, a middle-aged lady staff was asking me to order. I was not sure if PRET provides milk for people to buy, so I replied to her 'Do you have milk?'. Then, she seemingly identified that I'm a foreigner with an accent, so she became quite arrogant. She corrected my pronunciation of 'milk' two times. However, I always use this type of pronunciation but no one doesn't understand me. She, however, used a very condescending manner to correct my pronunciation. Then, something even more unacceptable happened. This middle-aged lady then said to me what I said was rude and she said I should say 'can I have milk?'. However, the fact is that I didn't know whether PRET provides milk, so I asked 'Do you have milk'. If they have, then I'll say 'can I have milk'. But when I just finished saying 'do you have milk', this lady started to think I was rude and actually her behavior has offended me two times as I described above. She is absolutely a racist. Therefore, I wanted to bring it to your attention and hold her accountable. Many thanks and best wishes, Li

A great place to grab a hot drink and a sandwich, especially if you’re a Bristol University student! The drinks and sandwiches can be on the pricey side, but the coffee subscription is great and saves money too. The staff are friendly and nice as well!

Charmless maybe, but the sandwhiches snacks and fast food are a lot better than most. Coffee's good too. Eat in or out Try their posh club sandwich or ham and cornishon roll. Both are really rather good. Interesting soup too.

Too busy to take online orders but accepting them anyway and taking the money. Rude staff on phone who said it wasn’t his problem.

We had a shocking experience in this Pret today. 1 hour before close staff member going around and asking if anyone needs to use a toilet because they were closing them. And it got even worse. At 4pm (store closes at 4.30pm) Team Leader was kicking everyone out because apparently they have to clean the store. Wow! Should this not be done after closing at 4.30pm? I get it it’s Friday and they want to go home but your opening hours say that you are closing at 4.30pm. We chose this store because one closer to our work is closing at 4pm and we need that extra hour to have a meeting. Disappointing.

Manager's attitude is off-putting - the feeling is that customers are an annoyance. The rest of the staff are nice. Organic selection a plus. No ice or cold drinks offered in the shop which is odd.

I like the Vegetarian Halloumi falafel and Chai Latte. Pret has great yogurt dish optios too

It's a Pret so you pretty much know what you're getting! It's ALWAYS hugely busy during term time as it's in the student part of town and they sadly have an area roped off where a window has been smashed - but that was at least six months ago now... Staff are friendly, but I didn't realise they don't do iced coffee!! Disappointment

Quite a busy spot since it's near the university, but quick and friendly service by the team. However, they do not have any iced drinks or milkshakes, so options are limited compared to other branches.

For a “hot” toastie, it was pretty cold

the coconut latte was fine but the oat latte was almost empty when we received the order, and it was spilled all over the front step. Driver did not wait for me to open the door just left the bag on step and drove off. I will be applying for a refund for this order.

A bit disappointing that this branch doesn’t have Milkshakes and Berry Blast. If you want a fruit smoothie, you have to go before noon or else the chances are it’ll be sold out

They open 5/10 late every day so don't try and Jack a quick one right at opening, also they were bombarded with delivery tickets,, so don't expect great service,, coff was just drinking temp and tasted like it had been standing for a minute so guess they per por some drinks,,, so all in all I'm sure its a nice store during the day however first thing in the morning,, I'd give a sweve,, go to one of the independents round on St Michaels coz this pret was poor at best, 1 out of 45 rasta badges,,, weak sauce,,, I've got a sub to pret too so not like its my first disco!!

One item was unavailable so restaurant rang me to ask if I would like a replacement instead of just cancelling.

Asked for a popcorn bar hot chocolate. When it arrived without cream I asked why it didnt have it as shown in photo. Staff member snatched it away despite my asking her not to. She threw it down the sink and begrudgingly made another. No need for that. Disgusting staff attitude!

At the moment too many ignorant Bristol University students with no masks. Otherwise fine.

This pret was very nicely laid out, comfortable to sit in and the staff were very knowledgeable on the subscription service. On finding the drink I wanted was not available they offered me alternatives and helped me disover they were included in the subscription - awesome

Not good, verry over priced and not verry pleasent Our smoothies were pretty bad and came in a coffee cup which basically disintegrated whilst drinking I won't be going to a pret again I'll stick to the alternatives

Lovely and clean, very friendly staff, after the diester of a coffee shop down the road this was a breath of fresh air, excellent coffee.

Usually the staff here are very patient, kind and helpful for me. However, today there was a Manager working who was very rude and abrupt to myself and a few other customers and staff :(

The food came very early, and as soon as I checked it I realized why. The food had not a single piece of our order, even tho the receipt says it has it all written. All we received was a salad of some sort, a salad we never ordered

I'm not sure how people have had a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly, the coffee is tasty, and the food is delicious! The manager has been especially helpful in talking through what I can and can't have, as I have a milk allergy. Perhaps people need to be a little kinder and more considerate, especially given how stressful it is working in such an environment in the midst of a global pandemic.

Me encantaba ir aquí, pero desde que han vuelto a abrir, es como estar en una cinta transportadora. El gerente es gritón e impaciente; y sientes que quieren que te vayas en el momento en que te entregan la taza. También rechazan los vasos reutilizables y solo sirven vasos desechables, mientras que en un lugar pequeño al final de la calle se usan vasos compostables por el mismo precio. Mi dinero está en el pequeño.

We are regular visitors of Pret so we couldn’t help but notice the drinks at this particular store were completely different to others: watery and tasteless. My Mocha was so disgusting I couldn’t finish it so I walked 20 minutes to the next Pret and ordered the same drink which was, as usual, delicious. Not sure where this Pret on Queen’s Road are going so wrong... perhaps the instant coffee machine? My friend ordered a decaf drink which came from the same machine and was definitely not decaffeinated. Overall unimpressive. Go to a different branch.

Always nice fresh tasty food, the Thai red soup is awesome, tasty and full of goodness, definitely recommend it.

Damaged food and drink order entirely incorrect. Arrived with the lid not properly secured so half the (incorrect) drink spilt over everything. Avoid.

Very dry, not the usual standard of food, maybe being later on in day, usually fresh and tasty, today dry and boring ( macaroni) fruit salad always lovely, think the food had been hanging around in a heater for a while.

Decent food but couldn't eat it with the terrible wooden cutlery. If I'm paying to eat in I expect cutlery that is usable.

I’m obsessed with Pret. Service is fast and friendly, food is top quality and there’s lots of variety, and consistently tastes SO GOOD and fresh! Reasonably priced for the quality of it I think. Love that they have a filtered water tap here too!

Steer clear unless you want to me made to feel bad for asking for a sandwich. Considering its a quite store even on lunch this is out of character compared to the other Bristol Pret store's, where the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Costs extra to eat in. The tables are filthy. The food comes exactly the same as take away. They give you plastic cutlery. The coffee machines aren't proper Italian style ones. They're automatic. And taste burnt. ... Really??! What exactly am I paying extra for? There's no service or benefit to eating in. It would be cleaner eating on the streets

I feel cheated. You'd think a "Cranberry and Raspberry" drink would be made predominantly from cranberries and raspberries, but oh no, 1% cranberry and 1% raspberry (from concentrate). The rest is rubbish I've never even heard of, like water, red grape and apple juice (from concentrate). I will be writing to the Advertising Standards Agency saying this drink should be called "Apple, water and Grape" "(from concentrate)" The building itself is like an echo chamber, where all it takes is for one person to have an annoying laugh and the ambience is ruined for everyone. The chairs are far too big and attempting to move around when it is busy is like trying to get out of an escape room.

The sandwiches and baguettes are always fresh and taste good. The cookies are a bit bland though? Not entirely sure why as they are baked the same day. It is fairly expensive

Me gusta Pret porque atienden bastante bien a los veganos cuando se trata de sándwiches y comidas en caja. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión solo quería un café y algo dulce. Sé por otra tienda que venden un "bocado" vegano de chocolate, pero no en esta sucursal. Sorprendido ya que es un lugar popular entre los estudiantes, algunos de los cuales probablemente sean veganos.

Upon purchasing a packet of smoked chipotle crisps I was disgusted to find they were 2.99, absolute rip off and the packet was only half full. Never going here again

I often pop in for my morning coffee and breakfast bite to eat. It’s a nice bright and spacious restaurant and the staff are always smiling and friendly. Coffee is always just right and I love they way they remember your order ..... well do mine :0) Defiantly recommend !!
