So far, the rudest pret in the world

Beware when ordering We had a nightmare ordering Pret for our event. It was our son's 4th birthday; I placed an order 3 days prior for some sandwich platters and kids' sandwiches. When my husband showed up to collect them today, the staff had no record of the order. As a result, we had 19 hungry pre-schoolers waiting for lunch and a father that missed nearly all of his child's first proper birthday party trying to sort this out. We got the sandwiches in the end, but one hour late (out of a two-hour party). It was an absolute shambles. To be fair to the staff on the ground, they tried their best to fulfill the order by being resourceful with what they had. But they shouldn't have been put into that position with a shoddy back end system. Extremely disappointed with Pret. Be very wary if you're ordering for an event.

The person in the front Indian, very rude. I came today 31/12/2023 12:40 pm. They didn't have the rice milk for matcha latte and the only option was whole milk, the drink was horrible so kindly I asked if I could change with something I like and the response very very rude. At least speak better on customers. Also too much matcha added in, disgusting.

Yet again another Pret with half the tables full of Laptop users. No seats for real customers

Can't really go wrong with a Pret.. and that's why we headed here.. but not as good a choice as most . But probably just a timing thing. Plenty of seats ..

This dark skin lady doesn’t smile, say please/ sorry/ Thank you … nothing!!! On the top of that I asked for Berry bliss without Ice but she said she can’t do it without ice!!! I needed to say yes for the ice or No drink !!! Her colleagues in the same branch of Jubilee place and other branches Cabot square/ Canada Square … give me what I want with lot of smiles on the top !

Staff are incredibly miserable at this place, they don’t smile, say please or thank you. Super short with customers and argue loudly with customers.

you buy a coffee and ask for a small bag, a free bag, and one of the ladies refuses to give you one just because she doesn’t feel like giving one. you ask again nicely with no luck still! ridiculous! they give those paper bags away like there’s no tomorrow, but still, she won’t give me one because that’s what she feels like on the day..

Love PAM food most of the time, but today’s chicken, broccoli and rice soup had none of the above. Just broth, onions and carrots. Very disappointing.

Shohel has been very rude, I asked for an americano with cream, he said none of the Pret's do that anymore and told me it isn't on the menu anymore. I said, it is on the menu and took a picture, organic cream with 60p change. Than I was thinking what to get instead, he took other customers while I was still at the till. He also told my daughter not to touch on the flapjacks while she was trying to pick one. He lied and said she broke one and I checked and showed other customers nothing was broken. He should definitely not serve to anyone. I am very disappointed with Pret and what kind of people they hire. So rude, I actually told him that he is very rude, ridiculous.

Recently came into this pret at peak time in the morning, had impeccable customer service by a very polite member of staff who I believe was called Andreas. Thank you.

Love a Pret! Busy and buzzy at lunchtime but they were keeping up well with the queues of people wanting to pay and go. Good range with lots of tasty options throughout the day and they are usually ace at re-stocking shelves when it is busy. Plenty of places to sit and nearly all occupied but we found a couple of stools to perch on and eat.

Quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Busier in the week. I got the Scottish smoked salmon sandwich. Nice and simple with butter. Loved it. Staff were pleasant.

Wait times are ridiculous. Waited 10 mins for an americano and it was barely warm. Not sure I want to pay £2.70 for this.

Terrible customer service. Staff all look aggrieved to be there and as if they’re doing you a favour by giving you a coffee you’ve paid for. Unfocused and understaffed. They pass you hot drinks without a sleeve - heaven forbid you should ask for one. It is unceremoniously dumped on the counter for you to retrieve yourself. Pret need to take a good hard look at the service standards at this store - they are significantly before par.

Rude staff, messy store. Not coming back for sure - I waited 5mins+ for a coffee and went to tell the lady she said “I don’t memorise faces so it’s your fault”… even thought I was waiting for the coffee in front of her. This might be silly but, does she knows what her job it’s about?

My daily coffee and lunch! Although it can be really busy at times, the staff manage it really well and the service is quick. The salads are absolutely amazing! Especially the shawarma pot and the hummus pot

Matcha doesn't dissolve easily, that's why most cafes blend it, the way this place made it: Stir it all in cold milk then add ice. It's like sipping matcha powder suspended in milk... Worst matcha latte ever!! I get it it's a coffee place, just coffee...

tight crew serving here, however the hours listed online are wrong closing time is 19 not 17 as listed on sundays and 21 on weekdays

I went to here couple of weeks ago and order a cup of mocha coffee, she think I said is matcha, I repeated what I want is mocha, she is a little unhappy, and another employee service me this morning, and I ordered mocha again , she suddenly blunt come over to ask I like mocha or maccha, mocha I say, she is very abandon said some people just don’t understand the difference about Mocha and matcha, excuse me ? Are you talking about me? I drink mocha every day, I think my pronunciation is clearly and everyone can understand. lady. if you don't hear clearly, it is not your problem, but you are disgusted to say that someone can't speak clearly, it is your problem. I will still go there and buy mocha, and if she still serves me, I will probably tell her loudly that I want mocha not matcha, I don’t want being rude, I'm afraid she won't understand😊

the staff in every pret i goto are amazing on customer service. especially since the new £20 offer started and there now making at least 100+ drinks more per hour. I feel for these guys as customers are often rude and impatient not realising the staff are working so hard and continuessly making 100s of drinks all day - human error will happen, i could probably manage 30min myself under that pressure and people being rude at the same time.there just isn't enough staff. Pret have reduced hours in different branches to move staff I've noticed.

This is the worst coffee shop in London. Disorganised staff have no sense of queue and serve the coffee to whoever is near. I waited probably about 15 minutes today until I lost it and left empty handed. Absolutely dreadful place. The second another coffee shop makes a subscription plan I'm switching. Or I'll just cancel it - it's not worth it. Edit: I cancelled my subscription.

Definetly the worst pret I have ever been. This location is quite frequently out of ice! And that's in the morning it's 10 am now. They provide the worst service make yourself a favor don't waste your time here

Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating.

Decent enough pret ruined by the infuriating inability of the staff to understand customer orders. This is caused by a) inability to understand English, b) complications caused by mask-wearing during the pandemic and c) ridiculously loud music blaring out all the time. Frustrating experience.

My experience here has been very positive thanks to Emanuela. Efficient, kind, helpful and keeping filter coffee till store closure. (Unlike other stores/employees)She works hard and it shows. Hopefully the company keeps track of its best employees who make a difference for the customers Thanks Emanuela

I get my morning coffee here every day The staff are always so friendly and helpful. and on the odd occasion they forget to use oat milk and not regular milk they are very apologetic and generaly nice. Thank you pret team

Vengo aquí cuando no tengo tiempo para nada más. Es raro, pero sabes qué esperar. Los sándwiches están bien: excepto el sándwich italiano con mayonesa, ¡terrible! La peor parte es el café. . . El capuchino es asqueroso. Es lo mismo que obtienes de una máquina automatizada barata que encuentras en tu médico. Por lo general, evito, pero en emergencias está bien.

Insalate molto buone e tramezzini anche. Dolci buonissimi.

Great Pret A Manger with the usual good quality sandwiches and drinks. Nicely arranged and quite well stocked with friendly staff. Good for a quick bite that tastes nice and also gives you a good selection of foods, snacks and drinks.

Very well laid out and shelves and full up with food . Plenty of seating as well. Friendly and quick service even though very busy . Good food and good service :)

The staff is really nice, the options are ok (more variety would be great), but there's not a lot of seating available, especially on busy weekdays and around lunchtime).

Good service,of the chains it has almost what I want at a sensible price. Love the 99p filter coffee!

My go to place for lunch at least 2 to 3 times a week. Favourite option is Posh Cheddar Ploughman and Thai Chicken soup. Food is always super fresh and hardly anyway to pay. Whole transaction of picking up your food, pay, take cutlery and tissues and leave does not take more than 5 minutes. The season festive mood and menu is amazing too. A few more healthy Asian options will be like a cherry on top.

Gran lugar para tomar un bocado saludable para comer. Yo podía comer sus bocadillos para el desayuno, almuerzo, o cena. Son siempre coherentes y saben cómo hacer un delicioso sándwich ubicada.

Used to go to Pret 1 Canada Square where the staff and service were fantastic. This Pret has a problem. I suspect it is the management are either not managing or don't know how to motivate staff

Staff are always friendly. Cracking chocolate croissants across the chain. The only problem is that croissants are hard towards the end of the day.

Adoro tutti i Pret a manger, cibo sempre rigorosamente fresco un grande impegno anche dal punto di visto morale ed ecologico, il cibo avanzato del giorno viene consegnato a delle associazioni caritatevoli quindi non si butta e il tramezziono o l'insalata sono sempre freschi. Eccellenti le insalate ottimo il rapporto qualita' prezzo. Perfetto da portare via ma anche da consumare in loco.

Good quality French pastries that don't break the bank. Decent wallet friendly coffee. The hoi sin duck wraps are lovely.

Nice place to sit and have lunch. Can get noisy however, and prices are quite high. Wait times can be very long at peak hours.

Кафе очень много по всему городу, но одно из любимых - на углу Трафальгарской площади. Оно маленькое, но если повезет занять место за стойкой с видом на площадь, то огромное удовольствие в холодный декабрьский день смотреть сквозь стекло на проезжающие мимо двухэтажные красные автобусы, на залезающих на спины львов детей, прихлебывая горячий кофе и откусывая теллый и ароматный круассан. Пишу, а у самой слюнки текут)))

Usually healthy food doesn't go well with the taste. But Pret is certainly an exception. Avacado wrap is brilliantly made.

The food, especially the salads, soups, smoothies and juices are absolutely fantastic. -But they are a bit pricey too.. But maybe thats just the price you pay for getting food that fresh - everything that is not sold the same day as its made is thrown out.

I visited Pret A Manger for a quick coffee this week and found the coffee to be slight bitter. Its not what I expected from Pret. I will raise it with them next time as there usually consistent. overally the staff are friendly and thats why I give the place three stars.

Quando vai a Londra invece di mangiare le solite schifezze mc donald . Chicken n chicken è così via . Questa è una alternativa fantastica il cibo è fresco e anche salutare il servizio è velocissimo e i locali sempre pulitissimi . Unica pecca i prezzi e non solo perché siamo a Londra è propio il locale a essere . Che sia a Londra o a Parigi se vuoi mangiare la devi sborsare un pochino di più rispetto ad altri posti . Ma ne vale assolutamente la pena

Wannimmer ich eine Chance dazu habe esse ich Sandwiches von Pret. Sie haben meistens spannende Kombinationen, die einfach super schmecken, stets frisch und lecker. Die Läden selbst sind hingegen nicht mein Fall, laut, stickig, es riecht nach Kaffee und Teilchen. Da setze ich mich lieber in den Park.

I love the quality of the food, the fresh ingredients and the healthy options. Great for a fast healthy lunch or snack.

Like most of Canary Wharf this is underground on the way to one of the entrances to the tube. Good solid quality fayre, open early to late.
