Pret a Manger in Dartford

Pret is one of our favourite coffee shops. The Bluewater Pret is small than most but service is quick and friendly. What makes this Pret stand out is the staff. They don’t stand around at all .Tables are constantly tidied and cleaned and it’s just a pleasure to visit.

Souper Green soup was shown on posters inside the shop, and on various leaflets etc, but when we asked it was not available. Staff had a poor attitude and seemed disinterested. Coffee was quite bitter and not up to the usual standard in our regular Pret in Canary Wharf.

Need to train baristers All types of coffees ordered end up as lattes!!!! Barrister unable to make cappuccino or flat white.

We came out of John Lewis and saw Pret a Manger close by - very busy it was lunch time. I just wanted a takeaway coffee for journey home. Two young ladies were both talking no notice of the queque . I asked for a black Americano and handed over £20 note. She did not raise her eyes to acknoweldge me in any form just put my change on counter. I just wanted to get outside as soon as possible as a lot people bumping into each other . I looked at my change and was short by £10.00. I went back inside and questioned her and got no response, she called over a Supervisor who open the till and handed me £5.00. I then told this Supervisor "this is still not right" , he answered "yes it is" so I laid out all the money on the counter and requested that he recheck, which he did and in a matter of fact way said sorry you are right should be three £5.00 notes and lose change. The entire attitude was appaling.
