If I could give it a 0 I would. Food tasted awful. Greasy spring rolls Rice and noodles dry and rubbery Chicken gristle and rock hard

Ordered a special fried rice. It was too salty. Waste of my £7.70!! Shame that the Kebab shop didn't have burgers as that was where I went first!!

Waited over an hour, rice was dry and bland. ‘Satay chicken’ was some watery boiled chicken in some bland gross sauce. Won’t be using again. Go to Pagoda miles better and cheaper!

I've ordered from here twice. Food always arrives hot and amazing. Tastes great.

I would have given five stars because the food was excellent apart from the chilli used was harsh and way to hot and ruined my Singapore noodles. next time we order we will ask to leave the chilli out because the salt n pepper chicken and sweet n sour chicken was superb

Really disappointed tonight. Have always ordered from Golden Palace. Tonight food was cold on arrival . Pancake rolls and chicken balls soggy. Chow men wasn’t even near warm, cold at bottom of container. Either food was sat in restaurant to get cold or driver who delivered took a detour. Not very happy!

we used to order here all the time but recently a younger man has been taking orders and is genuinely so miserable and rude. our food has been taking double the time it usually does to arrive. i called to check where our food was and as he picked up he said “it’s on its way”, not even saying hello or letting me speak. from the tone of his voice he’d be better of working in a morgue…

Picked up my order and checked the order with the guy as he handed it over but still got home to the wrong order. Food itself is mediocre.

My family usually order from here but our last order either wasn’t cooked probably or left out in the heat too long as a family member is now suffering with food poisoning after eating her meal. She said her food tasted funny and is now poorly. Never ordering from here again.

Ordered for delivery, after 2 hours no communication...finally got through on the phone after over 400 calls and got told that my order was stuck in the machine ! Disgusting service DO NOT ORDER!!

We have had some really good take always from Golden Palace but we noticed a fall in quality/taste around 18 months ago. Against my better judgement we opted to give it another go and we couldn’t be more disappointed. The flood was so bland, lacking flavour, spice and seasoning. We picked it up it so it can’t be blamed on riding around in a car for an hour. Really disappointing how far this place has fallen.

The worst customer service ever!!! Ever since the young man has been taking the orders ,you have to wait over 2 hours and then they get something wrong. The lady who used to take the orders was very polite, efficient and you got your order within half an hour. This guy needs to go as he is destroying the reputation of this business!!! This happens every single time he takes the orders. It’s time for me to take my custom elsewhere and give my money to someone who deserves it.

Rude, inept, disgustingly incompetent and unbelievably lazy. Spent £100 on food, waited 2 hours for it. 2 portions of chips missing, phoned to get delivered and was told we would have to wait another hour because they were prioritising other orders. Only gave a 1 star because I couldn’t give less. Stay away at all costs

Bland food- if you are a vegetarian then you should be ok as meat was scarce in the dishes I ordered.

Was a very good quality restaurant takeaway in the past I think new chief or new management or cost cutting making this very poor food indeed I spoke to the manager a week or so ago about the quality in food decline and they responded nothings changed it’s terrible quality now. Won’t be ordering again 😉

Food was ok and prices average Went in to order at 10.10 and said I would be back in half hour to collect it - apparently not as they said they were shut at 10.30 then changed that to 10.00 which was strange as the website said it was open to 11.30 Not very helpful staff

Ordered a meal for delivery thought it would be about an hour very surprised to find it arrived within half the time & was delish very pleased.

Just pre ordered from Dragon palace. It turned up early. 20 minutes from their opening time. The food was fantastic! The sauce that came with the ribs 👌. Only ordered from here a handful of times over the last year and the food seems to get better every time.

2 & a half hours and the order never arrived. Restaurant phone constantly engaged (left off the hook no doubt). Just Eat were no help as no humans available so still awaiting a refund. AVOID

Please cancel my order over an hour late and I can’t get through to you on the phone for you even to explain what is going on for the last half an hour, when your driver arrives I will be refusing. Poor communication is key to getting bad reviews, have the courtesy to answer your phone and just explain if you are busy. Local people want to support local businesses but if you can’t support your customers I don’t know what you would expect.!

great takeaway, chip shop next door is not open. Golden Palace delivers to home but we were driving past so decided to order. chicken chow mein, king prawn and mixed veg foo yung. still more than half left over for another night. yum.

If I could give no stars, I would. Staff on the phone obnoxious and rude. My wife and I used to order from the Golden Palace regularly until she died in March. I tried to order a meal for one this evening. The minimum spend is £8 and my order came to £9.40. The guy on the phone asked for my phone number, and then he read off my address which was on their system, he then asked for my phone number again!. Eventually, after repeating my phone number several times and confirming my address several times, I asked to pay by card. I was told that I had to spend over £10 to make a card payment so had no alternative but to cancel my order. Surely with the pandemic and government advice to pay for all goods by card, they would accept card payments for any amount. Surely their delivery person accepting cash, handling food orders, and possibly giving change is a COVID-19 health risk!. Unfortunately, their terrible attitude towards this customer and disregard for hygiene and safety means they have lost another customer.

Ordered via just eat to have delivered at 7.30 received confirmation for delivery 7.45 - driver got lost but tried to deliver at 6.30 - food never arrived even early - rang restaurant says no problem driver take food back they would redo order for correct time - rang at 8pm said we had refused food earlier (it never arrived) and they were cancelling order and not delivering at all - refused to cancel order so just eat would only refund half - ???? Had to formally complain to get full refund - restaurant staff were rude and very unhelpful

Always had a good meal and always delivers on time its a pity that its been closed during this difficult period , when is it open again?

Their food is genuine and tasty... Note that if you order in the restaurant (take away)... And want to pay by card... You have to spend more than £10 😲

Best Chinese I have ever had! Up in Dartford visiting family, we decided to have Chinese last night and it was amazing, food was hot, rice was fluffy and the chicken balls were amazing

This is one of the best Chinese takeaways in Dartford. I've been ordering 3-4 times a year for the past 7 years. The food is always good, full of flavour, and superfast delivery too. I've tried most of their dishes there was only one that I didn't like, but that was due to the dish not being to my taste, not the quality of the dish. Mmm, I'm hungry now.

Ordered dinner from here last night, have been throwing up constantly since.. can't say it's anything else as hadn't eaten anything else... food didn't actually taste too bad but can confirm I won't be back here... I didn't order food poisoning make sure you don't either.

Had a really bad experience a while ago and vowed never to do it again...Gave them another chance....Absolutely awful. The pancake rolls tasted of burnt dish water. The prawn balls tasted of something that don't resemble prawn. You should be ashamed of yourselves and I'm surprised you get any custom at all. Never again !!!

Ordered one thing and got home and realised it was another.. The food isn't great and would be kind if I gave it a 3 out of 10 ... Normally go Peking Garden but gave the golden palace a try 😣😣.. Wish I'd stuck with the usual ... Pay 4 what u get

This is one of my favourite Chinese takeaway at the moment... Food is nice and service isn't too bad.

Never ordering from here again, ordered food told 45mins over an hour later I call them he sais he would call me back to let me know where driver is never called back so call them again to be out on hold i could hear him taking a order on the other phone!!! He argued that he told me 45mins!! Food turns up duck was horrible to crispy to eat!! Chicken balls over cooked i wouldn't bother dont waste your money

Have placed an order tonite at 6.11pm. Rang at 7.45pm to be told driver broken down give him 15min. Rang again at 8.05 to be told they cant get hold of drivers to see who has our food so they will cook our order from scratch and deliver straight away. What a load of bull. Give them a wide berth. I don't think we have ever had it on time or without a mistake but allways gave them the benefit of the doubt but no more. Clearly customer service is a dirty word to them.

Order from here with my best friend ALOT. Has drastically gone down hill. The person who answered the phone couldn't understand basic orders... (salt and pepper chicken) Had to repeat our order at least 6 times. I'm posting this now at 20:00 and my order was made and 18:18. I went to collect my order 20 mins later and got home to find a salt and pepper chicken missing. Even though the order was read back to me on collection. We called the place and they were at one point trying to say that they never had an order from us at all. He said he couldn't find our receipt. Said he would call back in a few mins, 15 mins later we still had no phonecall so called them back and were told we were keeping there line busy. Obviously too worried about missing an order but we had already paid for ours and it was given to us incorrectly. It took us a long battle to get the missing item delivered to us with no apology. Still waiting for the item now. The whole process has been awful and I'm really disapointed. Teach your members of staff your menu before you allow them to take orders and make sure that the whole order is made / put in the bag. .... update: they just arrived.. time now 20:09. Nearly two hours it's NOT acceptable! Don't use this place!

One of the WORSE Meal I've had the misfortune to order. Delivery took a while and when it arrived it was meant to be Sezchaun chicken, but was full of cheap ingredients mostly boiled flavourless onions. Was so unhappy got in car and took it back, had to have an argument to get money back. This is against Trading Standards, same old stuff whatever you order just a bit of sauce or the odd ingredient added. SAVE YOUR MONEY AS A RIP OFF.

I have been going there for several years on occasion - it has to be the least friendly, least personal service I have ever had. The man in the baseball cap in his 20's/30's never smiles, never even says hello sometimes, just grunts and taps out your order on the keyboard. The lady is lovely who is there on occasion and should be there all the time but the man shouldn't be anywhere near a front desk in any capacity. The food, well it's very hit and miss. The rice is always dry, and has the least amount of ingredients for things like Egg Fried or Special, it has very little flavour and every portion is in the small, box-like container. Most other dishes, like Squid/Prawns etc are small portions in small containers - the seafood isn't bad, but it is a real gamble knowing what will be any good, massively trial and error. Overall, there just seems to be an overall lack of effort, disappointing..

Food was horrible. Chicken was full of gristle and bone and really tasteless. Won't be going back
