Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

The sandwiches were good as per usual. I wouldn't recommend the macha latte - very watery and bland. A lot of the seating was blocked off, even during the lunch hour, so getting a seat (especially with a plug socket) was not easy. The toilet was not great. Only one was working and the lock was busted on it. Nothing to rave about.

Good place to grab a coffee and a quick bite.

It's a lovely café in a great location with plenty of seating. It's clean, and even when it's busy, you can still grab your coffee quickly.

Popped into this Pret today for a coffee and sandwich to go and was served by someone called Andrea who was really rude for some unknown reason. Totally bizarre and uncalled for. Wouldn’t go back there.

Love this place, come here every morning to the point where my order is memorised. Staff are super friendly especially Andreea, who I speak to everyday.

Nice ambient and amazing happy staff

I’ve been attending this Pret for nearly a year now. The atmosphere, quality of hot and cold beverages and friendliness of staff deserves a 5 star. Andreea in particular makes the best coffee, focused and fast.

I’ve been a regular customer of this Pret A Manger for a while, and I’ve always been impressed with the quality. Firstly, the staff here are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. Even when it’s very busy, the staff are always doing the best! The availability of sandwiches and everything here is great. Nothing beats the Posh Cheddar and Pickle Baguette! The store was very clean and organised, with plenty of seating options available. I would highly recommend this Pret A Manger to you.

Visited this pret a few times as I work nearby and every time the service is awful. The staff look at you like you are poo on their shoe, horrible attitude, mistakes on orders with no apology when raised, never received a smile. The staff can see you standing waiting to order and will purposely ignore you and leave you waiting until they feel like it even when it’s not busy and they are not completing a task. The food is good but the staff completely ruin it.

Came to London for a conference, and this was my go-to place for breakfast every morning. Great coffee and awesome atmosphere. The manager and staff were very friendly and professional.

Staff are very efficient, knowledgeable and fast and excellent service.. Laura and Andrea are always welcoming as well as other staff. Its a pleasure to go to a friendly place for a break!

Laura and Shukla was very kindly served. It was nice to communicate. The institution is clean and tidy. A good atmosphere to spend time with a cup of coffee.

They overcharged us and to be honest I think they do it deliberately. I did question whether it could really cost us £12.55 for one rocket and crayfish sandwich, one cheese and ham sandwich and one bottle of water but when you’re standing at the till with other people waiting and you’re late for the theatre you let it pass. On the way out I checked the prices again and it should have been under £11. Still expensive but not robbery!

I come to this specific Pret every day I’m in the office and have done for close to a year now. The staff are always incredibly professional and go above and beyond to be kind and often serve you with a smile. As someone who has worked in similar environments - it is an incredibly hard job - especially interacting with the public to the degree they have to. I would also like to specifically mention Joy, she is so incredibly sweet and is always a highlight of my morning. Truly all members of staff in this Pret (management included) are fantastic and I hope they are aware of just how genuinely amazing at their jobs they are.

Always have empty shelves midday.

Tolle Kette über ganz London verteilt. Man kann kleinere Salate oder bereits belegte Brötchen kaufen. Dazu gibt es Heiß- oder Kaltgetränke.

Easily one of the most poorly run prets in London. Drinks take an absolute age to make, often wrong and you get attitude for raising this. Serving staff also curt, especially the manager. Avoid if possible

Waiting time is terrible....manager is walking around with his phone e instead of helping...terrible

Very often they are out of breakfast items or even filter coffee, you are much better off going to the Pret Artillery Row / Victoria Street (3 mins away).

Nice downstairs area with nautral skylight

I'm pretty shocked how badly this has gone downhill. The staff look sullen and not eager to do a good service. It's not at all what you expect when visiting this chain. The toasties just seem to be thrown back in the bags and the contents just spray out the sides. These toasties are expensive and half the filling doesn't make it to the sandwich.

They will shut the downstairs even after you've just bought a drink to consume on the premises - there is negligible seating upstairs - and no apology or prior explanation will be forthcoming. Personally, I call that sloppy service.

Shocking service. Staff member told me the toilets were downstairs but didn’t bother telling me there was a code so had to go straight back up. Then when I opened my hot chocolate it was only half full so had to go back for a refill. Will never ever go back here despite working across the road.

one staff who is wearing black glasses is so rude. i understand many people are staying in the queue but He just said oh sorry not said but shouted two words "coffee for you??" to customers including me. i came this branch first time here today and also this is my last visit as well. experienced so bad customer service ..

No hello, good afternoon, watching the food display instead of listening my order for 2 chocolate croissants and after shouting with me I should press the red button so he can recharge me for payment. No apology no sorry. Learn to say sorry and never shout with your customers. Really unprofessional.

The staff are fairly friendly but the shelves are often missing items.There was a sign telling customers to tell the staff if an item had run out.When I did so very politely the member of staff replied that if an item wasn't there it would not be restocked.I was a little surprised as it wasn't even 1pm.

Extra seating downstairs. Food okay with good veggie and vegan choices.

Why does the shop open with empty shelves?

Near to St James Park Tube station, but in a side street, so it's fairly quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good, though a bit expensive. The coffee is always good too. There is a lot more seating downstairs and it would be a good place for meetings or a large group of people.

This Pret is nice, with lots of seating in the basement! As usual friendly staff and fast serving. Typical selection of food and drinks. Good place to have a lunch, or a business meeting over a coffee.

Standard Pretty, reasonable fare, reasonable price.

Food is standard Pret Fare. However, from a service point of view they need to up their game. The staff in there are all really friendly... To each other!! This ends up that they will be having a bit of banter or chat between themselves instead of serving customers. Too many times now I've been in there and they are more interested in chatting and laughing than serving

Great place for reliable sandwiches

Visited here for a works team meeting. A few coffees and a chat for half an hour. I had a black coffee but was not too impressed, seemed bitter rather than strong. I like strong coffee. Did not have food. Plenty of room in downstairs seating. Atmosphere was quiet. Visited mid morning. Will have to try again to see if coffee was a one off.

This is one of the few places in this area where you'll easily get a seat at lunchtime. Usual Pret range. Quick service and friendly counter staff.

Very spacious, has downstairs space, skylight from little glass blocks in the pavement which lets in quite a lot of sunlight. Top part only has a few seats but don't be deceived, there is lots downstairs. It's never too busy, always comfortable level of seating and the tables aren't uncomfortably close.

Love the ham and cheese sandwich here... Staff is very friendly and the ☕ tastes much better than Starbucks... They also have a turmeric tea which you will love.

There are probably 10 different branches of Pret within a 5 minute walk of my office on Victoria Street, but this one is by far my favourite. It never seems to be as busy as some of the other locations, particularly at lunchtime. The seating area downstairs is spacious and comfortable as well. If you're looking for a Pret then this one comes highly recommended.

Perfect for snake or quick breakfast

Very spacious seating areas in the light and airy basement. Staff are friendly. One gripe is service is pretty slow compared to its other stores nearby. If you have time this is the best pret in the area...if you in a rush use another one only 200 metres away.
