Pret a Manger in Hillingdon

Ordered Too Good To Go. Whent there, shop closed. Give me the money back. They need to specify that they can not give orders outside

Advice: if you go to Globe pub and kitchen which is town side at LHR terminal 5 you can get a nice flat white plus hot croissant, jam and butter for £4.95...and it's served at your table. Massive bargain compared to Pret. Pret's high prices at airports where you're cornered infuriate me

Almond croissant is flaky but mostly bland. Confusing service, coffee is handed out in a small corner and you need to remember the person who served you. Staff are generally very patient, big kudos to them. Airport prices (under GBP 7 for croissant & espresso) but decent discounts for ClubPret subscribers.

27/01/2024 I came to get my coffee prior to my flight and asked for a caramel mocha with oat milk. The guy then said we don’t have that, and continuously asked me to repeat what I wanted even though I said it clearly. It was quite disappointing

I “discovered” the Posh Cheddar and Pickle Baguette on this trip to London. That and the Hot Shots might now be one of my favourite things about London.

Slowest till operators in the local galaxy. I don't know the name of the guy wgo served me but he obviously doesn't enjoy his job. Miserable. Avoid this place

Worst service ever We ordered 6 chai latte and we were served room temperature chai latte. We asked them to make them hot and they said we dont heat it up again but they refused. Worst service 3-4 employees are fighting with us on this issue. Pathetic behaviour

The place is located in front of gate #3 the smell of the croissant call you ,the coffee and tea ,they have great salads ,juice and the service is fantastic ! Definitely a must . Highly recommend ! Thanks so much to the girls at the counter . They made my day ,with these special coffee !

Falafel wrap was great, fresh. Coffee and chocolate croissant also.

Awful humans, awful attitude. No sense of service or even basic decency.

Very busy. They didn’t have what I wanted but the lady at the till didn’t tell me that, she just decided to process my order without it and let me pay. I only saw it from the receipt and then asked and only then was I told. It’s expensive and not worth the money but what do you expect from a chain like Pret in an airport like Heathrow?

PRET MANGER - COMPLAINT - DREADFULLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE RECIEVED On the 16 November 2023 at 13:33, I purchased a latte and cappuccino from Pret Manger Heathrow terminal 5, shop number 218 unit 8 gate level terminal 5 Heathrow Airport. I was served by a young black man who told me his name was Wayne though this may not be true. references on my receipt are 44985 Timileyin A, WS#:7 CHK 154667. The person was incompetent and extremely rude. He initially refused to provide me with a receipt and aske my '' why do you need a receipt '' ?. It was only when I insisted that I wanted and as entitled a receipt of purchase and had to follow him around the serving area whereupon he tried to ignore me, did he eventually provide a receipt. I and my employees have been a customer at Pret for many years. If this is the standard of customer service then we wont be using Pret in the future. The person serving me fondled my pastry with his fingers and when I asked to change it to another that he hadn’t touched, he simply put the original one back on the hot shelf for someone else to pick. He then walked away and left me to be served by someone else who was too busy talking to other colleagues. Being in an airport proving rapid on the go service doesn’t excuse such terrible “customer service” and poor food safety etiquette! Truly disgraceful. I did not buy from here and wouldn’t recommend anyone else do so either.

Refused to provide tap water and asked me to go else where to fill it up and is not like I didn’t buy from them. They just want you not to bother going all the way to fill it up so you ese up buying one from them! It very environmentally friendly in my opinion.

My grandaughter and I were there for tea and coffee so busy and the staff amazing how they cope with those queues all day long is nothing short of brilliant the happy and pleasant manners are a joy. Our experience was great, we were served by a lovely, young lady named Renu who had a smile on her face the whole time. Very busy but the line moves fast and the service was friendly. Italian chicken salad, mango smoothie and muesli were delicious as usual.

Lady taking order literally stood sighing and rolled her eyes at me when I was looking for my wallet to get my credit card as I only had US dollars in my pocket from holoday. Complete lack of customer service and totally uncalled for.

Food was delicious, service was nice n fast. It was crowded so I guess it's a popular and a good place for food. Especially when you are traveling from the airport, it's a good place to grab a quick bite...

Your prices are very expensive, around 30% more than your normal shops, M&S are far cheaper than you, we were going to use you for lunch working here but not now ..

Definitely a meal that didn’t blow me away nor was it too bad (taste wise), but it certainly came overpriced, even in comparison to expected higher airport costs. Ordering a Korean Chicken Panini, a bag of Chorizo Crisps and a Cappuccino, I ended up paying £11.44. To me, a tad ridiculous. The staff were friendly enough and I did find a table, although it could have done with a quick wipe. It was busy however so I understand that it might have been attended to at some point. The queueing system, as manic as it looked, seemed to fall into an organised chaos which surprisingly worked. I don’t know how, but it did. As a makeshift evening meal goes, it just didn’t cut it for me overall - I needed something more substantial and therefore may not have moaned as much about the cost.

Hi , today at lunch time I left an important souvenir rapped in newspaper ( It is a rolled up painting) just in front of this pret and manger in the tables to charge the cell phones. Could you please check It out and let me know if you have It to figure out How can I get It back?

Visited at 7pm and it had full stock. Prices are not too bad. Queues were quite long.

If you’re going to charge me ~£6 for a sandwich jt better not be half soggy half stale

We are all familiar with Pret, and there's no need for me to write a review about it. However, I wanted to emphasize the exceptionally cheerful service I received here, which was quite different from my experiences in central London. The friendly staff made my visit all the more enjoyable, adding a special touch to the familiar setting.

It was extremely busy. They had areas for us to peruse then you had to go up to pay. It was a bit of chaos over there but people were patient and generous. I got the proper porridge. It wasn’t the porridge that I grew up with though. It was oatmeal. I added some honey and it was delicious. They also sell wine. They should be probably have a better process with the lines and who is taking orders vs who is making them and dropping them off. It would be more efficient.

Nice food and good quality, but prices have gone up which makes a simple lunch quite expensive. £4 for a small smoothie is not good value! Chocolate mousse was lovely and rich, but again an expensive price point so not anything we would be able to afford on a regular basis. Staff were generally friendly.

Good selection of nice and fresh food as well as snacks. It might get a bit crowded due to being in an airport terminal. Staff is quite friendly and assistive. Prices are absolutely fair.

The Pret at T5 by gates A2/A3 is always brill. Absolutely lovely, friendly staff.

Quite possibly the worst cappuccino I’ve ever had. The service was quick and polite despite the queue, but I’m not sure that makes up for the £3.25 cup of dirty water.

The best thing ever of this place are these heavenly Pastéis de nata or Portuguese Custard tarts. My layover at Heathrow was worth it because of these tarts and grabbed a lot more to take home.

Terminal 5, Heathrow Best meal I've ever had at an airport! The Caesar Chicken with bacon was devine! The baguette was crisp and fresh. Better still, the young man, Gideon, at the cashier was polite, friendly, patient and helpful. Also, I had a cup of filtered coffee which was terrific. After a tiring day of travel, this was a perfect respite! Terry B.

Terrible service this morning both servers were rude raising their voices at us because I gave them coins instead of using card. Additionally the lady server stated i gave her fake money. Very discriminatory service. I did not feel welcomed

Ordered and paid for my coffee and then was told if I am sure if I have ordered and wasn’t given my coffee!

I go to pret almost everyday and I have to say this morning was terrible. First of all, I ordered and I was waiting to pay because I scanned my description and the payment didn’t change so I told the guy 2 times and he kept telling me, you have to pay people are waiting behind you. So I paid told him again, I don’t think my description scan went through and then he told me he didn’t understood me and now it is too late because I already paid. A shame! In the plane I opened the pret bag and my order was wrong. I clearly told him I wanted a cherry croissant, he even repeated it and he gave a cookie. And I paid for a cherry croissant. I m very annoyed and disappointed. Worst pret experience ever.

Absolutely disgusting coffee. Served boiling hot with no flavour at all. Staff were rude. Avoid at all costs.

A go-to food shop but crowded like anything. The terminal is small and compact and this food hall is so small that you may struggle yo to get your food. sandwich start at £4-6 which is okay. Drinks, and other cold stuff is available. located just before the boarding gates so you can get your drinks before you board.

Their salmon sandwich is very tasty. Was here in October 2022 and just two days ago. Price is just reasonable.

We were through security and decided on a Coffee at Pret A Manger. Decent decision as it turned out. Service was very prompt with plenty of staff on hand to serve the throng of Travellers. Good and Polite as well and the Coffee was super smooth.

December 2nd 2022 after a long haul flight was craving coffee and scone, stood in line for over 10 minutes. ( I do understand how BUSY Heathrow is )Finally was handed stale, lukewarm brew by an unfriendly barista. Am a coffee lover thus know when my Java is not up to par. Shrugged it off.January 25th 2023. coffee was bitter & sludgy. Totally and utterly disappointed. Once is ok but twice is unforgivable. Not again for sure.

This has become a bit of a tradition for us. Sometimes it’s just a bit too early for a fry up. The porridge at Pret is hot, filling, tasty, somewhat healthy, good vfm and comes with either honey or a fruit compote. Easy breakfast option.

Incredibly badly run Pret. No efficiency. Staff don't seem to understand eachother and definitely didn't understand me. They had technical difficulties today which happens but it just descended into absolute chaos. I imagine it's quite a good earner purely due to the brand and captive market but one of the worst run chain coffee shop franchisees I've ever experienced.

Took my dried out and burnt at the end hot wrap back.Staff told me they would all be the same as they are in the heater!Refunded but had to buy a cold wrap. on departure so really wanted hot. Coffee mediocre.. Little choice in T5 but next visit will give Pret a miss and take my own food.

Pret make tasty sandwiches in lots of varieties. Their breakfast pots are excellent too. I've been told that the coffee is excellent, better than Starbucks and other chains, but I haven't tasted it. There is a lot of choice here and it's a good place to stock up before getting on the plane.

We were very impressed with a great selection of ready made sandwiches and other meals. The prices of the sandwiches were very reasonable. The coffee lattes we ordered were expensive and not a very generous serving. But it was fast and good.

Always get my tea or coffee at the Gate A3 Pret. I find it quieter and you can charge your phone. However this morning I was the first customer and my coffee was on the house! Nice people. Thank you

My friends and I all purchased the hot swedish meatball sub. Later that night we all got food poisoning - can‘t recommend.

Great customer service, but quite appalled by the food quality. In my smoked salmon I found a bone. I was quite put off and nauseated by this.

Went to Pret a Manger for coffee and drinks. Looks like it is very busy but with numerous lines in which to pay it went very quick. Only problem is the limited seating to sit down.

As a coeliac, I was hoping to get a sandwich, but no. If you’re vegetarian or vegan (lifestyle choice), loads of choice. If tou have coeliac disease, which is a serious illness, not a hope.

Wir aßen hier, als wir auf unseren Anschlussflug warteten. Die Schlange beim amerikanischen Kaffeeanbieter nebenan war 100 m lang. Man bekommt einen guten Kaffee und viele Snacks. Es geht schnell - die Angestellten sind nett. Das Croissant kann ich nicht empfehlen - pappig und fett.

I always get a sandwich or baguette from this Pret when flying out of T5 (a habit from the days when I worked at T5, and got many lunches there when working airside). They have a good selection, often introduce new items, and there are always some vegetarian options. The coffee is good, as are the smoothies, pastries and other breakfast options, although some things seem to be a bit expensive - but then, what isn't, in an airport food outlet. Even if it lookd busy, the queues move quickly, and staff are always friendly.

The best way to go in T5 after security. The pastries were fresh and if you purchase before 1000-1030 the lines are not very long.

Very quick service and lovely friendly staff...they took extra time to ensure my daughter got everything she wanted.

T5 past security has many options of restaurants or sit down meals but very few 'chains' like Pret if you want something light and quick. When the airport is busy like Easter weekend, everywhere is super busy! Has a good choice of sandwiches, salads, pastries, fruit, snacks and more! Open branch with hardly any seating. There is some standing area. Suggest taking out and finding somewhere else comfortable to sit or I was just getting a coffee for the plane. The black americano was fine, although Pret like everywhere else post-pandemic has put up prices. Despite the lines and chaos, lines moved reasonably quickly. Service was pleasant and my americano came quickly.

Typical Pret unit in airport setting. Expect long queues as punters want a tea or coffee before a flight out of England. If you are familiar with Pret, then look no further than the Pret at Heathrow Terminal 5. May I suggest, for the sake of light humour, that this Pret unit is dubbed or renamed as ‘Preathrow’.

The incompetence of the coffee staff is quite breathtaking. It was caos and super slow. They only gave me mine when i asked for a refund. Do yourself a favour don't go there

No crowd control, no social distancing enforced. You will be swarmed around by other customers while deciding what to buy and the staff will walk right on by.

Pretty convenient when you’re at Heathrow. An affordable option to get some rest with a drink.

Grabbed lovely looking salads and fruit for lunch on board only to find no cutlery or napkins in the lunch bags. Server did not pack them and didn’t bother to tell us where to get them ourselves either. We are new to this eatery. I guess experience is a good teacher. Breathe. Smile

Extremely poor service, avoid. Tricked into spending £5 for 'pret manger charity' (placement of contactless as if for payment), assumed it was the pay scanner. Will be seeking a refund for this immediately.When asked how many others had 'accidently' payed this £5 the response from the pret a manger colleague was 'A lot'.... I asked for this arrangement to be changed but no change, disgusting

The scanner at this pret did not read my Coffee subscriptions QR code and despite showing the staff that my subscription was paid for and active they awoke the impression that they thought I was lying and refused to serve me. Prets customer service later explained that it happens occasionally that scanners fail to read a QR code. I now have to believe pret simply hires anyone who can walk and talk….

Great food to take away. Prices gone up here. Or was the sizes have gone down? Still taste sanduíches.

Fast, friendly service. Full shelves and decent airport prices. There’s a seating area behind the counter. Staff were cleaning constantly. Can’t complain!

Ich liebe Pret und ich bin immer in irgendeinen Pret, wenn ich in London bin. Ähnlich wie bei wagamama in LHR gehe ich immer zum Pret hier im Flughafen, wenn ich kann, ein letztes Mal bevor ich von London fliege, fast wie ein Ritual.

The food was pretty good, but I mostly just came here because it was convenient and not too pricey. They have packaged cold and warm sandwiches and beverages for to-go if you are in a hurry. They have some other options including salads, baked goods, and hot beverages. They were very busy and crowded, but I managed to find a table to stand and eat at, but the tables are not cleaned very often.

Great selection of healthy food and drinks. Would love to find more keto friendly foods.
