Never have pret shakes..place a joke

Toilet here is closed and the staff say all the time " is blocked " Most of the times here are unprofessional people who serve. I asked them for toilet as I'm pregnant but one of them left me talking with my self and she's gonne doing her things. This happens today at 20/03/24. I'm very unhappy with the staff as they are disrespectful and soooo rude . All 3 ladies who was working today around 14:00 they was looking at a pregnant women in a bad way. And for no reason they call the security to scare me, but he was a kind men who understood me when I explained to him what was the problem , why I asked them for the toilet they go crazy.

Just visited this shop and asked for a warm cappuccino. Received it really really hot and kindly asked to have some cold milk added. The Lady who served me called Nursel was really impolite and didn't even speak decent English. All the serving process was a real mess, she struggled with everything. Definitely good to clean the bathroom but 1million percent nono customer service. If prets wants to close this branch he has the right workers!

After tough fay, I just wanted a peppermint tea, and I was only tea ordered person( because on the screens all orders available to see) when I go to my table realised this is early grey. When I told them instead of their apologise Nicoleta, she informed if not peppermint tea I shouldn't take. informed how would I know before open, and her approach was that is my mistake! Informed her only the tea was my order before my order and after(peppermint tea). No need bully approach. Batista guy he said OK OK I will do peppermint tea. Also this branch has black small fruit/bin fly and all of them on cakes, cookies etc. Will not visit again.

The lady who at The till was so rude she didn’t even look on my face as taking order so rude and careless service

Pretty a manger is one of my favourite cafes but the only thing I could comment on, is the prices...they are very high, they should be lowered a little. The food is ok but Overpriced.

The disabled/ baby change facilities were out of order. And instead of being helpful as have new born twins who require changing, the staff we rude and advised me to treck all the way to the cinema. I asked to speak to the manager as we only needed to change the babies, are the manage was trying to ignore me and hid, very professional? I hope no one else has to be in the same situation and is treated so poorly, let alone by a manager.

This place has changed a lot since it first opened, unfortunately, for the worse. The staff is not particularly friendly, and the seating area was occupied by people who were allowed there to sleep. Even though there were no seats for customers, the staff wasn't doing anything to ask the sleeping person to leave.

I was a regular at this Pret in the Angel centre as I used to work near by, wasn’t that bad to begin with but has gotten worse over time, I only really went in there due to my Pret subscription (which I have now cancelled). The staff in this Pret are rude, have no manners and are always talking amongst themselves, they can never get a simple order right, on many occasions they some how missed my order and I’d spend ages waiting for them to make me a new one, I’ve seen this happen with so many customers, as well as seen a lot of customers complain about the service in here. I no longer go to this Pret and I know many other people who no longer go here

Very little ham in the Ham Hock & Festive Sprouts Macaroni Cheese. Looked like just sprinkled over. Usually better than that.

Pret is now designed for Members only with non-members have to pay significantly more. The food is very expensive for non-members. This is clearly designed to enable the members only discounts. Great if you are a member but bad, if like me, you go to Pret fairly often but not enough to be a member. Avoid it now.

Very slow service and drinks were not made nice, only one person making drinks which then takes more time ! I have never been to a slower pret and I use a lot of them.

Sounds like the manager was having a bad day last sunday when she was trying to resolve a altercation with a rude customer! There was no need to shout at my sister and take it out on her. She only asked where the toilets were! I think the worker needs to go on a anger management course and think carefully about she speaks to customers!

Useless Pret. Have tried to order via Deliveroo twice, they never confirm the orders in time and so what you order gets sold out before they can pack it. The first time they substituted a MEAT croissant for the porridge I ordered and the second time they cancelled the whole thing. Terrible service

Horrible experience at the Angel pret. Sandwich advertised for £4.85. They charged me £4.99 so I pointed it out. Made me wait for ages whilst the manager changed the bins, then wouldn’t refund me the difference. Pretty sure is this against uk trading standards. Manager was clearly annoyed with me and made me feel bad for asking. Told me I’d have to write to customer service to get the partial refund. Just went in for a sandwich and now I feel horrible.

Staff are very nice and helpful, I accidentally got injured and they helped me so much. Words can’t express my gratitude ;)

This pret is convenient if you need somewhere to sit down during shopping, and the coffee is usually hot and OK tasting. Today it was busy and the coffee took a bit longer than ideal. The staff member making the coffees was grumpy and mumbled the coffee name and plonked them far away from several people waiting. It was all a bit chaotic but nothing to worry about...until.... I then noticed the display counter with cakes, pastries, cookies etc. it was completely open on one side, and there were 3 flies landing on the produce. It was really disgusting, and the staff member just waved her hand away from the flies on the cookies when I told her. I instantly felt nauseous. If anyone had ordered anything from there I would've actively loudly made a fuss to warn them. Really awful design of these cabinets if they are fully open to flies and vermin at all times. Directly facing the customers as well so very offputting. This needs to be changed across all branches and the cabinets need to be shut when not being used. I will never buy food from pret ever again after seeing this. So revolting and clearly happens constantly as the staff couldn't care less. She should have thrown away the items that she could openly see had flies on them, but nope. Very concerning indeed. Though with the cupboard designed like it is there's frankly little they can do to stop it. Toilet was pretty gross as well, clearly is not checked/cleaned half hourly which it should be in a really busy place with only the one unisex/disabled toilet for all customers. This branch is no worse than any other really, but these hygiene issues cannot be overlooked. Once seen they cannot ever be unseen sadly.

Rude employees Didn’t get her name but she was mid thirty, dark skin I knocked on the door at 7:31am and she got angry and told me that we open when we are ready. Very poor

Pretty popular location in the Angel Shopping Centre. Staff members and baristas are nice and efficient and usually your drink comes ready in no time. I like the atmosphere of the seating area with warm brick effect walls. Great place to grab a coffee to carry on shopping or stop and rest. Nice branch.

saw flies inside the bakery section and even at seating areas. wifi was terrible and couldn’t even use mobile data since there was no service inside. would not recommend.

Food/drinks are as tasty as usual however the majority of the staff are dishonest, rude, clueless and unhelpful! Also this Pret DOES SELL SMOOTHIES! You only get them if you aware of this. Unfortunately they are oddly selective on the availability which shouldn’t be the case all items of sale should be available until closing time. E.g. I’ve been served a smoothie in the morning, returned the afternoon and told by a different barista they do the sell smoothies (in reality they’ve actually closed down the smoothie machine early - 4pmish). They also have not got there smoothie board up, in my opinion, to deter smoothie orders. Its really odd behaviour and certainly unethical. Lastly a general comment: the Chai latte syrup replacement is awful. I do hope they return to the powered blue sachets.

The staff at this site are a joke. Why are you consistently hiring staff with absolutely zero customer service skills? With zero initiative as well. They are a full combination of lazy, inattentive and argumentative. Pret sort yourselves out, such a busy premises doesn’t need to add to customers stress on the daily. Every time I visit it is either, my order is taken down wrong, they overcharge me or they argue unnecessarily when I correct them - they also think the correct response is to then double down on their mistakes. When oat is in the title of the order, I don’t think I also have to mention that I need oat milk. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible service, when asked if all the coffees on the menu were organic non of the staff knew the answer and looked at me as I was an alien asking alien question. I wanted to get a pack of organic ground coffee and non of the pricing was on. So I just left.. staff wasn’t helpful at all. Not going back again.

Large premises with a decent sized seating area. Baristas have an awful attitude. Aggressive, dismissive and hostile. There are two other Prets within a few hundred metres. One to avoid.

Worst customer service of any coffee shop I’ve experienced. Staff constantly making mistakes, no apology, no customer service and some of the girls working there need to fix the rude, bored expression from their faces.

Only go if you have time to spare. Slowest Pret I’ve ever been to. 2 stars because most staff are friendly, but many don’t seem to know how to work the system nor the various drinks Pret offers. Obviously it can get busy, but even at quiet times I’ve waited 15-20 minutes for a plain tea.

Comfortable seating area outside, sat for ages, watched the world go by. Inside looks clean and inviting, great cup of tea! Will visit again

It is a Pret a Manger, expect medium quality food and drinks. Subsribe to the App though, and save money every month on Tea and Coffee. Good Deal for Me!

Stsff are super friendly and super fast. Soya hot chocolate tastes divine and it is super clean. Everything is stocked and ready to be enjoyed. Looks small but there are quite a few seats inside and lovely exposed brick wall.

Had lunch here today, and the staff were very nice and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back thank you 😊.

This used to be my go-to coffee place! It's spacious and they have a variety of options. But, for the past 2 months their washroom is out of order which makes it difficult to work there, and they run out of iced drinks pretty quickly.

Not even one star! We went there on sunday with my friend and we asked for vanilla frappe(it was around lunchtime) after 15 minutes we still didn’t have the frappe. we asked the staff 4 times and they never apologized, just said: “he is doing it” and pointing at a colleague. That dude jumped at the till and didn’t even do that frappes and coffees after that. We just watched and waited for him but nothing happened so asked if we can changed the frappe to a coffee then because literally no ones doing it. The staff said no and we walked out. We will never go back!

Really dirty floors and tables. Unfriendly service. Normally I love Pret but rubbish branch.

Sorry excuse for a Pret and a disappointment each time. I've been to this pret multiple times over the past 3/4 months enough to even call myself a regular. As such I've been putting off writing this review, but sadly enough is enough. Staff at this pret are often rude, slow and generally make you something that looks and tastes like a blend of a cappuccino, a latte and a mocha. It appears that whatever coffee you order you get that one drink or some kind of variation of it. Coffee machine is always broken. A bit like the infamous mcflurry machine at many mcdonalds being 'broken' at least 1 machine at this pret always appears to be 'broken' for weeks on end. You would think at a coffee shop one of your most important pieces of equipment would be your machines and if its not working you would fix it... ASAP!. I would not reccomend this pret and I would suggest anyone who wants to get their pret coffee fix to go the one down the road by HSBC. (it's only a 3-5 min walk)

Spacious and comfortable place for a cup of hot drink! Amazing service, a girl called Aliza is an absolute angel, always a big smile! 5 star for her!

Great staff as always but it is always out of stock of things, the ice machine doesn’t work, no smoothies, frappes, coconut milk, chai, etc. And they’re chronically understaffed, the queue is quite often out the door and across the street with one or two staff getting rushed off their feet all day… but they mostly manage to keep their good humour, which is the only reason I still prefer this pret generally. And at least now they have the outdoor seating back!

Is a chain of coffee shops that has nice products, even though the coffee is not he best one did really good, at most with the subscription of £20 a month for unlimited cafeteria beverages(including frappes, smoothies, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, teas and teas...a su can have up to 5per day n u must have at least 30 mins between each drink). Besides the drinks they also have sandwiches, salads, wraps and soups(their vegeterian soups are delicious). Very important area to improve is that they need more workers. Happens to me often that they are super overwhelmed or forgetting your order as they have queues the entire day and work nonstop. THIS PRET HAS FRAPPES & SMOOTHIES(not all of prets do)

I was waiting iced latte at hand off area for 5min, but the cashier took my iced latte for the last customer. They really don’t care about order turn. The cashier was blonde hair . I visited around 9.30 morning. Really bad experience here. Every single time.

I love Pret especially its coffee offer (£20 one) coffee for free I like to call it . We all spend more then £20 a month on coffee or any drink so this offer is brilliant. Try adding up ALL the drinks you buy out for the month and see water tea iced latte etc You can have any liquid refreshment hot or cold oh and miso on the offer . I LOVE IT

As a lady was being served wearing the mask under the chin, reluctant to pull it up when I reminded her, I raised it with the staff. Shocking seeing Pret’s staff replied to me saying “I know, you’re right..”, but did nothing to remind the lady that masks are mandatory to be wear indoors. The lady was clearly not a case of someone who could not wear mask, but rather an abuse customer who couldn’t care any less about behaving in compliance with the rules. Worse part the lack of sensitivity from Pret’s personnel in ensuring customers are feeling safe within their premises.

Staff are a bit uparsy..coffee okay but no fireworks..toilet assumingly broken for about 2 years...Covid aside! 😳 Oh well 🙂

I’ve been to this place a few times already and I’ve always got a perfect service. Today, however, I was served by a girl who doesn’t speak English very well - couldn’t understand when I asked her if there was a chance to have my matcha latte weaker, so I just gave up and ordered it the normal way. Having ordered matcha latte with coconut milk, I was aware of the fact that coconut milk doesn’t froth very easily, but I wasn’t expecting to get literally warm milk with matcha in it! When I got back to the store, having explained the situation, I was told that coconut milk does not froth. Now, I’ve worked 5 years making coffees and I know how annoying this kind of customers can be. But I finally learned how to make it, so maybe it’s not me who’s wrong, but the manager on duty? Especially considering the fact, that I’ve had exactly the same drink from this branch a couple of weeks ago and it was completely different. If you don’t know, please check out videos on YT.

Small pret. Dont do cold drinks

30 c day needed a drink and a sit down. The Angel branch provided both with a pleasant unobtrusive A/C system. clean unit ,pleasant team,fair price point.

When Pret turned into a 5 star dining experience. Friendly, fun, warm serving team that actually worked like a team and enjoyed their time together. Drinks were really well made and turned up quickly. Barrista came round the counter to hand drink to me personally and said thanks and enjoy. Manager was on hand and supporting staff and ensured service was good and customers happy. Shelves well stocked and even though building works going on outside, they maintained a clean store front and a cool quiet ambience. BEST PRET EVER.

Relax place, great coffee, a bit expensive the food!

Why are the service agents so rude and dismissive here? I've never walked into a place and been waiting to pay, totally ignored. Then they approach the counter.. I'm standing right infront of the counter.. I'm 5"5..not that small.. the guys like "Hi, can I help any one...anyone?" Over behind me.. then he notices me.. doesn't apologise... I ask if there's restrooms as well.. he just says ..."yeah at the back" uncaringly.. apathetically.. like.. if you don't want to give proper service.. work in a warehouse bro. Then I ask the lady for a napkin...not every pret has a napkin station...and she rudely dismisses my enquiry instead of nicely pointing it out.. like pracyically rolling her eyes.. "It's over there.." as if she's super irritated... first of all.. I was also super irritated that you saw me standing there at didn't acknolwedge me.. if you don't know how to do your job properly.. why get annoyed at me for not noticing the cutlery station? Because I guarantee your intelligence level is not up to standard either.. based on this performance.. like.. if your staff are going to be super ignorant.. that's what they'll get back... I only came in here the 2nd time cause I needed a toilet nearby and still bought something to be polite.. but yeah.. next time I'll be one of those people who doesn't respect the service since the service doesn't respect it's customers. Worst pret I've been to and I've been all over London as a resident for 15 years and regular commuter to different locations. Maybe they hate their jobs or are overworked.. but it comes across terribly! I would avoid this place as much as possible.. Starbucks and the other Pret venue down the road towards the station are millllionnnn times better for customer service!!

Lovely place. Getting a free tasty coffee at my first time in London is just so welcoming. I loved it! And I’ll definitely try it again soon!
