Very rude barista after providing wrong coffee refused to refund

Barista (if that's what you call him) used the same steam wand on different types of milk. I have an allergy to cows milk and to be given a drink made with the same wand is unacceptable . And stop rushing.. chill

They don’t accept using the Pret membership!

Very poor service, I am a subscriber of the monthly member. And I was told by the staff who works at 7:23am on 4th May 2024, that they don’t allow members to use their membership to get coffee. This coffee shop is closed for membership people who want to use their membership to get coffee! I strongly DO NOT recommend this store! Membership user, DO NOT come here! It’s a waste of time!!!!!!!

Rude staff and got diarrhoea after eating from there

The person serving me came out to the counter in gloves with a mop in her hand. She put down the mop and without changing her gloves or washing her hands she started handling food! When I questioned her she was surprised I had an issue with that! Manager didnt seem to be boyhered either. Needless to say I left. Bon appetite everyone! No way I'd ever go back there!

That's not a bloody milkshake, why they sold me a "rice coconut milkshake latte" as what the manager called it and also it's feels funny in my tummy, I want my money back, that's not worth £3.70

No gluten free food. Sandwich bread damp and "sticky".

Really not impressed as firstly they don’t accept pret subscriptions, and secondly i wasn’t given my drink until 10 people who had ordered after me were served. The girl who gave me my drink wasn’t apologetic at all either

So grateful for the man that worked here (forgot to ask for name sorry!!!) stopped by due to suitcase zip breaking and he was so kind enough to wrap it with cling film for me!! Keep up the good service and thank you so much!

Does not accept Pret subscription so had to pay for the coffee and didn’t get the 10% off our sandwiches despite paying £30 a month for the subscription! They are also obviously trying save money on the sandwiches too as got my usual tuna cucumber and barely had anything in it. Avoid this place. It’s also empty on comparison to Starbucks next door which has had a long queue the entire time for the 30 mins we were here.

Was really impressed with this outlet, it was clean fresh and very friendly staff. The service was was really quick and coffee was delicious! There's a great range of cakes and sandwiches. There are quite a few tables which were all clear and ready to use! Only down side is they don't do any fruit or herbal tea's.

Be aware, this branch doesn’t accept subscriptions. If you’re going to have to pay anyway you may as well go to Starbucks across the hall instead !

Brought a ham and cheese sandwich, couldn't eat it, way to much sea salt, I crunched on it!!! Then when I opened the sandwich to see what was so salty I noticed the ham was grey with green tinge ... Na. You can keep it. Won't be going there again

Noone there knew how to make a cortado and the branch has opted out of the Pret Coffee subscription. Luckily there's a Starbucks right next to it

Nice Pret in the nicest service station I've been to with friendly servers.

Pret at South Mimms. Asked if it would be possible to make a cheese toasties for my vegetarian daughter (there where none in the display at 8am) as there wasn't much else to choose from but they refused even though they still had the hot and cold chefs still making food and placing it out for display. She ended up eating a croissant and we had to shop elsewhere.

Only table available was not cleaned, had crumbs from previous diner. 50% discount not offered or given.

Superb addition to South Mimms services. Always look forward to their tasty sandwiches, porridge, almond croissant, fruit granola, not to mention the lovely cappuccinos and smoothies. Hope you’re open again soon as we missed you during our pit stop today.

July 2019 - Other branches do "slim" sandwiches for those with smaller appetites or on a diet. This one doesn't! Prices well marked up as in a service area! Now - You are charged extra to eat in using their basic facilities. I was happy to pay over the busy Christmas period until I realised people were "eating in" with goods purchased elsewhere! Staff did nothing - just not good enough!

Apart from the staff not having a clue about what they are selling i.e the new charcoal shot, the veggie/vegan food is amazing.

Friendly staff. Lovely coffee & sandwiches. Clean seating area. Thank you for making the start of my day a great one. The manager runs a good team.

I've just driven to this store expecting it to be open at 6am so I can collect lunch for work. They don't actually open until 7am.

A large selection of fresh sandwiches, great coffee, and the tomato soup won my heart

Great addition to South Mimms excellent coffee with 50p off if you bring your own mug. Very good food, really tasty and a great selection. Nice friendly staff who make all the food fresh each day.
