Same as all Pret places. Smaller selection of fresh stuff in fridges than at some other Pret venues. Basically sticks to the model of overpriced slightly above average lunch food.

I spend a lot of money every day there but I must stop to do that because today I am feel sick from their cold areas. It doesn't worth to spend money and to stay in such an cold environment.

One of several Prets in the area. Crowded downstairs but a,quieter more relaxed area with comfy chairs on the first floor. Decent coffee and snacks. The only discordant note being a member of staff who brusquely announced the area was closing.

Avoid if you can, not limiting the amount of people that can enter the shop at a time. Tables dirty and clearly no Table cleaning set up in place between customers, all windows shut not allowing any ventilation. Food average!

This is for the Pret Market Square. I tried the hummus and Chipotle wrap before and it was really good, however today it had no filling and the sandwich was half empty. Also got some snacks but left hungry after lunch. Not much point if it's not filling.

Lovely staff, lovely fresh food, best brownies and coffee! I come here at least twice a week and it's the healthiest fast food with the greatest choice.

I don't understand recent reviews of this Kingston eaterie, as our experience of this more upmarket fast food place was quite good. The service was both friendly and fast, the packaged food was nevertheless quite fresh and tasty, and the seating was comfortable. There was nothing wrong with the chicken and avocado sandwich, or the chicken and avocado wrap which we had, and my fresh orange juice was indeed fresh, and the coffee americano was quite adequate. And my lemon cheesecake was surprisingly good. This was a popular place to eat, and we were lucky to get a comfortable window table (as a couple were just leaving). There is more seating upstairs, though a bit too dark for our tastes (unless you are by the window), but downstairs is quite light. Two points to consider -- at 3:00pm, the choice of food is more limited (not sure if items are replaced when they run low on the shelves); and the toilets are up a narrow staircase on the second floor (third floor if you are from North America).

Laziest most inefficient men working at the market Square Pret in Kingston. Specially the Indian guy with the moustache, he is so full of himself he doesn't want to serve customers. He should get a different job. I have seen old men walk and work faster. He is not having physical difficulties. Just can't be bothered attitude.

The crayfish and avacodo sandwiches are tasteless tbh. They used to be lovely...maybe I was unlucky or Pretty have changed the way they are made. Not recommended Overall very expensive for what it is with so many local competers. I suggest you look around before spending your money.

Staff are always friendly and organised, the shop is always spotless and there is always a staff member cleaning and reorganising which is great to see. The fridges offer a wide variety of healthy food and drinks, and there is also a hot selection. Wide variety of drinks and snacks and plenty of seats.

Although busy the service was quick, and the tables cleared regularly. The place is clean and tidy, and well organized. The coffee was up to the standard expected.

A bit cold and non-descript. Coffee OK, and price good. Didn't try the food; wasn't that time of day. Despite it being quiet, it seemed to take a long time to get a double espresso.

Jonathan Personal Gibbs 46 reviews Dine in | Brunch | £1–10 Following the demise of the much loved Jaxx, a period without a local cafe, and a couple of stuttering starts, the OLRC has found its feet and become a treasured community cafe. For sure there are slicker venues - better food and classier decor - to be found locally, but there is now a real sense of a local shared space and an regular eclectic mix of patrons. As a daily vistor I've noticed the vibe change between times of day, day of week, and college term times. You kinda sign up for that before you enter. I haven't experienced their ccasional evening live entertainments so can't comment. Pet friendly, this has become my dogs' second home, along with a cute kitten and (as previously noted) the occasional pair of parakeets.

Kept changing the estimated delivery times, My house is 5min. From the restaurant...driver definitely went to do other deliveries further away from me before delivering our food, that arrived cold, soggy fries and melted ice-cream....

We entered the restaurant as alot of people were leaving, and we could hear them complaining about having to find somewhere else to eat, we assumed it was because they were fully booked but when we walked in we could see 4 people in there. We then asked for a table for four (2 adults + 2 young children), the person said that's fine, asked if we wanted any drinks we said just 2, she then told us the price (£97) and we had to ask again as we couldn't quite believe it. Said no thanks and ended up ordering a takeaway. We can now understand why people were walking out. On the plus side we went for a meal in the other restaurant which was table service and for the four of us plus 3 drinks it was only £55.

Ordered the pepperoni pizza today at £11.50 and it was tasteless and totally bland so much so I left my seat to ask for some seasoning or chilli oil to which on both occasions they had nothing! Cooking pizza with barely no ingredients or seasoning! Shame . Won’t be returning what a let down. Stood at the till to ask of the seasoning and all of the “young” waiters standing around having a mother’s meeting taking barely no interest in customer professionalism. As a customer I felt I had to do all the work no one even came round to ask how is everything nothing! Poor manners and totally oblivious to be honest. Won’t be returning nor will my friends or family .
