Quick visit while plane was delayed..Quick service. Most impressive was chap called Julian, worked frenetically wiping tables, clearing rubbish, wiping food shelves, sweeping then stepped in to serve.Always cheerful, chat with customers, spotted problems and dealt with them, never slowed down...should get Employee of the month!

Looking around we decided to try here for an early breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The service was efficient and very friendly and the staff worked hard to make sure the cafe was kept clean. The coffee was good and we enjoyed a breakfast bowl with fruit, nuts and granola. We also had a tasty cheese twist, cheese and ham pastry and an egg and bacon baguette with a water as well as 2 flat whites for just over £18.

My twin brother Stephen and I were in Manchester Airport to catch a flight to Prague to enjoy an eight days holiday in that beautiful Bohemian city ,with lots of time to kill we headed to Pret A Manger to grab a quick bite to eat as with such an early flight we had left home without a breakfast within us,we purchased a baguette each ,I chose a cheese salad baguette while my twinny went for an egg salad baguette ,we also got a flat white coffee each ,service was quick and I must say the coffee was really good ,we grabbed a table were we chilled out eating our baguettes and looking forward to our holiday in Prague,we both enjoyed our coffee's and baguettes in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this Pret A Manger outlet in Manchester Airport we were totally impressed.

Go anywhere else in the airport, even in a 24/7 One stop down the road. Went in with my girlfriend today, 1 member of staff on the floor, 2 behind the tills, no queue, relaxed atmosphere, picked up a sandwich and a drink. Went up to the bar to be ignored for 4-5 minutes by them, then served another customer who came behind me. Then I tried to pay again but was ignored again and told by one of them we would not be served. No reason given, no one available to talk to, all other customers dealt with normally. Frankly wondering if it is because I am not british? Or if they did not like the way we looked. I just put everything back on the shelves and went somewhere else. If your staff is not comfortable dealing with foreigners maybe don't put them up working in an airport, or in contact with the public at all. This happened on 16/03/22 around 4pm. Always a nice start to the holidays.

This is a popular food establishment at Manchester airport. Food quality and coffee are both good and prices comparable to other airport eateries. It is less noisy than many of the nearby places.

Bought a chicken pesto flatbread, massively overly priced, £4.50 only to eat it to find the chicken content was hardly any…. And the bread was like eating cardboard…. Massive let down on something that looked quite tempting…… how they can charge that price is scandalous….. was actually bought at terminal 2 arrivals but not listed on here….. so used terminal 1 as same company….

So many cafes remain closed that it’s either here or wait half an hour at the pub. At 8.00 in the morning it’s a no brainer but the bacon barn and coffee were really good, even better with no queue.

I was really gutted today, having always raved about and knowing I'd at least find something to eat there, today i found myself genuinely surprised by the lack of egg-free veggie or vegan sandwiches. There was one sandwich which was a posh chedder pickle and even that contained egg, which I'm unable to have. The staff did offer to check the book but just stated that each cafe gets a different order and these were the stocked items here. Really hope they will improve this sometime soon.

So there ya go, I came across this wonderful Pret within Manchester’s gleaming, clean and tidy airport soon after a review of rip off Starbucks at Belfast’s scruffy, poorly maintained, Belfast International Airport; image this dump is our offer of an international airport. The differences between these places are stark, Prets food is fresh made daily and very good indeed, their coffee is ace, the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean and it was tidied twice in the 40 minutes we were there. Social distancing was properly observed and contact details were requested as we were sitting in. Best of all for customers - we weren’t ripped off. Once Pret sets up in Norn Iron Starbucks are likely to lose my loyalty. For £13.98 total I had a crayfish & avocado salad with a super flat white. They provide little sachets of blooming marvellous Tabasco sauce ; my wife indulged in a cappuccino with a generously filled French style baguette with unsmoked bacon, egg, onion and salad. The bacon had much more bacon than bacon fat. The baguette was crispy and about 10” long. Pret food is handmade in their shop kitchens throughout the day and anything they don't sell, goes to charity. Their coffee is 100% organic and they have a Coffee Fund to support the next generation of farmers. Their teas, milks and milk alternatives are also organic. They have produced their first Environment, Social and Governance report that sits on their website. They say that they are committed to publishing future reports to track sustainability progress over the years to come. They have had a zero landfill policy for all their managed UK shops since 2012 and customers have been able to recycle bottles and cans in shops since 2007. So while I can’t find if their organic coffee is shade grown and bird friendly it’s still 3 green stars. The Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center in the USA has developed the only 100% Organic and Shade Grown coffee certification in the world called Bird Friendly Certification with the noble aim that every bean is produced organically and under high-quality shade, ensuring tropical "agroforests" are preserved and migratory birds find a healthy haven when they travel from northern climes to those faraway farms producing the beans. With widespread clear cutting for sun coffee plantations, it's imperative to protect the tropical forest that remains and rehabilitate degraded ecosystems. It’s also hard to find if they pay staff living wages so maybe they do and they’ll report on this soon.

Visited Pret A Manger in Manchester Airport Terminal 1 for Brunch as it was just about the only food place open. However, they didn't have any Gluten Free sandwiches or wraps due to running a limited menu due to low passenger numbers - Covid of course! So opted for a seafood salad. The staff member gave me free cafe lattes to make up for the lack of gluten free options which was a genuinely nice shock for me. Thats a first for many years. Plus the free cafe latte was good!

We ordered a selection of items from Pret at the airport - turkey and vegetable soup with a bread roll, a salmon salad, and a large chocolate chip cookie and a bottle of water. As always with pret, the quality was very good and the price ok. A favorite l, reliable, go to for a quick bite...

With Pret A Manger you know the food you will get and this is the same as elsewhere. Serving was quick. The person cleaning the tables clearly did not want to be there or was having a bad day. He was moving the chairs really noisily and didn't care about the customers sitting in the restaurant whilst he was cleaning.

Arrived in Manchester around 10 am off a Lufthansa flight from Munich. Was looking forward to a mid-morning Latte after the flight and before finding surface transport to my destination. From the pictures above, I am not sure if this is the same Pret, but I was in arrivals in Terminal 1 (is there a bigger one airside?) Pret shares a seating area with Greggs, which is fine. And I had a freshly-made BLT to go with the Latte. All good

Arrived late at MAN and just needed a top-up sandwich. Surprised to find it closed? This is a 24 hour airport - not a very good one either - but to have to search for food at 8.30 pm, eventually having to go back into Manchester on the train, well....

Service was terrible. I asked politely, if the server would run the hot water just a little to ensure my drink was hot. What pursued was a little passive aggressive, tantrum about how it doesn't make a difference. Thermo dynamics was not her strong point. Bad service from a good co. Shame.

Bought a very average egg mayo sandwich from these slick operators today. Price marked 3.15 in very large print. Went to pay and the till operator asked eat in or take away. Eat in I answered innocently and was charged 3.79. Checked on the shelf and sure enough in tiny print it said "Dine in 3.75". I guess that's what you expect from a firm set up by a City boy.

Exactly what you would expect from a Pret A Manger - but an airport. Quick, convenient, and value for money (you don't often say that in an airport) - with the full Pret menu.

Arriving early for a 6 am flight, we were desperate for a coffee. Now I'm ashamed to say that I have never been in a Pret a Manger outlet, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although we weren't really wanting anything to eat, we finished up having freshly-baked Danish pastries and an excellent filter coffee (which incidentally was 99p). I was amazed how good all the food looked and felt it was so much more reasonable than the usual airport outlets. We shall certainly be using Pret when flying from Manchester in the future. Incidentally, I believe that they are knocking 50p off all coffees when you take your own re-usable coffee cup.

I cannot comment on the food, but my americano was thinner than a super model's legs. There might have been a decent shot of espresso in there somewhere, but we will never know, as it was driwned in a sea of hot water.

O dear o dear what a cafe to dine for dinner. Completely the wring choice. Ordered the fish chips and peas and for the high price it wasn't up to standard. Cold plate to start off, frozen chips not cooked in the middle and soggy batter on the frozen undercooked fish So disappointed as it was nearly empty so time was on there side to get it right The staff were nice front of house but sadly definitely won't be recommending this cafe and will never return.

I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich, was appalled to find out this only consists of a singular sausage and a single piece of bacon, on a considerably large bap. i was basically eating a butter sandwich. they then had the audacity to charge £3.20 for this
