Pret A Manger in Kingston upon Thames

Friendly staff, good pastry but the two flat whites were so very weak . Very pricey and the decor is now looking functional but without being stylish. More public swimming pool changing room than a friendly coffee shop. . It’s a shame that’s pret has pret has lost its way .

Chairs are old grotty and need replacing. Can't be too difficult to repair or replace these to give customers a better experience

VERY expensive for what it is. I went there for lunch - I work near by- as I also needed to make a personal call and didnt want to be outside - weather was foul. I had a small sandwich and a drink and it set me back almost £10! You can have a good warm lunch for that at my local.How people can afford eating there every day , especially youngsters, I have no idea. Since then I've been making my own sandwiches and having a coffee break at Nero's. Way cheaper and as good.

Took order online and kept delaying to cancel a hour later . Total order was approx £30 for a Lunch Order for 4 people No communication and a total letdown

A work colleague and I ducked in here for lunch. It was busy on a weekday and we found there wasn’t much seating, even with the upstairs area. The food was fine. I had the chicken salad bowl and it tasted good and felt healthy and fresh.

As always and everywhere, the Pret food tastes delicious and is obviously freshly prepared. Excellent.

Fresh and tasty salmon and mango salad box from this popular branch that gets very busy at weekday lunchtimes - keep in mind it can be difficult to get a seat at this time.

Poor service and rude staff. I ordered a macchiato and got an espresso when I questioned this I was told not to expect drinks I’ve had elsewhere and ushered away. Hot chocolate was lukewarm and barely tasted of chocolate.

My family and I decided to visit Pret in Kingston to take advantage of the eat out to help out scheme. There wasn’t much choice of food but we managed to each find something then paid. We started to look for a free table but unfortunately they were all taken. Some people had finished there food so we waited at the side WITH MASKS ON as assumed a table would soon be free. A member of staff came over and said you can’t wait for a table and pointed is down stairs. My son started crying as he was hungry and just wanted to sit down. Luckily a kind lady offered us her 2 seater table and I pulled up an extra seat for myself. We started eating then the same rude member of staff from earlier told me I couldn’t sit with my family as it’s only 2 people per table. I had to get up and eat at another table alone. This women was so rude to me and I witnessed her pushing past others customers. I can’t believe what awful customer service they provide in this place!

I echo the review on here about the filthy unisex toilets. Upon entering the common wash area there was a stench of urine & each toilet either had urine or faeces on the seat or in the pan. I appreciate Pret A Manger that you cannot be responsible for people's gross behaviour in there but if you must have toilets which both males & females share then please at least clean them regularly!!!!

Really slow service this girl flirting with a customer for 10 minutes then making a huge cue and even when she get to serv people was really slow looking elsewhere wasn't paying attention at all appart from being rude and unpolite.

What is going on with unisex loos. I do not want to use a urine sprayed seat thank you If you must do this then up your cleaning regime. Us female's expect clean Lois. The stairs were also pretty grubby. Sort it out

Think Pret a Manger and you usually think of cramped, poky high street outlets with barely room to swing a cat. Not so the branch at the corner of Clarence Street and Castle Street - in pole position to mop up the hungry shopper traffic. It's huge. It's enormous. There's almost always room to sit, even on very busy Saturday shopping mornings. The food? Well - the customary range of filled rolls, baguettes, sandwiches and biccies. The coffee's fine, the service is chirpy and lively - they are well-trained - and if you're looking for a town-centre place to meet, you can't go far wrong.

Good range of sandwiches, including 'plain' sandwiches for children (ham or cheese, £1.75). It would be nice to see more vegetarian choices of salads and soups, but perhaps arriving in late lunch hour limited what was on the shelves. Friendly staff, reasonable value. made a good picnic lunch for a sunny day.

Great location, good vegetarian options, polite staff, and tasty food. If it wasn't as pricey it'd be 5 stars -even though I understand why they're pricey.

I have to say Pret is the best coffee shop on the high street. Everyone I go to I find the staff most helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Wherever I go I always Google to find one in the area.

does what it says on the front, one single over used toiket by staff and customers alike for a large place - always a pain; not much sandwich choice, but hey ho. Quite nice staff, quite well laid out otherwise.

Pret is close to the train station making it very convenient for grab and go coffee and sandwich or croissant in the morning. The coffee is also quite good. The croissants are always fresh.

I went into the shop and asked what their dog policy was as on the front the shop it tells you nothing. I asked a member of staff and he said the dog would be okay. So in we came, a couple with a dog that was not a assistance dog left and we took their seat. Before I could order coffee and lunch a rude short woman who spoke very poor English told me no dog.

Given its location I doubt they have to try hard to busy - and they clearly don't

They always have my favorite salad, the croissants and pasta are never burnt and always taste fresh, unlike another prest I have been to. The staff are friendly which is a big bonus

This branch of these up-market Cafes rates well in comparison both with other branches of the same chain & other Cafes nearby.

The restaurant location is very good on a bright corner site facing south. The food selection is excellent with promptly re-stocked shelves. The filter coffee is good tasting and unbelievable value at just 99p. The staff are young, hardworking, cheerful and efficient.

There are several coffee shops to choose from, in this area, but I keep coming back here. Great atmosphere & the staff are always friendly & efficient, a credit to their company. They make a good flat white, too.

Il posto è accogliente e lo standard dei prodotti è alto. Sempre cibi biologici, freschi, tantissima scelta, come in tutti gli altri locali della catena. Ci siamo sempre andati a pranzo, mangiando tramezzini, frutta, o soups o focaccine calde. Siamo sempre stati soddisfatti, sia della qualità che del prezzo. In questi ultimo giorni abbiamo però provato una volta a fare colazione lì....cattivissima idea! Il cappuccino era orribile, almeno per il gusto italiano (ma il cappuccino E' italiano!). Do 3 punti perchè è una media tra il livello alto del cibo e il cappuccino (la colpa è del caffè, amaro e quasi bruciato, invece che morbido , pastoso e "dolce" come dovrebbe essere). D'altra parte è un problema che si riscontra nella maggioranza dei locali nel Regno Unito
