Awful experience! Really understaffed. Blood on the bedsheets, ran out of breakfast food at 8.30am on Sunday!! They serve until 11.... No juices, no clean plates or cutlery. Had to use the tiny plates for breakfast as they had no clean plates. Room was adequate but a smell of damp from the bathroom. They need to employ more staff and look at the number of people staying so they plan the food better. Paid 10.99 for breakfast and could only have 2 pieces of toast and a croissant. Not really worth it. Won't stay here again. All other customers were saying the same things. One thing I will say is the girl working (13th April 25) was amazing. She was running around everywhere, doing what she could with a big smile on her face. Not her fault at all. Such a shame she was run off her feet.

I've already written a review for this hotel but wanted to shout out Charlie! He is absolutely amazing! He goes above and beyond for the work he does. Please give this man a pay rise because he is absolutely exceptional. He goes out of his way to help guests and colleagues without any complaint. Absolutely incredible man. Please value your worker because he exceptional! :)

Firstly the breakfast chef nailed it both mornings we stayed and made us epic eggs to order each day. Thank you for being so accommodating! The evening dining experiences were less impressive with waits of 1hr 15mins on night one and 45mins last night. Evening team just weren't on it like the morning team in our opinion.

Stayed here a few times. Tonight paid £140 per night. Poor mobile signal on 3, Internet very slow. See the room quality on the pictures. Restaurant looks great but service is extremely understaffed. The usual wiat for dinner is about an hour at least that was the case on all occasions I dined here (usually Mondays or Tuesdays) . The bed quality is standard Premier Inn.

One of the worst places I’ve ever been to . Food was terrible and took about 90minutes to arrive . All the food was cheap supermarket rubbish . Never eat here , there is a better place right next to it .

For shire park the location is very good. Parking onsite and free is good Rooms spacious with comfy beds however rooms have no closed closet space, lack power sockets and unless you leave the window opens smell damp. Bathroom have no socket for shavers and as per photos, had a flaking and mouldy ceiling and a broken totilet seat. Requested it fixed but not done. Breakfast was ok, except that eggs were always "on the way.... " the Evening meals appeared to be reheated not fresh, soft drinks always flat. Staff were friendly but service often slow. Biggest gripe was the restaurant itsself which has really obviously dirty carpets and drab lighting. And all 4 days of my stay a bucket for a leaking roof. Rennovations happening but were still noisy past 6pm at times. Premium wifi really slow, never over 5mbs for context my mobile data never under 20mbs.

My daughter and I both had the cooked breakfast, and have both been violently ill, at both ends..Thank goodness they ran out of food, at 10.15..Or we would have eaten more..Appalling how the check in was , and how disorganised the breakfast area was..The Chef was way out of her depth.I was impressed with the room, and the cost though..But nearly £15 per head for a brekky, that ran out and made us ill was awful. .

As you would expect for this type of hotel. The facilities were clean and tidy, and the location was ideal for us. The only letdown was the continental breakfast. There were no pastries left as it seemed that those who ordered cooked breakfast were also having the continental. When I pointed this out, I was told that it would take at least 20 minutes to get some more. Time we didn't have and no alternative was offered.

As with many premier inns, this one is in need of a full refurbishment and some lights are even dangerous! Staff…. As with most Premier inn venues were brilliant, especially the wry customer service focused Darren at the bar.

Rooms okay and the staff are fantastic. JUST DON'T Eat HERE. Since they opened their own restaurant the food and service time is the worst I've come across 1 and half first night and second night 2hrs did even stay for dessert and because they cannot use fryers they have to microwave chips in a bag and steam oven everything else. I am also concerned about their health an safety. Two nights on a run their cleaning fluids between the microwave and steam oven just left on display. Only takes one mistake for food poisoning. Apart from that the place is okay to stay, just not to eat. Garage across the road does hot food.

If your working away and have to eat at your hotel avoid this place like the plague. Beefeater no longer there so they have opened their own so called restaurant. Menu has little choice of substandard frozen preprepared food. Just now have sat waiting for an hour and a half for a chicken cesar salad that came without chicken as its a 2.50 extra when 2 days ago it came with it. Horrible undercooked soggy fish and half cooked chips yesterday. Will definitely be going elsewhere in future.

So I came to this place for work reasons. Restaurant is supposed to be open at 7am and both morning I was here breakfast wasn't served on time, making me late to my shift on the 2nd day as breakfast wasn't even fully ready by 7:40 as the chef was late! The first day the chef didn't have food prepared in time either but wasn't as late. Why open the restaurant at 7am if food won't be ready? Burger meals were okay but they didn't have half the menu food on my second evening to try anything other than that. If I wasn't working I'd be more understanding but it's the only warm meals I have access to while staying away from home. Rooms were okay although my room had a door guests couldn't access and it was quite noisy but I understand someone has to stay in this room. The best thing about this hotel was that it was close to my work site.

Lovely staff only complaint is contractors parking in all the disabled bays without blue badges. Difficult to walk from the other end of car park to reception. There was bu I’lllding work going on over the road, nothing to do with the hotel, who took up parking places from 8am

I stayed at the Premier Inn Hotel in Welwyn Garden City for two nights from November 6th to 8th. The rooms were clean and spacious, equipped with a TV. While there wasn’t much to rave about, the bed was comfortable. Some renovations were ongoing, but the staff were considerate and waited for guests to pass through.

Wasted my time 15min hanging in the phone and transferring the call to here and there. Finally someone gave a proper working umber for Welwyn garden( as the number it shows on google for Welwyn garden is not working), Still waited another 5-10min and no one answered the phone and it got disconnected. Waste of time.

The rooms are nice and clean when you come into them. There is no rubbish in the bin, the beds are made, and it has storage spaces. The receptionists are very helpful, they help you with your room and where your room is, and paying. It is a very reasonable price for the hotel rooms. The staff here and very kind and caring. The food is delicious, neat and cooked very well.

Great place to stay if you need to get the train into London, the staff were really friendly and helpful even at 12am, the rooms were ok, they could do to be deep cleaned and a few things need changing such as the soap and shampoo dispensers as that are rusty. There was also a few mould spots in the bathroom and spider eggs in the window. For the price I cwnt complain and would happily go again

The Hotel side wasn't too bad although my key stopped working every single day which is obviously an issue, the beefeater attached is a completely different matter, the first night I had fish and chips and a biscoff sundae, the fish was completely over cooked to the point it was tough as old boots, the second night I got told I couldn't book but would have to ask for a time I might possibly get some food and then I'd have to take it to my room to eat it, (didn't bother), the next night I booked a table, waited for 20 minutes to be seated, ordered a drink (posted picture) and ordered some food, I waited for an hour to get my drink and only after asking, two hours in, still waiting on food, asked a waitress who swiftly said I'd have to wait for someone else as this wasn't her section for serving, (totally unprofessional), finally spoke to another member of staff, who wasn't sure and went to the manager where at the manager checked on her screen and said to me 'I'm sorry but it appears your food order wasn't submitted'! Couldn't believe it I'd already had been there two hours and no food, so walked out to get food elsewhere, breakfast was similar, haphazard hardly anything available or having to wait for food to be put out on the hot plates, this place is absolutely diabolical, it needs shutting down, staff retrained, and some proper chefs and organisation to it, totally unacceptable service and would advise anyone looking to book here to look elsewhere 😡

Today I had the pleasure of eating one of the nicest meals I have ever had. I chose a dish from the chefs specials menu: a perfectly baked salmon fillet with tender little new potatoes and al-dente broccoli with a delicious lemon butter champagne sauce. Followed by a light and delicate lemon tart served warm with vanilla ice-cream and a a scattering of freeze-dried raspberries. The service was outstanding, the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating and the venue itself was comfortable and very pleasant.

CLOSING END OF DECEMBER 23 (ALONG WITH NEXT) Too many open entrances into the cafe make the seating arangemnts awkward, and a cold wind blusters through in the winter months due to the front sliding electronic doors constantly opening.

I went to the View Bar & Kitchen and stayed there for three nights during my Master's Ceremony in the tri-state. The room I had was lovely and perfect for sleeping in. Despite never needing room service since I'm generally cleanly, the service was outstanding in the bar area! Nice staff and very helpful when I had questions. The location itself is lovely, but the only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it isn't close to anything noteworthy. If you need anything you'll have to go to the three neighbouring towns.

If I could give less than 1 star I would… The worst fish and chips I’ve ever experienced. My fish cake must have been either sat under the light for 38 days or recooked 13 times. Inedible. Avoid like the plague…
