Service and location are perfect. I only gave the room 4 stars due to not enough storage for 2 people. Emily behind the bar advised us to come back in the evening for the evening entertainment, and we're so glad we did the singer was awesome 👌 so much so we believe all premier inn should have evening entertainment and we coming back for tonight's entertainment too.

DANGEROUS & FILTHY FALLING APART HOTEL, THEY AVOIDED EVEN CALLING BACK AND OFFERED PARTIAL AMOUNT OF MY 2 NIGHT STAY AFTER SCARRING MY HAND FOR LIFE. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS HOTEL IS DIRTY, SMELLS, CARPETS & BATHROOMS COMPLETELY DISGUSTING. 2 members of staff we met were friendly and polite, the night receptionist was rude to my partner and not welcoming.

Booked as a cheap last minute night away. Which turned into an amazing night away with great memories made. Room was clean & comfortable. Great location & before arriving i explained to a member of staff "Megan" it was an anniversary get away , she was extremely helpful , sorted a more suitable room & there was added extras of chocolates , lovely fresh cookies (I was advised as my husband ate them all 😁) & a lovely personal touch card. Thankyou Megan ( I did leave a thankyou & praise for your efforts at reception before leaving) Would definitely stay again.

I want to start by making a point That the staff were really helpful And very welcoming, I did, however Find that the room it was very cold even with the radiator on? We did also have an issue with the plug getting stuck in the bath Which meant that what was meant to be quite a relaxing evening ended up with my friend and I going down and asking them to help us get the plug out (This was because the plug was rusted and missing The chain) So not ideal! I don’t know how connected the restaurant downstairs is with the hotel, but I didn’t think the food was good and my friends lemonade was so flat there was not one single bubble, So definitely wouldn’t recommend that! I also wouldn’t recommend the breakfast and next time we will bring my own, But again, the staff were very welcoming And helped where they could!

Review of Premier Inn Torquay Seafront Hotel Premier Inn Torquay Seafront Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Torquay, especially for those seeking a convenient location with easy access to the seaside. Situated right on the seafront promenade, the hotel offers an ideal spot for walks and visits to nearby attractions such as Torre Abbey and the harbor. Pros: • Excellent Location: The hotel’s biggest advantage is undoubtedly its prime location. It’s within walking distance of the beach and the town center, making it very convenient for tourists. • Friendly Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being polite and helpful. The service is professional and creates a welcoming atmosphere. • Good Value for Money: Compared to other hotels in the area, Premier Inn offers a good balance between price and quality, especially for short stays. • Comfortable Beds: As with most Premier Inn hotels, the beds here are comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. Cons: • Dated Rooms: Some of the furniture and decor in the rooms appear worn and in need of renovation. Guests have mentioned that the interior looks tired and poorly maintained. • Parking Issues: The hotel has a limited number of parking spaces, which can be inconvenient during peak seasons. The alternative is using nearby paid public parking. • Cleanliness Concerns: There have been some complaints regarding cleanliness in the rooms and common areas. At times, cleaning seems insufficient, with a lack of attention to detail. • Poor Soundproofing: Some guests have noted that the walls are thin, and noise from neighboring rooms or hallways can be heard, potentially disturbing the stay. Conclusion: Premier Inn Torquay Seafront Hotel is a great option for travelers looking for a convenient location and a pleasant atmosphere at an affordable price. Despite some drawbacks, such as dated furnishings and cleanliness issues, the hotel makes up for it with its excellent location and friendly staff. For a short stay or a weekend getaway by the sea, this hotel is a solid choice, though it might not fully meet the expectations of more demanding guests.

Stayed for 4 night over Christmas, the hotel was clean and the staff on hand to great us, we arrived early but our room was not available to check in early, they did offer to change our room but I had requested a certain room and did not want to move. We were still allowed to check in 30 min early. We had a premier room which are based in a new part of the building which is either a walk along a large corridor or walk round the outside through the car park. Our room was great, very large with two windows, the room was clean, bed was your standard premier inn bed very comfortable. We had a fridge and coffee machine, problem with coffee machine is no coffee pods anywhere to be collected. The hotel was very quite apart from the room above us had an elephant staying in it that did not understand stamping across your top floor room at 4am might just wake those below up, but like clock work this elephant woke for its nightly piss and stamped across the room and back. I would stay here again, we had a great stay just do not eat in the Restaurant, many better places on the front.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right near the sea front and within walking distance of some nice restaurants. The hotel itself is nice but does need a bit of a refresh in places, like the hallways and beer garden, both are a bit dated and smell a little funky. The room itself was a good size and what you would expect. Parking is a bit tight in places, but there is normally enough. The breakfast was good, full English and continental available. I've stayed here a few times and am booked to go back. I stay at premier inns regularly for work around the south of the UK and I do like this location.

As always, clean, affordable, great location and good value for money. However, rooms 600 plus are some distance from reception and for the likes of wheelchair users, which we came across, somewhat of a distance for them from the main reception. One other small point if I may and this one's for the new hotel design team, soft closing toilet seats would be a winner. Boy do the current ones come down with a bang! Other opinions are of course available but Im "soft closer" myself

Pushed the boat out for one night here (!) and opted for a sea view room, and it was a pleasant surprise compared to the usual Premier Inn window view of a roof or a road junction (jokes). A great view from the room and the room was big, which again is a bonus! The hotel is looking tired and dated inside tho and could use some funds to spruce it up, but otherwise, all good apart from the wifi, which was incredibly bad, and car park fees of £3 per night but it is about 200m from the beach!

A very disappointing two night stay: on the Premier Inn's website the hotel is presented as a 10. You see a beautiful house, with lush green garden in front, clean surfaces, modern, slick rooms and nice bathrooms. These were the pictures I trusted and booked on that great impression. In reality it's a 5! The garden has been transformed into a pub garden, with garbage lying all around, cigarette tips and dirt covering the steps. The chique breakfast room now has a buffet built out of uncovered tables, blocking the attractive long wall sofa. No cheese served at breakfast by the way. " We don't do cheese" tells me the restaurant staff. The room was nice but not up to standard. No reading light at the table, although there is one in every one of the website pictures. The strange water saving tap in the bathroom is a nuisance, spraying water all over the place, but is supposed to be changed back soon says reception. So ok. But the windows haven't been cleaned in months! When the sun shines into them, there is no chance of looking out. They a simply to filthy! One finds the same with the lift. The inside of the door is so filthy, I wouldn't want to touch it. And that's the impression one gets of the entire Hotel: nothing has been done for a very long time. Now, I do understand the times are hard, specially in Torquay. But that is no reason for filth and laziness. This has to change! One more thing: the staff is poorly trained in the sense of sensibility, appearance and motivation. But that's the management's fault. The entire staff during our stay was very polite and always very helpfull. Thank you. We will not be returning to this hotel in Torquay and I am not certain if we want to consider another Premier Inn after this experience.

Superb location. Literally a few steps away from the sea front! Rooms were clean and tidy and if you have stayed at any other premier inn then the same applies here to the rooms. Service from reception was great and informative. The beefeater attached wasn’t so great unfortunately. We had booked breakfast for both mornings of our stay and only went the once. The food wasn’t great and unfortunately had 10/15 children running around the entire dining area. Although this isn’t the fault of premier inn/beefeater. The waiters/waitress were great though and they unfortunately seemed understaffed. All in all I do recommend this hotel based on location but I would skip the breakfast and go elsewhere.

Loved this hotel. Has a feeling of nostalgia whilst being modern and comfortable. Lovely, friendly staff and clean room as always with premier inn. Good restaurant attached with lots of gluten free options. Only cider they had was strongbow which was a shame. Parking - you park your car as normal. Get vouchers from reception when you check in and give them your reg plate. Then pay when you leave the carpark (each time) using a voucher. If you loose a voucher, reception can issue more, no worries. Works out at £3.50 per day. It's a strange way of doing things, but I understand they need some system as its so close to beach and amenities where there is very limited parking. Would visit again.

Just DON’T do it! On entering the hotel we were excited to be at the seaside, happy and smiling, excited to rest in the Premier Inn Famous bed. We were not looking for glamour, just a clean comfy room to relax and rest. Our hopes were soon dashed, checking in was friendly enough and staff were lovely, we were directed to our room and off we went. From the friendly brightness of reception we entered what seemed like a never ending, dim corridor, yellow walls and a rather disturbing aroma of damp. The carpets were dated and old, I felt as if we were in The Back Rooms, Google The Back Rooms to see what I mean. We finally found room 515, right at the back of this huge hotel. On entering the room we were greeted by a rather odd looking bed with a huge gaping hole underneath where there used it be a pull out bed perhaps? Who knows! We were tired and rushing off to see the sea..in the dark..on our return I decided to take a bath, I found some bodily hair in the bath which I could not rinse out very well because of the fixed shower head, I felt a bit sick. Anyhow I decided that I would not sleep ‘in’ the bed that night as the room felt wrong, unclean, which was unsettling for me and my partner. I say awake much of the night and decided to check out straight away, despite having paid for two nights. I took some photos of the mould round the windows, absolute filth on door hinges, dirty mirrors, bed sheet too short for the bed and disgusting dirt around the hand soap bottles. Peeling paint work….. Sticky stuff on walls..what WAS that? I don’t want to think about it… I work in a care home with vulnerable people, Covid is still with us, yet these rooms are allowed to be in this state! And don’t even get me started on the adjoining Beefeater! When my elbows stuck to the table so knew we were in for a rocky ride! So like I said, unless you want a night that resembles a nightmare, then Don’t Do It!
