According to their website, prices for their rooms can change by over £100 a night depending on the day of the week, from as high as £176 for a standard room (ouch!) to £39 for the same room if booked for a few days later. Madness but no doubt designed to fleece consumers!

We have stayed here a few times and the staff are always excellent, rooms have been upgraded and are nice...beds very comfortable but the wifi is terrible...now I am not saying it is a make or break to stay here as we are not that sort of family but when I'm paying in excess of £110 for two nights essentially for a bed I expect us to be able to use the Internet and maybe my son to watch something on his phone...its simply terrible...you can pay £5 for ultimate wifi but why am I paying more money...I shouldn't have to pay more if there is free WiFi available. It should be good enough and included in the price. Very very happy with everything else but I find this poor.

In 2024, every room was refurbished and redecorated, so now every room is a premium room. As far as Premier Inn goes, this is a great hotel. Showers have excellent pressure, the location is good and staff are friendly. To anyone visiting, I recommend that if you want snacks for the room, get them before you arrive as there are no stores nearby, except for a petrol station, whose prices are high.

Thank you Connie!!! This is a comfortable and clean hotel with the facilities you'd expect for the price. The bed was very comfortable and couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. But the highlight of our stay was Connie at reception - Connie was so lovely and made us feel we were home away from home. She went above and beyond to make sure we were sorted for restaurant bookings, breakfast, towels, etc. She had great knowledge of the area and greeted us with a smile and a chat whenever we passed through the hotel. What exceptional customer service - thank you Connie!

The hotel could do with a little updating but the facilities are of an acceptable standard. The location was excellent for my needs and the service was brilliant. I was made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended! *Update - really pleased to see that they have upgraded the rooms. I stayed in a Premier Plus and it was lovely.

We chose this as it gave us the chance to get through M25 on Sunday and then a day out before reaching our final destination. We visited Ightham Mote

Beautifully quiet, comfy bed, bath was exactly the relax I needed after 4.5 hours train from Northumberland & London underground. Clean room, super friendly receptionist & welcome, evening arrival. Lovely cup of coffee. Beefeater right next door. Lovely quiet location & few minutes taxi from station.

Room was spacious but dated. Carpets threadbare in place, walls cracked and stained. Black mold in window area had been painted over. Hole in roof. Clear signs of damp and water damage from ceiling. Room was 26°c and window open to about 3cm. No air conditioning. We're provide with a standing fan, which made more noise then a Lancaster bomber. Bathroom was in need of some TLC broken tiles, dirty grout and plenty of limescale. Water was colder then the room! Bed comfy, slept OK. Whole ace needs

We booked a meal here with family . So, I can't comment on accommodation. The food was nice and tasty , but a bit overpriced for the amount they served .Nice for a special occasion, and they have a dog friendly area in the restaurant .

This is a Premier Inn that doesn't live up to expectations. The room I was in (30) had damp coming through the ceiling, there was so much silicone attempting and failing to hide the cracks in the walls. Hot water intermittent. I stayed for 3 nights, requested a quiet room, was informed the hotel was full so I was on the main road side. The hotel wasn't full on nights 2 and 3 so they could easily have moved me, but it wasn't an option. As for the neighbouring Beefeater, just don't. Like the hotel, it needs some tlc. Nice staff, though.

A strange experience. Like the Marie Celeste, it appeared abandoned when we arrived but, after finding a hidden bell, eventually someone arrived who told us we could not book there but had to do this on-line. This became an arduous process as it required entering large amounts of personal information to register so that we could then book. After many attempts my password was at last accepted and I proceeded to try to book. The cost for 2 people in 2 rooms for one night came out at £290. For a basic chain hotel this seemed excessive, particularly when the web-site headline price as £55 per person per night. Having tried to telephone and being kept on the line for ages with fatuous recorded statements, I gave up. Not an experience to be repeated.

Staff were very friendly and polite. Location was good as very quiet, lots of parking and town centre was 25 minutes walk away. Rooms were a little dated and needs a refresh.

Great quality food which is delicious and affordable. We cannot wait for them to start the eat in breakfast menu, then it will be our regular haunt.
