As all premier inns have an associated restaurant i am including our experience as we booked lunch via premier inn 6 People travelled some distance for an event close by went to go to lunch to be told gas leak in the kitchen no food (although they were taking bookings for the evening, how did they know it would be repaired!?) asked manager if we could order some food to be delivered NO quite rudely she said. next morning went for breakfast to be told chef hasn't turned up only have cereal.from a local person this apparently is a regular occurrence NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK HERE

Very disappointed with the restaurant staff. Poorly trained and lacking in common sense. Rude and abrupt to me. A staff member wasn’t trained sufficiently and give me some wrong information. When the manger approached me she was rude disrespectful. Her staff member had made a mistake but for some reason she thought it was my fault although I’d be given the information off another staff member who then proceeded to blatantly lie in front of my face. I’m a business account holder at premier inn and we use the hotels frequently. I’ve made a formal complaint. Abbey the so called manager who would rather try blame the customer instead of dealing with the situation differently. Her staff member have been incorrectly trained and apparently it’s my fault. Cancelled my reservation and made a formal complaint. I’d asked for a tab before I sat for my meal deal which was already paid for!! And was granted off on lad behind the bar. But apparently they aren’t allowed to give tabs even thought I was staying in the hotel that evening and my table was booked for 10mins time. Because the managers poorly trained staff gave me a tab she rudely insisted I pay for the one pint of Guinness I’d just taken instead of allowing me to pay after my meal. The lad behind with the the bar then tried to say I’d made him give me a tab!! Blatant lies to cover his back. Typical ! Abbey clearly thought I should know the rules better then her own staff. Very poor customer skills. So up at 3am this morning traveled from Manchester and now I’m I’m going to bed with no food in me because I couldn’t pay for pint after my meal!! Jokers!!! On a positive note. The girl behind reception was absolutely amazing and she clearly had been trained how to deal with paying customers and issues that may arise. She kindly refunded me my meal deal I’d pre-paid for because I refused to eat in there after being treated that way. I asked for a tab and was given one but because the staff don’t have a clue it as my fault clearly. What’s that saying? Oh yeah the customer is always right!!!

Spacious car park, good Beef eater restaurant, rooms are clean and comfortable. Shopping mall close by called mercury, worth a visit. Stayed away with work , it done the job

One of the worst premier inns i have stayed in. Rude staff on arrival, Room was 40+ degrees with one fan provided to help that didn’t work properly, when asked for another said there was not anymore available.

Was staying in the outside block, no lifts in this block, room was standard premier inn room, hairdryer didn't work, light above mirror in bathroom flickering, no air con and the room was roasting 17° outside and 24.5° in the room, window barely opens, put the fan on and it blew dust everywhere, glad was just the one night. Good location though

Another Premier Inn which does not seem to be well maintained. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work, the shower curtain rail was broken, and the wall mounted TV looked like it had been mounted after a long night out. I don't understand why there is such a variance across locations. I recently stayed at a PI in Edinburgh which was fantastic.

My partner and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant, but we were very disappointed. The portion sizes were extremely small compared to the high prices. We noticed that the takeaway menu was reasonably priced, but for dine-in, they had doubled the prices. During our meal, I asked for chili oil, which is usually provided for free with appetizers at other restaurants. However, they charged an unreasonable amount for it, and to make matters worse, the price wasn’t even listed on the menu. On top of that, there was a mandatory 12.5% service charge. The restaurant was empty, and now I understand why. the food was overly salty, one person was working in the restuarent keep saying they have to charge for tap water, charge to wash the glass etc which is ridiculous. overall, I ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a disappointing meal. I will never return.

Had an order delivered to the hotel, came earlier than estimated. The food was high quality and travelled well. Still hot and had a very good flavour and everything had a satisfying texture - lamb shish was cooked not cremated, salad was crunchy and the pickled chillis had a pop. Would recommend to anyone. Can't comment on atmosphere or service because i got it on just eat
